It was disheartening to feel that no one wanted to even try to work with me for something as special as my wedding day. Thankfully I found Tiwa Lawrence on social media one day and she wasn’t at all intimidated by the challenge of my allergy. Tiwa is highly trained and knowledgeable about her trade. She was familiar with parabens and had a clear understanding of my allergy and specific needs. For my safety and well-being, she went even further and did additional research to ensure that none of the products she used on me would cause a reaction. We had one phone conversation and I immediately booked her even before doing a makeup trial. I was sold on both her professionalism and expertise in not only makeup application but with its ingredients and skincare. Tiwa also has a sweet spirit and is very engaging with her clients whom she treats more as close friends than patrons. On my wedding day Tiwa made my bridesmaids and I look and feel BEAUTIFUL! Our friends and families were astonished at how incredibly glamorous we looked that day. Each of us received a plethora of compliments on how incredible we looked. My older sister has an eye disease that causes her eyelids to swell and be puffy. This was another “challenge” that Tiwa took in stride. She was able to blend the makeup in such a way that the swelling and puffiness of my sister’s eyes was not even visible! Tiwa gave me the timeless, breathtaking look I had hoped for. It felt amazing to walk down the aisle and see the elation on my now husband’s face. She’s done my makeup three times now and I can’t imagine ever using anyone else for special occasions. I’m planning to take a class with her soon to learn some of her tricks for my everyday makeup needs. Tiwa is just the absolute best and I'd recommend her to any and every one!
