If you had told me in 2016 that I’d leave my corporate career, sell everything I owned, and build a heartfelt wedding photography and videography company—I wouldn’t have believed you. But that’s exactly what happened. I was managing a $6 million craft store with 60 employees. On paper, I was successful. But something was missing. I felt this pull—like I was meant for something bigger. So, in what many called a crazy move, I quit my job, sold almost everything, and spent months couch-surfing, searching for what came next. My wife (then girlfriend) saw my struggle and believed in me before I even knew what I was chasing. I asked if she’d help me get a camera—just to document my journey. She did. And that camera changed everything. I had always loved photography and videography, but I never thought it could be more than a hobby. That changed when I filmed my first wedding for a friend. I poured my heart into it—60 hours editing just the first five minutes. No formal training, just a deep desire to capture something real. And I loved every second of it. One wedding led to another. Then another. Before I knew it, I had filmed 22 weddings in my first year. That’s when I knew—this was it. When I look back on my own wedding, I have regrets. Not about marrying my wife—she’s incredible—but about what wasn’t captured. The moments that slipped away. The little details lost. That’s why I built TLIC—to create a regret-proof wedding photography & videography experience. Because when the day is over, the flowers fade, and the music stops, your memories are all that remain. And I want to make sure you can relive them forever.
