Kimberlee and team had us looking and feeling so beautiful on my Wedding Day! I fell in love with my bridal look during my trial and immediately connected with Kimberlee. She was communicative and so helpful in planning for the big day. On the morning of, Kimberlee arrived with Wilmary (hair stylist) and Dimple (second makeup artist) and they got to work while creating such a fun, relaxing vibe for me, my bridesmaids, mom and mother-in-law while getting ready! They took their time and really listened to what we wanted for our looks while also being so efficient that we wrapped up ahead of schedule even with touch ups! I loved my experience with To Make Beautiful for my wedding day! Kim and Dana are extremely talented - the day of the wedding, my hair and makeup came out perfect. I had to go back for 2 hair/makeup trials in order to get the look exactly right, and they were patient and listened closely to my vision and recommendations. To Make Beautiful did a great job communicating leading up to the big day. They helped form an itinerary for the morning of, in order to get all 10 girls (7 bridesmaids, 2 mother's and 1 bride) ready in time for photos. The artists were fun and supportive while getting ready. The vibe was comfortable, with music blasting and conversation flowing naturally. Most importantly, the bridal party looked beautiful. Not only is she an extraordinarily talented makeup artist, but she was also SO easy to work with... incredibly organized, professional, and responsive (she literally answered every single email or question I had within minutes!). Kim, Jessica and other team members from To Make Beautiful made our wedding dreams come true. They were super nice and very flexible, as we kept adding people to the wedding party for hair and makeup. The trial (which I recommend) went well, and the day of the wedding, my hair and makeup was absolutely stunning. It survived the 85 degree heat for 12 hours!! I have oily skin too and so I didn't think it would make it. I had it done in the morning, and by 11:30 at night it was still flawless. Everyone told me I looked like a supermodel on my wedding day. The team including Jessica came to our hotel and were very accommodating. They made all my bridesmaids look amazing! I most highly recommend them. Now I have beautiful pictures from that day and I owe it all to them!

I had an AMAZING experience with the to make beautiful team. Kim was so easy to communicate with, ask questions, book a trial, and schedule all of my wedding day needs. Her team (Jessica, Wilmary, Ashley, and Jordan) were fantastic on the wedding day. They made the day zero stress and all of the bridal party (including me) felt so relaxed and calm. They are such professionals at what they do. The hair and make up results were also perfect -- everyone looked stunning for the entire evening. Furthermore, my sister in law had been hesitant to get her hair and make up done so I put zero pressure on her to have her try it, but left the option open. On the day of, she jumped right in to get both hair and make up done because she could see the artists were so kind and not overbearing. Honestly, where do I even begin. Look no further!!! Kim and her team GOTCHU!!! on your wedding day!!!  Choosing a makeup artist was the hardest vendor to pick. I never wear make up, more than just eyeliner on occasion. I did not want my face to look like it wasn't me, or that there was a bunch of caked on makeup on my face either. I wanted a natural look with a little "umph" and boy did Kim NAIL IT! I went to see Kim for a trial with my MOH, and I'm so glad I went to the trial and I had somebody with me. I knew my MOH would give me her honest opinion as well, since she's more into make-up than I am. I'm so glad I did the trial because I really did like the make up Kim did, but after a few hours went by, I knew I wanted something a little lighter. I also went to Kim a few weeks before our wedding to get a lash lift and tint. I had no idea what it was but I was willing to trust Kim and let her do her magic. Fast forward to our wedding day and Kim made it happen!! Her talent is beyond extraordinary. She really listened to me and focused her time and energy on all the girls to give them exactly what they wanted. Everyone looked absolutely beautiful!! Kim's responsiveness overall was impeccable. She replied within 1-2 hours for most of my emails, but without a doubt, she replied within 24-48 hours. She was so professional, beyond flexible and totally understanding! Even after our wedding, I'm still going back to her salon to get my lash lift and tint done! Plus, she offers 15% off her services to her bridal clients! Ladies, choose To Make Beautiful!!! You will not regret it!!

I was very nervous to get my makeup done because in the past as I never had the best experience. When I met with Kim for my trial, she really understood what I wanted. She is so friendly, professional and the makeup looked AMAZING. I just felt so pretty and confident. When it came time for my Wedding, WOW. It is really all I can say. Kim was punctual and she made me feel very calm and excited for the big day! She brought Jordan and they both did such a phenomenal job on my Wedding party. I got married in September of 2021 and Kim and Wilmary were two of the best parts of my wedding! Kim was super professional. She always answered all of my email questions immediately and offered up times to chat through any follow ups I might have. She was very transparent with pricing and friendly, which made it very comfortable to book with her. On the actual day of the wedding, Kim was so professional, nice, and friendly that it felt like having an amazingly talented friend there to do makeup. I've had my makeup done at a few weddings and this is the first wedding that my bridesmaids and myself have loved our own makeup. Kim really knows how to find the right makeup for each person! As for hair, Wilmary was great! I have very thin hair and she made it look amazing and thick. All of my bridesmaids have very different hair types and hair preferences and she made it all work easily and look effortless. Wilmary even finished all of our hair early and then applied touch ups to anyone that wanted them. I would highly recommend hiring ToMakeBeautiful - they were one of the least stressful/best parts of my wedding!

I could not have been any happier with To Make Beautiful. From initially reaching out, to the hair/makeup trial, to my wedding day, everything was seamless. The team arrived at the venue on time and were able to complete hair/makeup for a big group of women with time to spare. The ladies were so friendly and made getting ready even more fun.  Everyone looked flawless- they were all beyond happy with how their hair and makeup turned out. I expressed concern about my dark circles, and Kim knew exactly what to do! I have never felt prettier. My make-up lasted all day and looked PERFECT in pictures. Kim truly has a way of making you feel comfortable and confident. I showed Angela a picture of an updo and she NAILED it. I received so many compliments and it stayed in place all night. I had such a great experience with To make beautiful! I was supposed to get married 9/2020, and then rescheduled twice more. Kim was so helpful and kind throughout the whole process. I had Jessica do my bridal makeup and she did an outstanding job. I received endless compliments throughout the entire night about how great my makeup looked… I never felt more beautiful! Jessica and Angela did makeup for a total of 11 people that needed to be ready by 1. They were timely and efficient. Everyone’s makeup was beautiful. My bridal party was so happy. I had to change my wedding last minute and Kim came as a referral from a friend and I am SO happy she did! Kim was always very quick at responding and always extremely professional. Kim and her team are amazing. They are the perfect balance between listening to exactly what you want for your hair and makeup and inputting their professional expertise. A lot of the photos I saw online looked more "glam" so I was a little nervous going in before my trial since I wanted a bit more of a simple/boho look for both hair and makeup and they executed FLAWLESSLY for my trial and my micro-wedding day. Working with Kim was such a delight!! I was so lucky to have found her! While it has taken me a little while to write reviews from my minimony this past August (2020), I definitely wanted to call out the amazing services of Kim at To Make Beautiful! With the craziness of this year, my husband and I decided to wait until the last second to pivot from our planned ceremony and reception to a smaller ceremony, with a larger reception (hopefully) next year! We made the decision July 1st to keep our August 2020 date, leaving me just over a month to coordinate a bunch of changes. I had already chosen a makeup team closer to my venue in Scituate, MA but now that we were saving the venue until next year, I wanted to find someone who was local to our new minimony location in Gloucester, MA. I found To Make Beautiful on the list of recommended vendors from Cruiseport Gloucester. Kim was fantastic in helping me figure out timing of services and was able to give me the look I wanted without having a makeup trial (my choice). During the getting ready process, she added to the day’s excitement and was a joy to work with. She was very professional, arrived on time and was able to accommodate 4 people when I had only scheduled for 3. I can’t recommend her enough!

To Make Beautiful was a preferred vendor through my wedding venue, and I could not be happier that I chose them to do my wedding day hair and makeup! I can’t say enough how great an experience I had with them from start to finish. When I had my makeup trial back in early March of 2020, Kim was so personable and fun, and she did my makeup even better than how I envisioned it. When COVID-19 shut everything down days later, I got a little worried that my November 2020 wedding might not happen. Over the next several months, my now husband and I decided to push our date up to take advantage of summer weather, and decided to have an outdoor micro wedding in August of 2020 instead. When I told Kim about the change in plans and asked if she was available on our new date, she was incredibly flexible and excited to work with me and my wedding party. Kim has been so easy to communicate with and super reliable. She answered emails almost immediately and made the process so easy. She and hair stylist, Angela, arrived right on time the day of the wedding, wore masks the whole time, sanitized all of their equipment thoroughly, and got me and the three other ladies in my wedding party looking and feeling gorgeous, all while keeping things moving right on schedule and having fun while doing it. Everyone’s hair and makeup looked perfect and lasted the whole day, even after a windy dinner on an outdoor deck! I would highly recommend Kim and Angela from To Make Beautiful to anyone. Their best qualities were how responsive, flexible, talented, and professional they were, which is especially impressive to pull off in the face of a global pandemic. And on top of that, they were super fun and easy to work with the day of. When I got to my church after my makeup and hair appointment to change into my wedding dress, I looked in the mirror in the church bathroom and said to myself for the first time ever, "I look beautiful, like a princess"! I could not wait to walk down the aisle feeling that way and for my now husband to see me. He later told me during our reception that I looked like I belonged on the cover of a bridal magazine, and we have gotten so many comments on our wedding photos about how stunning the bride looked! I am still in awe that the bride they are talking about is me! What matters even more than the incredible talent Kim and Angela have for doing hair and makeup is how deeply kind they both are and how much they want to contribute to making your wedding day the best day of your life. They genuinely care about who you are as a person. They want to know all about the person you are marrying, how your love story unfolded, and also what you do for work, where you live, and everything that makes you who you are. The amazing part is they will remember all of these details years later when you reconnect with them, despite the number of brides they work with year to year. I am beyond touched by the great care they gave to me as a bride and as a person, and having them as part of my wedding day is something I will carry with me for the rest of my life! I will have Kim and Angela do my hair and makeup again in a heartbeat for any other life events I am blessed to walk through. Kim and Ashley were simply amazing! Have you ever been to a wedding and you don't recognize the bride? Well I have and I didn't want to be anyone but me. Ashley arrived first and started right away on my hair assuring me that she had my uncontrollable hair under control. Kim arrived and immediately started my makeup. I explained that I wanted a glammed up natural look and that is exactly what I got! Kim and Ashley were professional, but warm and friendly, and easy to talk to. I am still receiving compliments from my wedding guests.

Kim and Angela were amazing for our wedding! They both made me feel so comfortable at the trial I had before the wedding. It was so organized to fill out a form ahead of time explaining hair length and possible hair styles for each of the girls so that they would have an idea beforehand what to expect on the day of the wedding. They both arrived just on time and finished just on time, even with some changes adding a couple of people for them to work with last minute. They were so fun to be with that day, especially since I was a little nervous about everything going "right." We did not feel ruahed or stressed that we were behind schedule that day. They did such an amazing job with how they did the hair and makeup for everyone. I did not even feel the fake eyelashes and even forgot I was wearing them. Some of the bridesmaids had mentioned that the eyelashes felt much better on when Kim did it that day compared to having them put on by other makeup artists when they were bridesmaids for other weddings in the past. The makeup looks so natural and did not feel heavy on. My hair and makeup lasted pretty much through the night and our wedding was in August. My mom, sister, and bridesmaids loved loved loved Angela and Kim so much. I will definitely go with them in the future when I need to get my hair and makeup done again!

My makeup stayed fresh both days (despite 92 degree heat for my engagement shoot). They understood my skin tone and made my eyes pop in ways no makeup artists have done before. I hate when you can see foundation on your face; Jen made my skin glow on wedding day. It didn't look like I was wearing loads of makeup and yet all her application choices, especially the shadow and eyelashes, did wonders for me. The whole look was beautiful both in person and in pictures. I felt like me, but a radiant version of me. On top of that, Jen was patient, fun and sweet to have in the bridal suite. My hairdresser went over her allotted time and Jen was super chill about it. Even during my trial, she spent (lots of) extra time with me, getting my shadow color just right. I plan to use To Make Beautiful any time I want to get my makeup done for an event. They're true professionals and wonderful people, who are invested in making you feel beautiful and happy on your special day.

I cannot even describe how beautiful I felt on my wedding day due to Kim ! She was not only professional but so comforting as I was not feeling 100% after recovering from the flu on my wedding day. I really wanted a dramatic and romantic look while still looking like myself. She completely nailed it ! My mom, who wanted a more natural look and has some issues with eye makeup due to allergies, also came out stunning ! On a scale of 1-10 I have to give Kim a 100!

Kimberlee was absolutely amazing to work with. She was willing to travel to our venue to do all 10 of our make-up. She knew exactly how to make each of my bridesmaids makeup pop. I would recommend her to any of my friends who are getting married. Thank you for such an amazing and stress free day!

I had the best experience with Kim, who did my makeup for my wedding in April. Not only is she extremely talented and professional, but Kim is very kind and easy to talk to. I was extremely lucky to find her just a few weeks before my big day. When I visited Kim for my trial, we tried a few different looks. I wasn't really sure how I saw myself as a bride. Kim worked with me to find a look that really felt like me but more glamorous. She wanted me to be happy with the result and was more than willing to try different things to get me there. A week before my wedding day, my brother (who was my man of honor) got a black eye at my husband's bachelor party. I panicked. When I told Kim what happened, she didn't bat (a voluminous) eyelash. Not only did she put me at ease but she was able to cover up the bruise perfectly. I could not be more impressed. I would -- and have -- recommended Kim to my best friend. Thank you Kim for everything you did to help make my wedding day wonderful!

My mom and I loved getting our makeup done by Jaqui! Neither of us has ever gotten our makeup done professionally nor do we wear makeup on a regular basis. Jacqui did such a great job getting an idea of what we were comfortable with and suggesting colours and styles that would suit our skin tone, eye colour etc. We were so happy with the end result that it made us want to get our makeup done together on a more regular basis!

So much fun. They do such a great job with hair and makeup. Everyone's hair looked stunning and everyone that got their makeup done looked gorgeous.

This review is long overdue - I had my hair and makeup trial with Kim and Angela on 4/29/19. They were nothing short of amazing. My wedding is 9/21/19 and they couldn't have been more professional, kind, and accommodating with dates and times as I am also currently living out-of-state. I was on the fence about doing a trial (trying to save money) but I would highly suggest it to anyone now! Not only did Kim and Angela knock it out of the park by nailing the exact wedding-day look I was going for, but they completely put me at ease and my anxiety is 0% now for the big day! They were also so kind to my sister and mom who I brought with me and will also be getting hair and makeup done for the wedding. Kim and Angela, thank you so much for putting me at ease. I chose To Make a beautiful because I remember thinking during my trial “I would love to hang out with these ladies all day!” It was so important to me to hire a group that could help us all feel comfortable and have fun that morning on a day when you could feel major stress! We had over 10 people getting hair and make up and everyone looked amazing!!

We used Kim and the TMB team for both hair and make-up for my wedding in early June and I'm SO glad that we did! Kim is the sweetest person and is so talented at what she does! I had her do my make-up for my engagement photo shoot last year and I knew I needed her for my wedding day. I emphasized that I wanted to look natural and not too "done-up" and she delivered! I had Angela for my hair and she was also amazing! She understood my vision for a loose up-do with soft curls and I loved how it came out! My bridesmaids, mom, and mother-in-law also all looked amazing and were very happy with their hair and make-up. Even as a nervous bride on the morning of my wedding, the TMB team made me feel so comfortable, relaxed, and excited for the big day. I'm so happy I chose them!

I had an amazing experience working with Kim, Angela, and the To Make Beautiful team! Kim and Angela did my bridal hair and makeup both for a trial and for my wedding day . I feel like they really listened to what my vision was for what I wanted to look like on my wedding day and were so collaborative. They brought such a nice energy into the getting ready process and I felt like I could just relax knowing I was in good hands. I absolutely LOVED my wedding day look. As someone that doesn't wear a lot of makeup, I was so happy with how enhanced yet natural I looked! My hair and makeup lasted all day and all night (almost 12 hours total.) My bridesmaids also had their hair and makeup done by the To Make Beautiful team. They all loved how their looks turned out too! I used this makeup company last minute after attending a different wedding where several bridesmaids were pleased. I am so happy with the services we all received, and how fun but also professional the team was. Jessica and Jasmine did a phenomenal job on everybody’s makeup. I don’t typically wear anything but that day felt and looked like a movie star, and it lasted all night. I would absolutely book this company, or those girls again! Thank you!

Kim is awesome to work with! She put up with my indecisiveness and anyone that can do that has a heart of gold! She really helped me decide on what I truly wanted and was so patient with me. I also had about 16 girls getting hair and makeup done on the day of the wedding and Kim and her team (Dana and Debra) were all so fun and made me feel so calm. All of girls loved their makeup. Most importantly, we were on time and everyone looked beautiful! I loved my makeup, it was so soft and elegant which is exactly what I wanted. Kim made it happen! . I am not even sure where to begin but I am so thankful for Kim and Kasey, not only taking me last minute after a horrible makeup trial from another company. But all the way from my trial to my wedding day they made me feel so special; checking on me, seeing if I needed anything, if I wanted to change something. They really went above and beyond to make me feel like I was family. My bridesmaids and mothers were very happy with the hair and makeup. Not one person was unhappy which was perfect because it made the day go very smoothly. I first wanted to say THANK YOU to Kim for making me feel so beautiful on my wedding day. She did such an amazing job and I can’t thank her and recommend her enough!! Kim has a very calming personality that makes any nerves on the day of your wedding go away!! From my mother, to my sister and all of my bridesmaids, their make-up all looked beautiful and so natural! During our trial Kim made sure that I looked how I wanted to look, and if something was not right, would adjust to my liking! I can not recommend her enough. To Make Beautiful did such an amazing job for my wedding! From the first time I met Kim at the trial I knew she was a perfect match for me. Her personality says it all! She is calming but fun all in one package - something a nervous bride needs especially on the day of her wedding to make sure everyone is having a good time. The owner Kim had done myself, as well as my 2 sisters for my wedding two weeks ago and we all were extremely happy! She is wonderful, & has a fun personality as a plus! Our makeup looked amazing, and we got compliments from everyone, as well as my co-workers & clients when they had seen my pictures afterwards.
