Diego and the entire team, worked with us so that we could customize our dream wedding. From making a grazing table that all of our guests were in awe of, to orchestrating fun signature drinks, to putting together Chinese takeout boxes with chicken tenders as late night snacks, To Your Taste went above and beyond to give us our dream wedding! Not only was the food delicious, but the presentation was exactly what we wanted and reminded us of the fun restaurants we discover in DC. We were able to meet with Diego multiple times leading up to the wedding and their team took care of every detail. While initially we were stressed about the idea of picking a catering company, we knew from the first meeting with the team at To Your Taste, we were in good hands. The way they listened to our ideas and were able to incorporate everything so smoothly, we know they would be an amazing addition to any wedding or party. ularly of our desire to keep a tight budget—and prompt to schedule a tasting for us. As soon as the tasting finished, we knew we would sign with TYTC for everything but dessert. The food was superb, not just run-of-the-mill wedding “fish and chicken,” but flavorful and cooked to perfection. TYTC also has dozens of appetizer options, perfect for all cuisines and preferences. There was no issue adding items that were non-dairy and GF for several guests with dietary restrictions. In the months before our wedding, Diego was responsive and communicative. He led us know a few months before the wedding that he may need to be on travel…and could miss our wedding. This was only worrying when, after doing walkthroughs (x2), questions kept popping up that we had already answered about décor, timeline etc. Fortunately, Diego handed us off to his colleague Paola who has an extensive background in weddings. Paola was a delight to work with on our wedding day, and managed her team professionally. (They even brought us food/drinks while we were taking photos after the ceremony!) Our guests loved the food, so minus the few stressful hiccups in the final weeks, we’re very happy we spent the money to use TYTC.

My husband was VERY particular about what food was served at our wedding and we were really happy with the meals we chose. Plenty of our guests complimented the food and the service that was provided! Cheryl has several years of experience in the field which made planning our wedding a pleasant and easy experience. Cheryl made sure our evening went as planned as well as made sure we took time to sit down and eat our food (something that plenty of brides told me they forgot to do during their wedding)! I highly recommend To Your Taste Catering and the expertise you get from working with Cheryl.

was. They made sure my husband and I were taken care well at the wedding and they also made sure we ate... they even save us food to take home after the wedding. When I was going around the tables to greet guest everyone said how great was the food. I doubt the any of the food was wasted or thrown away. The desserts were spectacular as well. I am super thankful to Lacey who was always available and help me feel less stress about the wedding :0) and Javier is super amazing too. I would recommend using this company. Every penny you spend with them is worth it. I will use them for any event I have going forward!! Love them.

er. From the very beginning this company amazed me. I was finishing up school and the consultants would work around my schedule (sometimes very late at night after work) to ensure that I was completely satisfied with my menu! I can't even count the number of proposals I requested because I was on a very strict budget - but the team never complained! We looked at various caterers and nothing came close to the quality and the prices of TYTC! Our tasting was a full blown meal and then some! We got dessert we never asked to taste as well as take home bags so we could give our family a sneak peak of the food! Once the day came closer we ended up working with Cheryl who is an absolute doll! She worked around our crazy schedule and made the time and the trip to meet us at our venue. She ended countless questions quickly and without complaint. Cheryl was seriously the icing on the cake! She personally made sure that everything went flawlessly and it absolutely did! I would very much recommend this company to anyone and everyone!

we knew we needed to serve biryani at the wedding. But we also wanted to serve food that would be familiar and comfortable for the non-Pakistani guests. Shana and her team of (South American) chefs listened to what we wanted and tried to make the perfect biryani. They put in so much effort and went out of their way, even going to our favorite spot for biryani and trying to replicate that recipe. We were so pleased with their effort and how easy it was to work with Shana, that we decided to hire them for the wedding even though they weren’t able to make the biryani how we wanted. They ended up outsourcing that piece of our menu to our favorite place- and this actually saved us money. The rest of the meal they prepared was masterful. Our guests loved the beef, potatoes, and green beans. The vegetarians were happy with the Portobello mushroom dish. And all the guests raved about the desserts. The soup shooters and mini crab cakes we served during the cocktail hour were also a huge hit! Beyond just preparing wonderful food, presenting it on beautifully laid out tables, and being very accommodating of our requests and our budget limitations, Shana and her team provided wonderful service to our guests throughout the wedding day. They also made sure that we, as the bride and groom, had the chance to sample all the food we had spent so much time and energy (and money) selecting! They sent food to our dressing rooms, full plates to our sweetheart table, and even packed us with biryani and dessert in our getaway car. We highly recommend TYT as a caterer.
