n to life, and our guests are still raving about his ability to cater to our musical needs. It was certainly no small task mixing R&B, Bachata, Reggaeton, Soca, Dancehall, and other genres, but he absolutely nailed it. It was a very diverse crowd (120 guests), but everyone loved it!
Our photographers, Norman and Jennifer, were equally amazing. They captured every moment beautifully and made us feel completely at ease. Their guidance, professionalism, and willingness to go above and beyond their roles played a huge part in bringing our wedding dream to life. We're so excited to see the final pictures, and we loved having them as part of our vendor team!
We upgraded to include the audio phonebook (which was a hit), up lighting, and the dancing-on-the-cloud effect! All of these helped elevate our wedding and really wow our guests! Our friend group has been to numerous weddings over recent years, and our wedding is being talked about as the best wedding some people have ever been to! This is of course, thanks to the Toast Team among our other booked vendors!
The whole booking process was great as well! You do have to dedicate time to filling out planning forms, but once done, you can work directly with the booked team. We cut it a bit close with the timing for a few aspects, but the Toast Team worked with us and secured everything leading up to the day. They are a very responsive, caring, and professional company to work with. The event follow-up was also welcomed, and they made every effort to accommodate our wants and needs. Highly recommend!

call to dinner. He did a fantastic job emceeing throughout the night, from our couple's entrance to first dance to dinner, speeches, parent dances, opening up the dance floor, anniversary dance, etc.
Toast’s planning process is thorough, which we appreciated. Their forms let you specify everything from must-play and do-not-play songs to music for very specific moments like cake cutting, last dance, getaway, etc.
Mark asked how we wanted him to approach the playlist—whether to stick exactly to what we provided, use it as a guideline, or take full creative control. We used it as a guideline (pulling a lot from guest RSVP song requests), and he did a great job reading the room and building on that.
Our group was a mix of Latino and non-Latino guests, mostly millennials (around our age, ~30) with some older guests as well, and he blended everything so well—current songs, throwbacks, and different genres.
Mark himself was personable, professional, and great on the mic. He kept the energy exactly where we wanted it all night. We also had a call with him the week before the wedding to go through all the details. He worked with us on exact timing—starting and fading songs for our entrance, first dance, and parent dances at just the right moments, and walked through cues for entrances and transitions so everything felt seamless.
Our guests commented on how great the DJ was, and the dance floor stayed full and lively. If anything, we maybe could have had a few more slow songs since we had a lot of couples—but that was totally on us since we specifically asked to keep the energy up, and that’s exactly what he delivered.
Could not recommend Mark and Toast Entertainment more!

He simplified our planning and learned the styles of music we wanted to play by allowing us to send him our playlists directly in addition to filling out the planning form.
Although my song to walk down the aisle wasn’t playing as I began my walk and I had to stop and request that my coordinator communicate with the DJ and some of our entrances were awkwardly timed since the music wasn’t playing yet when we entered even though we had already been announced, our guests definitely had a great time and those were small issues in the grand scheme of things.

at our tables and unfortunately, they weren't working, so Bob came up with this idea to have one of our phones with a screenshot of our Venmo and to have it there by the welcome table to have guests scan it. He made the announcement a couple of times, I definitely wouldn't have been able to think of that, due to continuing to celebrate that day and what not, I would have just said well I guess we can't do it, but Bob came to the rescue! He handled everything so well. My husband and I loved working with him, and I strongly recommend him!

Bruce, was great. He was very nice and passionate about his work. The only reason I deducted a star was because I had requested my ceremony song to have the first 30 seconds removed and it was not, which was a disappointing start. I also requested our first dance song to be cut off at a certain point, and it was not shortened. Of course, the DJ stopped the song once we stopped dancing, but all of this was communicated prior to the event so it just felt like we weren't really heard. But in the grand scheme of things, only minor issues.

refunded our entire DJ contract following our discussion and was very apologetic. We added a photobooth with them last minute and the attendant, Stephan, was sweet and helpful. Our backdrop we requested was missing for a portion of the reception, but the Toast DFW photo team did their best to make it right. Most all communication with the Toast concierge team was pleasant and if I were just rating those people, they’d get 5/5.
Unfortunately, I cannot say the same for the DJ assigned to us on our wedding day (Ang) after our original DJ could not fulfill the contract with Toast. I wouldn’t want another couple to have the same experiences that we did just because the DJ is such a big part of a wedding. We still had a great day overall because we chose to enjoy ourselves and deal with issues the next day, but there were several key errors that couldn’t be overlooked.
The biggest issue we had was that Ang played an advertisement over the speakers to all of our guests during our ceremony processional. Even worse, never mentioned it to my husband or I directly and instead we found out from our guests and day-of-coordinators. For such an egregious error, I feel like an apology was the right thing to do even if it couldn’t be changed. Also, the ceremony is the most serious and shortest part of a wedding and it made us really sad that this was a flawed part of our special day. Overall, we found Ang to be unprepared. We filled out forms to disclose our preferences with services like no song requests, a do not play song list, specific songs for specific parts of the night, etc. and a lot of those preferences were not honored after we spent a lot of time doing the forms as requested.
Toast DJ services was the only vendor I regretted choosing for my wedding day.

Leading up to the big day, Vance was so professional and attentive. He even scheduled a detailed call the week of the wedding to go over all of our song choices and make sure the flow of the night was exactly what we wanted. Everything ran perfectly, and the music couldn’t have been better. Highly recommend Vance if you want a fun, seamless, and unforgettable dance floor experience!

DJ Rick got on a call with us to walk through all our important songs and the vibe we were going for. He had such a great energy and engaged with the crowd, which we loved! nd he was awesome. He had a great attitude, very professional and friendly, and he did exactly as we requested while also managing some impromptu moments very well. For instance, when one of our activities ran over the alotted time (a game that was only supposed to take one song but people are slow), he looped the song without a hitch and no one noticed, so we completed the game and everybody had a great time.
He followed all our instructions but knew what to do to keep the crowd hype and make the evening fun (including playing a song request one of my friends requested as a prank... It was a very funny moment so I'm glad he went along with it!)
He worked hard to get everyone's names right, which we very much appreciated. He was on time and knew how to coordinate with the videographer to make special moments, like our Big Exit.
Toast obviously has a great process set up, and our DJ was clearly experienced. They were easy to work with throughout the process, from the start to the very end. Highly recommend!

pecially helpful—he answered all of our questions clearly and helped us feel more prepared and at ease going into the day.
Damien did a great job playing the songs we had included on our playlist and was flexible when a few things didn’t go exactly to plan. He kept everything running smoothly and adapted as needed without any issues.
Two moments that stood out in particular were the bridal entrance and our first dance—both were timed perfectly and played exactly how I had pictured them. It meant a lot that those key moments went so smoothly.
Toast Entertainment was also a very cost-effective option, and we felt the overall experience and quality were still very solid. If you’re looking for a straightforward, reliable DJ service with good communication, Damien is a great choice.

oned active dance floor; Toast willingly facilitated multiple calls for us to vet their operators. We ended up paying a small extra charge to lock in William Brown for his DJ services; William did a great job listening to our plan, respectfully offering additional ideas of his own, and then executing flawlessly on the big day. As mentioned above, we also purchased Toast’s photo booth product. The photos turned out great and the booth drew more utilization than we’d anticipated, so Toast went 2/2 on their service deliveries at our wedding. I believe we also purchased uplights which were tasteful and non-distracting. Toast runs a useful online portal which made it easy for us to communicate significant details about our wedding (including a wide variety of music choices) without lots of phone calls. In summary, we definitely recommend Toast Entertainment for high-quality equipment, big day execution, and start-to-finish professionalism.
