I do want to start by saying that our DJ, Jeriyah, was very kind and professional on a personal level. However, there were multiple issues during the event that significantly impacted our experience.
Despite clearly communicating details beforehand through meetings and the Vibo app, several important instructions were not followed. Members of our bridal party were announced incorrectly and not in the format we requested. A flower girl who had gone home sick was still announced after we specifically asked for her not to be. During speeches, one of my bridesmaids was incorrectly introduced as the matron of honor even after confirming the correct names moments earlier.
There were also several awkward moments caused by repeated use of a horn/foghorn sound effect throughout the night, including during meaningful moments like our first dance. This was never discussed with us beforehand and felt very out of place for our wedding atmosphere.
The flow of the reception itself was also disappointing. Some songs we specifically requested were never played, important announcements for our photobooth and audio guestbook were never made, and the dance floor energy was inconsistent throughout the night. We fully understand that not every song will keep everyone dancing, but we expected a professional DJ to be able to read the room and adjust accordingly. Multiple guests commented during and after the wedding that everything was wonderful except for the DJ experience.
We were also disappointed that we did not find out who our DJ would be until only eight days before the wedding. We were told we would be paired with someone who matched our vision and personality, but ultimately it felt more based on availability than compatibility.
Overall, there were simply too many mistakes and overlooked details for such an important day. While we appreciate the kindness and professionalism shown personally, the execution did not align with the expectations that were set for us.
The only reason I am giving 2 stars instead of 1 is because the company did send a thoughtful apology email afterward acknowledging our concerns. I do appreciate the response and professionalism afterward, even though it does not change the experience we had on our wedding day.

ceived an email with access to their app...when we did meet he told us about how to use it and walked us through all the information they were asking for. It is a very in depth app and can seem overwhelming at first, but once we started going through we realized how thorough and helpful it all was. Anytime we had a question Alex was quick to answer and help.
DJ Dom who we ended up working with on the day of the wedding was phenomenal!! He met with us after the ceremony and before the reception got started to see if we had any questions. When it came time to start introducing people (parents, wedding party, us) into the reception he got all the guests hyped up, and he made us even more excited to get out there and start the fun. All our guests couldn't stop raving about how good, and fun, Dom was.

About two weeks before the wedding, he let us know he’d need to assign another DJ and assured us we’d have a chance to connect with the new DJ beforehand, but that call never happened. We met our assigned DJ, Meshach, for the first time on the day of our wedding.
Meshach was friendly, professional, and kept the dance floor full all night — our guests had a great time and the overall energy was fantastic. That said, we were disappointed that several of our “must play” songs were skipped, even after we had our wedding party ask him multiple times to go back to the request list. One of our chosen songs was also played as an instrumental version by mistake. The open dancing portion leaned more toward crowd requests and generic party tracks than the specific vibe we had curated.
Overall, the night was still fun and the DJ delivered a lively performance, but stronger communication before the event and closer attention to our "must play" songs would have made the experience five-star worthy.

ur wedding, so we were a little nervous going into our wedding day without having met our DJ. But Dom was really communicative and flexible as our day-of schedule was changing last minute.
The online portal where we input all our song requests was really easy to use and made the process very helpful. We we surprised though how much we needed to decide, not only specific songs for basically every moment, but a lot of other details as well. Maybe some brides like having this much control but I would have liked if I could have been a little more hands off.
Overall, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Dom and Toast to That. We had such a great experience!

He operates all of his questions and song choices through an app. He’s very quick on email and does an amazing job of communicating deadlines, helping with questions and keeping you organized. I told Alex how much of a mood listener I am with music and how it’s easy to rule things out than it is for me to make decisions on what I do want. By the time the day came, I basically took a “forget it, we’re trusting the process and the professional” and gave Alex full creative control. I did have a few (a lot) of do not plays and some songs that we wanted to hear at whatever point throughout the night, other than that I gave him almost nothing. I still don’t know how he did it, but Alex managed to make the perfect playlist for my wedding. The music was absolutely amazing, I got endless compliments from guests about how good it all was, and it was like he was in my head because he knew what I needed and wanted to hear before I could even tell you what it was. You can trust Alex with all of your music needs, he will not let you down in the slightest!
