Why aren’t there more stars than just 5?! Todd, you deserve at least 10 stars for the work you did for us! As an event planner, I’ve worked with numerous wedding cake venders and you are in a league all your own! You take such pride in doing every cake from start to finish and it shows in your work. So many companies have gotten so big that the emotion and passion is a bit blurred but the cake you did for my clients was pure perfection. You can trust that I will be using you more and more! Bravo, my friend!

Todd! You are a genius! My husband and I have followed your work for a while and when it came to selecting a cake for our wedding, we knew you were the one. The only issue was that we do not live in NYC and our wedding was here in San Diego... we didn’t care and it was the best decision we made for our reception! Not only was your cake moist, flavorful and bountiful but your presentation was...well...there are no words that we can express that compliment the beauty of your artistry. The crazy thing is, you were able to create our cake that fed 150/ppl out of a kitchen you’d never seen before and the flowers! HOW DID YOU DO IT! It was flawless and we thank you so much. If anyone wishes to have a cake made by Todd, and you don’t live in NYC, DO IT! He travels and he’s really really good!

My husband and I would like to say something about Todd. We had planned our wedding for two years and had every detail placed to perfection. The one detail we were taking our time with was the cake. In the first year of our planning we had never heard of Todd Kennedy Cakes but then a miracle happened! This December, we were getting a little worried that we weren’t finding exactly what we were looking for and then he just appeared on The Knot’s listings! What caught our eyes were his flowers that are made from sugar! Minds blown! We also noticed that his cakes appeared polished and carefully constructed. Todd did not let us down when it came to the final product. Working with Todd was a true delight. During our meetings with him, we could tell how passionate he was about his art. His work reflects his passion from the taste all the way to the presentation in final product. Our guests are still contacting us and telling us how beautiful the cake was and how they stare are the photos of it. We cannot thank you enough, Todd. Thank you, Todd! My fiancé and I are so glad that we used you for our engagement party cake. We wanted something small but still impressive enough both visually and in taste. Your sugar work really blew us away and we would love to continue working with you for our wedding cake, there really isn’t any other way! You’re truly an artist and a rare talent that the world needs to see more of ASAP. The combination of flavors used (Aztec Mexican Milk Chocolate Cake with spiced ganache and Mexican vanilla buttercream with a hint of Spicy chili) really made the room buzz! We cannot say enough about our experience with Todd at Todd Kennedy cakes. While searching through a litany of wedding cake designers in Manhattan, my husband and I were overwhelmed by the amount of talent in this city. A few names we were very familiar with and had reputations that I knew all of our friends and peers would be impressed should we had chosen them. Reputations aside, we saw Todd’s work and we both said to each other “this guy is going to be huge one day and we should talk to him and see what he’s like!” Boy are we glad we did! Todd agreed to come to our apt for our consultation and tasting. Each sample was carefully presented with our pre-ordered specifictations. He does not have a standard list of flavors because he is custom but he told us of the range of flavors of buttercream, mousse, ganaches, cake textures and was very accommodating to our needs. My husband loves super sweet cakes and I love a light cake so Todd was able to prepare a cake that satisfied our sweet (and not-so-sweet) teeth! As for design.... we decided to go with Todd because of his far superior abilities in sculpting sugar flowers. As far as we are concerned, he is the best out there and the flowers he created for us were even more stunning in person than any of his photos in his galleries! I’m still in awe of walking into our reception! THAT is another experience I will never forget. As my groom and I entered the reception hall blind-folded, the unveiling of the cake was so incredible that I instantly began to cry! Although Todd ruined my mascara, he made up for it by creating the best centerpiece to our reception a girl could ask for and created the most complimented and photographed object of the evening! With such artistry, you should expect that Todd Kennedy Cakes is a little above the mark in price, but you definitely get what you pay for and if this is your one shot at a fairytale wedding cake, let me assure you from personal experience, it is worth it! Todd Kennedy’s cakes are a feast for the eyes and the palette. The photos of his work don’t do justice to seeing his sugar flowers in person. The sculpted details in each blossom are nothing short of mind boggling, and the elegant sophistication of his design created the perfect centerpiece to our successful celebration. Our guests are still raving about it, but I’m still craving just one more slice! It was a cake almost too beautiful to eat, but of course we all devoured this supremely moist chocolate cake with it’s subtle hints of chilies and cinnamon paired with a sublime Mexican vanilla Swiss buttercream that satisfied all our foodie friends! Thank you Todd!

I was completely blown away by my Todd Kennedy wedding cake! It's hard enough to plan an entire wedding, but then to have to come up with a cake design as well was daunting. Enter Todd. He spoke with my husband about my likes, our wedding and what inspired me and then completely designed our cake. It was all a surprise to me, as I knew absolutely nothing about the cake until I saw it at the reception. To me, what sets Todd apart is his talent at getting to know the couple and being able to create a work of art that expresses who they are. I'm glad that we trusted Todd's artistic vision because I could not have imagined anything so perfect, so beautiful and so me.

My wife and I had a very small and intimate wedding, so we had no need for a large elaborate wedding cake. But the magic Todd worked with our modest 2 tier cake was unbelievable. The top tier was a tall round cake and the bottom was a decent sized Pentagon. Rich, indulgent Mexican chocolate flavored. But what Todd did to the outside of the cake I'll never forget. Hundreds, and I mean hundreds of different shades of white and blue mosaic tiles placed all over the two tiers. The way the colors melded together is something I'll never forget. We took a ton of pictures but it was so stunning we don't need a single one to remember Todds cake. And to top it all off he presented my wife with a sugar flower version of a red Dahlia that I swear no one could tell it was made of sugar. I would give Todd way more than 5 stars if they would let me. Highly recommend.

I wish there was a way to give Todd more than 5 stars! I was in a possition no bride ever wants to be in, 2 months out from my wedding my baker backed out and said they would no longer do my cake. I was devistated and had no idea where to turn. Being in the industry, I was lucky enough that a fellow professional knew Todd and got me in contact with him. It took one phone call and not only was he all in to help, he was so encouraging and made me excited about my cake again! What I got was not just a cake, it was an absolute masterpiece. My husband and I met with Todd and talked about our day and told him to do what he was inspired to, and I would not have done it any other way. If you choose Todd, let him be creative- you will not be disappointed! I cannot thank Todd enough for not only saving the day, but giving me a masterpiece I will treasure for a lifetime!!
