Tom Bruhl Music

st all around an amazing guy and AMAZING at what he does. We had so much fun with Tom throughout the planning process & the wedding! During the planning process, he was extremely responsive throughout and always answered any of our questions very quickly! Tom played guitar & sang during our ceremony (his voice gives me GOOSEBUMPS, seriously!), he did our uplighting for the reception (which we also loved!!) and he MC'd and DJ'd (and even sang more!) the entire night away - without mispronouncing one name too (some of the last names of those in our bridal party are tough!)! We sent Tom a long list of songs we liked for the playlist at our wedding and he took it and came up with a setlist that had all of our guests on the dance floor the ENTIRE night. Our guests are STILL raving about him, how great he was and how much fun they had out on the dance floor. You can tell he is the absolute BEST in the business and I am still mind-blown at the amazing deal you get by booking this truly one-man-band. Tom did not stop entertaining the guests from start to finish, whether it was ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, reception - he was non-stop! Everything about Tom was truly perfect on our wedding day! There are so many DJs out there, but there is only one Tom!!!!! Don't miss out on booking him! He won't let you down!!

date our requests. He definitely knows what he’s doing when it comes to making sure everyone is having an amazing event. I highly recommend the fusion of live music along with dj-ing, Tom’s skills on the numerous instruments he plays and vocals are incredible.

t the ambience for the guests, he played a song for me as I walked down the aisle as requested. He played a variety of instruments and songs throughout the reception, and really kept the party going late night, reading the room and catering to the crowd!! He helped support the flow and timeline of our wedding by making announcements when appropriate. He really did a fantastic job!

deal with the flow of the event. He went above and beyond as a DJ. I highly recommend!

rsonable and professional. Moreover, he is truly one of the most gifted musicians I have ever met; he plays multiple instruments, sings, and records his own background music plus he DJs! We gave him a list of our favorite songs which he wove beautifully throughout our event. EVERYONE at the party commented how wonderful he is. You can't go wrong hiring Tom!

e found Tom, we were so excited by the opportunity to have both live music (acoustic guitar for our ceremony, a variety of instruments during cocktail hour, incredible voice and instruments throughout the reception) as well as a great DJ for the dance portion of the night! Our guests were so pleasantly surprised and loved cheering him on. We were also able to get custom colored uplighting through Tom at a fraction of the price offered by our venue. We are so happy we chose Tom to provide music for our wedding day!

ncing a huge priority to me and my husband but a whole half of my family is Hispanic- the stakes for a good dance floor were very high. It also threw in the twist of wanting to mix in Spanish songs throughout the night in a way that accommodated my family but also kept all the guests on the dancefloor and Tom did this perfectly. I gave him a list of Spanish songs, mostly ones from Colombian artists from my moms childhood- he already had most of them and made sure to get the ones that he didn’t. We are still getting compliments on him from our September wedding, my one friend passionately prefers bands for weddings and she told us he was the only DJ she’s ever loved at a wedding- he was that much of a stand out. I planned a very detail oriented wedding and Tom rolled with every punch with grit and grace. I had many different moments planned throughout the reception- a song dedicated to our college friends with Pittsburgh terrible towels pulled out from behind Toms booth and handed out, an announcement for my husband and I’s “guilty pleasure” song of the night, Tom also learned our first dance song Wonderwall, recorded a back track to it and played the guitar and sang it live and then got all our guests to join in singing the final verse. Hours and hours and hours of extra work that he didn’t even charge us extra for. The pinnacle of all of this is that at one point in time I had the crazy idea to play the saxophone to a song during the reception, I used to play but haven’t picked one up in a while and when I did my sax was broken so it never worked out but when I told Tom this idea he was so enthusiastic and on board he even offered to let me use his sax if I brought my own mouthpiece and then MINUTES after we hung up the phone he sent me the sheet music written out to the song I had wanted to play. I was blown away. Tom was so stand out professional and easy to work with that even our wedding venue noticed and the owner told us they wanted to put him on their recommended vendor list because of how professional he was to work with and how incredible his service was. Seriously do not hesitate to book Tom, you will not regret it!

om's talent, versatility, and his ability to engage the crowd left everyone in awe. One of the most impressive aspects of Tom's performance was his live instrument skills. Who would have thought you'd hear Jethro Tull being played on a flute at a wedding? Our ceremony music was done on acoustic guitar, live. He switched to sax for cocktail hour. His ability to seamlessly transition between DJ-ing and playing live instruments added a unique and unforgettable touch to the entire event. The way he effortlessly moved from modern hits to classic tunes was like watching a musical chameleon in action. But Tom is not just a talented musician; he's a true entertainer. His energy was infectious, and he had an uncanny knack for reading the crowd. He knew exactly when to crank up the tempo to get everyone on the dance floor and when to slow things down for sentimental moments. The playlist was a perfect blend of old and new, catering to guests of all ages and musical tastes. I can't count how many times I heard guests say, "I haven't danced like this in years!" And “Where did you find the DJ?!! He’s amazing!!!” Tom made our wedding night feel even more like a magical, once-in-a-lifetime experience. His passion for music and his commitment to creating the perfect atmosphere were evident throughout the evening. Tom's enthusiasm was contagious, and it made everyone feel like they were a part of something truly special. In addition to his musical prowess, Tom's professionalism and attention to detail were remarkable. He worked closely with us to ensure that our vision for the night came to life. His equipment was top-notch, his lighting setup was spectacular and the sound quality was crystal clear. Tom Bruhl didn't just DJ a wedding; he helped create an unforgettable evening that left a lasting impression on every single guest. If you want your wedding to be a night to remember, filled with music that touches the soul and an atmosphere that radiates pure joy, then Tom Bruhl is the DJ you need. He's not just a DJ; he's a magician who weaves music into the tapestry of your special day, making it truly magical. Bravo, Tom, for an incredible performance and thank you from the heart for making our wedding night a memorable one!

of instruments (singing, guitar, flute, saxophone)?! -Tom walked around the room during dinner playing sax next to guest tables which was a huge hit! -Tom expertly blended the transitions from one song to the next during our wedding processionals. -Tom kept a huge crowd on the dance floor all night long, playing hits for the whole range of age groups we had there! -You cannot go wrong with Tom! He created spectacular music entertainment all night long!

jazz flute. On the organizational side, he was incredibly professional, accommodated all of our requests (musical and otherwise), and kept the night running smoothly. He is an excellent communicator, highly available by both phone and email, and seeing how detailed-oriented he was relieved a lot of stress for us In the weeks leading up to the wedding. He has our highest recommendation.

the Knot and he managed to go above and beyond and exceed them in every way! From the first communication, Tom was kind, professional and calm, and I knew he is someone we would want to have at our wedding. He worked with me to select songs, was flexible with changes, and was able to provide recommendations and help alleviate planning stress because he has so much experience with weddings. Tom performed acoustic during our ceremony, sang & played a variety of instruments (including a requested solo during the father daughter dance) and DJ'ed hit after hit, keeping our dance floor packed the entire night. I was actually sore from dancing so hard! The guests at our wedding were raving about Tom's incredible talent and were so hyped by his performances. To this day, we have had people reaching out about how memorable Tom was. If you are considering booking Tom, do it!!!! You won't regret it and you and your guests will be amazed!

and our guests were raving about him all night. We’re so grateful we booked him even though we had never heard him play before our wedding. He really went above and beyond and was so easy to work with!!

nd behold, the first person he sees is Tom! Truly a one man band as well as DJ. Tom was genuinely kind and very receptive to all our of abit interesting requests. People RAVED about his musical performances during the cocktail hour and his talent! Even during the ceremony he went between using the DJ equipment and musical equipment seamlessly. The absolutely only thing I wish was different was that I wish he didn't save 20 of our "must-play" songs to the end. I understand why it worked and kept people on the dance floor I just wish we got to dance to those specific songs longer than shorter cuts of them. But in the end, everything was fabulous and everyone had a wonderful time! We highly recommend him to anyone!

y extra special. He has great energy and was the perfect choice for us. If you are looking for more than a DJ, I would book Tom!

favorite songs and integrated them seamlessly into his sets. He had the dance floor rocking the entire night and really blew everyone away with his talent and multiple instruments. We continue to have so many people rave about his performance after the wedding, it really made for such an incredible day.

ul! He’s kind, responsive, and incredibly talented. Whether he was playing his guitar while we walked down the aisle, singing along with classics, or jamming away on his saxophone, my guests loved watching her perform. 10 out of 10 would recommend. ☺️

d man be a part of my special day.

o work with especially since we were planning this long distance. He's got a wide repertoire for both his roles as musician, where he sings and plays multiple instruments, and as DJ. He read the room perfectly and played songs that everyone enjoyed...and no one wanted to leave. All I heard from our guests were raves!

vered!!! Our guests could not stop raving about him and it made for such a fabulous atmosphere for everyone. Every wedding needs Tom.

ted for each and every part of the day. He was professional and made wonderful suggestions for certain songs like my bridesmaids walking down the aisle, etc. Tom was flexible when we made changes and responsive the days leading up to the wedding. During the ceremony he played some acoustic songs and then at the reception, our guests were all so impressed when he would go back and forth between DJ and live music. It really added something extra special to our day. He played all the songs we "required" and many from our "requested" list. He also abided by our request to not take song requests from guests and followed our "do not play" list. The dance floor was never empty and he announced everything perfectly. Everything we had discussed ahead of time he followed through with. Besides all of that, Tom is just a nice and down to earth guy! We ended up seeing Tom DJ at our friend's wedding 2 weeks later and he again, impressed all the guests and the dance floor was a hit!

with the music. Throw in some saxophone and jazz flute during cocktail hour and dinner and he was a highlight of the wedding for everybody. He was also extremely easy to work with and flexible when our wedding venue changed a few months before. Would highly recommend all around.

pping a beat. He keeps your guests out on the dance floor! Don't look further, he is the best!

ments. He seamlessly transitioned from his guitar, to the sax, to the flute. He was an amazing showman and entertained the guests all night. On top of that Tom was able to successfully play a list of traditional music from my country and seamlessly transitioned from one to the other. My guests were beaming and dancing all night. We are so thankful for Tom's help along the way, his professionalism, communication, knowledge, and passion.

s which really gives the wedding an amazing vibe. He gives the option to play sax, guitar, sing and DJ, truly does it all! We loved having him play the sax during cocktail hour, everyone was blown away by how it all sounded. If you're looking for a DJ, who does more than just DJ, look no further! We 100% would recommend Tom to anyone (in-fact, two of our friends had him at their wedding because of us and they loved him too!)

hone during the cocktail hour, and electric guitar plus his amazing voice during the reception. After dinner, his DJ skills shone, playing all the faves! The dance floor was full all night! When he plays an instrument and sings, he is actually using a pre-recorded backtrack of his own other instruments and makes the song sound exactly like the record! He learned a particular song for us that he had never played and pre-recorded the back tracks in order to play that during the ceremony. When we were deciding whether to use Tom, he invited us to see his performance at a local bar, so we got to witness his talents prior to making our decision. Best decision we ever made. We decided that our investment in Tom was the best, since for us, a great dance floor is the sign of a great wedding, and Tom brought all the great music and feelings to the crowd! Hiring Tom will be the best decision YOU will ever make! He's the BEST!

ance and DJ skills were amazing and he really knows how to engage with the crowd. We would recommend him in a heartbeat!

rocess; with covid postponements, that was 2.5 years! He provided uplighting, emcee'd the night, and of course provided musical accompaniment for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and dance party! Everyone, all ages, had a blast on the dance floor. As a couple having just planned a wedding, the best compliment I can give to a vendor is that you don't even need to think about them -- they've got it handled. No regrets.

Tom is about performing with his own instruments as well as being a DJ! Tom did an amazing job at our wedding, playing the sax and walking around during cocktail hour and then also DJing all the best tunes during the reception. So many of our guests are still raving about him to us! Absolutely recommend!!!

DJ skills on top of that. He is the best of both worlds and he provided exactly what we were looking for. He helped us figure out the best songs to use for our ceremony and performed them beautifully. Some friends that watched the live stream of our ceremony thought it had been a recording....he's that good! We gave him a handful of songs that we wanted to hear through out the reception and he took that and flew with it. Just from those couple of songs he knew what we liked and created an incredible playlist for the evening. And to top it all off he even helped me whip up a surprise song for my husband. Tom was also incredibly flexible and we were so very lucky to have him. Due to the pandemic we had a last minute change of venue and he was happy to travel to our new venue destination. People always say the best things you need at a wedding are music and food. I promise you, you will not be disappointed if you pick Tom for your music needs on your wedding day!

ul instrumental covers for the bride to walk down too that hit everyone right in the feels. He’s clearly been doing this a long because just before we had our first kiss, the photographers memory card filled up and we had to pause. Instead of awkward silence, unprompted Tom started to play his guitar and helped make it seem less awkward. Do your self a favor and book this guy. There’s are a 1000 DJs who just hit shuffle on Spotify, but if that’s what you want why not just rent speakers? Tom will read the room and make sure everyone is enjoying themselves.

at we had very different music taste but creating a playlist that wasn't all over the place was seeming impossible for us. We needed help and that's when we found Tom. He was super flexible when we had to move venues and I loved his detailed emails that explained everything. On the day of the wedding we had to change our cocktail hour location due to rain and he did it with no problem at all. Everyone loved the live music during cocktail hour, it provided such a cool vibe to start the night. He played all of my husbands and I's favorite songs at the right moments. He checked in with us first if someone wanted to say a speech or wanted to request a song to make sure we were ok with it. Tom got people out on the dance floor and kept them there! He was even accommodating when I wanted to get dancing even before the cake was cut! He was so very professional to work with which I loved since I work in the theatre/events industry. I didn't have to worry about anything going wrong with him because he made me feel so confident in his abilities. (Again those detailed emails, swoon!) Honestly wish I could have my own events all the time so I could hire Tom over and over again!! My husband and I had such a fun and amazing wedding. 1000% hire Tom, one of the best decisions I made for my wedding.

kept the dancing going and played a wonderful variety of songs. I missed things like the music at the time when people were arriving, because we were up in the bridal suite, but people told me he did a wonderful job. He has a fun personality, too! Everyone has been telling us how great he was. My daughter hired him without even seeing him or hearing him in person, just based on recommendations.and his website

processionals), sax during the cocktail hour, then played live music/DJ/MC'd the reception - it was absolutely incredible! Our guests were raving about his presence throughout the entire day and our experience in planning was stress-free. He was extremely easy to work with in the lead-up/planning and helped ensure that our big day was just as magical as we had envisioned. Book Tom!!

f DJing and performing at the reception. Everyone we talked to gushed about how amazing he was. We have been to many weddings, and not once have we seen the guests mob the dance floor after the first dance. He knows the right songs and when to play them, and our wedding would not have been the same without him. If you can book him, do it. You will not be disappointed. When we think back on the best day of our lives, we think of Tom Bruhl.

ot of front-end work on my playlist and first dance music. And the wedding music was superb. He’s a great singer, plays multiple instruments and knew just what music to play when to keep the vibe just right during dinner and dance floor packed. People kept coming up during the wedding to ask Who IS this guy? Best ever!!! Weeks later I’m still getting compliments. 10 stars.

m apart from other DJs is his mix of recorded and live music. Booking Tom is booking a DJ and band all in one! We received a ton of comments from our guests about how much they enjoyed his performance. Absolutely recommend!

nd background music tracks that he prerecorded in his home studio himself. The music experience and atmosphere he creates is truly unparalleled. He is really approachable and a pleasure to work with. You can trust that he will work with you to make the wedding you want at an affordable price. Tom is definitely a rare find. I strongly recommend his service!

lays instruments, can bring uplighting, and exceeded our expectations in all areas. He even gave us a couple of fun ideas for the bouquet toss and our last song. Would highly recommend!

our reception. I cannot count the number of compliments we received about his work and ability to pack the dance floor. Tom’s professionalism and responsiveness made the whole process easy. Thank you Tom for such an incredible wedding day! Doug & Jackie

ay. Tom is very organized and was always available when I had a question or concern. He worked with both of us to customize our wedding night and also gave us some very helpful tips and suggestions. He made sure the night went smoothly. Tom is very talented. He sang, played instruments, and played music that we requested. Between cocktail hour and the reception he created this amazing atmosphere and was fantastic. People can’t stop talking about how wonderful he was. He made sure to have people up on the dance floor and try to accommodate wedding guest request along with songs we wanted to play as well. He definitely made our wedding night unforgettable!

ption. He even learned the two songs I chose for my processional so that he could play them live on his guitar. We loved having the combination of a musician and DJ. So many guests raved about him, including my stepmother who performs at weddings as a professional violinist. I 100% recommend Tom!!

with the flow but also keep us on task and keep people dancing! It was an all-around awesome night and guests were raving about how much fun they had weeks later. I would hire Tom again in a heartbeat. Thanks for helping to make our day the best day ever.

im performing live -- the transition between recorded and live songs was that seamless and he was that good. We had a big group of children at the wedding, and Tom got them dancing most of the night and had some games for them to play as well. He was also great at keeping the event on track, especially for our introductions, exit, and scheduled dances. I'd hire him again any time I need music!

that his live performances seemed like a CD because there was no way that could be someone live. Tom flawlessly and eloquently played the exact professional and recessional music for us which set a great tone for the remainder of the night. During the reception, he was able to read the crowd and get a feel for the right music at the right time and played exactly what everyone needed to keep the energy going. We will 1000% recommend Tom to any and all of our closest friends and family. He was an absolute pleasure to work with and brought the quality of entertainment to a level that most people wouldn't expect for a wedding or similar event. He really played a huge part in the overall quality and enjoyment of our wedding for all of our closest friends and family.
