Tom Martin Photography

We're really happy we chose Tom when deciding on a photographer for our wedding! He did a great job with some challenging lighting conditions (our venue was dark inside with big, bright windows). He was also fantastic to work with. He arrived early and had a very professional, friendly tone with us and our guests. He worked really hard to get the shots right, even lying down on the ground to get the angle right and pulling fallen branches out of bushes to get them out of the shot. His photo editing is really great too. He seamlessly removed a crane from the background of one of our photos. In place of throwing rice, our guests blew bubbles as we exited our venue and the photos Tom got with the bubbles floating around were some of our favorites! I don't know how he managed to capture them so well. We highly recommend Tom if you're looking a wedding photographer in the Greater Baltimore area.

I found Tom to take photos of my proposal. We couldn't be more happy with how everything turned out. He came early to set up, and he was able to take wonderful photos without being seen. The best thing was, I was in contact with him the entire morning to update him on our arrival. The photos turned out fantastic. I highly recommend Tom!

While not a wedding related review, these two instances reflect the dedication and kindness that Tom puts into even the smallest detail. There was a photo I wanted to capture for my mother that was very meaningful, but lighting was making it next to impossible. When Tom saw I was struggling he quietly stepped in and within a few minutes of adjusting camera settings he did what I couldn't. The thing that sold me, though, was while talking to Tom on the phone I mentioned how I wished I could save the smudgy baby handprint on my glass coffee table. Tom asked a few questions and then gave me suggestions on how to take photos from several angles with certain camera settings. Both of these were small everyday moments that someone else would have bypassed. Tom recognized the importance to me, and that made them important to him. Most photographers you come across are going to have great examples of their work, and Tom.is no different. What makes him stand out is that you're not just a job to him. Tom cares about capturing what's important to you. It's not just the photo, it's the feeling it creates. And that's why I'll always choose Tom Martin Photography.
