I haven't gotten my pictures back from Tom yet, but I am expecting them to be great! I think he is reasonably priced for the beautiful photos that he takes and he really does a good job making you feel comfortable and taking a lot of (good) pictures throughout the evening. Each of his packages includes 2 photographers, which I thought was great because that way you know he will capture every moment.

Do not book with Tom K photography….(hard to work with, and they will charge you for photo corrections) In the beginning we negotiated a deal with our wedding photography package to include an engagement session, bridal, wedding rehearsal, and the entire wedding day with a photo booth. We started with our 1st engagement session and my husband and I and most of our family and friends did not like any of the photos. They were saying all the pictures were too kissy kissy and didn’t show my husbands face. We ended up asking Tom for another shoot because we were not happy. He gave it to us and the pictures came out so much better. When we got our proofs back he said he would fix the ones we were going to pick out for printed selection but no other corrections because apparently it’s really time consuming. That’s crazy because we are paying a lot of money. I was so overwhelmed with the wedding planning and work that I didn’t get a chance to book my bridal session, so I asked Tom if I could do it after the wedding and he said sure. I never scheduled my bridal session after the wedding because my husband and I were unhappy with the way some of our wedding pictures came out. Tom didn’t even get some of the most important shots. For example, he didn’t get a picture of my unity candle, no picture of our rings and hands together, no photo of me and my maid of honor, no picture of groom and best man, and the photos lacked the creativity that I wanted. On my wedding day he was there on time and got a lot of getting ready shots, which turned out good. Come reception time I found out he forgot the photo booth that I requested. When I asked about it Tom raised his voice at me saying “well its not here” and then he said he would give us some kind of reimbursement and what he meant by that was he would upgrade our wedding album to the big heavy one. My husband and I didn’t want that big and heavy book. We had already picked out the one we wanted. So this caused some fuss and its 9 months later and we still don’t have a resolution. They finally presented us with an online copy of our book so we could approve it and when we suggested changes they wanted to charge us. That’s insane, they are minor changes. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DO NOT BOOK TOM K PHOTOGRAPHY FOR WEDDING DAY PHOTOS.

Tom was wonderful to work with and listened to everything I had to say. He showed up early and was there for about a total of 10+ hours. He was very quick with the after wedding photos and he even helped when I had a crisis with my bustle! Our engagement pictures and bridal portraits were fabulous and the previews of the pictures I have seen are great. I can't wait to see the rest. The package was well worth the price with engagement pictures, full disc of all images, a second shooter on the day of the wedding, an engagement picture to display at the wedding and a guest book. We also used his photo booth and it was a HUGE hit. I sincerely loved working with this team and I would definitely do it again! :)

tomk was amazing to work with! He did our engagement and wedding photos, and everyone involved in our wedding had nothing but wonderful things to say. He was organized and on top of everything leading up to our big day, which was great given the stresses of planning a wedding. He also helped us stay on schedule throughout the entire wedding day. AND, of course, our photos were wonderful!
