Tom was incredible from start to finish. From the time we initially first met and had that get-to-know you consultation call to all the way up to the big day, he was excellent. Tom...
is great at communicating, planning, time managing, listening to your vision and implementing the plan. We got married in Beaver Creek, CO and he scouted out in advance incredible places with breathtaking views to take our wedding photos at. On the day of the wedding, Tom was prompt, efficient, detailed and stayed on track with our day-of schedule. He also captured all of the big, special moments (and more!) that we wanted to get on camera! Another major plus is that Tom is fun and makes you feel at ease in front of the camera. I felt very comfortable and relaxed taking photos and really enjoyed our special day. Tom takes gorgeous photos that we will treasure forever.
I haven't gotten my pictures back from Tom yet, but I am expecting them to be great! I think he is reasonably priced for the beautiful photos that he takes and he really does a goo...
d job making you feel comfortable and taking a lot of (good) pictures throughout the evening. Each of his packages includes 2 photographers, which I thought was great because that way you know he will capture every moment.
Do not book with Tom K photography….(hard to work with, and they will charge you for photo corrections)
In the beginning we negotiated a deal with our wedding photography packag...
e to include an engagement session, bridal, wedding rehearsal, and the entire wedding day with a photo booth.
We started with our 1st engagement session and my husband and I and most of our family and friends did not like any of the photos. They were saying all the pictures were too kissy kissy and didn’t show my husbands face. We ended up asking Tom for another shoot because we were not happy. He gave it to us and the pictures came out so much better.
When we got our proofs back he said he would fix the ones we were going to pick out for printed selection but no other corrections because apparently it’s really time consuming. That’s crazy because we are paying a lot of money.
I was so overwhelmed with the wedding planning and work that I didn’t get a chance to book my bridal session, so I asked Tom if I could do it after the wedding and he said sure. I never scheduled my bridal session after the wedding because my husband and I were unhappy with the way some of our wedding pictures came out. Tom didn’t even get some of the most important shots. For example, he didn’t get a picture of my unity candle, no picture of our rings and hands together, no photo of me and my maid of honor, no picture of groom and best man, and the photos lacked the creativity that I wanted.
On my wedding day he was there on time and got a lot of getting ready shots, which turned out good.
Come reception time I found out he forgot the photo booth that I requested. When I asked about it Tom raised his voice at me saying “well its not here” and then he said he would give us some kind of reimbursement and what he meant by that was he would upgrade our wedding album to the big heavy one. My husband and I didn’t want that big and heavy book. We had already picked out the one we wanted. So this caused some fuss and its 9 months later and we still don’t have a resolution.
They finally presented us with an online copy of our book so we could approve it and when we suggested changes they wanted to charge us. That’s insane, they are minor changes. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DO NOT BOOK TOM K PHOTOGRAPHY FOR WEDDING DAY PHOTOS.
Tom was wonderful to work with and listened to everything I had to say. He showed up early and was there for about a total of 10+ hours. He was very quick with the after wedding ph...
otos and he even helped when I had a crisis with my bustle!
Our engagement pictures and bridal portraits were fabulous and the previews of the pictures I have seen are great. I can't wait to see the rest.
The package was well worth the price with engagement pictures, full disc of all images, a second shooter on the day of the wedding, an engagement picture to display at the wedding and a guest book.
We also used his photo booth and it was a HUGE hit.
I sincerely loved working with this team and I would definitely do it again! :)

f everything leading up to our big day, which was great given the stresses of planning a wedding. He also helped us stay on schedule throughout the entire wedding day. AND, of course, our photos were wonderful!

ts we have are completely timeless and totally breathtaking.
Tom also traveled extremely far for both shoots and came completely prepared and was the epitome of a perfect professional. I'm extremely greatful Tom chose to work with us. We have tons of amazing pictures to remember our wedding.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
Memories and photographs are all I have left of that special day. Several brides had told me the hard truth about what to expect of your wedding day. I am about to share that truth...
with you. Your wedding day will be one of the happiest days of your life, BUT it will go by in a flash. Most everything (flowers, food, decorations) will be thrown away. Your pictures are the most important part of your wedding. My memories are even beginning to fade, and got married 4 months ago! :(
I am thrilled that I had tomK photography to capture those memories that would become more and more distant. He also captures the moments that you wont be able to see. tomK photography covers the basics. They were on time, they knew what to do, and they everywhere on the wedding day. Tom goes above and beyond the basics of a photographer. He is a true professional. Honestly, I didn't know that the church that I got married in was as beautiful as it was until I saw Tom's pictures. I really do believe that his eyes are different than most. Once I posted my pictures on facebook for my friends and family to see, I received comments like "This looks like it is from a bridal magazine" & "STUNNING".
I have a little baby girl that will be 2 very soon. Tom has also done all of my maternity through the first year of her life. One of the most proud moments as a mother was the thought of her walking down the isle. My little girl and I have had to overcome a lot together. I would tear up at the thought of her walking down the isle! Well, guess where I was? I was in the back room of the church waiting to be called up. I didn't get to see her walk down the isle. Tom knew how special these pictures would be for me. I had tons, and they were all beautiful. I was a proud mother. :)
You need a photographer that you can trust, and that understands what is most important to you. Look no further than tomK photography. It will be so wonderful to look back on those pictures of Blake and I as the years pass. Those moments stand still in the photographs of tomK.
I also have to add this.. The photobooth was SOOOOO much fun! We had some very goofy pictures, and some very sweet pictures. Some of our friends took their family pictures in the photobooth. The quality is wonderful!
Thank you tomK photography!
We received amazing service and photos that are absolutely timeless. Our engagement photos were taken from a variety of locations that Tom is familiar with, and each one was taken...
with an artistic touch. Our wedding photos are ones we will cherish forever - Tom caught some great moments that we didn't even know occurred and it made our wedding much easier to remember. We are 100% satisfied with Tom, and will definitely use him in the future as our family grows.

g, it is important to get answer and informaiton in a timely manner. Tom definately came through! The pictures were amazing. During our engagement session, we asked to wear our "Nacho Libre" mask and Tom never missed a beat. I was so impressed that he and his assistant were able to be with me and my husband on our wedding day. Tom did such a great job during the ceremony and reception. We barely noticed him which allowed for us to have a lot of candid shots. I would reccommend using Tom to anyone who wants beautiful photos that will last a lifetime. Tom's pricing is also a huge plus. You will definately get a high quality product at an affordable price. I would use Tom for any future photography needs.
His work is phenomenal! I was amazed!
Tom did our engagement photos and they came out beautifully. Very professional and creative... really helped us capture the moment.
He truly captured the essence of day.
