So lucky to have found Ebbony! In planning our San Francisco City Hall Wedding she was an invaluable resource, available when we needed her. She was easy to talk to and always had time for questions and was super patient with changes and updates. I struggled with what I thought ceremonies "had" to be like - formal, certain words etc. and Ebbony allowed me to think outside the box while still retaining the special traditions I felt important to include. Although she shared her script with us beforehand I tried to only skim it and to hear how she put our story together on our wedding day was awesome. Our guests really enjoyed the ceremony as well and remarked on Ebbony's beautiful ceremony after our wedding was long over.

We just got married at SF City Hall as out-of-towners. Ebbony could not have been more helpful in guiding us through the process (e.g., rundown of what to expect for the program, even provided directions for us to pass on to our guests to help make the arrival as smooth as possible for them). She was patient and thorough in her walkthrough of the events.
Her script was beautiful, and she was so lovely in working with us to accommodate our requests on some of the prose. Our family all remarked at how beautiful the ceremony was, and we have Ebbony to thank for her part in making it all happen. As the bride, I have to also call out how calming her presence was in the moments leading up to the ceremony start.
We both felt like we were in The Best of hands with Ebbony as our officiant. We are so glad we chose her to be part of our special day!

We got married at fairly short notice at San Francisco City Hall with a small number of family flying out for our ceremony on the Fourth Floor Balcony.
We chose Ebbony because we could see that every ceremony she hosts is a labour of love to make the day personal to the new couple. It was also important that we had an officiant that brought real energy to our small wedding - the Aussie accent and broad life experiences were a plus!
Even though we had a short turnaround time, Ebbony went into real depth from each of us to understand our relationship history and what we underpinned our love for each other. She crafted a beautiful, fully personalised ceremony and was receptive to some small tweaks we wanted to make.
Before the big day, she made sure we knew everything to expect to help manage our nerves. On the day itself, she was amazing and was able to help troubleshoot an issue (my fault!) without derailing proceedings - an absolute pro’
We couldn’t have asked for more in an officiant and it is testament that our family were talking about her role for days after the wedding’. 💒 ❤️

My fiance (now wife!) and I got married in October at SF City Hall. We booked Ebbony as our officiant and couldn't have been more pleased with how everything turned out! When it came time to book an officiant for our wedding ceremony, my husband and I knew we wanted someone with a diverse portfolio of couples, who would take the time to get to know us and our love story. We sought an officiant who could create a truly personalized ceremony script. We were thrilled to discover Ebbony on The Knot, and after our first call, we knew we wanted to book her for our special day! From the start, I could tell she was the right fit. Ebbony has a warm, inviting presence—and she’s funny too!
As we began drafting our vows, Ebbony provided a list of resources to help us brainstorm and offered sample vows for inspiration, which was a lifesaver! I was so stressed that I started having nightmares about arriving at the wedding with nothing written! I email Ebbony for help and reassured me that everything would be fine and shared advice to help relieve the anxiety and help me overcome my writers block.
A week before the wedding, she sent us the complete ceremony script for review, and I was amazed by how well she incorporated our responses from the couples questionnaire. It beautifully captured our perspectives.
In the week leading up to the wedding, Ebbony guided us through the ceremony logistics, asking several questions to ensure the flow matched our vision. The actual ceremony went flawlessly and exceeded our expectations—there wasn’t a dry eye in the crowd. We couldn’t have asked for a better officiant, who has now become a dear friend.

If you are looking for an officiant for your wedding, look no further as you have found the best one!! Ebbony was so wonderful to work with and did absolutely amazing conducting our wedding ceremony. She went above and beyond coming to our wedding ceremony rehearsal which we really appreciated. She also printed out our vows for us and brought them in nice books on the day of the wedding so we didn’t have to worry about it. Thank you so much, Ebbony!!

Ebbony did a fantastic job officiating our wedding ceremony last month! She made our ceremony truly memorable. Ebbony sent out a questionnaire to both my fiancé and I separately a few months before our wedding. We were so impressed in how she weaved our stories together and really captured the essence of how we first met and our unique love story. We got such positive feedback from our friends and family on how touching our ceremony was. Ebbony balanced just the right amount of humor and tear-jerking moments. The other notable thing that Ebbony did was to stand off to the side while she was describing our love story. It allowed for the photographer to get nice pics of us together at the alter. Ebbony was so personable and easy to work with. Her pricing was also very transparent and highly competitive with other vendors. We highly recommend Ebbony for your wedding ceremony!

Book Ebbony with confidence!!!
We booked Ebbony for a 1 hr SF City Hall Wedding about a month before the wedding. Ebbony was actually recommended to us by our photographer and luckily she was available for our date and time.
There is a reason why Ebbony was recommended by our photographer. Ebbony was very professional. She arrived to the venue more than 1hr early and helped discuss the timeline and what to expect. Ebbony also offers a preparation call before the wedding which was helpful to calm the nerves and help us understand the schedule and sequence of events. Her questionnaires helped her craft a beautiful and heart warming ceremony and truly made our day magical. Ebbony was also dressed professionally and without telling, she matched our wedding party perfectly. Afterwards, she handled the marriage license completely and simply confirmed who the witnesses would be and got their signature and sent to the county office.

I’m not sure the reviews I read could let me know how awesome Ebbony really is. Her energy is so loving, she’s funny and makes you feel like you’ve known her for years! She brought comfort when I felt a little anxious. She was so calming. Her script for our wedding was Perfect! She nailed it. I felt so much gratitude for her presence on my special day that i had to make sure we had a picture with her. It says a lot when even my parents loved her!!! Since we were having a small intimate ceremony with only our parents at SF city hall, she gave us a heads up and pointers which definitely helped.
Ebbony was the perfect officiant to my wedding and I would suggest her a thousand times over.

Ebbony was absolutely amazing! She is very detailed and truly goes above and beyond to make your ceremony personalized. She responds very quickly and is more than willing to chat with you about any questions/concerns. Ebbony was a delight and consummate professional to work with. We were honored to share our wedding journey with her.
After reviewing Ebbony's promotional materials, we decided she was the perfect fit to officiate our wedding and definitely were not disappointed. She was very easy to access, provided phone calls, zoom calls, texts, and email correspondence, and patiently walked us through the entire process exactly how her process timeline explained. From deciding what traditions we would like incorporated, through the submission of the marriage license specific to our county. She truly provided a step by step walkthrough that we greatly appreciated. She touched on everything you need for your ceremony; from suggesting special details specific to our family, to supplying her own outdoor PA system for our outdoor wedding, and working with our other vendors to insure our event went as smoothly as possible. She really went above and beyond my expectations for an officiant.
She was also very easy to work with and open to incorporate any specific request I had. Overall, I could not be happier to have hired such a kind, friendly, professional, and prepared individual. You won't be disappointed!

If you’re looking for an awesome officiant — pick Ebbony! We had a lovely civil ceremony at City Hall and everything went so smoothly and it was truly the most perfect day.

Ebbony was the officiant of our wedding on June 18th, 2023. The ceremony went so smooth with her lead, she made our relationship sound like a beautiful fairy tale. She has such a lovely voice, at the same time words coming out of her mouth were so assuring. And i love the way Ebbony looked into my eyes during her speech, it soothed my nerves and gave me strength as I was really uncomfortable standing in front of the crowd.
She not only was the one help processing our marriage license for us, she went through all my wedding details with us and made sure nothing would go wrong the day of, i would say she's one of the reasons my wedding went so smoothly that day and i can't thank her more.
If you need an officiant at your wedding ceremony, i'll definitely recommend having Ebbony, she'll be such a great support and you'll not regret having her on your big day!

Once my husband and I had decided on the ceremony that we wanted and began looking for officiants, we quickly came across Ebbony and fell in love from day 1. Her professionalism is off the charts, she is organized, and so warm and friendly. She was very clear in her communication and also was quick to respond whenever we had any questions.
When it came to the ceremony, she was an absolute joy to work with. She asked us some questions and created a wonderful ceremony script. She printed out our vows on such beautiful papers. The day of the event, she came early and helped with setting everything up and coralling the guests as we were running behind.
