Hiring Russo Photo & Film was one of the best decisions we made. Joey, Tony, and the video team were able to capture every aspect of our day without being overly intrusive. They were extremely flexible and available to capture every moment we wanted and they were incredibly kind and pleasant to work with. They accommodated all of our family portrait needs with ease. We had the best experience with them and couldn’t recommend them more to anyone looking for a photo and video team!

Tom Russo and his entire team worked on our wedding this past December. I must say, from the moment we chose this company to capture our wedding, we felt so at ease! Tom Russo has great experience with numerous venues in our area, and a phenomenal working relationship with our venue, The Palace at Somerset! It was very reassuring to know that our photographers and videographers knew the venue and the grounds prior to our big day. Tom and Marlee are very responsive to emails and inquiries, which was very helpful leading up to our wedding. The day of the wedding, the entire team came prepared and were so professional! We took full advantage of our entire venue and grounds. We had a very large bridal party and Tom easily took charge and wrangled the large group to pose and follow directions. It was a relief knowing that the team was so focused on our day and our vision. Tom is very talented, and it is so fun to see him in action -especially when you can see inspiration hitting in real time! The photographs/proofs turnaround was very fast! We were pleasantly surprised when we received the email informing us that our photos were ready! We are so happy we trusted Tom Russo Photography to capture our special day. I would truly recommend this company to anyone. They took the stress, anxiety, and worry out of the day and I am so thankful we chose this company to work with!

They charged me $10,000 to shoot my wedding. In the end, half of the footage would not play. They sent me corrupt files and when I asked for them to fix the issue, they would lot respond for 2 weeks. When they finally did, I got an email saying “footage is as is, sorry we can’t help.” They will be hearing from a lawyer pretty soon.

I cannot be happier with my photos as well as the experience. Marlee and Tom were so friendly and professional from the start. The photos were fantastic and my guests were blown away when I shared them with them! I highly recommend Tom Russo photography for any occasion, you will be thrilled that you did!

Tom and every member of his crew we interacted with were just fantastic. Best attitudes of anyone we worked with leading up to and on the day of the wedding, which was really refreshing. We decided to move forward with Tom and his team after he worked on our friends wedding a year and a half prior to ours. My husband and I are definitely not the people you find jumping in front of cameras or videos to have our photos taken - if anything - my husband usually runs away haha. We loved working with Tom because he made it less uncomfortable for us to be the center of attention and make us feel/act more candid. A list of all of the positives: ~ Our dog came with us to our engagement photo shoot and the photos we have with him will be used for years to come on holiday cards. Everybody (us included) LOVED the photos with our pup. ~ Tom knew all of the poses and researched our locations ahead of time so it was not a long, drawn out process. ~ We received our photos for our engagement & wedding shoots and video within a timely manner. They actually sent about 100 photos right after our wedding to give us a taste of what to expect. ~ The communication was on point at all times. We were the ones who did not communicate quickly and Tom was gracious with each and every delayed response. ~ I had concerns about a previous videographer he had worked with and receiving a well-edited video in a timely manner. He took about an hour out of his day to talk to me about what had happened, what he and his team learned from it and that he had cut ties with that videographer and found a new one. He made me feel very well taken care of. I cry every time I watch our video now (which we received on time). ~ They had trainees with them on the day of our wedding. As they grow their team, their team needs to be an extension of them and know exactly how Tom and Marlee create the gorgeousness they do. I LOVE the dedication to perfection and pride in the work they do. ~ Tom and Marlee also got married right after we did and you would never had known because they still made us feel like we were the most important clients throughout the process. They did send out tons of emails before their wedding day and honeymoon to let everyone know that responses would be delayed but they would get back to us as soon as they were back. Their professionalism was off the chart. My husband and I have been taking our time getting our album so we haven't selected the photos yet but should there need to be any updates, I will include them once we figure that out. They did offer to send over a surprise proof so I will probably taken Tom up on that! They made our whole process seamless and stress-free. I can't wait to use them again for future life events!

Tom Russo Photography was the best vendor decision we ever made! From the moment we met on Zoom to our engagement session and our wedding, Tom made us feel like we have known him forever, we were so comfortable. Tom is incredibly professional but also made sure we were having fun the entire time. Our photos came out absolutely beautiful and they are everything we wanted. We used Tom Russo Photography for our wedding this past September and could not be happier with our decision! We had a zoom call after seeing their work and instantly knew it was the right fit for us. Marlee took care of our engagement shoot on a freezing cold day because that’s when we could do it and was nothing short of perfect in dealing with the cold and wind going on. She still captured gorgeous photos of us and made sure to keep us warm and comfortable throughout. For our wedding we really wanted photos done that wouldn’t interfere with us enjoying our party and her and her team delivered! Everything from the start of our day to the end was perfect. Marlee was our photographer for both our engagement shoot and our wedding and she went above and beyond our expectations. It felt like taking photos with a close friend- she knew exactly what to say to get us both feeling comfortable and had clear direction and ideas for both shoots. Our wedding day ended up being rainy and Marlee was so positive, upbeat, and got AWESOME shots using our umbrellas - I love them so much- I didn’t even care that it rained! She made the whole process such a breeze, we were laughing the whole time - she is so easy to talk to! I also enjoyed that Marlee captured who we are as a couple not overly posed, natural light, and lots of fun pictures that have our personality in them. We received so many preview pictures so quickly and again couldn’t have been happier with the quality! At our wedding Marlee had a second shooter, tony, that was also amazing - my husband really enjoyed working with him. You can tell that everyone who works on this team truly loves what they do and works to give you the absolute best. I would recommend them to everyone and anyone looking for a photographer! After working with Tom at a few of our friends weddings, we knew we had to have him for our big day! In our opinion no one compared. We also had the pleasure of working with his wife Marlee on our wedding day. It was awesome to see them bounce ideas off each other and work together to get the perfect shot! I am writing this review as from the very beginning working with Tom was an absolute pleasure. My wife found Tom and asked if we could do a Zoom call after I got home from work. This was the beginning of the best wedding photography experience. From the moment we first spoke with Tom he made us feel extremely welcome. He was excited and we both said to eachother his positive outlook and personality is what made us extremely excited to have him do our Engagement and Wedding Photos. Tom always made time to talk with us, no matter what time or what questions we had, he was professional, personable, and always did whatever he could to make sure we felt comfortable and confident. The Engagement photos came out amazing, I know I speak behalf of both my wife and I when I say Tom made us look forward to taking the photos. As you can imagine or probably feel right now, wedding planning can be extremely time consuming and very stressful. Tom made sure we always had a plan, he would text/call us when we had concerns and reminded us that everything would work out and he was there to make it great. The best memories I have from our wedding are because of Tom and Marlee. My wife had Marlee capture her special day and preparation and I had Tom. This couple, is truly incredible. Tom helped me on the wedding day to take a deep breath and stay in the moment and Marlee made sure my wife was calm, confident, and most of all happy. Tom and his team were absolutely amazing to work with! From the engagement session, planning for the big day, and the day of itself, they were professional, brought great energy, and made us feel so comfortable. Tom and his team were professional, kind, and easy to work with. I got married on a Saturday, had over 100 photos to look at by Tuesday. I then got my entire gallery one month later (to the day). Tom did our engagement photos and he and Nick shot our wedding photos and I highly recommend both of them! They were great to work with and the photos were beyond amazing! They had never been to our wedding venue before but they showed up early and scouted out the best spots for photos. They were creative and accommodating with a few of the challenges of our wedding. For example the sun was at a really bad, blinding angle during our ceremony and I was worried that they weren’t going to be able to get any decent pictures but they ended up getting some great shots! They did a great job of making us comfortable and kept us smiling and laughing throughout the photo sessions and they captured so many little candid moments that made the day really special!

Tom and his team are incredible! He was super fun to work with for both our engagement photo shoot and the day of our wedding. Our photos came back timely and they are BEAUTIFUL. Where do I even start... Tom captured our proposal photos and he made us feel so comfortable at our engagement shoot. When we saw our photos we were so happy with them, we knew we had to have Tom and his team at our wedding. Saying Tom and Nick went above and beyond is an understatement. We had a south indian wedding and he kept us on schedule with photos for all of our different events and pictures with family and friends. We got our wedding photos a few months ago and I look at all of them every other week. He made us feel like we had known him for years. Our engagement session was so much fun! Tom made us feel super comfortable. We received our photos just a few days after and WOW! Words can’t even describe how amazing Tom and his photo/video crew were!! Our wedding day was absolutely perfect and he managed to capture every moment along the way. We were married at Nanina’s in the Park and he knew every inch of the venue. He knew exactly when and where to go for every shot and his video crew followed. Tom also has such great report with the staff at Nanina’s so the day flowed effortlessly. He really knows how to take charge of a room, which was important to us, since we had 250 guests at this wedding. Our color palette was fall themed with accents of orange and burgundy, as our wedding was in November, and Tom picked up on this right away! Our entire album felt cohesive, elegant, and vibrant- it was exactly was I was going for!! Tom was also VERY quick to get us some photo previews to show friends and family. He sent about 80 beautifully edited photos to us only a few days after the wedding! This was great since Thanksgiving and Christmas were around the corner. BOOK HIM. He is a gem to work with and truly, truly knows what he is doing❤️

I knew of Tom's photography business long before I was even engaged and saw his work on social media, which made the choice to meet with him a no brainer once it came time for our engagement/wedding photos. Tom was so easy to work with-even through postponements! He was super flexible and made himself available at all hours to accommodate our busy schedules during the planning process, too. He was a great value and delivered amazing pictures that everyone continues to compliment. He has a great eye for details, captures beautiful portraits, and fun candid shots as well. Tom listened and remembered to take all my "required" photos, and provided more photos than we were promised, too! Our engagement session was absolutely perfect and the photos came back soooo great! We did two outfits, one nice and one fun (in workout clothes) outfit! Our photographer was great at cuing us for certain poses and working with the light. We got out phots back in 2 days, which was super quick!!! I found Tom on social media and won a contest for engagement photos. After looking at his social media and a zoom meeting, my fiancé and I instantly got along with him. We booked him that week! But it wasn’t until we just recently got our engagement photos back, that I knew we made the right decision. Not only did they make me emotional, the photos are stunning! I would recommend Tom to any new bride I know. Throughout the session he kept us laughing. For example, he had my fiancé talk to me in a Cookie Monster voice. Which led to natural smiles! Where to even begin? Tom and his team were INCREDIBLE the whole day. It is truly amazing what he can do with a camera and the creativity of shots he comes up with. He is also the best hype man and makes you feel like you're a model in front of the camera. Don't know how to pose? No worries- he will direct you. I am so so happy we went with Tom to capture our big day! I would recommend him time and time again!

We used Tom Russo for our engagement shoot last weekend and I'm still swooning I just have to tell the world. First, I love that Tom is a human being--professional, prompt, and thorough of course but he's personable and likable and genuinely invested in making your experience come out the way you want it to. My S/O and I were a bit nervous to get professional shots, but he really put us at ease and guided us throughout the shoot in such a seamless and pleasant way. I also love that he gets your energy going--I can't stress it enough--he's passionate about exceeding your expectations. Additionally, and this part is critical for anyone vetting photographers-- the turn-around time is sooo quick and the quantity of images you receive is soo good! Other photographers in the field will stall to get you your pictures and when you do it's only a few--not Tom. Hire him!

You really can’t get any better than Tom! He is nothing less than the best photographer! Not only does he take amazing photos, but he is so personable and makes you feel super comfortable and confident while shooting! You can tell that this is not just a job for him but mainly a passion. The time he takes to talk to you and get to know you as a couple is really unlike any other. He is invested in each couple he works with to make sure he really captures the love. My fiancé and I connected with Tom in January 2021 after winning an engagement photo contest he was hosting. I had been a fan of Tom's photography for some time at that point, so it was emotionally thrilling for me to have the opportunity to work with Tom and have him capture our love behind the lens. Tom's energy, from our Zoom call to meeting on location, was so contagious and set the tone for the PERFECT engagement session! He is a HUGE Disney fan, like myself, and recommended the PERFECT location for our photoshop; The Cross Estate Gardens in Bernardsville, NJ. From the moment he said that the location had a "Rapunzel" style castle, I was hooked! We were a little nervous as we never had professional photos taken of us before and I am quite insecure and self-conscience about my appearance. After working with Tom, I think back to those nerves and LAUGH! WE COULD NOT BELIEVE HOW STUNNING THE PHOTOS WERE! There was a lot of snow days leading up to the session and, although it was quite cold to say the least, gave us the absolute PERFECT backdrop! Tom was impeccable at providing us direction that was natural and allowed for our natural love and energy to radiate as bright as the "golden hour" sun that was featured in our photos. He absolutely made my fiancé's day when he asked if there were any more shots/poses we wanted because my fiancé, who is a HUGE Pittsburgh Steelers fan, had a couple of ideas in mind when posing with our custom jerseys and "Mr and Mrs" sign. My fiancé proposed to me with my custom jersey over the holidays, and Tom's excitement about the idea meant so much to us! Three days later, our digital album was sent to us with over 275 images from our session! THREE DAYS FOR DROP-DEAD GORGEOUS PHOTOS?! I still can't believe how fast the turn-around was! When I look at the photos and re-read the blog post Tom wrote about our session, my heart fills up with so much love that I feel "happy tears" welling up in my eyes because all I see is our love and connection for one another. They say "a picture says 1,000 words", and I see thousands when I look at not only our photos, but all of Tom's photos I have seen on social media. Love is such a powerful, evolving, and beautiful gift, and it is such an amazing blessing to have our love preserved for many years to come. Tom, thank you so much, from the bottom of our hearts, for such an incredible beginning to our Happily Ever After!

We loved working with Tom for our engagement pictures so much! He was easy to work with and kept things very fun and simple!! Our pictures came out exactly like we envisioned, thanks to Tom taking his time to listen to our specific wants/needs. Honestly, the quality and professionalism put this experience over the top and we are so thankful for him!

Tom has been a long time friend and a fantastic photographer. He did our engagement photo shoot, designed our save the dates, and photographed our backyard wedding ceremony on Halloween. He is still going to photograph our big reception next year that we postponed due to covid and was extremely kind and flexible with our postponement. Tom was absolutely fantastic to work with. He is timely, professional, responsive and a true artist with his camera. But more importantly, when you hire Tom you are hiring a friend. During this entire crazy year, Tom easily worked with us and adapted to our ever changing wedding plans. From honoring our contract for next year, to shooting an amazing engagement and finally shooting our small ceremony this year, Tom was amazingly accommodating with our changing needs. He always has time for clients and he will make your wedding photographs and a vision. We just got our prints back from our wedding and we are so absolutely thrilled with them. Tom Russo Photography was a pleasure to work with! Getting married during the pandemic had so many unexpected challenges, but luckily, Tom was flexible every step of the way. We had to change our original date for our engagement session from May to June 2020 due to COVID concerns and Tom was very accommodating in helping us find a new date. We also had to scale down our original wedding for October 2020 to become a micro-wedding and postponed our reception to May 2021. Tom was flexible again in helping us maneuver through these changes. Our engagement session in Point Pleasant Beach, NJ came out beautifully! Tom was great at guiding us in how to pose for photos and the finished product looked amazing. We had Tom back with us for our micro-wedding in October 2020 and he gave us amazing work once again. He was very professional, kept the day flowing efficiently, and made our family and bridal party feel comfortable in front of the camera. We were overjoyed to see the end result, which turned out beautifully! Although Tom was unavailable for our postponed wedding reception in May 2021, he is finding us an equally talented photographer and will still edit our photos for us in his signature style. We just finished an amazing engagement shoot with Tom! From the first time Hunter and I spoke to Tom, we knew he was a visionary and would help us create some magic! He definitely delivered on the photos, but the best part about working with him is HIM! He gives ample direction but also let’s you do your thing to capture those amazing candid moments. He was very accommodating of our venue choices for the engagement shoot and the three outfit changes! He captured the best moments from the day and we cannot wait to see what he creates for the wedding!

Tom was immensely helpful and super great! From the consultation to the end of the shoot, he was constantly available for any questions we may have had. It really felt like he valued us so much and he made sure to respond as soon as possible which was super nice! Our session was equally amazing! He was great at prompting us and creating a warm, fun environment for us to take genuine photos. Tom is such a phenomenal photographer, and at the same time, so relatable and down-to-earth which makes him a pleasure to work with. Especially with my husband who dislikes taking pictures! Tom was able to get him comfortable so much so that my husband actually enjoyed the photoshoot! We used Tom for both our engagement photos and our wedding photos. He really listened to what we wanted as a couple, and made sure that we were being true to ourselves. We love laughing at (or with) each other, which definitely showed in our pictures. Tom made us feel like we had been friends for years. We were nervous it was going to be awkward, but right when we got to the location we were on the go with very little time to think, it was perfect.
