When we saw our wedding cake for the first time in person on our wedding day, we were absolutely stunned by how beautiful and elegant the cake looked! I looked at many photos of beautiful wedding cakes online for inspiration during the wedding planning process, but our wedding cake definitely took the cake (pun intended!). It was more beautiful than any cake I had ever seen! We ordered a four-tier cake decorated with vanilla buttercream in two flavors (vanilla sponge cake with lemon curd filling and chocolate sponge cake with chocolate mousse and raspberry preserves). Wedding cakes often taste bland and dry, but Toni Patisserie & Café made a wedding cake that was beautiful, delicious, and affordable! Prior to the reception, we noticed many guests taking photos of the cake, which was a testament to how elegant and striking the cake looked! As a Chicago's Top 10 Wedding Planner, I know quite a bit about cake and where to go. We worked with Toni often with our brides and she always delivers, her cakes are delicious, and her team is the friendliest! We had three flavored cake which were Strawberry Mango Mouse, White Chocolate Mousse with Fresh Raspberries and Crispy Pearls, and Creamy Matcha. Everyone was raving how unique and delicious they all were. It was also a seven tier cake that towered above our dance floor. People could not believe their eyes. If you are looking for a baker who can deliver a cake as beautiful as it is tasty then look no further.

We worked with Toni’s to design the perfect wedding cake! We met with Toni’s very early in the process and they had many pictures of various cake designs for us to choose from, which was helpful because we did not have a specific design in mind for the cake. We picked a design we absolutely loved and then modified the colors to match our palette. The cake turned out to be so beautiful. We also tasted 3 different cake options from Toni’s. All of them were delicious and any of them would have made a fantastic wedding cake. We got many compliments on how good the cake was at our wedding. Although we live close by to Toni’s we had never gotten a cake from there before, but we will definitely be purchasing more cakes from Toni’s in the future because of how delicious and gorgeous the cake was and how easy they made the tasting and design process.

The team that we worked with for our tasting, pricing, and delivery was great! We did a cake (which everyone RAVED about on our wedding day), cheesecake bites and caramel tarts. All of the items arrived on time at the venue and tasted amazing.

I was married on October 6th, 2018 and Toni helped me out in a major pinch! At the last minute, our cake provider fell through, and Toni was able to secure us a wedding cake in the same flavors as well as produce a large amount of the small desserts we originally ordered! Our guests and us alike loved the desserts and surely will be recommending them for future events!

My husband and I could not have been any happier with our cake and cupcakes we had at our wedding. Their cake is incredible it melts in your mouth! My husband and I had our wedding reception at the Adler Planetarium, and we utilized Toni’s Patisserie for our cake and sweets. Toni was great to work with, as she was able to transform the vision that we had of a wedding cake into reality, developing a beautiful design that incorporated handmade flowers. The flavor of the cake was exceptional as well as every guest came up to us afterwards raving about how delicious it was. The cookies, macaroons and chocolate covered strawberries she made for us were amazing as well, however they were gone in seconds as they were a big hit with our guests. We would definitely recommend utilizing Toni for any of your cake and pastry needs!

Toni Patisserie provided the beautiful, delicious cake for my recent wedding in May. Our entire experience, from the tasting to the follow-up after the wedding, was so impressive. Toni is truly an expert pastry chef. There was a minor issue that the cafe resolved for us immediately. My now-husband and I can't wait to enjoy our cake again on our anniversary, and to go back to the cafe to enjoy pastries once in a while!

Our wedding cake was not only beautiful but also DELICIOUS! We ordered the white buttermilk cake filled with a cheesecake filling. Everyone loved it and continued to tell us how tasty they thought it was for days after our wedding! I also used Toni Patisserie for my bridal shower cake which was a carrot cake- also SOOO GOOD! There were no nuts or raisins so it really was a great balance for everyone's taste. We will definitely use Toni again for future events!

We chose a simple vanilla sponge cake with vanilla and chocolate custard filling and a vanilla buttercream frosting for our September 2017 wedding. The cake was SO GOOD. We had guests contact us after the wedding asking where we got the cake from so that they could try other things from the bakery. They gave us a great consultation and cake tasting, and we had plenty of design options to choose from. Would highly recommend Toni's for any event needs!

Growing up in Hinsdale I have always loved Toni's cakes! If you want the freshest of the fresh ingredients and delicious flavor this is the place! We chose to do a macaroon cake with tiers of cookies below a small top piece cake. The top portion we chose was her classic and amazing White Chocolate Raspberry cake, typically its served with a raspberry sauce to pour on, but that being messy she instead put fresh raspberries between the layers which was AMAZING! The macaroons were tiered in a ombre fashion from white to pink. The flavors varied from almond to strawberry and have introduced me to a whole new world of macaroons. We also did linzer cookies to accompany the macaroons, and the preserves tasted so fresh. My only gripe was that I felt as though when buying bulk macaroons and linzer cookies I felt as though they didnt work with me on price too much, which is why we chose to do linzer cookies instead of more macaroons. The other thing was that they seemed to argue with me even about the cookie shape stating using another shape would cost more money...I wasnt thrilled about it but knew that Toni's was the only bakery I was interested in using. She knows what shes doing there is NO DOUBT there, I just wish she was a little flexible of price considering how much you are purchasing. Overall great bakery, I would rather spend the extra money and know its quality.

We absolutely loved the cake from Toni's. Not only was the cake tasting flexible but they were reliable delivering and executing on our vision for our wedding cake. It was what we were looking for and more. I would highly recommend their cakes, they are delicious.

We got our wedding cake through Toni Patisserie for our July wedding as part of a package with Pinstripes, our venue. We met with Toni at the Hinsdale location and we were so impressed with the level of service she provided. She gave us plenty of options, was patient (even though it was a busy Saturday) and showed us tons of photos to help us narrow down what we wanted, and of course gave us plenty of flavors to test! All of the options, especially the one we chose, were delicious! Our guests agreed. Thank you Toni Patisserie for making us a delicious and beautiful wedding cake! You have at least two new loyal customers!

We had our wedding at Pinstripes, and they work with Toni’s Patisserie to include a cake in their food price. The package at Pinstripes had a few options for cake flavors, filling flavors, and cake designs. You can upgrade to add fruit fillings if you want to pay more for the cake, but we wanted ours to be simple and within budget. Our cake was 3 tiers with a simple, royal blue band around the base of each tier. We chose chocolate cake with chocolate mousse filling and yellow cake with Bavarian cream filling. We didn’t have time to do a tasting beforehand because my father was diagnosed with cancer at that time, but the cake was delicious at our wedding. We didn’t try the yellow cake, but the chocolate mousse was amazing and the buttercream on the outside was delicious. We had enough to keep the top tier, too. My husband accidentally dropped the box when we got home, but it was sturdy and was mostly intact.

We used Toni Patisserie for our wedding cake because of their partnership with Pinstripes in Oak Brook, but we would use them again! Marissa was very helpful and accommodating in providing adorable and delicious cupcakes for our reception, and she even went out of her way to work with a different local bakery to provide gluten-free, dairy-free options for our guests with food allergies.

What can I say? Toni is absolutely amazing. My cake turned out EXACTLY what I had been envisioning and it tasted so good! I received so many compliments about our cake and I can't wait to eat the top for our one year anniversary! Toni was also fantastic during the whole planning process as well. She is professional, warm, communicative, talented, and open-minded. Not to mention, that she gave us huge pieces of cake at our tasting, and some to bring home with us! (That sealed the deal with my husband.) She is also extremely affordable and was an absolute pleasure to work with!

I had my wedding at the Drake Hotel in Oakbrook and they provided me a cake through Toni Patisserie. Me and 3 others went in for a tasting on a Saturday morning and we received HUGE pieces of cake to try. I think I was on a sugar high for the entire day. I went into the appointment with a very specific design in mind and Toni made suggestions to keep me within the Drake's budget. I loved her suggestions better than my design. My cake was absolutely gorgeous and tasted soooooo good. I almost cried when I saw the cake!

I had never heard of Toni Patisserie until I was googling places but I am so glad I came across her bakery!! I procrastinated last minute with my wedding cake and she was able to help us. I told her what I was looking for in terms of flavor, look, and my price range and she was able to create the perfect cake..just how I wanted! All of our guests loved it. I would definitely return to her bakery and would highly recommend them!

Prior to our official taste test, I bought their signature cake for my parents to try. I knew it was a winner when they couldn't stop eating it. At our taste testing, we tried the different cake flavors we thought of serving our guests. Although all were delicious, we both agreed upon her signature wedding cake: French-style vanilla sponge filled with Belgian white chocolate mousse with their house-made raspberry sauce. The raspberry sauce is extra, but oh so worth it. This delicious cake literally melts in your mouth. The raspberry dressing compliments the cake, that you yearn for another bite. Bite after bite of delicious, feel good, decadence. Afterwards, we talked about the design of our wedding cake. I showed her my dress, colors and overall theme. Based on that, she made a sketch of our cake. Toni incorporated my style into our wedding cake. Walking into the ballroom, I stopped in my tracks. It was beautiful!!!!! We had ordered fresh flowers that matched my bridal bouquet to be placed on the cake. When I put my bouquet down down to cut the cake, it all matched wonderfully. I had lots of guests telling me that I had a beautiful AND delicious wedding cake. Of all the weddings you've attended, can you recall eating their cake? Toni Patisserie did our cake and dessert table for our wedding, and everything was absolutely perfect! The cake looked beautiful (and tasted great) and the dessert table turned out nicely as well. They were a huge hit with the guests who loved being able to just grab a bite whenever they wanted it. Would recommend Toni Patisserie to any bride!

Toni was the first place we visited where the baker drew out an actual sketch of the cake as we discussed our wants. Toni's was the third bakery we visited and we did our tasting at 8:30am on a Saturday morning. Their cake is amazing, her reputation is amazing, and we were not disappointed. I frequent their restaurant in the loop for lunch and based on their sandwiches, I thought they might be out of our price point. They were not and even with the delivery fee. We went with a three tier vanilla cake with butter cream and a raspberry inlay. We had a second cake in the kitchen - carrot. Both cakes were amazing and incredibly affordable! I'm actually going to order one of each cakes next year for our one year anniversary. FYI: Toni was the executive pastry chief for Walt Disney Paris!

Toni was easy to work with and the cake was absolutely phenomenal. The kids were lining up for seconds; it was almost too cute to watch :)

I was hesitant with picking a wedding cake because the only cake I've had at weddings has always been dry. Expressed my concern with them at the tasting, and no worries- cake was fluffy, delicious and not dry. We brought my husbands parents with us for the cake tasting, and the only complaint I can come up with was that the cake was too cold. Definitely let it warm up- tastes way better room temp. Ate the first slice at the wedding right after cutting it- the frosting and filling (chocolate ganache ribbon and raspberry preserves) was delicious! Another benefit- the cake was included from Toni's per the reception venue. They have pastries and coffees- skip the Starbucks and go here next time you're in downtown Hinsdale!

Toni's was easy to work with, stayed within our budget, and followed our vision. We gave them pictures of what we wanted for our wedding cake, and it turned out perfect. We had just the right amount of cake with two flavors, that our guests loved! They delivered the cake and it showed up and was placed on our stand in one beautiful piece!

I gave Toni a picture of what I wanted my cake to look like and a picture of what I wanted my groom's cake to look like and they both turned out better than the picture! The cake itself was delicious!! A big selling point was that the cake traveled about 2 hours and got to my reception in perfect condition!!

I loved my wedding cake. We only went to one bakery for a taste test and that's all we needed. They were easy to work with and so nice. We had vanilla sponge with chocolate buttercream and a carrot cake as a back up. Both were fresh, moist and delicious. The buttercream was not heavy at all and just made the difference. Our theme was movies and so we had our favorite movies written all over the cake...it looked amazing. We also used Toni's for our desserts at the rehearsal dinner.
