a photographer is insane, she has so much talent using light to create amazingly artistic shots. Looking through her portfolio I knew I needed to hire her for my wedding day! We hired Tonie for our engagement photos and for our wedding day and couldn't be happier with the results. Not only is Tonie an amazing human and now a good friend of ours, she makes it all SO EASY. She made us look like models (still not sure how) and made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. Emily from her team came along as a second shooter, and it was like having a Tonie clone! Then 2020 happened.... amidst all of the chaos, government guidelines, natural disasters, and changed plans, Tonie made it clear she was here for us and excited to be a part of whatever version of our wedding 2020 would allow. On our wedding day, Tonie fit in seamlessly with my bridal party, made everyone feel comfortable and confident, and even painted my chipped nail just before my dress reveal to my bridesmaids! Throughout the day her and Eric took beautiful portraits in addition to capturing small details and candid moments. They felt like family by the end of it all. This year forced us to reimagine what our PNW wedding day would look like to account for variables including a venue change, drastically cutting guest count, and troubleshooting wildfire smoke... All said and done, it was better than we ever imagined and my husband and I are so thankful that Tonie and Eric were able to capture our perfect day.

She was so much fun to work with, has such a vivacious personality, and has a fantastic eye for the perfect shots! She bailed us out of a tough spot when we weren't too happy with the first photographer we found and we can't thank her enough for finding time for us so late in the planning. Tonie captured every beautiful detail of our day, kept everyone up beat and happy, (separated the family who have a little drama), and managed to do it all while fighting one of the worst sounding colds! I can't believe how much she was zooming around and getting everything done while feeling so unwell. My husband and I are so thankful for all the work she did and the perfect memories she preserved for us forever.

is perfect--clear, artistic, and truly captures the feel and the moment. Our friends and family loved them, both of our moms cried when they first saw the pictures! I loved that when we worked with Tonie, we never felt like we were posing for photos. We were just having fun, being in the moment with each other, and hanging out with our friends. Somehow, she still managed to get the perfect photo every time. Tonie is always prompt to respond to questions and always operates with the utmost level of professionalism-. I would also highly recommend taking advantage of her engagement photo package. I love that the photos in our house all have the same "feel" and style. I also did a boudoir session with Tonie, which was SO much fun and maybe my favorite part of my wedding prep. My husband also absolutely loved them. I ordered way too many prints and products, but it was 100% worth the cost. During the wedding day, Tonie snapped a couple of photos of me in just my veil to add to my collection. I'm so glad we decided to invest in the perfect photographer. She is absolutely worth every penny and then some!

Tonie (and her good looking second shooter) was/were AMAZING! She got to know us, she knew what was important to us and her energy and enthusiasm were beyond contagious. Thank goodness she had my date available! During our first meeting Tonie was helpful (she pointed me in the direction of a fabulous videographer and florist!) she is probably the most upbeat and happy person you can imagine. My friends and family were all amazed at how beautiful my engagement photos turned out, and my fiancé loved the 'Bella by Tonie' photos I gave him as a wedding present. But most of all our wedding day was even more magical because of her. She managed our time well, got every shot on my list, and she was able to wrangle together all my bridal party (18 people!). was exactly what we needed. Before the big day I worked with Tonie doing a boudoir shoot. She totally put me at ease and totally directed everything. There was no awkwardness and the photos turned out amazing and were very tasteful! I had no idea I could look like that. We then had our wedding and Tonie again directed the show and really listened to what we wanted. She got a lot of great detail shots in and was great at wrangling our huge bridal party. We were beyond happy with our finished product and she was super speedy about getting them back! Overall super professional and VERY easy to work with!

We had emailed with Tonie a few time before the wedding and she was always quick to respond to any questions we had. On the day of the wedding Tonie arrived early to get set up and to ensure we started on time. She did a wonderful job staying to the timeline and giving her professional opinion :). itself goes by so fast (and to me was such a blur) that looking at the photos reminds me of what a beautiful, amazing day it was. Looking at the photos, I am so thankful that my husband and I booked Tonie and her husband Eric to document our day. Tonie is a photographer, but was so much more at our wedding. Before doing the first look, her energetic and confident attitude calmed me down and helped me take in what a big moment it was. Her and Eric really make you feel at ease... to be honest, I didn't even notice them taking photos during the ceremony, our dance, etc. They manage to get all the right shots without being in the way at all. I see photos Tonie took and Eric is in the background taking a photograph and realize I didn't even notice he was there! They are photography ninjas. :) Or maybe I was just too focused on my new husband! Either way, they are really great at what they do. As far as the photographs go - I literally teared up when seeing the blog post of our wedding. We already have all of our engagement photos printed (and many framed) but I can't wait to frame the ones from our wedding. They really captured what we were feeling on our wedding day, and the love between each other and the love we have for our family and friends. Tonie & Eric were more than just our photographers. They really took the time to get to know us and what we are about, and we really do consider them friends. There are a few vendors from our wedding which didn't quite work out so well - but Tonie was the best vendor we booked. There are a lot of photographers to choose from in Seattle, but I seriously recommend Tonie Christine Photography. You won't regret it!

Little did I know that my dream of having Tonie shoot my wedding would become a reality after meeting with her on a visit to Seattle last September. tion of the ceremony. On a ferry. And not a private, retired, no-longer-in-use ferry, but rather the 5:35 sailing from Seattle to Bremerton. Just us, our 14 member bridal party, 170+ guests and... everyone else heading to Bremerton via the Washington State Ferry system. So I'll admit, I loved the ferry idea from the get-go, but as a bride I started to get nervous that my wedding would be over and it wouldn't have "felt" like a wedding. Too much chaos, and maybe just too untraditional in the end. But then I told Tonie about my wedding plans and her eyes got big with excitement and hardly let me finish explaining the plan for the day before starting to throw out ideas! She was on board, a supportive and understood my fears -- and most importantly, how to make sure they wouldn't come true. So the day of the wedding arrived and Tonie showed up at the very beginning of my day for my hair. Then she drove me to my makeup appt! Then back where she captured awesome shots of the bridal party and the groom before coming back to get photos of me again. She remembered all the little detail shots (rings, garder, me in my robe etc). She then perfectly arranged the first look and easily kept up with our fast pace as the bridal party jumped in cabs to head to the ferry for our photo run. The photos speak for themselves--Tonie does great work. But the best part is how fun and easy she makes it for all involved. She isn't high maintenance at all, totally flexible if changes should be made AND family photos actually went quickly and beautifully. Now that's not an easy task with our huge families! Bottom line is that Tonie has the ability to really get the vision you have for your day and then address those things or in my case, fears that might be nagging at your mind. Now a newlywed, I get totally lost every time I start looking at my photos from the day. They are beautiful and remind me what a wonderful day it was. And I TOTALLY felt like a bride and also TOTALLY felt like the way we did the ceremony and the way Tonie captured it felt like a really and actually truly special ceremony. I know Tonie's role was an irreplaceable one for me on my wedding day. I cannot recommend this girl enough. The person you choose, like the person, not the photographer's skills is so so so important. Her can-do attitude is amazing and something you need to have on the day of your wedding! Of course it doesn't hurt that you'll be hard pressed to find a better skilled photographer too. Tonie is the bomb.com. Also... I got photos back very quickly. I know some friends who have had to wait months and months. Not the case with T! She had photos on her blog in like a week--not sure if she does that for all weddings but it was fun for sure!

as ultra important to have photographs that could share our perfect moment with all those who would not be there in person. We knew it would be cold. What we never could have predicted was that the night before a blizzard would have dropped 1-2 feet of snow over the Reno/Tahoe basin. This meant that our plans for beautiful pristine sunny Lake Tahoe to be a feature element of our setting changed the morning of the wedding. Tonie although early in her career demonstrated the poise and flexibility of a veteran photographer. She didn't skip a beat, helped me to remain calm given all the other changing dynamics and caught precious moments throughout our phenomenal day. Still now coming up on our tenth anniversary my husband and I look back at the photos and appreciate so much the memories that Tonie captured that day. It wasn't just about a pretty dress, or 'the Kiss', she encapsulated the emotion of the moment, the sense of expectation and exuberance. Our photos have become a treasured archive of an experience of a lifetime. I don't know of any other photographer that would have been willing to go to the lengths that Tonie did to ensure we got the shots we did. From frigid temperatures, special moments along the journey to our wedding and reception locations, to getting a night shot of wild horses that had descended down out of the hills to the valley floor due to the snow as if to mark our special ocassion; all the memories are in our wedding portfolio.
