We had a wonderful experience working with Jessy Ramos as the MC for our Latin Fest at Chattanooga State. This was a closed event for Chattanooga State students celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month, and we had 799 students sign in throughout the day, not including our volunteers, vendors, performers, and staff. With multiple live performances, activities, and food vendors happening throughout the event, there were a lot of moving pieces, and Jessy was a huge part of making everything come together. As the person planning and overseeing the event, one of the things I appreciated most was knowing I could trust Jessy to keep things under control on his end. When you’re managing an event of this size, you’re constantly being pulled in different directions. It was incredibly helpful to have someone I trusted with the microphone who could make announcements, keep students informed, manage transitions between performances, and keep the energy going without needing constant direction from me. Most importantly, he understood the atmosphere we were trying to create. We wanted our students to relax, have fun, explore the different food vendors and activities, enjoy the performances, and celebrate together. Having Jessy as a bilingual MC was also a major plus for an event celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month. Being able to naturally incorporate both English and Spanish throughout the event added to the welcoming and authentic atmosphere we wanted to create. We had several live performances throughout the day, which meant plenty of switches, timing adjustments, and moments when one performer was finishing while another was getting ready. Jessy kept up with those changes and filled the transitions naturally so the energy never dropped. He also did quick interviews with our vendors and performers, which they loved. It gave them an opportunity to introduce themselves and connect with our students and added a really personal touch to the event. The preparation beforehand also made a huge difference. Our event started at 10:00 a.m., but Jessy was there at 8:00 a.m. getting a lay of the land and making sure his team and the photo booth were set up and ready to go. We had also met prior to the event for a walkthrough to go over the finer details, so when the day arrived, he already understood the vision and was ready to go. Jessy was professional, prepared, energetic, flexible, and genuinely easy to work with. Several of our vendors and participants even asked me for his contact information and information about his company after the event, which speaks for itself. I would absolutely recommend Jessy as an MC, especially for events with multiple performers, activities, vendors, and a lot happening behind the scenes. From an event-planning perspective, having someone you can trust to take ownership of that part of the experience is invaluable. Jessy helped us create the atmosphere we wanted, kept everything moving, and allowed me to focus on overseeing the rest of the event knowing that part was in good hands. We would absolutely work with him again!

Jessy and Kevin were a key part of why our wedding will be unforgettable. Jessy was so communicative and they delivered exactly what we wanted and what we discussed while also taking the crowd into consideration come wedding day. The music was perfect and everyone was singing and dancing all night. They were so intentional about their song choices and transitions while also celebrating us the whole time. Throughout the whole night they checked in with us and were accommodative to any adjustments or changes we needed. Even with one of their team members getting food poisoning and some day of changes Jessy kept us updated and made sure our wedding was everything we wanted AND MORE. When I tell you EVERY wedding guest complimented us on our DJ, I mean every single one. It was the best night ever and that wouldn’t have been possible without Jessy and his team. We would book them one thousand times over and highly recommend that you do the same. *Also, the photobooth was a HUGE hit, if you're debating adding it on DO IT!!!
