Top Tier is a top-notch, award-winning wedding band based in Nashville, Tennessee, that services the entire state of Tennessee, Kentucky, and anywhere else within a 500 mile radius. Top Tier is the best of both worlds - a fun, high-energy party band and a smooth, light dinner band all in one. Since forming in 2009, they receive the Wedding Wire Couple's Choice Award annually. They have earned The Knot's "Best of" Hall of Fame badge as well, after winning that award consecutively for many years.
They have 5 lead vocalists to offer a diverse repertoire of over eight decades worth of the greatest hits from a wide-range of music genres, including pop, rock, Motown, disco, jazz, country, and more. Band members have shared the stage and written/recorded music with some big names in the music business. Collectively they have performed everywhere from cruise ships to casinos to arenas to headlining major outdoor concerts.
Top Tier can be hired as a 5-piece, 6-piece (with sax), or 8-piece band (with 3-piece horn section). They take pride in going above and beyond to make sure every client's event is second to none. On your special day, Top Tier band will keep you and your guests on the dance floor all night! So when you want live music at the highest level, look no further than Top Tier!

We told him our music preferences and they created a set list for us that had the dance floor packed ALL NIGHT! Coming from a Bride who was nervous about people dancing at our wedding...go ahead and ease your mind by booking Top Tier. They brought amazing energy and we got so many compliments on how great the band was. My husband and I did not leave the dance floor for the entire reception, and wedding guests followed! We had another musician play during Top Tier's break, and Top Tier let him use some of their equipment. JD was very accommodating coordinating this with our other musician. 10/10 experience, professionalism, and overall value for your money. And they are so talented! You won't regret it! They did an excellent job on our two songs that we requested they learn for our first dance and entrance song. We’ve lost count of all the compliments we’ve received even weeks after the event. JD is a great communicator and was extremely helpful for any questions we had throughout our wedding planning process. hose recorded music for ceremony and cocktail hour with the live 5-piece band for our intimate wedding reception at The Brown Hotel. Ceremony songs were chosen prior to in which they nailed the timing of those being played and sounded great given the high winds we had wedding day. Reception was a huge hit, showing off the true talent they have! They continued to play popular dance worthy songs, getting non-dancers up out of their seats! Even had my 2-year-old nephew on the dance floor all night long! Having both a male and female vocalist truly sets them apart from other bands, making songs sound so similar to the actual artist (or even better in my opinion). The group does an outstanding job of feeling the party's energy and matching it with their set list and play style.
