so amazingly delicious and beautiful. we did an 8" cake for the cutting and about 70 cupcakes and everything was so good! the cupcakes were set up with so you could tell what they were by looking at them, which was really nice

We worked with Top Tier Cakes for our wedding cake. We had a larger guest list, so we went for a five tier cake. Ashley absolutely knocked it out of the park. Meeting her, attending our cake tasting, and planning the design of the cake were all parts of the process that were so easy to do with her. She was great with communicating updates with us, and executed the cake design flawlessly. Most importantly, the different cake flavors and fillings tasted delicious. We had many people give many compliments on the taste. We recommend Top Tier any day for any event.

If you want your guests to love the cake and desserts, this should be your only choice. Everything they make is delicious, everything was gobbled up, and people still talk to us about how delicious the cupcakes were, months later. Ashley is so great to work with and met even our unusual request for pizzelles (a favorite of the Father of the groom we wanted to include) without blinking an eye. Top Tier did an amazing job for our wedding cake! It was absolutely BEAUTIFUL and don't even get me started on the flavor! We got so many compliments on our cake. Top Tier Cakes deserves more than five stars for their outstanding cake and service. I found them here on the knot after I procrastinated on booking our wedding cake. During an especially busy wedding season, they were willing to squeeze in our cake order even though they were already booked for the season. The cake itself was beautiful and the best tasting cake I've had. We've had dozens of wedding guests rave about the cake and ask who made it - some even texting us the next day to ask for the bakery's contact info. I don't think I've ever been to a wedding where so many people were focused on the cake. I know many of them will be calling Top Tier for their next cake occasion and so will we!

We wanted a huge 4 tier wedding cake and Top Tier Cakes delivered just that! Ashley was extremely kind and patient through my indecisiveness of what we wanted our cake to look like. She met with my mom and I on a Monday night and let us taste test all of their cake, filling and icing flavors! Needless to say, it was all super delicious. All I had to do was show Ashley a design I liked and she was able to make exactly what I wanted. I highly recommend Top Tier Cakes for wedding needs whether it be a smaller cake, five tier cake, or just a bunch of cupcakes! They got our cake safely to our reception hall and put our topper on there! & like I said, the whole thing was DELICIOUS. P.s. Delivery was included and was hassle-free, and they did a great job putting on other decorations we left provided for them! We showed up to the reception with a cake that looked and tasted AMAZING! I highly recommend this one! I found them via Knot and they turned out to be amazing. I was not able to meet them in person due to time crunch, but our remote communication went very well. Their attitude over the phone made me confident that everything would be great. Indeed, the cake showed up very beautifully. Many of wedding guests took picture of it. There are many flavors to choose and we all love the two flavors picked.

Ashley was so enjoyable to work with! She was honest and kind and helped us make wise decisions because we were pretty clueless. The tasting was a lot of fun and delicious! We live around the corner from the shop and would go in almost weekly to try new flavors since they swap them every week. There are so many different flavors to choose from and she can customize almost anything to give you exactly what you want. All our guests RAVED about the cupcakes and I still have people talking about them over 2 weeks later saying they wish they had more. 110% recommend you check them out.

Ashley was easy and amazing to work with. All of the flavors we tried were delicious but we ended up going with the red velvet cake with cream cheese filling and the vanilla cake with fresh strawberries and chocolate mouse filling. After our initial meeting I sent Ashley some photos of cake designs I liked and it turned out even more beautiful than I could have imagined! Great quality at a great price! I would highly recommend Top Tier Cakes.

I got married on July 27th this year and I cannot say enough about Ashley at Top Tier Cakes. I had a five tier cake, a cookie table, and a pastry table (we're dessert people!) and each one was a total hit. My guests are still telling me how delicious their desserts were! Two of our tiers were vanilla cake with raspberry filling and the other three were chocolate cake with chocolate ganache and chocolate mousse filling. (My mouth is watering just thinking about it!) Ashley was completely professional from Day 1 and I was so confident going in to my wedding day knowing that our cake was going to be both beautiful and delicious. Delicious, beautiful, well designed cake! We worked with top tier because of the contract with our venue but I don’t think we could have found a better bakery to work with! The taste test was fun and straightforward. We dropped off our cake topper and some decorative ribbon for the cake the week before the wedding. I didn’t have to worry about the cake at all, I felt confident in the team the entire time. They even called to discuss final details and ensure everything was as we had previously discussed and asked if we had any last minute changes. We didn’t have any but it was nice to have that option. We heard excellent reviews from all our guests. We only had the one bite during cake cutting but it was so tasty. We had a butter cream frosting, white cake, with raspberry filling. YUM!

I loved the cake we got from this bakery! Ashley's cake is amazing and it was decorated perfectly. She also was able to incorporate fresh blooms that my florist had set aside for our cake at the last minute. Our guests loved the flavors we chose (red velvet with chocolate mouse / vanilla with raspberry filling). Also -- pretty cool thing -- They will make a new "top tier" of our wedding cake for our one year anniversary so we can still celebrate without sticking our cake in a freezer for a year.

Such a great experience! We mainly wanted a cake to cut, as we decided to go the cupcake route from another vendor as our venue charged for cake plate rental. Our cake tasting was so cute and fun, and our cake was beautiful! The delivery to our venue was great! We were too busy to taste our cake other than our "cutting of the cake," but luckily my mom saved a slice from each tier. IT WAS SO GOOD! Seriously, some of the best cake I have ever had. We are so excited for our anniversary next year to have a top tier to celebrate! Thank you so much, Top Tier!

We had the BEST wedding cake in the world! My husband and I picked out a chocolate cake with a whipped buttercream filling and a buttercream frosting and it melted in your mouth. I have been to weddings and sometimes a cake that big dries out - but not ours! I even had guests text me the next day asking where we got our cake because they wanted to go visit the bakery themselves - they wanted another piece! Ashley was so kind and super easy to work with. Every single person that came to our wedding said the exact same thing: that cake was amazing. We ordered a three tier casatta cake with pink ombre rosettes all over it. Ashley was extremely sweet and helpful through the entire process, showed up early to the venue to deliver and even brought cupcakes for the servers at the venue to enjoy.

All of our guests raved about how delicious our desserts were! We worked with Ashley to create a 2 tier cake in addition to an assortment of other desserts: cupcakes, creme brulee tarts, mini cheesecakes, cookies, etc....my mouth is watering just thinking about it. I've been to so many weddings where slices of cake and other desserts were left out on the tables uneaten, but not this time! I truly think every piece of dessert was consumed. I will always remember cutting our cake and my husband and I feeding each other a piece as I said to myself, "Wow this cake is delicious!!!!!!" and I was pleasantly surprised! We ordered our wedding cake from Top Tiers and it was an unusual request to. Both my husband and I love chocolate cake and we had a beautiful 2-tier chocolate cake with chocolate frosting with white hearts and the Celtic trinity inside the hearts. We also ordered another cake for those that didn't like chocolate and both were amazing! Both cakes were scrumptious and they looked beautiful. I will definitely recommend and use Top Tier cakes again for any specialty cake needs.

Beautiful and delicious cake for my wedding! Top Tier was contracted with our venue. They did the cake and pastry table. All turned out wonderful and tasty! Received many compliments. Ashley designed the cake beautifully based on my requests! And best yet- SO DELICIOUS!

Ashley, at Top Tier Cakes, is a FANTASTIC baker to work with! Her artistic vision helped bring our travel-themed cake to life, even better than we had imagined it! She is very responsive and accommodating, and has so much to offer as both a baker and an artist! We had the skylines of Chicago (where we met), Cleveland (where we live), Rome, Italy (our first international trip together), and Paris, France (our honeymoon) on each of the layers, and she added the pop of our wedding colors in a vintage suitcase for the top tier (all of which was her idea!). Our colors of periwinkle and light aqua were pretty unique shades, and she matched them perfectly!! Our cake truly displayed our love story, went perfectly with our colors and theme, and was an absolute hit in terms of style AND taste! She offers so many delicious flavor combinations, and the texture and taste of the cake itself is absolutely perfect! My husband and I, as well as our guests, give Top Tier Cakes the highest marks and would HIGHLY recommend them for bringing your unique, artistic visions to life, with delicious flavor and a show-stopping cake!

My co-worker had recommended this bakery to me during our planning process. Ashley is FANTASTIC. We went in for two different cake tastings to determine the best cake for us. The week of the wedding, we dropped off the cake decorations, paid our final deposit and since we ordered a 3 tier cake, Ashley delivered the cake for us which was awesome to not have to worry about the cake getting to our venue safely. The cake was delicious. We ended up getting vanilla cake with fudge ganache, chocolate cake with peanut butter mousse and red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting. Yummmmmmmm! Ashley is so sweet, she's an artist, and a master at her craft! We wanted to go the cupcake style, and I've always heard that cupcakes can be tough to make and be moist & delicious...but Ashley's are!!! We loved each one that we tasted, and I also loved how she conducted her taste test. She provided a few different kinds of cake, and several filling/icings in cups. So, we had fun combining various cakes/icings and decided which combos we liked best! She will make a variety of flavors, with no increase in cost. We had 6 different cupcake flavors laid out in a lovely display (about 300 people). We had two small cakes at the top designed how we requested, and that is what we cut. I've even heard from one of my guests, that which flavors to try was even a fun conversation piece at the display! Top Tier Cakes was affordable, and delicious! I highly recommend them!

I met with the owner for a consultation after tasting her cakes at a bridal show.
