s a no brainer to us to order their mini whoopie pies as the main dessert for our wedding. We first got connected with Topsfield Bakeshop in July 2024 and were able to do a take-home cake tasting later that month. Talk about tough decisions! The cake flavors were heavenly, so much so that we didn’t end up deciding what cake flavor to go with (lemon raspberry torte) until weeks before the wedding. The mini whoopie pies were the main attraction. We got a variety of flavors, but the red velvet and s’mores were our favorites. Topsfield Bakeshop also offers gluten-free and dairy-free options, which we took advantage of! As I mentioned, the mini whoopies pies were the primary dessert option, but the lemon raspberry torte was heavenly and so refreshing! We have to recognize Philip, who helped us with all of the details and planning. Philip was an absolute pleasure to work with. He was extremely thorough, incredibly professional, and always so responsive. We mostly communicated via email, so it was such a treat to finally meet him! Topsfield Bakeshop will definitely be seeing more of us!

My mom said that the chocolate dipped coconut macaroons were the best she's ever had. Ordering was a simple and clear process, and our friends picked them up for us - all a breeze! The Topsfield Bakery team took care of everything and made sure the cake was delivered right on time, exactly as promised, which gave us one less thing to think about on the big day. As for the cake itself, it was a huge hit with our guests! So many people complimented us on how delicious it was, and it definitely lived up to the high expectations we had. The Viennese Torte was rich and decadent, while the carrot cake was flavorful and perfectly spiced. The icing was especially great. The cake was not only delicious but beautifully decorated, and it made a stunning centerpiece at our wedding. A special thank you to Philip Frye, the special occasion coordinator, who made the entire process smooth and easy. Philip was extremely helpful, attentive, and responsive, and he ensured that everything went off without a hitch. We really appreciated his professionalism and attention to detail throughout the entire process. Starting with a cake tasting box a few months prior to paying a deposit, we were impressed by the light, airy goodness of their chocolate cakes - we went with the chocolate ganache torte and the chocolate salted caramel. When we met with Fiona to share our desired design, cake flavors, and additional details, we were so incredibly happy with the outcome of our meeting and walked away confident that the bakeshop would make our vision come to life! For our day, we knew we wanted a cake, but we knew we couldn't go to the Topsfield Bakeshop, home of the Whoopie Wagon, and NOT get mini whoopie pies for our guests to share; we absolutely love the whoopie pies from the Topsfield Bakeshop so this was a non-negotiable for us. During our meeting, Fiona helped us navigate how many of each flavor we should have as well as what flavors were Gluten-Free for some of our guests with dietary restrictions. We were so excited to see how everything would come together for our big day. On the day of the wedding, we were absolutely blown away when we finally saw our cake and the whoopie pie displays following dinner - truly speechless. Everything we wanted in a cake design had been executed so much better than we could have ever imagined, and guests are still raving about the whoopie pies and cake. We couldn't have been more pleased with our choice of cake vendor than we were with the Topsfield Bakeshop.

They had many, many wonderful flavors but we chose a "Margarita" cake. It was not only absolutely wonderful to eat but it was decorated with such great care and was very classy to look at!!! The bakeshop has wonderful connolis, cookies, cookie ice cream sandwiches, gluten free cupcakes, bakery pizza which I LOVE, and great coffee as well as breakfast sandwiches. They are truly wonderful to do business with!!! Fiona and the whole staff are very helpful in helping you make your day incredible and delicious!!! You will be in good hands, there!!!!!

I dropped off stickers to put on these bags and the Bakeshop assembled everything and delivered the whoopies and the cake to the venue. I received SO many compliments on the cakes. We ended up taking a bunch of leftovers home. I gave one cake to my aunt (chocolate ganache) and she said it was the best cake she’s ever had, and we have tried a lot of cakes! Totally recommend them. They were so great to work with and not to mention delicious. Our guests really loved their whoopie pie favors!

They understood exactly what we were looking for in decoration and helped us find the best look possible. We opted for a 3-layer, 2-flabvor cake that turned out beautifully. The decoration was lovely, and the flavors were perfect. All our guests were fawning over the cake. I only wish we had ordered an entire cake for ourselves!
