Tori Osteraa Photography

e in front of the camera. She has such an eye for detail and managed to capture all the special, candid moments that we will cherish forever. Looking back at our photos feels like reliving the day all over again - they’re stunning, timeless, and so full of emotion. We couldn’t have asked for a better photographer and would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for someone truly talented and dedicated.

pivotal recommendation we received during our wedding planning. Tori has incredible talent that's easy to see when you peruse her page- you don't need to be a professional photographer to see that she has absolute top craft. The part that I really want to comment on though is her vision. She has an eye towards moments that seem entirely ordinary and she will capture it in such a way that you feel the profound emotions just the layer underneath. She's an empath through and through and she makes you feel at ease in such a way that your walls fall and her lens really see you and your special relationship for what it is. As the months have flown by since our wedding, looking through Tori's photos of our day relights all the emotions I felt marrying my husband, surrounded by my community and it truly makes our hearts glow. I will often find myself just looking through our album on a random Tuesday, feeling warm from all that magic, and will see my husband doing the same, smiling to himself. We took away so much more than just photos from that day and we are so so grateful.

ally feels awkward being photographed, is no small feat! She’s not only incredibly talented but also the ultimate hype woman, which made every session feel fun, relaxed, and full of genuine moments. Tori photographed both our engagement shoot at Rosario Beach and our wedding at Chateau Lill, and the photos are beyond anything we could’ve imagined. She captured the atmosphere, the emotion, and all the little details so beautifully. We’re so grateful to have found her, and we can’t recommend her enough. I look forward to working with her again in the future! If you’re looking for someone who will make you feel amazing and deliver stunning photos, Tori’s your person.

t considering we are both camera shy!) but she somehow captured the essence of the day. We did our hw in finding a photographer and couldn't be more thrilled with the outcome. She used the lighting (sun, clouds and even rain), the environment and our personalities to capture moments that bring us to tears every time we look at these photos. My husband has a keen eye as an art director and a photographer and he has nothing but praise for Tori's work. Tori was quick to respond, flexible, always went above and beyond and got our photos back to us quickly.

uture. She went above and beyond as she truly is one of the kindest and most creative person I've ever met. She has the most genuine visions for photographing, and she truly captured our special day in such a beautiful, memorable, and honest way. We'll cherish the photos capturing these precious and special memories forever. Especially considering how you'll be spending so much time with your photographer on your wedding day, you want someone like Tori by your side as she is extremely professional, patient, thoughtful, and the best hype person you'll ever know. She also provides a wonderful guide for preparing and planning for the wedding, beyond the photography aspects. Tori goes above and beyond for her clients, and it truly shows in her photography as well as in our experiences with her. My husband and I were initially concerned about whether the photos would turn out great as we don't always feel comfortable in front of the camera (and didn't always feel photogenic). Tori put those worries to rest extremely quickly as she has helpful prompts and ideas to make it all feel so effortless and natural. I truly could go on and on about how phenomenal she is, and how thankful we are to have had her photograph our wedding and engagement sessions (which also included our dog and she was so wonderful in making it all work). I can't wait to have future memories to capture as I know Tori will photograph them amazingly. Thank you so very much, Tori!

demeanor that can help anyone feel confident to just be themselves in front of the camera. From our first phone consult, I knew I could trust her to document our day and I am so glad I did. Tori went above and beyond from start to finish from our engagement session to the send off at our wedding. She is easy to work with, kind, and exceptionally talented at what she does. We will cherish our photos for years to come. Thank you Tori!!

with her we knew we found the perfect fit. She's incredibly down to earth and helped us feel grounded despite the hectic wedding day energy. She tailors her approach to each client and we were so grateful for her communication style with us. We've never worked with a professional photographer before and were fairly nervous. From our first meeting through receiving our final gallery, Tori was absolutely a joy to work with. We genuinely recommend her 200% !!

table in front of a camera. She did an amazing job making us feel like she was just our friend hanging out with us and managed to find a balance between coaching us for poses/movements and letting us move around and do our own thing. She got my vision for what I wanted for the wedding and she helped drive the timeline for the ceremony, family pictures, portraits, etc. She answered any questions I had on the process quickly, got us previews insanely quickly that we loved, and got our wedding album to us before we expected. We love looking back on the photos and so many of our guests have reached out telling us how amazing they turned out. 1000% recommend hiring Tori for your special event!! She has such an amazing eye for photography and will make you feel comfortable even when you're out of your element.

w funny and fun she is as a photographer. She made me and my husband feel so relaxed and special throughout the entire night. Also to add, she is such a talented photographer that does everything to get the perfect shot! Her pictures really do feel like a work of art and she was able to capture so much emotion in every shot she took. I feel like she really puts in the effort to know her clients which I appreciated so much. I could rave about her all day if someone asked me to because of the experience she provided (as well as the pictures). If you are on the fence about who to use, I would HIGHLY recommend Tori because she gave us pictures that we will cherish forever and I also just had a great time hanging out with her throughout the day. If I had to do everything all over again, the first thing I would do is book Tori as our photographer! You’re the best, Tori!🤍🤍

otos from her so much.

ich truly reflects in the photos. I’ve been photographed by Tori 3 times now (friends wedding, my engagement, and now my elopement!) and it certainly won’t be the last time we book her. I highly recommend Tori for any of your photography needs, she will be worth every penny!!!

though the photos are important, the experience wouldn't have been the same without her kindness, patience, and guidance. But don't get me wrong, the photos are phenomenal! From our engagement shoot to the day of our wedding, Tori gifted us the most precious memories. I know when we need a photographer again, Tori will be the only person we call.

etails that are so intimate. Toris is so personal, friendly, professional. She captured every happy tear that was shed, and the love between Christine and Nick. We are forever grateful for these amazing photos, and recommend her for every wedding! Our venue was intimate and not a lot of time to spare with their timeline, but she never made any of us feel rushed, she was so warm and creative. She gently kept us all on track! Truly magical!

and glad to have the beautiful photos to cherish forever. Tori- you are amazing!

I am so happy we did!! Tori was amazing every step of the way, easy to work with, communicative, STUNNING photos, and truly going above and beyond. Beforehand, Tori was happy to answer my questions and had smooth booking process. Day of, Tori and her husband/additional photographer were a PLEASURE to have. They were so nice, Herman was even the first to start picking up broken glass off the dance floor when someone dropped their glass. And of course her photos are stunning. My husband, myself, our families, and everyone we've shown our photos were amazed how much they captured the magic and love of the day. We'll treasure these photos forever.

tlessly. She made us so comfortable in front of the camera and the pictures are absolutely breathtaking. I was sobbing going through the previews. I will forever recommend Tori. She is an absolute GEM!

art - she has an enormous talent and a very keen eye for light, detail, capturing movement and small moments. I’ve worked with Tori three times in the last year (boudoir, engagement, and wedding) and each time was a wonderful, fulfilling and joyful experience I can’t imagine working with anyone else. I first booked Tori for a boudoir shoot. I was feeling insecure in my body leading up to the wedding and thought a little exposure therapy would help, and it was the best decision I could’ve made! Tori greeted me with champagne and charcuterie, a Beyoncé playlist and the best energy, and coached me through a session that was relaxed and fun! She captured a variety of fun, sexy, artful pieces that were a gift for both me and my husband. We then had our engagement session with Tori and she took some of the most beautiful photos I’ve ever seen. Tori is up for driving several hours to get the perfect vibe for photos, so we drove out to the Olympic Peninsula and took photos around Lake Crescent. The shots were moody and beautiful - very Pacific Northwest. Tori’s skillful direction and commitment to getting the best photos in a diversity of locations and positions was a delight. We trusted her completely. Her talent is so evident. (Even the most cursory look at her social media makes that clear, but I’m here to add my own exclamation point to it!) And now to the wedding, which was the best day of my life and now re-livable through Tori’s wonderful photography! I’m so happy to have had Tori capturing the whole day. Tori, and her wonderful husband and second shooter, Herman (hi Herman!), were kind enough to work with us even though our wedding day coincided with their own anniversary! Herman put my husband totally at ease, and Tori did the same for me, quietly capturing the early part of the day before taking absolutely stunning photos of our walk down the aisle and ceremony. She also captured fun moments between our guests, including perfectly cute moments of love between people who’d traveled great distances to be a part of our ceremony. That too is such a gift. Tori’s portrait photos in between the ceremony and part are also truly a work of art. She thinks on her feet, quickly selecting and adapting ideas for each shot. She sees art and beauty and potential everywhere she turns, and even found opportunities to incorporate our friends into photos as they happened to be passing us on the street on the way to our reception. The result is this beautiful photo where my husband and I are in focus as our friends who traveled thousands of miles walk past us. It’s breathtaking, and Tori just did it on the spot! One of my favorite photos Tori took from above in Cathedral, viewing us from a height in our suit and dress. She asked me to swish my dress, resulting in an absolutely glorious and unique shot: my husband and I embrace in a moment of stillness while my dress is in stunning motion, whirling around us, enveloping us. Incredible. Tori describes her style as artful and honest. I couldn’t agree more. Her photos are truly special, capturing Tori’s unique perspective and demonstrating her skill at this craft. It’s been a joy and privilege to work w/ her, & to have copies of her windows into our life and love forever. I cannot possibly recommend her enough!

grapher. She shot our engagement photos as well as our wedding and we plan on booking her for the future too. Tori was a freaking god send! My husband and I were scrambling trying to find someone to marry us as the person we planned backed out last minute due to nerves. Her husband stepped into the role effortlessly and did a fantastic job. Oh, AND her sister was our second shooter bc we stole her hubby to marry us. We had her family shoot and marry us, talk about a dream team! Also, we were so anxious and awkward to be in front of the camera for the first time during our engagement session. Tori was THE BEST hype gal! She calmed our nerves, made us laugh and we had a fabulous time and will cherish our photos forever! But honestly, this is one decision that you will thank yourself for later.

AMAZING! Her and her assistant Herman were the so pleasant to work with and made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. And most importantly they were PUNCTUAL!! Being on time while managing everything that’s going on in the timeline day of is sooo important! They always had a smile on their faces and totally went with the flow and didn’t make me feel an ounce of worry or stress throughout everything. We love tori and will continue to use her for our many more future milestones to come!

her second shooter were easy to spend time with, made taking photos fun and comfortable, and were up for a 5am wake-up call to hike up a mountain and take day-after sunrise photos. And most importantly, our photos are ABSOLUTELY stunning, from the sweet candid shots and intimate portraits to sweeping landscape photos - they take our breath away every time we look at them (even months later). We can't recommend her enough!

nt, and attentive from the very first time I contacted her. She help me with the proposal setting, she gave me tips, she help me stay calm during the planning, and she took incredible photos we are going to cherish for the rest of our lives. During the session she was very fun to work with, and her ideas for poses produce amazing results. I also love how she is interest in capturing our personalities, we feel like the pictures capture how in love, happy, and nervous we were.

he takes. Simply just put your trust in her and she will definitely deliver a home run! Not only is she a terrific photographer she is a wonderful human being! She even has a vast network of people she can recommend along your wedding planning process! My suggestion is book your venue then book with Tori because trust me you won't regret having her on your team for your wedding day!

e absolute magic!! Herman, her husband is a pretty cool dude as well :) we’ve enjoyed working with them and will miss them now that our wedding is over!

annot recommend her enough.

tural not staged. She even helped me pick out my outfit and offered lots of suggestions to help us capture the images we wanted. She was really responsive and had our photos back quickly for our save the dates. Highly recommend.

ummer. Their attention to detail, their kindness, and their generosity goes above and beyond what we expected. They really became our friends during this process and we couldn't have asked for a better pair of photographers to capture such a monumental day. And not only that, but how cool is it to see a married couple working weddings together and being creative?! It’s really clear how much they love each other and take pride in what they create. We truly lucked out when we chose them and we cannot say enough good things about Tori and Herman.

the time to get to know us and our priorities for the photoshoot; she also provided ideas and direction as needed. The photoshoot itself completely exceeded my expectations! My partner and I haven’t had photos taken before and we didn’t necessarily know how to pose in front of a camera, so we weren’t sure what to expect. Tori knew exactly how provide directions to help us feel comfortable and at ease. She is so creative and talented! She was able to capture truly candid moments, and the photos didn't feel “forced” or “posed,” which I really appreciated. Her turnaround time on editing was quick, and her editing skills are excellent. Her platform for customers to access their photos is so easy to use. I will cherish these photos forever! I would absolutely hire Tori again in the future, and I highly recommend her to anyone.

were above and beyond my expectations. She's amazing, highly recommend booking with her!!

y. She constantly reminded me that we made a good plan for the timeline and that we were ahead of schedule! It was so comforting to be put at ease like that as the timing of the day had been a big stressor for me. She made Brian and I feel so comfortable and so beautiful during the bridal portrait time. We haven’t had professional photos done very often so I was nervous for these too but had absolutely no reason to be! Again, I can’t say enough how wonderful and talented Tori is! She is professional and very communicative and tan every question she had by me in a kind manner. I would hire Tori again in a heartbeat!!!! The photos turned out absolutely amazing!

essionalism, personalization, and not to mention, the best hype girl anyone could ask for. She captures the most genuine photos where you can feel the love and hear songs about love from one photo. She doesn’t only capture beautiful art, she’s a beautiful person to work with. My husband and I can’t thank Tori enough for the way she has captured our love

and vulnerable decision, and Tori quickly gained our trust to capture so many of our major life moments! We aimed to write this review to share the reasons why we trust, love and will continue to go back to Tori for years to come. Working Style: Tori is focused on what is best for her clients, full stop. We had to move our wedding for COVID and she was incredibly patient and graceful as we navigated the madness. Her approach and demeanor were a source of calm for us when it was chaos working across all our vendors. She is responsive, reliable, and helpful if or when you have challenges to deal with- the perfect energy when planning a wedding or event! Business: Tori is best known as a photographer, but make no mistake, she is a brilliant marketer and brand strategist. We partnered with Tori on photography needs for our business, and were so impressed with yes, the images of course, but the strategic conversations we had about growing our business and using photography + brand building to achieve our business goals. She provided a combination of photography and brand consulting that has elevated our business and we could not be more thrilled with the results. Behind the Lens: Simply put, Tori is the ultimate hype person. Her demeanor during shoots will put you at ease, allow you to relax and have fun. Your confidence will be sky high, and she will capture that confidence in the final images. I personally felt this in every shoot we did, as did my wife, especially during her boudoir. Direct quote from my wife, “At first I thought I was doing this for us, but I quickly realized the power of doing a boudoir session for me. Tori made a vulnerable photoshoot feel empowering.” Wedding Day: Tori and Herman were amazing at keeping things on track and everyone’s anxiety at bay. There were several times I thought we were running behind, and they calmly walked me through what was happening, how we were tracking to the schedule, and allowed me to exhale. Trying to orchestrate all the wedding day photos & moving parts with friends and family who are emotional is like walking a tight rope, and both Tori and Herman did it with ease and grace. Photo Style: You can tell from looking at her work, but Tori has a distinct style. I do not believe there is anyone who can capture emotion and put it on a canvas the way she does. Seriously, anyone! Her images from all our shoots, the wedding in particular, are beautiful, thoughtful, bring us back to the emotions we felt during the moment- standing the test of time. Receiving our wedding photos from Tori allowed us to relive the day in a way we didn’t think was possible. Tori + Herman: At the end of the day, working with and giving your business to good people is a great feeling. Tori (+ Herman) are THE BEST people. They are kind, warm, caring and funny. They are people you want to be a part of your community, and your interactions with them will fill up your cup. Simply put, 11/10 would recommend. If there is a spot open, go book it now before someone else does!!

process, and even made a day of timeline to send to all the vendors. Her communication was so amazing throughout the entire process and she even helped troubleshoot day of when things didn't go as planned. THE PICTURES. LET ME TELL YOU. Every single one of the photos was breathtaking. There was not a single picture that I would not hang on my wall. Her creativity, innovation, and guidance helped make the entire process so fun!! I did not hesitate even for a second to book Tori for my wedding, and will continue to use her every time I need a photographer!!!

spread of quality snacks and refreshments to loosen up the fun a lil. Tori has an eye for detail and is quick on her feet with ideas and flow. She listened and directed in a way that makes you feel comfortable and heard. Tori even sent me home with a couple immediate Polaroids she printed out on the spot, which I thought was a lovely touch to the session. If you’re close or can trek it out to Seattle, ask about the 1st Ave loft location! I would highly recommend her for boudoir or any type of shoot because SHE KNOWS WHAT SHES DOING!!

t she’s one of the kindest people. She truly cares about her clients and does everything in her power to make sure the wedding planning process and day are as successful and stress free as possible. Her & Herman completely melted into the day and it felt like they were an addition to the wedding party, not hired vendors. AND THE PICTURES. I’m blown away by her eye and talent. There’s no question, you need to hire Tori for your wedding, engagement, family, boudoir, anything pictures.

than willing to still do a wedding photoshoot for us after we got married at the courthouse. During a literal heatwave, Tori and her husband Herman trecked through our favorite park to capture stunning photos. They helped us capture the joy in what would have otherwise been remembered as a bummer! Tori kept things lighthearted so we could have fun and be in the moment. I am forever thankful we have these pictures and memories.

ecause we were that excited about her. Since then, Tori has been SUPER flexible with covid changing all our plans way too many times. Each time I spoke to Tori about our updated plans I felt such a sense of calm and excitement that I did not feel talking to any other vendors. Talking to Tori (she is super responsive) is just so easy and she quickly felt like a friend I've known for years and years. Fast forward to our wedding day(s) and Tori was just as amazing as she had been all the days leading up to the wedding! Tori went above and beyond to make my husband and I feel so special, comfortable, and have the time of our lives taking pictures. Taking pictures and spending time with Tori was truly one of our favorite parts of the entire wedding experience! We are both not the most comfortable in front of the camera but looking at the pictures and even on the day, you would seriously never know it. She directed us when necessary but also made us feel so comfortable that it was easy to just be ourselves! Tori also took the time to really get to know us and that definitely showed in our pictures and the settings she chose for us to take pictures at. Although we do not have all the pictures back yet (it's only been a week), the very generous amount that she sent for our sneak peeks have been absolutely stunning and I can't wait for the rest of them and to work with Tori more in the future! I am SO incredibly grateful for Tori! A big shoutout to her husband Herman who was just as amazing as she was on the day of the wedding!

photos. Not only was Tori super responsive, she listened to my needs and offered helpful suggestions to capture the look I was going for. My fiancé and I were super nervous having our pictures taking, but Tori make it fun and relaxing. If you are looking for a photographer let me save you some time and stress and book Tori!

o be. Tori is the sweetest person. She makes you feel comfortable and is a great hype person. On top of being the sweetest person she also takes stunning pictures. The moments captured are wonderful and I feel that they show our relationship through them perfectly. Thank you! 💕

able and at ease. We weren’t used to posing in front of the camera and we were SO NERVOUS but now we have no idea why we felt that way because all we had to do was enjoy the moment, each other and the results were priceless memories I cannot wait to hang on my walls and enjoy forever. Thank you Tori for not only beautifully capturing our wedding day, but for giving us a new perspective on ourselves.

tos from our engagement session (and then I couldn't stop looking at them!!). Photo sessions with Tori are not the standard "hold hands and pose," you would expect- her engaging personality makes it super comfortable, and even a ton of fun, to have her take your pictures. In addition to the fantastic photos, she was an integral part of our elopement. Leading up to our elopement, she helped us craft our vision and manifest the aesthetic we were thinking of. Tori also helped us navigate the tricky path of adapting a large wedding to an intimate elopement. She was available for questions, even answering my husband's in-depth queries on different Chuppah's. Tori also kept us on track leading up to the big day, sending us gentle reminders to keep on schedule. On our actual elopement day, Tori was an absolute dream. She helped us finish decorating in a pinch, navigated family drama, and calmed me down when I began crying for no reason (wedding emotions are crazy)!! When we look back on our elopement day, we literally cannot imagine it without Tori. We are still planning a larger wedding when it is safe, partially to have more amazing photos from Tori!

e and changed our venue. We just received our wedding pictures and they blew us away! We had so much fun running around town getting pictures taken with Tori and Herman and it will be something we will always remember.

when you’re not sure what to do in photos! As most events go, there were things that came up and changed last minute. They took all changes with grace. They also did a really awesome job of getting all the photos we wanted efficiently and directed our family well. Love, love, loved working with them!! I’d highly recommend.

ing genuine/natural. Tori guided us through the photo shoot, and the pictures turned out amazing! We had so much fun, and the pictures definitely reflected that. Tori was very knowledgeable about where we wanted our photos taken (Mount Spokane) and chose our meeting time to ensure the best lighting and views. If you want amazing photos and a great experience, definitely have her as your photographer!

he not only captured everything we wanted in our photos but she made you feel so comfortable, like she’s just your friend hanging out taking incredible moody/elegant/beautiful photos. Words can’t express how much these photos mean to us. Tori kept us updated with everything especially everything with Covid and having to reschedule a couple of times but I’m the end everything was worth the wait. We had the best time shooting them and the location Tori chose was magical! If you want someone who really cares about what they do, there’s no doubt you need Tori!

e. Tori knows how to draw out the magic between a couple and capture it beautifully. Our pictures turned out perfectly, and we will treasure them forever. I'm excited to come back for more as our family grows!
