I don’t even know where to begin…Toscano’s was unreal! Every single thing they served was amazing. They are one of three partnered caterers with Johnson’s Locust Hall Farm, and af...
ter our first tasting, we didn’t look any further! Dawn, who helps put together your menu and coordinate all the details, was a pleasure to work with and always happy to accommodate any changes along the way.
The bartenders were friendly and quick, and our signature drinks, a pomegranate margarita and a dirty Shirley Temple, were a hit. During cake cutting, we surprised guests with passed espresso martinis and people went crazy for them. The bartenders must have made over 100+, and every single one was perfection. Huge shoutout to Dawn for suggesting the idea during our tasting when I mentioned incorporating espresso martinis. This was such a fun moment.
Chef Zack’s creativity blew us away. The cocktail hour food was unique and fun, especially the sliders made with tater tots as the bun. The Tuscan table was both stunning and delicious. For dinner, guests are still raving about the root beer–glazed double cut pork chop. People who didn’t order it were jealous! The stuffed chicken was full of flavor, definitely not the typical bland “wedding chicken,” that my husband and I joke about & the strip steak was cooked perfectly. For nearly 120 guests, I am amazed that everything was served hot and perfectly prepared. The staff was impressive, friendly, and so attentive.
Our guests even took to-go boxes for their meals, including us! I’ve never heard of anyone wanting to take their meals home after a wedding, and that speaks to how high-quality and delicious everything was. The staff was fun. We passed out light up bracelets and some of the servers wore them! That was so fun. Truly a million out of ten. Toscano’s made our night unforgettable.
The farm has 3 food caterers you have to choose from when you book with them. For any person that doesn’t go with Toscano, I just simply do not understand! The food tasting we had ...
was out of this world. This is also a family run restaurant, and Zack (the nephew and head chef) is extremely talented. Dawn (the aunt) is the person who handles all the coordination is fun and great to talk with. There were 2 times where instead of having phone calls, me and my family would drive 35 minutes to go to the restaurant to meet with Dawn and to eat lunch because we loved the food and working with them so much. We ended up supplying our liquor, but Toscano provided all beer and wine. Zack was able to get up not 1, not 2, but 3 half kegs of different IPAs from Screamin’ Hill Brewery, and even threw in passed around espresso martinis with the additional espresso we added on (huge hit). The bartenders and wait staff Toscano provided were all extremely kind and helpful (sometimes I feel like bartenders can be cold and uninterested). The steak at dinner was not your average little 3oz. piece – it was a huge piece of meat and everyone said how great the food was. OH, and they sent us home with all the leftovers from cocktail hour. We were eating an assortment of meats, cheeses, chicken & waffles, pastas, flatbreads, etc. for days!
Toscano did a fantastic job catering my wedding. My wedding guests have not stopped raving about the food. Dawn and Toscano’s staff were amazing leading up to the wedding as well a...
s the day-of, handling everything so we could just enjoy our special day. Toscano really listened to our desires for creating a menu that felt like us. I really appreciated that the Toscano team made sure that my husband and I were happy, fed, and always had a drink in our hands. They made it so easy to enjoy our wedding day without any worry.
We used toscanos for our wedding in early September, and oh my gosh, they were amazing. The food was incredible, everything tasted exactly as it did at the tasting. There was so mu...
ch of it, during cocktail hour, everywhere you looked there was something to eat. I am certainly a little biased, but I have never been to a wedding that served food this good and in such huge amounts. We had plenty of guests commenting about how good the food was and a whole bunch of them went home with leftovers! We went back and forth on whether to have a dessert table, and I am so glad we did- the pastries were absolutely delicious. The staff were excellent as well. I highly recommend them! They also took care of our rehearsal dinner and they did not disappoint there either, the bridal party loved all the food.
Toscano's catered our wedding at Johnson's Locust Hall Farm, and we were SO happy with our decision to go with them. A couple of points really stood out to us:
1. Our guests were...
raving about the cocktail hour hors d'oeuvres. The quality, quantity, and variety of food was amazing. There were several stations as well as passed appetizers that were super unique and well-presented.
2. The reception food was Michelin-star quality. Everything was cooked to perfection. The steak was tender, the fish was moist, and the chicken was flavorful. The food was plated like a gourmet restaurant's, and the taste matched.
3. The food was punctual - everything was out at the time promised, and every guest was served within minutes of each other. We've been to weddings where dinner was served super late, and others where the first table has already finished eating before the last one has been plated. Toscano's has it down to a science.
4. Dawn the catering manager, and Zack the chef, are amazing to work with. Dawn was super professional and prompt with the planning, while Zack is so creative and talented. We knew we made the right choice at the tasting, and the food on the wedding day confirmed it.
5. The cost is very reasonable given the quality of food and service. We were definitely satisfied with the value. The Toscano's team went above and beyond - definitely MUCH different than generic wedding food.
6. The servers and bartenders are very experienced, friendly, and professional. Everybody was truly a pleasure to work with.
We are so happy we went with Toscano's for our wedding catering, and highly recommend them for event catering or even just a night out at their restaurant.
We recently got married at Johnson Locust Hall Farm and we used Toscano's to cater our wedding. Chef Zack and his team did an amazing job and our guest are still raving two months...
later about how good the food at our wedding was. The food was the best I ever experienced at a wedding. Everything was plated beautiful and nothing tasted like the typical "catered banquet food." We chose to serve the Harrisa Rubbed Chicken over Grit, NY Strip Steak Au Poive over Lobster Chive, and Crab Cake with grilled Shrimp over poblano corn relish. I was told by multiple people that their steak was grilled to perfection! I am still in disbelief that food can be transported and cooked in a temporary kitchen and taste as if it just came from the actual restaurant's kitchen. Everything came out hot and nothing had a "warmed up" feeling that I was expecting to taste. Toscano's quote was higher than the first cater I reached out to but the difference in price was money well spent. I have no regrets and I would use them again. I am so happy to still hear my guest rave about how beautiful the venue was and how amazing the food was. I did not get to experience cocktail hour due to photography but I was told by our guest that cocktail hour was also amazing. There was a Peach stuff with Crab that our guest said was out of this world, I am jealous I missed it! The catering staff looked very professional in their black and white checker shirts and they were a personable to deal with that evening. I would advise any bride and groom who wants the food at their wedding and the overall experience to be memorable, they will achieve that by using Toscano’s.
The food was absolutely wonderful, from preparation to presentation, very pleasing. We especially enjoyed the lobster bisque shots and the root beer pork! Overall, outstanding foo...

I cannot say enough positive things about my experience working with Toscano's for my wedding. Both Dawn, the catering manager, and Zach, the chef, were incredible! They worked wit...
h me to create an unbelievably unique menu and managed to stay within a very tight budget. At our reception site that didn't have a kitchen they somehow managed to put on a spectacular buffet that all of my guests claimed was the best wedding food ever! They were so accommodating and wanted to make sure that day of I wouldn't be worrying about a single thing. If we ran out of anything they ran out and got more without me even realizing it was happening. Toscano's Ristorante helped make my wedding day the best day ever and helped us start off our marriage feeling like the most blessed couple in the world!!
P.S. Ask about the crab stuffed peaches and the butternut squash ravioli- they are ridiculously delicious!
Toscanos gave us an amazing buffet dinner for our reception. They worked with us (my DH has a severe milk allergy) and created a menu that everyone loved and was talking about. The...
