Touch of Design

-5 times, each time with Rosa checking every detail of the dress. While their prices are on the higher end, you will not better quality anywhere. Their shop is also a small but beautiful bridal boutique where my mother bought her MOB earrings, which she was also very excited about!

did an incredible job with my dress (which was multiple layers!) and was able to adjust the dress when I lost some weight unexpectedly before the wedding! I live out of state and she also worked around my crazy schedule, even staying late a few nights to let me get there after work! She was also altering my mom’s mother of bride dress at the same time!! My dress came out STUNNING! And fit me perfectly! I could not recommend her enough!! Thank you Rosa & Team!

ven tailored my husbands suit when he bought it 2 months before the wedding. I will be returning to Rosa whenever I need anything altered. She is kind, sweet, and makes you feel at ease.

ress! My wedding day was perfect. The bustle was complicated but once we got it right it looked perfect! Make sure you practice the bustle ahead of time!

me and the team at Touch of Design recognized that and did an INCREDIBLE job making my dress perfect. They also made alterations to my mother's veil and made it stunning. I cannot recommend them enough. They are incredible, great at communicating, and do a wonderful job. My wedding day and my dress were perfect and they played a HUGE role in why the day was perfect. I cannot thank them enough. Please choose them for your alterations!!!

th Rosa and the team!!

of my gown. I felt so beautiful on the day of my wedding and would highly recommend Touch of Design!

u could ever trust to make your dream dress fit perfectly. Rosa not only worked on my VERY short timeline, but ensured I was feeling confident at every step. She took her time and showed incredible attention to detail. I was very anxious about my dress being cut up and changed but Rosa helped reduce my anxiety and I left every appointment feeling great. My dress was not only heavy, intricate lace and beading, but also required a large bustle and Rosa executed everything perfectly!!! There are not enough words I can write to say how incredible Rosa and her team are but I can 100% say RUN don’t walk to secure your appointment with her!!

nother fitting and since my next one was so far out she explained that I should check my measurements at home and call her immediately if anything changed by an inch. Rosa was a dream to work with. She made the dress fit my body and made me feel confident and beautiful on my wedding day.

very knowledgeable about wedding dress construction and patterns, and I always felt like my dress was safe in her hands. Thank you Rosa and team for making my dress perfect for my wedding!

, and always made me feel comfortable. I chose Touch of Design despite it being a 50 minute drive because their attention to detail and professionalism truly stand out. I absolutely love how my dress turned out. They deconstructed it, tailored it perfectly to my body, and put it back together so seamlessly you’d never know it had been altered. I highly recommend Touch of Design to any bride or anyone who wants their dress to be nothing short of perfect.

sa worked hard to make sure I knew all my options and explained everything in clear terms. Her and her team worked tirelessly to essentially restructure my dress to fit me perfectly. I also wanted to add something extra to my dress for the ceremony. Rosa listened attentively to my ideas and worked with me to create something beautiful. I am so grateful for everyone at Touch of Design for tailoring and designing my dream wedding dress!

originally purchased was beautiful, but they took it to the next level—making it truly mine. The fit was absolutely flawless—better than anything I've ever worn in my life. One of my favorite touches was how they ingeniously added removable sleeves with discreet clips. It was such a thoughtful and elegant solution, allowing me to keep the sleeves secure throughout the day but also giving me the freedom to take them off when I wanted a different look. More than just the technical work, Rosa and her team made me feel so beautiful and supported every step of the way. Their kindness, attention to detail, and genuine care made the experience unforgettable. Everything turned out perfect, and I’m beyond grateful to have found them. Thank you for making my dream dress a reality!

lder sleeves to my dress so you know they go above and beyond!

s nearly $3,000 — and that was with a discount for my dress not being ready on time. I spent over six months going back and forth for fittings, and each time I showed up, nothing had been done. Despite visiting over 10 times, my dress was never ready, and every single visit was met with excuses and a new delayed pick-up date. The level of professionalism was absolutely shocking. The day I finally picked it up, I was forced to wait another 2 hours while multiple workers were rushing to finish my dress. This is probably why my bustle broke during my reception. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Completely unprofessional and unreliable. Save yourself the frustration and find someone else.

th multiple layers and I was very impressed. While I did have multiple appointments with her, it is because she is methodical and detail oriented with what she does. She is also very sweet and did an excellent job on two other bridesmaid dresses for me. I would highly recommend.

ell in love with it at the bridal shop. This was very stressful experience for me as it was a very form fitting and detail oriented dress with lace and sequins throughout its entirety. After picking it up from the place I bought it, and the first few fittings, I thought I had picked the wrong dress! But Rosa and her team did an incredible job and transformed it into everything I fell in love with and more! My dress fit like a glove, and I was even able to take the straps off to dance the night away and it fit so well my non-strapless dress was able to convert into a strapless dress that continued to fit like a glove comfortably all night long. I truly could not have wished for a better seamstress to alter my dream dress for my dream wedding. There were a lot of emotions I carried throughout this process, from trying to feel comfortable in a form fitting dress when I do not usually wear fitted clothes, to trying to get a dress to fit a larger chest when the rest of my body is more petite, to seeing it with all the lace off so they could fit it to me perfectly before stitching it all back together, to then seeing the final product be everything I ever dreamed of! Every team member made me feel comfortable and at ease, and Rosa knew exactly what exercise tips to share to get certain spots looking exactly how I wanted, and was able to help me feel more comfortable in my own skin. I drove an hour to and from dress fittings countless times coming from Boston, but I am so happy I went with Touch of Design based on a friends recommendation! It sure was worth all the miles I drove!! I will continue going to Touch of Design for all my future alterations!

Google search on bridal alterations. Rosa, owner of Touch of Design was highly recommended. I read reviews on The Knot. I contacted Touch of Design and was grateful that Rosa was able to do the alterations. Rosa was thoughtful, kind and listened to my requests for alterations. She also shared her suggestions. Rosa is an expert in her craft. She earned my trust on our first encounter. She expertly tailored my gown to perfection. She took the time to video her bustling the dress so my daughter has a reference on the day of the wedding. I left my last fitting feeling beautiful in an expertly tailored gown. Rosa and her team were wonderful and far surpassed my expectations.

ed and a perfectionist. She patiently and slowly altered my dress over several different appointments until the dress fit like a glove. I appreciated Rosa's honest advice and also setting reasonable expectations throughout the process. She was also good with verifying each change with me and asking my preference before making the changes. Thanks to Touch of Design, I felt beautiful on my big day!! Will be returning in the future if I need other items altered.

I felt perfect as is in my dress and I’m so happy with how it came out! They took the time to make it amazing.

though my original dress was tailored to me, it did not zip up all the way. So for months I worried about losing weight and had nightmares about the dress not closing on my wedding day. When I went to see Rosa, she immediately quieted my concern and redid the entire back zipper to create a shape that fit me in a way that was even more beautiful than the original. With all of my bridesmaids living far away, Rosa's team filmed themselves doing my bustle as a guide for my girls on the big day. Just one of many examples of this team going above and beyond. Their work is thorough, efficient, and beautiful. I cannot recommend them enough. THANK YOU ROSA AND TEAM!

ses and would highly recommend her!

stantly made me feel comfortable in discussing what I wanted done to the dress and where she saw areas that could be altered for the dress to fit perfectly. She was transparent about pricing and we were able to schedule my two fitting appointments and pick up date from there. At each appointment, Rosa asked me how I felt, explained everything she was doing, and eased any anxiety I had. My dress had a lot of lace so during the alterations process I was nervous of how the dress would fully come together. Today I picked up my dress and I am IN LOVE. It is perfect and I can’t wait to wear it on my big day! I was also able to purchase a veil last minute from the store which is great quality and was a fair price. I will continue going to Rosa going forward for any alterations I need and will be encouraging others to do the same. Thank you so much Rosa!!!

ine interest and provided valuable insights that truly eased my worries about the process. She was able to take in the dress even with a mesh backing. Throughout the fitting sessions, she was incredibly accommodating, working around my schedule and making me feel comfortable every step of the way. I missed an appointment but was able to reschedule in a timely manner and everything turned out perfect! Her expertise and attention to detail really shone through, resulting in a wedding dress that was not only stunning but fit me like a glove. The bustle was done incredibly well! The craftsmanship was impeccable; every stitch reflected her skill and dedication. I felt absolutely beautiful on my wedding day, and I owe so much of that to Rosa and everyone that helped me at Touch of Design in Easton MA. If you're looking for a seamstress who combines professionalism with a personal touch, look no further—she's simply the best!

slipping. Rosa and her team are amazing, knowledgeable in their craft, and passionate, as such, I returned to have my wedding dress altered. I had it fitted, and a bustle added, and they provided amazing recommendations throughout the whole process. There were multiple follow up appointments to ensure everything still fit perfectly. The final appointment, I was shown how to do the bustle, as well as had a video taken to show my bridesmaids who would help me. It was easy to do, and the dress made me feel like a goddess on my wedding day. Not only do I HIGHLY recommend coming here for alterations, I will also be going back for any further alterations needed in the future.

it perfectly, and I love the new design suggested by Rosa. Very pleased with the results and I highly recommend Touch of Design.

th wedding gown and the veil. She and her staff were great.

business seem reputable, but this appears to be a cover for her shoddy work. From January to just last weekend, my sister had over 10 fittings here. Multiple times throughout this process and especially more towards the end, Rosa would constantly ask us to send her photos and notes of alterations to make. Yet, she would never reference these and then forget that these were sent by the time the next fitting rolled around. The red flags appeared when she would request these since this should be her job to notate, keep track of, and review between fittings. Along with this, Rosa would tack on additional charges that brought the bill close to $2k by the end of this nightmare. When the final fitting arrived, the dress had zero progress since the previous fitting. The alterations that we had discussed countless times with Rosa were not implemented. Something as simple as a twisted strap that had been bothering my sister for months was still untouched. We shared our anxieties with Rosa and Fiona (one of her employees) and they claimed it would be all done for pickup. To our dismay and utter disappointment, this was not the case. Upon pickup 10 days later, the dress looked exactly the same. The entire bodice section looked butchered and like two separate pieces instead of that delicate, stunning dress that we originally brought to this place. After we heavily expressed our shock and questioned Rosa, she said she would tweak the dress within the span of a day and a half. When we came back that same weekend, Rosa did a rush job on my sister's dress to get it to a more finished, yet still incomplete state. Some of the floral appliqué was still upright, the cups weren't sewn in (we didn't trust Rosa at this point and she wasn't positioning these correctly), and it wasn't steamed. She had the audacity to not even express her apologies and didn't compensate through a refund. In fact, she demanded that we pay her for the full remaining balance after our entire ordeal (dress wasn't complete by the contractual date and wasn't done to how we agreed it should look). We were forced to pay Rosa for the hem and bustle, which weren't done correctly by her. Since we picked it up last weekend, we had to bring it to another seamstress to fix and complete the remaining alterations. Thankfully this new seamstress was able to take my sister's dress last-minute and noted that she has to fix what Rosa had done and finally complete this dress to how it should be. The true icing on the cake is that Rosa admitted to me that she doesn't inspect and look at the work that her staff does on the garments, which is highly UNPROFESSIONAL. How can a business owner allow this work to slip by and feel like it's okay? Then, she doesn't feel compelled to make it right for the customer. It is evident that she is a huge money-grubber with no care for her faults and the customer experience. In my opinion, Rosa masquerades her business as one that is top-notch, when the opposite is actually true. As my sister said, Rosa should consider rebranding her store to "Touch of Lies."

y mom's dress. They came out beautifully! Now Rosa is doing my wedding dress and my mom's Mother of the Bride dress. I could not be happier with the process! Rosa is precise and timely. All of my bridesmaids will be getting their alterations done at Touch of Design! Rosa and her team are very kind and professional! I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend Rosa to do all of your dress alterations!

ing. Initially, the business seemed professional, but this turned out to be a facade to lure in brides. The owner, Rosa, uses excessive flattery during fittings. I attended around 10 fittings with Rosa, and by April, I noticed she was adding extra charges, claiming more work was needed than originally discussed. The prices were heavily inflated, and she charged whatever she felt at the time—there was no clear pricing list. Throughout the process, very little work was done on the dress despite these multiple fittings. Rosa even asked my mom and sister to take notes on what needed to be done like her assistants, which was bizarre. I sent reference photos via email and text throughout the process, but at the final fitting and pickup date, Rosa asked for the same photos again, proving she wasn’t referencing them. This led to my dress looking drastically different than what we had discussed. I repeatedly pointed out issues that still needed to be fixed, only to be told they would be handled at the final fitting. However, at that fitting, the dress was in terrible shape and unaltered (8 months into them having the dress)—split into two pieces, missing buttons, and with straps sewn on incorrectly. Despite all these issues, Rosa assured us everything would be fixed by the pickup date on 8/16. However, when we arrived for pickup, nothing had been done. I had called earlier that week, and my mom spoke directly with Rosa, both of us confirming that the dress was being worked on and would be ready. But when we arrived, the dress was untouched. I was upset and vocalized my concerns. Rosa lied and did not deliver, despite having over 8 months to do the work. She gaslighted us all week about the dress being ready, which was unacceptable. When I went for the new pickup date, we spent another 2+ hours pointing out unresolved issues. Rosa still demanded an additional $580 on top of the $1,260 we had already paid, bringing the total cost close to $2,000—almost the price of the dress itself. Despite the missed deadlines and the incomplete work, Rosa refused a refund or any sort of discount, showing she doesn't believe in righting her wrongs. I explained that this was outrageous to ask for the full amount and still not have things done as they should be. She simply shut down and said, “you have to pay, and I don’t care.” We paid. She stopped looking at us in the eye and kept pointing to the credit card reader. If you are a bride who had a good experience, I’m happy for you. Unfortunately, our experience, along with that of many other brides, was extremely negative. Rosa hides away dissatisfied brides and tries to smooth things over when other customers are present, covering up the truth that her work is missing and her promises empty. For future brides, I urge you not to ignore the bad reviews. This ordeal could have been avoided if the work had been done correctly and on time. Instead, Rosa crammed 8 months of work into 2 days, and it shows. An alterations business should be run professionally, not like a kid who forgot to do their homework. Rosa also doesn't work on the dresses. She's there at the fittings and that's about it. She's the face of the company and her workers have a free-for-all on your expensive gowns. I wish I knew that before I hired her.

ilor and design made me so grateful to have her as my seamstress for my most important day. Rosa can take a dress and turn it into a custom gown, designed specifically for your body. She not only alters it, but she designs the alterations with you, every step of the process. Rosa is transparent with pricing, especially with each adjustment along the way. She does her best to give you multiple alteration options to work within your budget. She cared for every detail to make sure it was the perfect fit. Aside from her talent, she is incredibly kind and puts your needs first. She goes out of her way to spend as much time as you need during the appointments and offers for you to come as often as you want for fittings. She made me feel so confident in my wedding gown and I look back on pictures with so much appreciation for her craft. I cannot recommend Rosa enough!

ly recommend Rosa and her team!

he really does focus on every single detail to ensure everything fits perfectly. Very often, Rosa would stay very late working with me on my dress, to ensure I loved any change made. Thank you so much Rosa for your amazing job!!!!

o give it back. She went to all of the clients in the shop telling them how rude I was and shoving the dress in everyone’s face. Communication - Rosa is a master gaslighter. Minimizing blatant destruction of your dress into “this is part of my process” And when caught in lies and deception, she reacts in anger and retaliation. Quality - in 8 weeks a $10,000 dress has been deconstructed and now has a hole in the bodice-right between your breasts - it is missing the beautiful Hand sewn flowers and delicate beading; the dress no longer fits or hangs properly . When we challenged the hole - she claimed it was NOT a hole and demanded to see photo proof of hole. What else has been ruined is tbd because we are at a new tailor. Closing: We called to give notice we would be picking up the dress and her services were no longer needed. She confirmed it would be ready. When we arrived the dress was not ready as she had panicked, and started to work on it - assume to cover up the hole. At arrival she refused to give me the dress. She wanted money - I said the deposit should cover the work since most of the work so far was her having to fix what she had ruined. I asked if I paid - would she give me the dress. She confirmed she would. When I paid her - she again refused to give me the dress until I signed a paper. I challenged the need but she was not giving me the dress back so relented. Signing “unfinished” with my signature. She then refused to accept my signature and demanded to see my license. I signed again but her pen wasn’t working. She refused that. It was surreal. **this is one of your well decorated vendors and should be removed before she ruins someone else’s dress**

since I was in middle school- she is so incredibly skilled as a seamstress! She does not rest until she knows that every small detail is exactly right. She made my dress fit better than I could have even imagined. And the fit and bustle were so comfortable on my wedding day. She cares so much for her clients, and that deep care is so evident in her work and in our times together during the fitting. She even helped me find jewelry and a veil! Also, Rosa’s entire team is so skilled and wonderful. They completely took the stress out of the process, because I knew how talented and professional they were. I recommend Rosa and her team so highly!

sa, I knew I was in good hands. She had me coming in for multiple appointments after making adjustments, making sure everything fit perfectly. The total cost was a bit pricey but I do believe you get what you pay for. My dress fit absolutely perfect on my wedding day. Thank you Rosa!

in up until the last minute to make sure the dress fit perfectly as I continued to try and lose a few pounds. Easton was about an hour from me, but she was well worth the time and money for her perfectionism! I’d definitely recommend going to Rosa for your big day!

a premium. For me, my dress and alterations were really important to me. So I didn’t want to just go find the “cheapest option”. I loved how it turned out and wouldn’t have changed a thing and received so many compliments. Highly recommend!

elected Rosa to do my alterations - even though I live in Watertown and she is in Easton and that is a bit of a hike, it was SO worth it. Shoutout to VOWS for recommending her! Rosa has an amazing eye for things you'd never even realize that you needed. Piece by piece, edit by edit, her team crafted my wedding dress to fit like a glove. Her services don't stop there though - she built the most STUNNING bustle, the Rosa bustle, that tucked up under my dress and still allowed me to show off my beautiful skirt and the button design. It was exactly what I envisioned! Rosa also took a veil I bought off Amazon and altered it to look bridal and elegant. Finally, she altered my Mom's dress as well - she had visited another shop closer to home beforehand who sent her home with a horribly altered dress that didn't fit her at all. Rosa was more than happy to come to the rescue. That is what makes her and Touch of Design so special. They are here for their brides, no matter what. I loved getting to know the entire team at Touch of Design - thank you all so much for the conversations, the confidence boost, and making my mom and I feel like we were at home. I cannot wait to recommend Touch of Design to all of my friends for their weddings - thank you again Rosa!!

xplained everything and reassured me what she was doing and how it would look. She always asked for my thoughts, confirmed them, showed me what it would look like, and provided guidance when I asked. I loved my dress from the start, but goodness did I love it even more after she made sure it fit and hugged my body in all the right places!

and she was very accommodating. She also created her own bustle design which worked beautifully with my dress, maintaining its clean lines and elegant look.
