We had the absolute best event at Tourmaline. The staff was amazing as was the food. The space was warm and welcoming and every little last detail was perfect.
We had our wedding at Tourmaline on September 6, 2026. Since the first time we toured the venue, we fell in love. The space is so beautiful and elegant. It was perfect for our wedd...
ing of about 50 people. We wanted our wedding to feel very intimate, and Tourmaline was the perfect space for that. Our wedding day was magical, in large part thanks to the efforts of Rebecca, Yvan, and the staff at Tourmaline. First, the food was absolutely amazing. My husband and I are both foodies, and all of the food served at our wedding exceeded our expectations. Our guests also raved about the hors d'oeuvres. Additionally, Rebecca was so attentive to my husband and me throughout the reception. We really felt taken care of. We are so happy that we chose Tourmaline for our wedding, and we wholeheartedly recommend hosting your next event there.
My husband and I got married at Tourmaline on 3/13/26. We are both from Forest Hills, and it was so special to us to have our small 45-person wedding held in a location where we me...
t and grew up.
We have nothing but wonderful things to say about our experience preparing for our wedding dinner as well as how it all went on the big day.
Rebecca was extremely communicative and clear throughout the planning process. She was always available to email and speak on the phone to address any questions we had, big or small.
We did not hire a DJ and instead chose to provide our own music, and Rebecca walked us through the process of bringing our own playlists (they even provided us an additional speaker for a small fee).
The venue was spotless, beautiful, open and airy, with warm lighting that was both welcoming and intimate.
The service was impeccable and staff was friendly and helpful.
As food and beverages are one of the most important parts of an event for my husband and me, I won't cut corners on describing how that side of things went! We chose the family style/buffet dinner option with 2 cocktail hour food stations, as well as the top shelf full open bar. I can say that absolutely everything was incredible. We went with:
3 Mains:
-Chicken Cordon Bleu
-Short Ribs in bordelaise
-Vegetarian Paella
3 Sides:
-Potatoes Dauphinoise
-Penne a la Vodka
-Garden Salad with Balsamic Vinaigrette
Our two stations were the cheese and charcuterie, as well as the elegant raw bar (oysters, shrimp, clams, mussels).
Everything was absolutely outstanding, with a crowd favorite being the short ribs and a personal favorite of mine being the chicken cordon bleu. However, I could not name one thing that was subpar. As a big seafood fan, I was tickled pink to be able to have oysters at my wedding. (Even more tickled pink to wake up the next morning and have leftovers for breakfast, neatly packaged by staff). Also to note: they were willing to make almost anything gluten free by request, and they even prepared a separate bowl of plain pasta for my stepson.
My guests all commented how friendly the bartenders were and how nice it was to have them remember their drinks each time they went up for more!
We added the additional hour to our package and were so happy we did; the 3 hours would have flown by; 4 hours really seemed to be the sweet spot for dinner, drinks, and dancing.
Overall, the care, attention, and service that were provided in our wedding experience was top notch and I would give Tourmaline nothing less than 5 stars for making our wedding day unforgettable.
Thank you, Rebecca and Yvan!

A heartfelt thank you to Rebecca, Chef Yvan and the team — the food was outstanding, and the service was superb. The cocktail hour menu was a hit with our guests and dinner selections (we went with the buffet) were tasty and memorable. Guests still rave about how good the drinks were also.
The entire team was professional, attentive, and made us feel truly valued. Their seamless coordination allowed us to relax and enjoy every moment with our loved ones, which meant so much to us.
What stood out most was the venue’s flexibility and willingness to accommodate our requests. They collaborated with us to ensure every detail reflected our vision, creating a truly personalized celebration.

Yvan who is the chef of My kitchen curated such a exceptional and stellar experience with his exquisite skills with our reception and menu selections. Our guests raved about coming in and seeing him cook everything right before their eyes.
The various drink selections and desserts offered for our guests were amazing and truly divine. This is the space for your next wedding! We loved Luz who also made sure to contact us through every meeting. The staff and the servers went above and beyond to serve me and my husband with excellent service and hospitality. We love My Kitchen and will be returning for future events.

hout the entire process to bring our event to life. She answered all of our questions in a timely manner via email and during our in-person visit as well. She was also very fair in helping us negotiate minor menu changes and space allocations so the event was totally customized to our needs.
The day of the party the staff was available to help in setting up our decor, which was a huge relief. They were all also very attentive to our guests, ensuring they were welcomed warmly and had a drink upon arrival. We opted for a family-style brunch and everyone raved about the food. It was absolutely delicious and abundant. Even the freshly baked pastries were incredible.
Throughout the event, the coordinator and owner checked in with my frequently to ask if I needed anything which was such a nice touch. We were so happy to our decision to support this wonderful local business and would highly recommend them!

ea for the ceremony. Our guests all complimented the set up and food. Chef Yvan prepared a delicious meal, we especially enjoyed the shakshouka. Rebecca was very organized and available to answer any questions we had while planning. Day of, Rebecca and her staff were great at communicating and making sure we were happy and on schedule. Our only (very minor) feedback was that the cut off for the music was a bit abrupt, but that being said we were appreciative to save on a DJ and were very happy about the audio set up. Very reasonable pricing for the area. Would definitely recommend!
I cannot speak highly enough of Rebecca, Yvan and everyone at My Kitchen. My husband and I had our long overdue wedding celebration here on Saturday and it was absolutely a dream. ...
Rebecca is an all star and was amazing from start to finish. The communication and attention to detail was 10/10 and I felt super safe in her hands. Yvan smashed it out of the park with the food, I have never heard so many rave reviews from our friends and family in my life. Most importantly, they are so kind. Everyone was unbelievably impressed, I would host another event with them in a heartbeat and hope someone else does so I can go back!!!

olutely incredible. Calming all of my nerves and not having us lift a finger. The staff is professional and kind, and the food is out of this world! All of my 15 in-person guests had an amazing time and felt especially safe as My Kitchen follows strict COVID 19 Guidelines. Even having the option of entertaining my guests on Zoom wasn't an issue. From set up to clean up, they did it all. I will absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for an event venue!
Absolutely beautiful wedding

st my wedding. The outdoor patio is where we had our intimate wedding of 23 people. The space was PERFECT: quaint, elegant, natural, and photographed so well. Dhanny, the owner, is a saint - she responded to all my emails quickly and kept an unwavering commitment to Covid protocols while offering us suggestions and optimism when we faced challenges/state restrictions. The food was delicious, you can tell it’s cooked with love.
Our guests loved the space, and me and hubs loved it as well. Absolutely no regrets - I’m already thinking of any other opportunities to book the space again later.
Although Dhanny is a lovely person I must say I am very disappointed in this venue. I usually don't write bad reviews but it must be brought to their attention that what they're do...
ing may be financially beneficial but when you break the customer service aspect of trust it is not ok. They are currently offering a City Hall package on their website for wedding/ reception accommodations . They have since obviously received business with this offer previously but Obiviously realized they could get more for it and are saying they are not honoring that special. That isn't the problem the problem is you false advertise on your website and you get potential customers in for a visit with high hopes and then you tell them that the special is still going on but not right now . If the special is not available word of advise as good management is to take the special off your website . It is very inconvenient and misleading in the customer approach tactics. It was extremely unprofessional to say oh we are still doing it just not now . So if your doing it but not now it shouldn't be on your website or your website should specify the dates it is available. I was offered a package that was basically double what the special was but nothing extra was put in for the double amount. This makes the customer feel like because you can charge more that's the only reason you are doing it . If your going to double the price their should be some modifications as to what comes with it as well not only because you can make it worth that price if you previously and claim to still be doing it for half the price ..Sometimes it's not only about the money but the customer experience when you are building customer relationship for possible long term future endeavors. Very disappointed after being mislead by your own advertisement which leaves only you as to blame and not the customer . I understand you have to run a business but without good customer relationships the business does not run either. Satisfied customers return and refer other business .

nning process flow smoothly.......I’ve heard weddings can be super stressful....and on top of everything else we were able to plan our wedding throughout one of the most difficult times in American history. There were some times my husband and I argued about little details and Dhanny kept our spirits up and reminded us of why we were getting married in the first place. The set up for our wedding day was more beautiful than we could have imagined, it was everything we wanted and then some!! Dhanny’s husband Joe is the chef, and his food is AWESOME!!! We love food!! And the food is superb!!!!! I can go on for hours describing how delicious the food was on our wedding. Having our wedding at My Kitchen was the best decision!!! To all the engaged couples out there, have your wedding at My Kitchen, you won’t regret it!!!
My Husband and I just recently hosted a intimate wedding ceremony & reception at My Kitchen and we are still glowing from how beautifully everything turned out. I found My Kitchen ...
searching for an intimate venue that was affordable with quality service & food. This place exceeded my expectations! I sure did luck out finding this venue ... Dhanny and Chef Joe did not disappoint, from the moment I met them I felt like family and they made my wedding day an unforgettable memory for my family & I. We will most definitely be hosting future events with My Kitchen. Thank you again Dhanny & Chef Joe xoxo
Oh what a fun and joyful wedding we had! It is been over 2 months and still getting positive feedback for our reception from our guests. It went so easy and carefree that I just...
want to live the day over again and again. The reception area is welcoming, clean beautiful and spacious and the backyard is enchanting with the trees and flowers perfect for any type of ceremony, and a pleasant cocktail hour with appetizers right after that. We had about 50 guests including us most of them with special needs children - I point this out because I had to make sure it will be safe for all. We went by family style and gosh that food! It was delicious! Chef Joe sure knows his craft! The salmon...that salmon became legendary in our circles.
Dhanny helped me so much her recommendations of florist and DJ saved a lot of time for me. She is a true professional, very knowledgeable and makes you feel special. Besides professional help I can tell that I got all kind of other support specially when I felt so overwhelmed I just didn't know where to go how to start anything at all.
For example it was difficult to chose the theme color because I LOVE colors and Dhanny tamed everything for me to a simple beautiful cute clean look. When I walked in for the first time .... I was in awe it looked so pretty! We also got the chance to take pics next door for our 1950's vibe thanks to Dhanny... and for that thankyouthankyouthankyou infinity!
To be honest I picked My Kitchen 3 years ago based on pictures I have seen on The Knot. You can tell I did not rush. For me My Kitchen was love at first sight. And my love at first sight was the best choice we made to get married and party.
Thank you Dhanny and Chef Joe for making that day of September 15th one of the best day of our lives!

Thank you!
I walked in My Kitchen based on the reviews i saw on here. I will be honest, out of all of the places i searched this is the one place i actually went to in person. When you drive ...
up it looks like the outside of a restaurant, but once you enter it literally is like you walked into another world. I planned my wedding in less than a month, it was originally suppose to be just signing of paper but my mother wanted me to do a little more. I have never planned a wedding before but i chose to start here. I sincerely believe God lead me here. Dhanny is the sweetest person and genuinely cared about helping us. We didn't have anything, not flowers, nor cake. She suggested places to us and showed us ideas. She has an art at this and was truly helpful. The place is so beautiful. My wedding only had 40 guest, originally was suppose to be 25 but you know how people add on last minute, she was great with this, extremely helpful. The food was amazing omg. Her husband is the chef and omg the food was so good, one of my guests went up for food like 5 times (yes my husbands family still laughs about it). We chose to do buffet. We also chose not to assign seats since people switch seats anyways. Dhanny helped with the decor, she made it look so beautiful. she told me to get a few items and she would do the rest and she made it perfect. Honestly it looked amazing. We did the cocktail hour in the back outdoor area and it was awesome. the appetizers were so delicious. The bar had all kinds of liquor and delicious cocktails. I literally ordered things on amazon and she put everything together, even had my cake done down the block (yes the cake was so good) and didn't have to worry about having someone bring it since the place brings it for you. The florist a few doors away as well was awesome. Both were recommended by Dhanny. Its the perfect place for your wedding of different sizes. Ive seen her have different events there and they really make it fabulous. I think i would want to have my baby shower here once we decide to have kids because I've seen what she does for those as well. Trust me when i say, go look at the place for yourself, I certainly am glad i did.
I was outraged with the service that I received from My Kitchen, with Dhanny in particular. I had ordered numerous trays of food for my wedding and was excited with working with My...
Kitchen. After multiple interactions, via email and over the phone, I had thought that I was going to have more than enough food for my guests and had no worries. However, the day of my wedding hours before my guests arrive I called the restaurant to confirm pick up, Dhanny told me that she NEVER made my order. She proceeded to blame me, and gave me some story that another bride with a similar name had decided to use her restaurant and assumed that we were the same couple. I was rather upset because she had my name, specific order, email, and phone number. I refuse to believe that all of the other couple's information was identical to mine. What made matters worse is that rather than trying to help me figure something out all she did was insist that it was my fault. Never did she make the attempt to assist me. Luckily with the help of my family and friends I was able to find food to feed my guests. I would never use My Kitchen or recommend them to anybody. They need a better system and better communication to insure that they don't "confuse" couple's weddings again.

hese beautiful white French doors that lead onto a wooden deck was perfection!
They provide excellent service and have impeccable food! Dhanny was able to meet with me and help me plan my last minute wedding in just 4 weeks.
My husband and I opted for the City Hall Wedding Package and it was everything we wanted at a very affordable price!! Dhanny was even able to help me with a cake vendor, which was absolutely delicious! I could have not asked for a more perfect day!

ays special attention to every detail, and all your needs and desires this is the place. Even with my very busy schedule and hardly any time to plan, Dhanny pulled it all together and made magic happen. What can I say the CHEF nailed it!!! My guests are still talking about the food! Shazar the in house photographer was super amazing and captured every moment beautifully. Great hospitality, beautifully decorated, excellent service, I wished the night would never end. Thank you so much Dhanny and Joe, you guys are the best!!!

inquire about her place until even after my wedding. Dhanny went above and beyond, everything was perfect, the decorations were exactly what I had asked for, the food was delicious. My guests were happy. They all had nothing but good things to say about the venue, the food and the staff. No one never had an empty glass. The staff made sure everyone had something to drink at all times. I had guests telling me how impressed they were with the service. I'm very happy I found My Kitchen for our special day. Thank you so much for making our wedding day extra special!

I knew ibwouls not forget anything or leave anything out as Danny's checklist far exceeded mine. She even remembered things I didn't think of! I would have never been the stress free bride I was without her! All of my guests had an outstanding time and are raving over the food and stupendous service they received.
Thank you to Dhanny and Chef Joe for making our dream wedding come true!!!!!

The venue was decorated so beautifully, and Dhanny coordinated the events of the wedding perfectly! The food was delicious! Everything was perfect! a short time frame soo much easier. Chef Joe can do no wrong as every dish that comes out of his kitchen is delicious! All of our guests raved about the food and ambiance of My Kitchen. It's a lovely, bright, warm space that was the perfect size for us. Some married couples even wished they had held their weddings there! I highly recommend them.

he last goodbye on our wedding day, Dhanny was a breeze and a pleasure to work with as the event coordinator. She knows weddings, and she knows how to guide brides through the process. Dhanny provided us with many helpful ideas and good common-sense advice. She also made sure that everyone and everything moved along smoothly for the ceremony and reception.
The space is beautifully kept and perfect for a more intimate wedding or event. It is decorated in a clean neutral way that would work with almost any style, and it does not need a lot of extra decoration to make it pretty. All we really had to bring in were centerpieces/table accents. The reception package included chair covers and sashes as well as table runners.
We had our ceremony in the lovely backyard on a chilly but lovely day in March. Cocktails and dinner were inside, and our guests felt cozy and comfortable. Chef Joe’s hors d'oeuvres and dinner were a hit with the crowd. The servers were patient and professional.
As I hope is obvious at this point in the review, we highly recommend My Kitchen to any couple planning a wedding!
Thanks, Dhanny and Chef Joe, for helping us have a great start to our life together!

road so we weren't able to go to the venue in person, but Dhanny communicated with us every step of the way- from emails and whatsapp messages to skype calls, she helped us with everything. She also worked within our budget, which was tight. We didn't go over the budget at all!
The outdoor patio that they have is just gorgeous- it's a beautiful setting for a wedding ceremony.
We really couldn't have asked for a better day, or a better venue!
When I first found my kitchen, it was because my husband and I were looking for something affordable and close to home. When we walked in and got to meet Dhanny and joe, it was a ...
done deal. We felt how genuine they both were in making our day exactly that, OURS. Not only did we find what we want, everything was exceptional and above expectations.
I was planning a wedding on my own and I couldn't have asked for anyone better to have my back. Dhanny had all the answers and was super supportive for what my vision was.
The day of or August wedding, I walked in and was left breathless. She had done an amazing job with the decor. The severs were attentive (I never didn't have a drink in hand), food was delicious, and the weather was perfect for my outdoor ceremony. I literally didn't have to worry about anything!
I highly recommend my kitchen for any of your events as well as for a dinner date night!
LOVE YOU GUYS!

at every step. Our guests were thoroughly impressed with the level of service and professionalism and the quality of food provided by My Kitchen. We highly recommend My Kitchen to anyone looking to have an intimate event!
My wedding was on 4/22,/2017, and it was a dream come true. I will always remember the first day my Husband and I walked into My Kitchen in May of 2016. We were looking for a weddi...
ng venue that felt warm; too many venues had a cold feel to us. We have even been to weddings receptions that felt generic and impersonal. We walked in and loved the look; then we met Dhanny. She has to be one of the most caring people I have ever met. She greeted us with love, even though we had just met. She gave us a rundown of what to expect when venue shopping. We were right at the beginning stages, and she wanted us to be prepared. She never tried to sell us. She stepped away for a moment and my then fiance and I looked at each other and agreed right away, this was the place. Either way, we continued to shop around (as Dhanny also advised)! Looking at other venues only confirmed that My Kitchen was the way to go.
My Husband and I had said, if we had a house, that's where we'd want to host a wedding. The best way to describe My Kitchen, is an extension of your own home. Almost a year of planning and Dhanny helped us every step of the way. She offered advise, tips, words of encouragement, and lots of hugs! Now I can't fail to mention that after booking the venue, we had dinner their twice. The food was unbelievable! We were tempted to have many more dinners there, but forced ourselves to refrain until after the wedding.
Our wedding was last Saturday. It was a dream come true. Each moment was perfect and we were well taken care of. I never looked at the time, or had to worry about the vendors, or if everything was going as planned. Dhanny had it covered. Not only was the decor exactly what we wanted, she made sure the flow of the wedding was seamless. Dhanny made sure we were fed, Dhanny made sure we were happy, had drinks, and were smiling.
Dhanny feels like a member of our family. I simply do not have words to describe how magical our special day was. Thanks Dhanny & Chef!
Dhanny was the greatest. Our ceremony was quite short notice but Dhanny helped us every step of the way, from decor to flowers, the photographer and the cake. You name it. Without ...
her help, our ceremony would not have been possible. We would highly recommend My Kitchen, if not only for Dhanny and Chef Joe, but the place is also wonderful. In a word, I would describe it as quaint. Everything was beautiful and we wouldn't have it any other way.
We loved everything. Dhanny,Chef and the staff are unbelievable. From the moment I walked into their establishment, I knew it was the place for us. We had approximately 40 guest...
and everyone keeps raving on the great experience. "MY KITCHEN" has made a place in our hearts.
Dhanny and her staff at My Kitchen are wonderful. She made our wedding day a lot less stressful knowing that everything for our reception was taken care of. The dinning area was ...
spotlessly clean and the food we selected for our buffet was delicious.
Me and my wife highly recommend My Kitchen for any occasion.
We had a beautiful intimate wedding at My Kitchen Banquet Hall in September 2016, it was a gorgeous day for an outdoor ceremony and the reception was unbelievable. Everything was ...
perfect, starting from Dhanny herself (the owner/coordinator), she always made us feel relaxed and comfortable. She was great from the planning to our big day. The food was soooo amazing, our guest raved about it. Overall, we were extremely happy on our wedding day, it couldnt have been better. We thank Dhanny and her husband Chef Joe for their great help in making our wedding perfect!!!!
Dhanny and Chef Joe are the most sincere and reliable people a couple planning a wedding could ask for. Their space is perfect for smaller-intimate wedding numbers (ours was 60 and...
it was perfect!). Chef Joe's food was one of the most celebrated comments from our wedding goers and the professionalism of their staff was on point. The versatility of their space is perfect for a couple who may not know exactly what they want to do right as they begin planning. Dhanny was very accommodating to our shifting ideas and sometimes lack of direction. We felt comfortable and confident in her opinions and suggestions. The final product was what we had desired from the beginning. Dhanny was able to channel our (at times, incoherent) thoughts and helped us plan a ceremony and reception that was completely representation of who we are as a couple. This venue is a hidden gem in Forest Hills, Queens, and New York at large. You will not regret this venue decision.
MyKitchen deserves 10 stars. I began booking my wedding June 2016 and Dhanny helped plan it all in two months. She always answered all my questions when I needed her. I booked the ...
CITY HALL PACKAGE, which included hors d'oeuvre, appetizer, main entree, wedding cake, unlimited beverages, and chair covers with ribbons, all for $50 per person. This package also included tax and gratuities. It cannot get any better than this. Chef Joe's food is amazing, with all the love and care he puts into his passion. It is cooked fresh and on the spot, with lots of flavors. They both make you feel like you are family and I'm so happy I had my wedding at My Kitchen. My guests were all impressed with the decor and of course the hospitality of the owners and the staff. They also have a surround sound system, in which you can connect a device to play music.
I will definitely be recommending them to all my family and friends. If anyone is looking to have a dinner after getting married at the courthouse this is the place you want to go to. It is intimate and your family and friends will appreciate it all. They also have a backyard garden space which can be use to hold a ceremony and other events. Thank You Dhanny & Joe :)

Also I highly recommend going to the My Kitchen just for dinner. The food is sooo good! Chef Joe puts so much love into his food.
