The venue was beautifully decorated, food, and drinks seemed to flow flawlessly through the day and evening, even despite a couple mishaps with being short on staff no one even noticed being short handed! I could not recommend the venue enough!

the perfect backdrop for our ceremony. The building itself is beautiful, with a brick fireplace in the entrance area, and a beautiful artificial tree in the reception area. The food was a big hit with our guests - we chose top sirloin, chicken cordon bleu, and vegan pasta, and we heard many compliments. Morgan is amazing. She was patient with all my questions and was so flexible, calm, and helpful on the day (which makes a bride's life much easier). I would highly recommend TCI. It's one of the best values in the Des Moines area without a doubt!

e in the restaurant the first time I visited. We pretty much knew this was the place. The whole club is pretty. Working with Morgan was awesome. She has the perfect personality for the job. So calm and relaxed. Just knew everything would work out. Incredibly helpful and always there to answer questions or help us with whatever we needed. She is the best! I have to say the whole staff was great, especially Alexis. I also have to compliment the chef . Food was tremendous. Tasted great and presentation was wonderful. I also have to say the chef helped us out the next day when there was a communication issue and we thought there was a brunch and there was not. In less than an hour he had a delicious brunch buffet. It was really amazing that he did that for us!! Really above and beyond what was expected. I really feel that they want to do whatever they can to make your wedding what you want it to be. I also have to say the cost was very reasonable. My daughter's wedding was incredible and TCI helped to make it that way!!

The only small hiccup we had was we had been planning on having brunch the Sunday morning after for all guests and when we showed up they informed us there was no brunch. However, since there were so many people the chef offered to make us a special buffet style brunch which ended up being perfect

Derek strives for excellence. He is capable, thoughtful and talented at his job. He did an exemplary job the day before and the day of the wedding reception. He was available, helpful and made sure all was in order. We are so pleased we chose TCI and Derek and staff for the wedding reception! The food!! Chef Adam and his staff truly "outdid" themselves. The chicken cordon bleu and top sirloin were the best I have ever tasted and the sides were so good. Many, many guests commented this was the best food they had ever had at a wedding reception. The food was hot, perfectly prepared, attractively served and the staff did an excellent job. TCI was itself a beautiful setting for the reception and photos. We loved our time together here for this very special occasion and made many treasured memories! Definitely, five stars!

Emily responded quickly to emails and was very easy to work with. The Boulders Inn and Suites hotel just a short walking path away was super convenient as well. I highly recommend this venue!

y is a beautiful, elegant venue. The food was delicious and the service was phenomenal. The food and kegs are a little pricy but we found out that it is worth it. The bar tender and waiters/waitresses treated all of my guests with kindness. I would most definitely recommend TCI to any engaged couple looking for a wedding ceremony/reception venue. e have received numerous compliments from our guests on the food, venue, DJ and entire atmosphere of the reception. Being a bride that lived out of state was not a problem. Most everything could be communicated and coordinated over the phone or via email. Would recommend TCI for their exceptional ease of planning, price and beautiful views. I wish I would relive the day over and over again! Thanks again to TCI and their incredible staff for making everything run so smoothly on wedding day.

edding day, The scenery and the dining hall is beautiful. Our guests, mostly from out of state, loved the place. We had so much fun as the bridal party taking golf carts out before the reception. The food is amazing too. Wouldn't have had it any other way!

r, Emily, was very organized and could answer any question we had. She presented us with lots of options and was willing to go out of her way. Tony is the GM and did an excellent job being a host. He was willing to do anything he could to make the wedding go on without hitch. The staff was all very friendly and worked hard all day leading up to the wedding and during the wedding itself. Don't get me started with the food -- it was amazing. We choose the Cordon Bleu and Top Sirloin and both looked amazing & the Top Sirloin was amazing!!!! I would recommend this to any bride and groom looking for an upscale place at a good price. Absolutely a 5 star place!

All of our requests and questions were answered and the employees did a wonderful job with set-up as well as service on the day of the event. This was a huge amount of stress off of me to know that I didn't have to worry about a thing! Any request I made during the event was quickly addressed and I had individuals check in with me to see how everything was going throughout the night. Guests loved the view outside as well as the decor inside. I could not be happier with our choice of venue. Would recommend!

Kelsey and viewed the reception room and outdoor patio. It was beautiful! The manicured lawn and trees made a perfect backdrop for the outdoor ceremony. Our theme fit very well with the decor of the room. I was very pleased that the cost was comparable to other venues in Des Moines. Kelsey gave us several different floor plans to work with and it was beautiful! The staff at TCI were amazing! They went above and beyond in making the event seamless. The selections for dinner were very well prepared and presented. I cannot say enough about the staff. They truly get a gold star for all their help during the evening. Set up a tour and talk to the event coordinator. You won't be disappointed!!!

We had so many compliments from our guests about how amazing the food was and how much they loved the venue! The only caution I would have would just being careful about now trying to fit too many people, we were kind of right at the line where more would have been uncomfortable. We had about 170 people (without using the side room) and that was just about perfect. It was absolutely wonderful for our wedding and we wouldn't have changed a thing! Major props to the staff who were outstanding and very accommodating!

to a wedding can be very stressful, but the Events Coordinator, Kelsey, walked us through the whole process and made us feel at ease with the approaching wedding. She was quick to respond to our e-mails and phone calls, and always had an answer for our questions and concerns. She made the lead up to my daughters wedding that much easier on us and the family. When we arrived to add our finishing touches to the reception room we were impressed with the set up and how orderly everything was. After our dinner, many people came up to me and complimented us on the food that was served and the beautiful view and arrangement of the room. The wait staff and bartenders were respectful and dressed professionally (they seemed to never stop working and cleaning up)! The patio just outside the reception room overlooks the last 2 holes of the course from far above them. The view is like nothing you see in Iowa, let alone at a wedding reception, it was a draw for many of our guests, there were tables and chairs placed on it for our guests to sit and enjoy the view with a drink. I almost forgot to mention how great my daughters wedding pictures came out, we took a tour around the course to different locations and took pictures that had impressive backdrops and elevation changes. All in all we were so pleased with our wedding experience and hope that this review will help other potential bride and grooms choose an outstanding place for their big day!

the food and the service was great. All of us as a friend group tend to be needy but they handled us well and were very accommodating with all we asked for. After the wedding and before the reception we took out a few golf carts for some wedding pictures and there was some really awesome places for pictures that we all can't wait to see once they are developed. It really is a beautiful venue with the raised view of the golf courses last 2 holes, and I can see how they have been ranked very high through this website, (the Bride had been bragging about how they were having their wedding at a place that The Knot has given Best of for Weddings 2 years in a row). And another great part was the short walk from the hotel to the reception room. It made for an easy way home after we all had our fill of music, dancing, and drinks. Very convenient and from all that my friend and his wife have said they seemed very pleased with how everything went.
