our family (we both have very big families). It was hot and sunny outside but he was patient and made sure that we got pictures with everyone we wanted. He also took great pictures before and during the ceremony and at the reception.

as our photographer. Not only is he so fun and easy to work with and a great communicator, he is insanely talented and took the most beautiful photos of our wedding! Neither myself nor my husband are particularly comfortable in front of the camera, but Tom put us at ease during our engagement photo shoot, which made pictures during the wedding so much more comfortable. Tom has a great eye and was able to work with what we wanted and what would look good. He captured the beauty and fun of our wedding day, and looking back at the pictures has been so much fun, allowing us to relive such a wonderful day all over again. ir work, communication, professionalism on our wedding. Stylistically, we were looking for clear and timeless photography - nothing flashy or over-edited. We got that, and more. I was a bit concerned about the staged shots feeling a bit weird but they didn't. Tom did a great job of getting staged romantic shots alternated with candid or family staged shots. Having someone with good communication was important to us - we wanted someone with familiarity of the locations (Armenian church & hall) where we were getting married, and Tom quickly checked those boxes. It was also awesome that he spoke Armenian. The entire crew appreciated how cool, collected, and communicative he was - especially my cousin, who did our videography. My MOH (who has been in a handful of weddings) also said how he was probably the best photographer she had dealt with - and that she loved the pictures. She hears so much of people wanting to retake their photos after being uncomfortable with an arrogant photographer and then disappointed with bad pics. My cousin knew we'd found a good one when Tom responded to a bunch of questions ahead of time. And then after our event, he's emailed so many times to give me an update. Anyways, he's a rockstar in communication department. Our insanely large gallery of wedding photos was ready in 1 month - over the Christmas, New Years, booster shots, the peak of omicron, (and on and on!). I say this because I see some people expect photos (maybe previews) in a few days or weeks, which seems unrealistic to me and I wasn't expecting it. Anyways, I was totally happy with it all - it's just helpful to have clear expectations. As far as lessons learned, I wish that we would have discussed our shot list and plan directly with Tom ahead of our date - and I kind of feel like this was on me for getting him our list so late and thinking our coordinator or someone else would have given me some feedback. I felt like I had too many "shots" on our shot list and was feeling super rushed while taking them. I also expected our coordinator to be around to assist with things and she totally dropped the ball, showed up late, and was more of a pain than helpful. However, Tom and Ralphy seamlessly dealt with my feeling overwhelmed and working like such a professional while our crappy coordinator was M.I.A. Upon looking through our photos, I realized that our actual invitation was missed in our detail shots. Again, possibly my bad for putting them in a box in a box. If this was the worst thing to go wrong on our day - I could handle it, but was a bit sad about the mixup. Tom quickly offered to reschedule and retake those shots for us. I still need to follow-up more (my comms have been lacking...), but how amazing is that?! Honestly - the biggest issue is that we now have SO many incredible photos from our wedding, we have no idea which one is our favorite! To summarize - if you like the example shots in his profile, give him a call, discuss your options, and then book this one.
