Let me start by saying that I did my dress shopping with Karli in November of 2021 with their VIP services and it was a wonderful experience! We went back in January of 2022 to get my husband's tux fitting, items picked out and ordered - which ...was pretty easy and they said we would receive my husbands items about a week before our big day. I did my dress alterations with a recommended by T&C 3rd party seamstress, Maureen, at the location 3 times prior to our wedding day on 05/14/2022. On my last fitting at the store, I left my veil (which was purchased outside of T&C)hanging on the dress in the fitting room so that way it could be steamed along with my dress and ready for pickup on 05/12/2022.
My husbands tux came in the week of the wedding, almost everything had to be replaced due to the fitting - this was concerning because we went in store and had their tux specialist measure him themselves which the initial order was placed. Okay, that's fine they reordered the items after we went in to get him fitted again which was the same measurements. Two of the groomsmen sent in their measurements in advance, when we called to confirm (because I just needed to make sure) apparently they said they didn't receive one of the guys measurements - no problem we told them again - their items arrived correctly the week before the wedding. We had my father and grandfather in law use their service too, again the jackets and shirts didn't fit but since they were coming from out of town there was no good way to have them get the items before the wedding - they ended up using tuxes that they previously owned. Our 3rd groomsman went and got fitted at T&C in advance, ALL of his items were crazy big. They reordered the items and charged him for shipping which was WAY more than anticipated. He got his items in, the shoes were still the wrong size and were brown (we ordered black). It was too late to get anything reshipped, so our friend worked with what he had but it was very disappointing to hear and now I have wedding photos of him in an ill fitting suit.
NOW my biggest pet peeve is the customer service. I did not have time to get my dress myself on 05/12/2022 so I had my mother and father pick it up, to which I told them my veil was also with my dress. I called the store before I sent my mom over and confirmed the dress and the veil were ready to go, the person I spoke to said yes so I told them to go on over. I had my mom double check everything and found that my veil was missing so she started to ask the workers at T&C where it was. They then claimed that I never had a veil and had a very bad attitude with my mom (it take a lot for my mom to say something about customer service), they said it wasn't their problem. I had to call them while I as at a different appointment and I told them I had my veil there at my final fitting, they said no veil was with my dress. I said I have photos and videos of me in the veil at the store so they are incorrect, they then suggested that the seamstress lost it so I should contact her. It was like a chicken running with it's head cut off, they kept switching their stories and when it was found out them, or the seamstress, lost my veil after I stated I had photos, did they change their tune with my mom and they blamed the veil on the seamstress so she had to buy me a new one from T&C which was not like the one they lost. A $25 Etsy veil then turned into $325 T&C veil.
