d into what I was looking for in a wedding dress and I sent her some images. When I stepped into Town & Country Bridal with my mom and sister, Lauren brightly greeted us and assured me that everything was going to be okay. Unlike other bridal stores I previously visited, Lauren had four dresses prepared and ready for me to try on. Not only was she prepared, but the first dress she pulled for me was a dress I had seen online that I internally declared as MY wedding dress beforehand. Lauren could sense my excitement but to ensure she covered all her bases, she showed me each dress she pulled to confirm the dress was consistent with my vision. I was extremely eager to try on the first dress but she asked me if I wanted to step into their showroom and look for any additional dresses. I agreed just in case. I stepped into the showroom and I immediately froze when I laid eyes on this beautiful ivory dress with a sweetheart neckline, form-flattering bodice embellished with sparkling sequin details and 3D floral lace appliques, column silhouette and Watteau-inspired lace bridal jacket—the complete opposite of what I had described to her. I had previously told her that I wanted a minimal dress with a sweetheart neckline, column sheath silhouette, and draping. Lauren noted this and unfazed by this, she offered to pull the dress—demonstrating her flexibility. I tried on the first dress—the first dress I had previously ogled and sent her a picture of prior to the appointment. As expected, I loved the first dress and so did my family. We all questioned as to whether I should even try the other four dresses on. I tried on the other three dresses she previously pulled. The other dresses were beautiful but my heart was still set on the first dress I tried on—I was sure that was the dress I was going to say yes to. I tried on the last dress—the dress that caught my eye in the showroom and was stunned. I was stunned because it was the exact opposite of what I wanted but this dress made me feel like a bride. My eyes began to well and I unintentionally called it “my dress.” My family began taking pictures and videos of me in the fifth dress—my unexpected dress. I was incessantly teetering between both dresses. Lauren was patient with me and tried her best to not influence my decision even though I begged her to make the choice for me. I tried on dress one and dress five one more time but this time she changed my earrings, added a veil, and provided me with a bouquet. Lauren asked me to close my eyes and asked me to envision myself walking down the aisle to my fiancée and asked me which dress I envisioned wearing—the magic question. When she asked me to open my eyes, the choice was no longer a choice—the fifth dress chose me. She celebrated with me and she seemed genuinely happy! Lauren genuinely cares about curating an unforgettable experience. She excelled in providing me with dresses, ensured my family felt comfortable, was flexible, assured me about my insecurities, was extremely patient when I had difficulty choosing , and she helped me make a choice without influencing my choice. o my dress after trying on only 4 dresses. Seriously, y’all. If you know me, that’s a big deal 😂 My master stylist, Tasha, was an absolute godsend. I don’t know how I would have done it without her! She captured my vision perfectly. She was so patient and understanding. After losing almost 200 pounds, I was a NERVOUS WRECK to try on dresses, but it honestly couldn’t have gone any better. The best part of the entire day was spending it with ladies I love the most! I cannot thank Town & Country Bridal enough for accommodating my big group and making sure we had a beautiful evening! Having all my aunts and grandmas with me was an absolute must and I’ll cherish the memories made forever 💗

There was a wide range of styles and sizes which is awesome because I am on the bigger side and needed larger dresses that many other bridal boutiques did not have. being able to try dresses on that were one or 2 sizes too big allowed me to see way better how the actual dress would fit, so I really appreciate them having a wide variety of sizes. The feel of the boutique was amazing and it was relaxing and a stress free visit which is the most important thing when buying dresses! When I said yes to the dress, they gave me and my guest champagne which I think was a super sweet gesture! Thank you so much!!

As I sat there waiting with my glass of champagne, (you are treated like royalty here) I noticed a box of tissues. When she came out dressed as a bride, I realized the reason for those tissues. You do cry happy tears. I have never heard so many compliments on a dress. The photographer, our friends, the alterations lady. Everyone loved her dress. It was perfect and this establishment is too. When my husband finally saw her on her wedding day he said, "I like Jolie's dress. It's not froo froo. It is classic and elegant." He even commented on her gorgeous veil as we watched them on the altar in Church. Men don't really notice things like that, but this dress and this veil were that beautiful! the experience. For my whole wedding planning timeline I have not done any of the typical bridal things such as parties, showers, or trips. I kept it simple. So when I chose where I wanted to find my wedding dress, I wanted an experience. I definitely picked the right place! The white room appointment provided a private space for myself and party, lunch (with sweets), unlimited champagne, two hours with my own stylist (they let me run over my time and said nothing to me about it!!!), a personalized robe, and a sweet gift of bridal sun glasses and “bride” earrings! I could not have had a better experience! Plus, I said yes to the dress here. My stylist was very discreet about pricing and respected my boundaries when I told her my budget. There was no rushing or encouraging me with dresses out of my price point. Everyone was welcoming and amazing! Thanks y’all!
