Towne Transport

I wish I could even begin to comment on their pricing or service, but despite four attempts at contacting them for a price quote, I can't even get a response! About three weeks ago I filled out the wedding form as well as the regular contact form on their website. After a week with no response, I followed up with an email to general email. After that last week, a call. While I got someone on the phone, he referred me to yet another person's direct email. It's now been almost five days and still no response from her either.

We loved our wedding trolley!! The trolley arrived early to my mother's house for pickup, and was so cutely decorated! The driver was extremely nice and helpful. He had a cooler of waters for us (it was a very hot day, so this was much appreciated), and even squeezed the trolley around State Circle in Annapolis so we wouldn't have to walk too far to the venue (Calvert House). He drove us around for pictures, and it was so convenient to be able to hop on and off as needed. The pictures taken in the trolley came out great as well! It was nice to have our entire wedding party together, and in a vehicle that was easy to get in and out of in all our formal wear!

Towne Transport, more specifically our contact Elizabeth, was absolutely fantastic to work with. We rented a trolley for our bridal party and a bus to transport our guests to the church and back to the hotel for the reception. They were prompt and everyone raved about the ease of the transportation. Our bridal party trolley was also fantastic. It was easily 97 degrees that day and our driver showed up with a cooler of water to assure everyone was staying hydrated while driving around for pictures. We were so pleased with our experience with Towne Transport and would definitely recommend them to any future brides.

I had rented a trolley for my wedding to shuttle guests from the Bladen St Garage to my venue, the Gov. Calvert House. I was told by Towne Transport and my venue, brides do this all the time and it would be no problem. The day of my wedding, it was pouring, windy, and freezing - so thank goodness we had the shuttle service. EXCEPT, the shuttle refused to come around State Cir. because it "would not fit", yet one driver was wiling to drive around the circle, where as another wouldn't. The closest they would get my guests to the venue was north st. - halfway around the circle, in the wind, rain and 50 degree weather. Not to mention, we wanted bridal party pictures on the trolley, and they wanted myself and my bridal party to walk in the wind and rain. Not once was I told that the trolley would not fit around the circle, and they could not provide door to door service like requested. We did not find this out until the day of, 2 hours before the ceremony, when there was no trolley at the front of the venue for pictures, and guests were arriving soaking wet because they just walked around the circle. If the trolley is unable to make it around the circle, you should inform the client prior to booking. Or if just a select few of your drivers are willing to drive the circle, then be sure they are the one driving for that wedding. It was ridiculous to make the bridal party and guests walk in the rain, wind, and cold! I would've never booked this company if I was told up front they could not drop off at the door. Also, this company is not very responsive via email or phone once you have booked with them. I tried for weeks prior to my wedding to get in touch with them to ask a few questions and make my final payment, and it took repeated emails and phone calls to finally talk to someone to have my questions answered and pay them. You think they would return phone calls when I'm trying to pay them. Poor customer service and misleading contracts! If you are getting married at the Gov. Calvert House, be aware that they will not drive around the circle and drop your guests at the door! They must walk halfway around the circle!

We had a great experience with this vendor. We selected to have a Trolley be our transportation for the wedding, we felt like it went with the Annapolis experience. The booking of the transportation was painless and they were very responsive to all of our questions and concerns. Our driver was Joe, and he was fantastic! He showed up to the hotel that the bridal party was getting ready at early, which as a bride was ideal. He was willing and happy to drive us down to the city docks so that we could take more pictures after the ceremony. We will definitely be using this vendor again when we have a need for transportation.

We used towne transport for the bridal party before the wedding, and for the guests to be transported to the venue before and after the ceremony. They were great. We made adjustments to our contract several times, and each time, they were helpful. I highly recommend them!

They were excellent. On time, very professional, I felt very calm with them transporting us.

The trolleys used for my wedding we adorable! Matt was nice to work with and he really puts your mind at ease when it comes to the transportation! I was married at the United States Naval Academy and I used the trolleys to shuttle all my guest to and from. Everyone raved about how adorable they are especially the "going to the chapel" and "just married" signs they put on the trolleys!

It's a shame, I'm sure that it is a lovely service. While I respect everyone's right to personally choose whether or not to spend their life with a person of the same sex, I personally can't support a company that begrudges the possibility that all people can marry the love of their choice. The owner's decision to stop providing marriage services to everyone (as reported in the Baltimore Sun, Wed. Dec. 26, and soon to be announced on their website) as a result of marriage being an available option to all people is short-sighted, and unfortunate. It is his choice, of course, but it is my choice to make sure that anyone using this service is aware of his decision.

Matt Grubs of Annapolis Trolley was so great to work with!i had 4 trolleys throughout the day including a ride to the church with the bridal party and 2 to shuttle the guests. Everyone said how great the trolleys were. They were decorated beautifully and was the perfect touch to our historic Annapolis wedding!

We had the trolley take the bridal party to the Chapel, and then shuttle guests to the Naval Academy gate for the wedding. They waited during the ceremony and shuttled us around the grounds for pictures. It was a neat experience, a lot of fun and great photo opportunity!
