Tozzi’s of Magnolia was opened in 1914 by Luigi Tozzi and his wife Fanny where lunch
and Italian dinners were served. In the 1960’s, the restaurant was taken over by son, Mike
Tozzi, and his wife Helen. Helen and Mike started making steak dinners and Italian pasta in the
restaurant (Tozzi’s Magnolia, 2016). In 2011, a fire caused Tozzi’s to close and it was not
reopened until 2015 by Helen’s son, Duke. The restaurant is now serving steaks, pasta, and signature specials by chef, Mark Green. Tozzi’s of Magnolia has always wanted to reflect the love of family and Italian food in everything it does.
