About this vendor
On the small scale of “us” and the relationships we develop with those around us, it's easy to overlook the "little things." Equivalent to how trace elements(hence the name) in nature are vital to everything we know to exist, “insignificant moments” in your relationships all contribute to the biggest image of all; love. We don't instantly fall in love with a "stranger," we fall in love a little more everyday with the actions they present to impact our lives. There is something extremely wonderful about love; it's energetic and contagious. The experience of recording a very small piece in a couple's lives together in the grand scheme of things is why I walk this life; they are beautifully in love and I want to preserve that feeling forever.

sting a stranger's subjective review of that person/ business on the internet is naturally a little unsettling. Having said all of that, I have to tell you that our experience with Dawn Crane, Owner of Trace Elements Photography LLC was nothing short of phenomenal.
If you are the sort of person that places any emphasis on your gut feeling, or first impression that you get having met someone I can honestly say that Dawn is the person for you.
She is an incredibly warm, caring, competent soul, that reads like an open book. The amount of thought, time, effort, and energy that she put into the photos she took of us, our families, and our friends is evidenced by the quality of her finished pictures.
From the time that we committed to her every step of the way she surprised us with thoughtful little details that went above and beyond our expectations of what quality and professionalism looks like.
If you are lucky enough to book Trace Elements Photography for your wedding , understand that you are getting a person who so capably is able to capture the emotions and humanity of your special day. Dawn felt like an old friend immediately; she absolutely shared in our laughter, the tears, and everything in between and took it in stride.

derstand what our expectations were, and she was so so helpful on the day of. Anytime i wasnt sure where to look or what to do with my hands, she was there to guide me. She didn't mind leaving the venue with us to get some shots in different scenery, and she paid attention to all of the details. I couldn't have asked for a better photographer. We got our photos back and they're unreal. Every single picture deserves to be framed. 10/10 recommend.
