sure we felt like a priority. The whole band is so talented and really brought the energy. We had a stage at our venue and we were really aware that the band would be on display. We had looked at a couple other very talented bands that did not have the same stage presence that Tradewinds had. You can really tell that they are enjoying what they do and had so much fun interacting with the crowd. Our guests have been raving about how great they were. They played something for everyone and covered so many genres. Every single person was on the dance floor the whole night. Highly recommended, you will not regret booking them!

o us. From the moment my husband and I first spoke to Brad about our wedding, we felt an instant connection. It was clear they wanted to give us the best performance for our wedding, and we could tell that our wedding was as important to Tradewinds as it was to us. We then started to attend their gigs (highly recommend!) and quickly became groupies. We greeted the band and introduced ourselves, and every one of them was warm, welcoming, and so happy to be playing for our big day. We quickly established personal relationships with Pete, Kelly, Dan, and Brad, and spent time together after their gigs grabbing a beer and chatting about life. The lovely Kelly, who quickly became a friend, even provided us with dance lessons and choreographed our first wedding dance. We are so blessed to have had Tradewinds play our wedding; they rocked the crowd and guests continued to compliment them throughout the night. They even handed me the microphone to accompany Kelly for "Pink Pony Club." :) They are truly fantastic musicians and wonderful people. So lucky they will be in our lives and will play all future events we host! Book Tradewinds ASAP!

e with Brad, we felt so comfortable with the group and had a great feeling about hiring this band. We were still skeptical to book as we had not heard them live, but we had a quick turn around and we needed to get the entertainment on the calendar, so we decided to take the leap of faith and book with the Tradewinds. We went to a show after booking, and the group was electric. We introduced ourselves and as amazing as they sounded, they are even better as people. The warm and comfortable feeling we had when scheduling was validated after hearing them play and talking with Kelly, Dan, and Pete (that night was a Trio performance). We had such a great time we continued to attend their shows. Talk about the full experience, not only did they cover and absolutely CRUSH the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, but they made the night so special to us. The vibe through all three phases was spot on, and during the reception, they had the dance floor rocking (I’m not much of a dancer, but it was hard not to move). They sound amazing when you see them play their shows, but somehow, they turned it up a notch during the wedding and sounded better than ever. This is truly a top tier band, and they absolutely knocked our wedding out of the park. They made our special night so much more superior. We are now proud Tradewinds Groupies, and we look forward to having this band be with us for life. Such great people with amazing music and talent, if I could do it again, there is no doubt we are hiring Tradewinds 100/100 times.

Tradewinds was so accommodating and versatile playing any style from jazz, to pop, rock, oldies, and even klezmer! There isn’t any music this band can’t do and they will keep everyone on the dance floor. My wedding guests are still raving about the band months later.

booking music, you want one thing and one thing only: people to DANCE. I saw my boss dance, a local legislature dance, and at one point, there wasn't enough room on the dance floor. In the middle of our day I had people pull me aside, winded and sweaty to say "This is the best band I've ever seen!" It was like a private concert! Not only is this band insanely talented, their energy is incredible. If you're a bride or groom tossing between the idea of a band or a DJ, hands down, go with a band, and go with Tradewinds. You will not regret your choice.

up dancing all night and having a great time. This band does a fantastic job of playing a great set list that impressed everyone across generations. They were so easy to work with and took time to learn certain songs that we wanted to be played. We also used this band to play for our cocktail hour (piano- which was perfect and classic) and after hours (DJ- which was great way to continue the party and we didn't have to worry about making a playlist or someone dominating the aux cord). I had full trust in this band but they completely exceeded our expectations and I would 100% recommend this band to anyone!! Multiple guests asked for their name to use for their weddings so we can't wait to hear them again soon!

She called Brad Sporkin, who has been a family friend for as many years as she has been alive! Gave him her wedding date and prayed the date was available! To her delight it was one of the last dates in 2023! They were excellent in communicating all the information needed to make sure the event was everything that they wanted! From the first song to the last the guests never sat down! The band was so great connecting with every guest and making sure the music was geared to the energy of the crowd! This band is incredibly vested in making sure no matter what the event is that is as special and memorable as you expected! These musicians are not just there for the paycheck they are there because they truly love what they do! Each of these special musicians are beautiful inside and out and you would be lucky to have them play your event !

When my sister got engaged, she knew immediately that she wanted Tradewinds to play at her wedding. My sister raved about how great they were, because it made planning a lot less stressful for her. She told them songs she liked and they crushed it on the day of. There was not a minute of the reception that people weren't on the dance floor. They're so engaging that family members who I'd never seen dance were up and having an incredible time. This meant so much to my family and I. The day truly would not have been complete without them and we have not stopped talking about it since. They brought so much energy to our wedding, we can’t thank them enough. The songs they played were all across the board - current, throwbacks, oldies etc. There was really music for everyone to enjoy, and everyone was raving about how great they were at the wedding and even after. We couldn’t recommend them more and look forward to seeing some of their sets this summer!

s for the price + brass. I love that they are not exclusively a wedding band and also play at bars. They were awesome at working the crowd and kept people dancing all night. We had a keyboardist for our ceremony and cocktail hour, and the full band did 3 45 minute dance sets (one before dinner, and two after). We did not leave the dancefloor the entire night.

o be our wedding band! Our wedding was on 10/8 in the Catskills and the members of Tradewinds travelled the 3+ hours on a holiday weekend to be there for us. We were all blown away by the beauty of the guitarist’s music during our ceremony, and they NAILED our first dance which is definitely not an easy song to cover. To say that they are the BEST wedding band is an understatement!! Their energy and positive vibes kept our dance floor filled all night. Our wedding guests were complimenting our music choice all night and into the following days. After the reception, they also DJed our after party and kept the party going! hile, my wife and I searched the band online and had seen they do weddings. With the help of my father-in-law, we landed the band for our big day. I took him my future mother-in-law at the time, and few family members to SaltShack on Long Island to see them play live and we went again recently just because. My in laws knew they made a great decision as well. We were overjoyed that we got such a dynamic group of musicians. We went all out for our big day and literally grabbed every option we could and still kept the bill affordable for live music. 3 piece jazz for 1.5 hr cocktail hour, guitar player greeting guests for half hour and then the big 11 piece for the reception. We also enlisted Pete to DJ the afterparty. With the added lighting package, where could we go wrong. The answer is you DON'T! We had so many compliments on how good the band was that it made the night even more special. Brad and Pete literally took care of everything. The planning and discussions leading into the big day was easy, the song selection was easy, they even learned a few songs to play for first dances. What else can you ask for? If we had to do it all over again, I would not change a single thing! Best decision to go with Tradewinds over any DJ, and day/night or event. Thank you Tradewinds for an unforgettable night! Highly recommend this group and will always recommend this group. They are affordable, have plenty of options to work on pricing and get back to you within a day if you email them.

We are already planning our summer tour following them around. For a Long Island band they were also reasonably priced—especially considering how much they are sought after!
