nal. He really took the time to understand our vision of how we wanted our guests to feel at the wedding. Our venue was on a mountain top and logistically challenging. He took this challenge head on and did an outstanding job with the set up and execution of the lighting, stage set up and ceremony audio setup. The lighting and uplighting he provided added so much to our venue and transitioned from romantic at dinner to a party when it was time to celebrate on the dance floor. My daughter gave her playlists, then trusted him to take control, and he did not disappoint. He kept the dance floor full all night long and read our crowd perfectly creating the most fun atmosphere. As an MC, he was smooth and professional and guided the night seamlessly without overpowering the event. We also hired his wife to be the violinist, and it was one of the best decisions we made. She played so beautifully during our ceremony and cocktail hour, and our guests are still talking about what a special touch that was. hat said he kept everyone on the dance floor the entire night...I thought that must be an exaggeration. I can assure you it was not. The dance floor was packed the entire time and everyone was raving afterwards about John and his ability to cater the music choices to guests of all ages (even my 102-year-old great uncle was on the dance floor)! Everyone was bummed when he announced the last song as no one wanted the party to end. The violinist played so beautifully for our ceremony and was able to learn two additional songs that were special to us. Thank you so much to Trading Post Productions - you guys are the best!!!

e epitome of professionalism. He arrived well before the wedding to set everything up, ensuring that everything was ready to go. Our wedding had many complicated details, including a flash mob during the ceremony, salsa dancing as our first dance, and the hora during the reception. That salsa dance was even a mix, and John mixed it for us well in advance so we can rehearse the choreography many months before our wedding. John managed everything so smoothly. He perfectly timed the Star Wars music for my husband’s walk down the aisle and the Harry Potter soundtrack for mine, creating magical moments for both of us. Many months before our wedding, he provided a template/shared doc that allowed for us to put all our music and announcement-related ideas; including ideas for games, first dances, and Do/Do Not Play lists - but was also so flexible for things we didn't want and was happy to omit. We reviewed them a month out to go over any questions or suggestions, which made us feel very confident leading up to the wedding that everything would go without a hitch. John has a real talent for reading the crowd and making announcements at just the right time. Beyond his exceptional skills and professionalism, he is also a genuinely sweet person, which made working with him such a pleasure. If you’re looking for a DJ who will go above and beyond to make your day perfect, John and Trading Post Productions are the ones to choose!

cannot recommend them enough. John did everything we asked and more. He was even checking in with us at our table and around the venue on occasion to see if we needed anything. We also had very skilled live musicians during our ceremony and a fantastic photo booth operator that made the experience fun for us and all of our guests. e responsive, friendly, helpful, available, and their guitar and violin duo did a wonderful job performing some of our favorite songs, in exactly the order we asked them to. And the music was fantastic! We were both so delighted by all of it - including especially the customized music we walked down the aisle to. We got rave reviews from our guests. We are beyond appreciative and so impressed by both their musical ability and their responsiveness how easy it was to coordinate with them on logistics during the stressful 2 month run-up to our wedding. families are from Japan, and usually, old Japanese people won’t dance. But party was amazing, so even they danced a lot. Big happy surprise to me. Actually everyone danced (and sang) a lot till the end. Also, the owner of Trading Post Production, John helped edit our first dance music. Our dance instructor gave us an edited version first, but it was a bit unnatural. I thought that edit won’t work( you cannot chop a song there!) but John used his magic, and the song sounded amazing. Our dance instructor was asking for a very aggressive edit, so I was truly surprised and impressed by John’s skill. Thank you so much for being part of our wedding!!

r live music, Trading Post offers all different combinations of instruments.  We chose to have a violin / guitar duo for the ceremony and the cocktail hour.  The violin as my wife was walking down the aisle was heavenly.  For the cocktail hour, the acoustic vibe was perfect and I got a ton of compliments about the song selection and rendition. When it came time to hit the dance floor, John got the whole party out dancing, swaying, or jumping up and down depending on the floor.  He mixed and matched our many different genre selections seamlessly and read the room to make sure everyone was having fun. In the planning phase, working with John was an absolute delight.  You can tell that he really cares about his clients and worked with us to come up with our perfect plan of events and music genres for our special day. Highly recommended!

s. The day of John made sure everything was good to go as far as set up and he made it a point to talk to everyone who was involved to let them know what to expect and when they’d be speaking. Then came the music and John absolutely killed it!!! He played a few mashup/remixes, his mix from one song to the next was impeccable, and he sprinkled in all our ‘must play’ songs flawlessly. Well, it ended up taking us 3 years to actually walk down the aisle and John was the only vendor from our original team to stick it out with us. As a music person, it was one of the most important elements for me and I couldn’t be happier. Our four selections were atypical for piano music, but we felt they would be the perfect fit for our ceremony and asked John & Kevin if they would be able to learn them. They were, and after providing them with examples they worked with us to create versions that were just right, in both pitch and pace. Come wedding day, Kevin was exceptional. The songs were everything we had hoped they would be on a solo piano thanks to his performance, helping add the gravity and tension we were hoping for in our ceremony. needed the “vibes” to change throughout the evening and they did such an amazing g job. They played our outdoor ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and post dinner reception and it was everything we asked for! We got so many compliments. We went through their song list and made suggestions to show the style we were hoping for but did not request any new songs (ie- they would arrange the song for a fee and play the song not listed on their list). They were super easy to work with and billing/pricing was straight forward.

l shoutout to our DJ, Paul. In my wildest dreams I couldn't have imagined a better dance party on our wedding night. I am still in disbelief how energetic and fun the dance party was. People are still messaging me saying how fun the wedding was and specifically saying how amazing Paul was and asking where we found him. It was truly perfect!
