John & Briana were absolutely wonderful! They were fantastic as an acoustic duet with beautifully played music. Just beautiful. And the set was just as we imagined it! What a wonderful treat for our guests. John went on to provide amazing MC/DJ services for our event. He was able to keep people dancing all night long! Amazing! Afterwards, we were sent a recording of the entire event that we were able to download and keep forever. We strongly recommend Trading Post Productions! Thank you John & Briana!

John was amazing!! He accommodated our wedding with strategically placing speakers both inside the reception hall and outside for the ceremony. He truly went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect. You could actually hear the music on the ceremony deck! I've been to numerous weddings where you couldn't.. We procrastinated in sending him the music, but he was so understanding, and played music we wanted to hear, while adding tasteful additions. My husband is a musician, and so the music was a huge part of our ceremony. I was so nervous about having a DJ that played the cha-cha slide with all the same generic wedding music, but John took our requests to heart, and it couldn't have been more perfect. 10/10 would recommend John and Trading Post Productions!

We had the pleasure of having John Wirt and Trading Post Productions provide the music at our January, Brown Palace wedding. AMAZING is the best way to describe the evening! The quartet was professional and played beautifully. They even learned a song that wasn’t within their playlist; it was as if they had played their whole lives. John was part of the quartet and then switched hats and DJ’d the cocktail hour and reception. John played all of our suggested music and also played his own great dance selection. Everyone danced! Trading Post Productions exceeded our expectations!

Trading Post Productions was absolutely amazing! They did a fantastic job at both the live music at the ceremony and the DJing at the reception. John and his wife were great to work with and very fairly priced. They even provided us with the audio from the wedding...which is going above and beyond! I would recommend them to anyone and everyone!

John and his wife made my dreams come true on my wedding day! We had both instrumental music and a DJ set, and I loved that they offer both so we didn't have to stress about finding multiple vendors. John was amazing. He worked with me on the songs I wanted for big occasions and had suggestions for songs that I didn't even realize I needed. We had a guitar and violin for the ceremony as well as during dinner, and then John did a DJ set for the reception. We had an absolute blast! Everyone was happy with the song choices and danced the night away. We'll definitely be talking about this night (and the dance moves) for the rest of our lives, and the music is one of the reasons why it was so much fun!! Could not have picked better musicians for our wedding!

Trading Post Productions came through for us in the best way possible. John Wirt was easy to work with leading up to the wedding- incredibly responsive, thoughtful, and innovative in planning our ceremony. The music was absolutely beautiful and he and his wife played during our ceremony. Then, the whole group played during cocktail hour. And lastly, John was the DJ for the party after dinner! They are a one-stop shop and blew us away for every segment. The instrumental music was something we will never forget. John was also an amazing DJ! We are incredibly grateful that they were part of our special day. The music MADE the day so special and memorable. The recording quality provided after the ceremony is fantastic quality. They were sweet, thoughtful, and we'd recommend them to anyone and everyone!

A seriously cool and unique way to provide music for your wedding!! Trading post does both live music and DJ services. We chose to have a live violinist and guitarist at the ceremony and cocktail hour and then a DJ for the remainder of the night. For the live music, they have a large and diverse list of songs they can play from. I tried to choose some mushy songs for the ceremony and then a lot of new and classic hits that people would know for the cocktail hour. The guests loved it! John (the owner) transitioned into the DJ for the dinner and dancing portion of the evening, and he was an AMAZING DJ as well!!! We provided a do-not play list as well as a must play list and he executed flawlessly. Additionally, their prices are very fair, and John was very easy to work with, especially when we had a couple of last minute changes to the schedule. Wedding music can make or break a wedding, so this was the element we were most worried about. Fortunately for us, Trading Post Productions are total pros and definitely killed it! We couldnt be happier with our wedding music!

John and his crew are all so talented and amazing. I loved the fact that they offer live music and a DJ for your wedding. My husband and I had a couple of special requests for our big day and the Trading Post blew us away with what they came up with.

We used Trading Post Productions, John and Briana, to play live music for our wedding ceremony, and John DJ’d our reception, both at the top of Keystone Mountain in Colorado. In addition to being talented musicians, they were also very responsive to our requests and questions, clearly had a lot of experience at this, and overall gave us a lot of confidence in them beforehand that things would turn out well. And they did! The music was beautiful, and could be heard well by us and our guests. Not easy at an outdoor wedding on top of a mountain with wind. Their musical talent doesn’t stop with playing songs. They were able to arrange new songs that were not in their existing repertoire (which is already extensive). John also did a great job of DJ’ing the reception, including getting us miked up for speeches. They were really the height of professionalism throughout the entire process, from planning, to wedding day, to getting us a recording of the ceremony.

These guys are the real deal. They went above and beyond to make our wedding awesome! Really nice people who are willing to address any concerns you may come across. They truly made our wedding day a stress free event!

At the suggestion of our Event Planner, we chose Trading Post Productions to provide live music for our daughter's wedding ceremony on 9/2/18 at Arrowhead Golf Club. John and Briana's guitar and violin duo added just the right musical enhancement to the glorious mountain view setting. They worked with the bridal couple to select music that was meaningful and complemented the casual elegance of the day. Everyone enjoyed the beautiful music, and the bride and groom could not have been happier with the musical flow of the ceremony. Thank you, John and Briana!

John and Briana were absolutely amazing. One of my favorite wedding vendors. John was extremely responsive to emails and calls. He also learned a few songs for us and even recorded them and sent them to us before our wedding day so we could make a better decision on which song to use. I had them play live music for the ceremony and during dinner. Then John DJ'd during the reception. I kept getting compliments all night on how wonderful they were. John even got there early to check the lighting and sound, did a mic and sound check with my officiant and groom and even made sure the wireless microphones were put on correctly! I cannot express enough how wonderful John and his wife were. You will not regret it if you hire them!

After searching and searching for live music for our ceremony AND a DJ, I finally found John and his wife. Where do I even begin? They were one of my favorite wedding vendors to work with- such amazing customer service, friendly, responsive, and patient. From our first interaction, I knew we had to hire them. John graciously gave us a military discount and worked with us on our budget. He then sent tons of suggestions for the live music aspect to our ceremony. When I found a song to walk down the aisle to that they didn't have in their repertoire already, they learned it for us! On the day of the wedding, John was the first to arrive to set up early in the afternoon, and the last to leave. From what I heard from my guests, the live music was incredible. John and his wife performed 10,000 Reasons as I walked down the aisle and it was absolutely beautiful. It was everything I had dreamed of and gave me goosebumps as I walked toward my future husband. John was also an awesome DJ during the reception- the light effects were fun and he knew how to get the crowd dancing. We can't say enough good things about Trading Post Productions!

John and Briana performed for our Catholic ceremony on June 20, 2018. Their music filled the chapel with such amazing beauty! When I approached the doors to the chapel with my dad, about to walk down the aisle, I couldn't help but tear up and said to him "Why did I have to go with such beautiful music and talented musicians?!" We have continued to receive compliments on how beautiful it was, and I cannot recommend Trading Post Productions enough! John is very easy to communicate with, especially since I was planning the wedding from Indiana, and he is quick to respond to any needs. I would hire them for our day all over again, and trust them with all of my siblings and closest friends' weddings!

Absolutely amazing and talented couple! The live music was perfect and John did an awesome job keeping the dance floor busy all night. He was a lot of fun to work with and he was spot on with music choices throughout the day! It was really great to have found someone that I could trust to piece everything together - I also got a ton of compliments on how great they performed!

John and Brianna were absolutely wonderful and SO easy to work with! I was most nervous about not being to hear the music until the actual day, but they did a beautiful job! I met with John beforehand and he was great about asking questions about the songs we wanted and really understood our vision for what we were going for! He was professional and so friendly, and helped us figure out our song choices since we did not know anything about music! He was so flexible with changes and last minute adjustments we made to the processional and played the songs we had chosen beautifully! They were exactly what I was looking for and it was wonderful to have them as a part of our day!

We hired Trading Post/John and Briana for our wedding this past November. We could not have been happier with their musical contribution to our event. John and Briana are extremely talented and consummate professionals. They played music pre- and post-ceremony as well as during dinner and their execution was nothing less than perfect. We hired John and Brianna to play violin and guitar during our ceremony and cocktail hour. They were absolutely wonderful; we got so many compliments on the music! So many! They even create two custom arrangements for us that turned out beautifully! 10/10 would recommend!

It would be hard for me to say enough nice things about John and Briana of Trading Post Productions. We worked with John to create an individual music plan for how the day would go, and they completely delivered. Our wedding was almost exactly a month ago, and I'm still getting people talking to me about how amazing the music was. The live music (guitar and violin) completely exceeded expectations - so many people complimented me, as if I had anything to do with it, on how fantastic John and Briana were. They really made the day special in a way that I didn't anticipate. I was very nervous about music because it's important to me, and wanted someone who could do live music and DJ the reception, and they were fantastic. The dance floor stayed full the entire night because John just kept playing the best music. I was very worried about hiring a "DJ" because of the sort of Wolfman Jack-era guys. John is not that. He listens and respects your wishes, which is incredibly important. I was afraid to put my trust in anyone around music, and am so happy that we took the plunge with Trading Post. Hire them and relax, knowing that you are in good hands.

We hired Trading Post for our wedding ceremony on 9/30/17. I was searching for ideas for music for our ceremony when I stumbled upon Trading Posts demo videos. Right away I could tell how passionate they were about music, and i found that I couldn’t stop listening to their songs! I contacted them and John was very responsive, answered all of my questions and was so easy to work with. I can’t say enough how much this duo truly helped make our ceremony everything we wanted it to be. Not only was the music fantastic, but they provided us with wireless mics for our officiant and readers, and recorded the music and ceremony for us as well. Even when it started pouring after our ceremony, they continued to play and braved the storm with us. If you’re looking for a wonderful group of musicians to play at your upcoming wedding or event, look no further!

Trading Post Productions played at our wedding at our ceremony and reception at Strawberry Creek Ranch in Granby, CO. We had the string quartet for the ceremony/cocktail hour and then John took over as DJ for dinner and dancing. They did a wonderful job in both regards! John worked with us to learn some new songs for the cocktail hour and even our first dance! He also was happy to take recommendations for the reception so we could hear songs that we were interested in. My wife and I cannot recommend Trading Post Productions enough! We both received so many compliments from the guests about the music throughout! Wedding planning can be extremely stressful but John really takes on some of the burden which was much appreciated! My wife and I were concerned about rain at the venue but John had a backup plan ready to go (thankfully it was sunny throughout the wedding).We are so glad they were part of our wedding day and you will be too!

Trading Post played our wedding and they were absolutely wonderful. They were instrumental (pun intended) in making the best day of our lives even more memorable and magical. We had John and Brianna playing violin and guitar during our ceremony and cocktail hour, and it really set the stage for a spectacular wedding. They learned several songs that had tremendous meaning and performed them beautifully. I can't say enough about how talented they are as musicians. Not only that, but they recorded the music and audio from the whole ceremony, so we have it all to listen to again on our anniversary. We also had John stick around to EMCEE/DJ or reception. John was incredibly organized, welcoming, and confident as an emcee, even when we asked to switch some things up on the fly. He also killed it as a DJ! I could tell he was reading the crowd, and as some of our younger guests headed out to the bonfire, he switched up the vibe to some old-school crowdpleasers that kept people dancing and having a great time. Also, in the lead up to the wedding, John was incredibly communicative and quick to respond to all my questions. He was super organized throughout and I think Trading Post's prices are incredibly reasonable for the amazing value they brought to our wedding. To John and Brianna, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for caring about our wedding day as much as we did. You guys truly helped make it a more amazing day than we could have imagined.

We used John and Brianna for our wedding this June. When we were shopping for music for our wedding we interviewed a DJ, a couple bands and John at Trading Post. When it came down to it Trading Post provided EXCELLENT service and a great value. After booking the service was professional and thorough, we had multiple phone conversations and a coffee meeting with John. The live component for our ceremony added to the elegance of our day, and was something no other DJ was offering. They also did a live performance for 1st dance, father daughter, and mother son, all were not on their "repertoire" listed on their site, but they were very accommodating and performed great! After the live performance John took over as MC and DJ, he did a great job of keeping the party going and accommodating any special requests from our guests. When the big day came music was not a worry, we knew John and Brianna had us in great hands! We would absolutely recommend their service!

John & Brianna were absolutely wonderful to work with! John met with us during the planning process, and it was obvious that they take great care in learning about their clients and making sure the wedding is exactly what the couple has dreamed. They brought all the sound equipment necessary to play acoustically during the ceremony/cocktail hour, DJ, as well as MC the rest of the night. Every detail was accounted for, which allowed my husband and I to just enjoy the night. Not to mention they are extremely talented musicians, and we still get comments to this day about how beautiful the music was!! Thank you John and Brianna for everything!

They played at our son's wedding and they were fantastic... not only was their music selection very appropriate for the changing times during the celebration, they were extremely professional and pleasant! We would highly recommend them!

John and Briana played BEAUTIFUL music at our wedding ceremony this last weekend at the Vail Wedding Deck. John was extremely friendly and easy to work with while figuring out the flow of our ceremony and he put me at ease for the event. The music provided a beautiful backdrop for our ceremony and it wouldn't have been possible without these two. Thank you both again :)

John and Briana performed at our mountain wedding in July and they were absolutely fabulous! We listened to several different types, styles and bands and as soon as we heard The Trading Post Duo's music, we knew they were very talented. However, what we didn't know at that time were all of the additional perks of selecting them to perform at our wedding. They were very responsive in our communications and met with us in person, before we even agreed to have them perform at our wedding, just to discuss the ceremony, reception and overall idea of the wedding. This included the types of music to be performed, what would be done at each step of the way. They were both so very nice and helpful in pointing us in the right direction when we had questions about what we were doing. We never felt pressured, only a sense of genuine wanting to help out. They also offered to learn two new songs just for our wedding, which helped make our ceremony truly "ours". Including 1 song of a small, local band that they had never heard of and they changed the arrangement slightly to better fit the ceremony, which turned out great. They also scheduled a call the week before the wedding to make sure and cover any last minute changes and confirm that we were both on the same page, which was a big relief during that stressful timeframe. They were flexible for our ceremony and always kept an eye out for us and any changes. We never had to worry about timing for ceremony as they were able to adapt on the fly to the situation and timing on their own. They adjusted the music as needed. We received a lot of unprovoked compliments from our friends and family about how much they enjoyed the music and how nice the duo were. People got excited about songs they recognized when they started to play them. They have a great selection and variety of music, too. During the reception, they moved around to best suit where everyone was at without being asked. They must have moved 3 times, which was awesome. They also took turns eating dinner, which wasn't necessary, but they did it so there was never a break in the music. Again, unexpected and awesome. This is a long review, but it's due to John and Briana being far better than we ever imagined! We would highly recommend them for any and all occasions!

We hired John and Briana to play for our July, 2016, wedding ceremony and luncheon reception and would highly recommend them for any special event you may be planning. Since we were planning our ceremony remotely and in a rather short timeframe, we were a little nervous about how it would all go, but working with John and Briana actually gave us some peace of mind it would all go well, and it did! Trading Post Duo worked with us to understand the ceremony we envisioned, the type of music we liked and even added a couple of our favorite songs to their repertoire and played them at the perfect moments throughout the day. At the end of the day, several of our guests commented on the really nice touch their music brought to the day and what outstanding musicians they were. After it was all over, and on the long drive home, as we recapped the day, we agreed that John and Briana brought a special touch to a special day. They were very professional, easy to work with, and really nice people too. We’re so glad they were part of our wedding day!
