We used Trailbreak for our 190 person backyard wedding. From start to finish topher, Sabrina, and the Trailbreak team absolutely crushed it. Sabrina with the pre event planning and ordering was so helpful and thorough. She was always willing to chat and made us feel so at ease. The night of our wedding it rained sideways. I am a fan of Trailbreak's dine-in restaurant, but this review is for a large catering job that Trailbreak did in Hanover NH for 375+/- adults. They brought their trailer and served from there. The food was delicous, plentiful, served promptly and courteously by the staff working in the trailer, and overall an enormous hit with the crowd.
Having salsas, guac, and chips out in advance gave everyone a the chance to nibble during the drinks hour. There was never a wait for one's order (multiple choices) which seemed amazing to me.
Great value, tremendous food, and owner Topher was on site and supervising all elements of the event.
Highly recommend!

Headed in to our 8th (!) season, our TWO taco trailers offer up the PERFECT value-based blend between food trucks (with their fun, unique, interactive qualities) and high end caterers (which present an extensive level of service options paired with a knowledgeable planning team). Having catered parties for 20, 200 and even up to 600+, we understand how factors like budget, menu variety and timing ultimately create a wildly successful catering experience that our clients end up feeling ecstatic about.
Throughout the 2024 catering season, we were fortunate enough to provide food truck catering for over 80 events! Our crew is well versed in off-site food and beverage service and we look forward to providing guidance based on the specific needs and expectations of each couple with the goal of ensuring that every guest continues to rave about the food (and service) for WEEKS after your party! TRAIL BREAK offers unique, fresh and fun food to cater to a myriad of dietary restrictions and tastes. Menus are fully customizable and our ability to handle modifications to fit every guests' needs creates a stress-free menu planning experience for couples excited to try something out of the ordinary.
Know any other food trucks that offer passed apps along with a stationed spread of chips and dips? Chili-dusted watermelon, chicken quesadillas, house made guac and crispy fried maple-sambal duck wings are all great ways to set the tone during cocktail hour.
Speaking of cocktails, TRAIL BREAK is fully licensed in the state of Vermont to serve beer, wine and cocktails at your event! Draft beers (which you can help choose) and big-batch cocktails like our watermelon margarita, 'beach bum' rum punch or boozy guava lemonade are popular choices for couples seeking a one-stop shop for their food AND bar needs. Our consumption-based pricing model creates an affordable way for party planners to offer a fun (and EFFICIENT) bar without feeling they are paying an unnecessary amount for drinks that might never get consumed. Sick of watching the bartenders sweat it out as the line stacks up? We have bar offerings (and service strategies) to get through the initial post-ceremony rush ensuring your guests get back to the mingling (and of course, EATING) quickly!
When it comes time for the main course, tacos are front and center! Grilled fish, carne asada, slow roasted carnitas and black bean tacos are among the favorites that are made to order while each guest helps themselves to exciting sides like grilled street corn, sweet potato hash and avocado-ranch summer salad!
Pricing overview:
Labor, date and distance will all play a role in a quote from any caterer. Our full service catering ranges between $4000 up to $10,000+ (averaging around $7800) with per person totals from $45-$110+ (for food and bar service). We look forward to working on a quote for you!

TRAIL BREAK started as an idea to bring something that was lacking around the Upper Valley: a fun, vibrant hangout spot that happens to serve some of the best scratch made food around. My focus has always been on the overall experience of dining at a restaurant - not just what's on the plate - and this has naturally extended into our taco trailer business. We are a crew that clearly has fun at events (we'd have to given that we roll up with a giant, bright, plaid wrapped trailer) & focuses on VALUE. We have been ALL over VT, NH and beyond during our 600+ events and look forward to the next one
