Trail Creek Ranch

Located in beautiful Jackson Hole in the little town of Wilson, WY, Trail Creek Ranch is a historic ranch venue that hosts weddings and other landmark events. This venue’s staff welcomes couples seeking rustic charm and stunning mountain views for their special celebration. You and your guests can anticipate an authentic western setting to hold your wedding festivities. Elizabeth “Betty” Woolsey was an avid skier and in 1936 captained the first women’s Olympic ski team. This athlete discovered the excellent powder skiing near what is now the Main Lodge of Trail Creek Ranch. Betty bought the first part of this property in 1942, growing it to its current 270 acres in size. The Ranch has been open to guests since 1946, especially those planning trips into the nearby Grand Teton National Park, Yellowstone National Park, and Gros Ventre Range. Furthermore, Betty made preparations with the Jackson Hole Land Trust to preserve the character of this estate before her passing in 1997. Thus the Ranch continues to be a beautiful retreat and a welcoming space for visitors to enjoy the great outdoors. Trail Creek Ranch can be an ideal setting for a dream country wedding, with several sites on the property to hold your festivities. You may exchange your vows in a ceremony beneath the open sky or perhaps in front of the historic barn. You can enjoy a reception in a tent upon the pastures. For smaller, more intimate parties, the historic 1930s Bircher Barn is a marvelous spot for a smaller dinner for up to 20 guests.
