Trailing Twine Photography

nergy the team brought to both events, their creativity and the fun we had at both events cannot be understated! Even our wedding guests had glowing compliments for the team, their professionalism and friendliness was noticed by everyone. We are so thrilled with the photos we have received and highly recommend Trailing Twine Photography for your special events. 📸 🎞️

Ling is creative & dedicated to telling your story through photographs. We had our engagement and wedding photos done by her & can say she is the real deal! Having three photographers at our wedding was excellent & the team was great about overcoming challenges of the day & being there to help us with ANYTHING, photography related or not. We had such great confidence that our wedding would be captured, and with all of the stress of the day it was nice to be able to trust this team! Can’t thank them enough!

and of course our wedding day, Ling and her team made our wedding vision come to life. Every single photo and video they took was sheer perfection, and they took the time to truly make sure that every element of our wedding was captured. Look no further than Ling and the Trailing Twine team if you are looking to have a picture-perfect event or wedding!!

1000% focused on you. During your final details meeting they run down everything and make sure everything that you want to do is done. They make sure you feel comfortable throughout and are such a huge stress reliever. Even if you’re camera shy they make you feel like a model and you can relax faster in front of the camera. They always offer you multiple ways of doing things and I like how they have the flexibility to go with the flow, and see how things play out, and adjust accordingly. I was absolutely thrilled when they offered us a late night shoot during the reception due to the weather earlier in the day. It was so much fun and I know the pictures will be worth it! Even though it rained and was super windy majority of my wedding day, Ling and her team kept the positive vibes and energy going so much so, that it didn’t bother me as much as I thought it would! I had an absolute blast working with the Trailing Twine team and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a photographer/videographer for their wedding day. I could not be happier and I am so thankful to the team. These photos and videos are going to be cherished for a lifetime. I cannot thank them enough, they were a huge part of my big day, and a huge reason why it was so successful and so enjoyable and fun! You will not regret having the Trailing Twine Team as your photography/videography vendor. They will give you the most valuable memories recreated through beautiful photos and videos. You’ll look at a photo and instantly get those same feelings back that you had in the photo. There’s nothing more special than being able to look back and feel just as amazing as you did on your big day. Thank you again to Ling and her amazing team.

appier with how they captured our day :)

pictures were gorgeous. For our wedding we were lucky enough to work with Ling again and meet two more amazing members of the team, Jaqueline and Sarah. They were all so fun to work with and are really amazing at what they do! They were very familiar with the wedding venue and knew exactly where to take pictures and what time of day the lighting would be good and when the sun would be setting. Ling pieced together a perfect wedding day timeline, which was incredibly helpful. Everything ran so smoothly and the Trailing Twine team knows how to make the process so fun and easy! The website and client portal are very easy to use and kept the planning process very organized. They sent us sneak peak photos of our wedding within days and they were absolutely beautiful! My husband and I are so grateful to have worked with Trailing Twine for our engagement shoot and wedding day, they are amazing!

truly want to get to know you and what you like and work with you as if you've known them for years. We may not have seen our pictures yet for the wedding day, but we already know we'll be blown away. Any picture events in our lives that we need a photographer/videographer we know exactly who we will be calling ! Book with trailing twine if you want to be able to relive and see your love for each other exploding through the moments they capture!

annot recommend them highly enough. Ling was great from the start. They brought both great technical expertise and some common sense to make a great plan. We had an outside wedding and we weren't sure if about internet connection or how strong the cell reception would be, but Ling and Trailing Twine put all our fears to rest. On the day of they showed up, coordinated with everyone to ensure a great video-stream, and then edited a copy right on the spot to leave with us before we left. Nothing was quite as amazing as getting to watch the video of our wedding the next morning. We could not be happier with Ling and Trailing Twine. Definitely recommend if you all are looking for a livestream.

rsonable, hard working and extremely organized and truly made us feel like family throughout the whole process. We were lucky enough to work with Ling and Jenna for our engagement session and then with Jenna and Jacqueline on our wedding day. The team at Trailing Twine honestly never misses one single beat. They take the time to get to know you, provide you a once in a lifetime service and keep your nerves at bay throughout the whole process. From our engagement session to a mini pre-wedding session and of course, our wedding day, Ling and her team delivered the most beautiful product. We could not have been more thankful to have them on our team and now we have these beautiful photos to remember for a lifetime!

ar due to the pandemic. Prior to the big day, she took my husband and I (and our dog!) out for an engagement session in order to get to know us better and to break the ice with having professional photos taken. My husband and I can both be a bit stiff when posing and Ling was excellent at getting us to loosen up and be natural on camera. That effort definitely came through on the finished product. She was excellent at being more "in the background" and not super in your face while still commanding the room and getting all the right shots. She is very communicative and always responded promptly to questions or emails. She was also such a sweet person to work with, she always made us feel like we were just hanging out with a friend rather than a professional photographer. On our (actual) big day, the rest of her team were fantastic, had it not been for photography assistant Justin none of the groom's party would have gotten their boutonnieres on correctly! Cannot say enough great things about Trailing Twine Photography, 10/10 would recommend! Thanks Ling :)

t of pure joy. Jenna was the lead photographer for our wedding and not only did she capture beautiful photos but her personality kept the nerves down and the excitement up. Jenna and Ling met with me before the wedding and went over in detail the pictures I really wanted to get and family photos that needed to be taken. I am so happy I was recommended to Trailing Twine Photography and I will absolutely be hiring them again in the future!

people uninvited were able to be there for the ceremony. Also we got the video for us to keep and rewatch again. I thought I didn’t want to initially spend the money on a video but I am so happy I did. The quality was great and the keepsake memory is amazing and I would have regretted not having a video. Ling is super organized and has all her bases covered. Would not recommend more.

he follows that up with an amazing personality that puts you at ease and allows you to have fun with the photography. She doesn’t pose you, but helps guide you to make sure she is getting great shots. My husband doesn’t love getting his photo taken and can’t always relax in those sorts of situations. However, you wouldn’t know this based on our photos. This is one of the reasons we are so thankful to Ling. She made us both feel comfortable and allowed us to be ourselves while making us look good. Thank you Ling for capturing our day with photos that will allow the memories to last forever.

in touch with some amazing vendors when I hit brick walls! Our photos so far are incredible. Our wedding was just this past Saturday,(only 2 days ago) and I can't wait to see the rest of the photos! She is fabulous with sneak peeks and quick too!!!! Trust me, she will not disappoint!!!! I would hire her again in a heart beat! THANK YOU LING FOR ALL YOU DO!!

no details missed! These photographers became our friends very quickly and made us feel so comfortable. Oh! And the pictures that they do take, are absolutely breathtaking! I love how they do their best to take pictures of the real, genuine moments. Thank you Ling and your amazing team for all the smiles and laughs we shared on our perfect day!

imply amazing. We knew after the engagement shoot that she was super talented. But the wedding photos/album took our breath away. So many people have told us how beautiful the photos were and that “your photographer was amazing”. Not just Ling but her team were incredible, extremely thoughtful and respectful. Many of my bride friends have asked who our photographer was and one has even booked her! I can’t say enough wonderful things about Ling and Trailing Twine Photography. We definitely recommend Ling for all of your wedding photography needs!

xactly what I wanted and needed in a photographer. So instead of completely missing out, we booked Ling for our engagement photos. After filling out her survey, she had the PERFECT location. We met Ling and her husband on a Sunday afternoon (we wanted sunset photos) and what I thought was going to be awkward turned out to be a blast. My now husband and I had SO. MUCH. FUN. throughout our entire shoot. It felt natural and the photos that resulted from that session are STUNNING. I can't pick a favorite, I love them all and Ling made us look like models. Well worth the money and now we have photos we will cherish for ever. She has a talent for capturing your personalities and how you interact as a couple. Her photos capture the moment, they aren't a bunch of staged photos... which results in truly remarkable images that celebrate you and your partner (and your dog if you bring them along like we did). Do yourself a favor and if Ling's style speaks to you, stop looking and contact her, and if she's got your date free BOOK HER. You won't regret it. I really wish she was there on our wedding day, but I'm so thankful we made room in our budget for a session with her.

irst time. She was so genuinely nice and really tried to get to know us which made the experience really easy through the whole wedding experience. We did an engagement shoot with Ling and had such a blast. She made us feel so comfortable taking pictures and really likes the natural/candid shots which we loved. She takes the time to do a reveal with your engagement and wedding pictures which I think says a lot about Ling. You can tell with her excitement on the wedding day and when she gets a great shot or if the lighting is perfect. She loves what she is doing and I think that is so important in a photographer especially through the craziness of a wedding. Ling is a very calm person which makes you calm and allows you to enjoy your wedding. She was our only photographer at the wedding and she did an amazing job capturing what we wanted. She did not push us away from certain things and really wanted to please us. Our guests kept complimenting how kind and fun Ling was to be around. During the reception you wouldn't even know Ling was there she was never in our face but always there to get the shot. I cannot wait to see our pictures. She even added a blog post the next morning on Facebook as a sneak peak! So cool. We cannot thank her enough for all she has done for us and we will continue to use her through our life adventures.
