I had Anellyse as my MUA for my wedding day and she was absolutely amazing!!! I am very indecisive and gave her a few ideas with freedom to do what she wanted and she nailed it. My trial I didn’t have to fix anything and she met the assignment for my wedding day! I couldn’t recommend her enough! My mom, MIL and sister all felt beautiful and so happy with their make up!

Transcendent did hair for our wedding and they did a beautiful job!! My hair is very fine and long-ish (a few inches past my collarbones) and they helped come up with a style with some nice waves, hair partially up to keep it out of my face, but still enough volume to feel full. I felt awesome all day. Also, my bridesmaids and the moms looked beautiful too! The Transcendent team is so kind and easy to work with - highly recommend.

My hair and makeup fell through a few weeks before my wedding and I got so lucky that I was able to book with transcendent for my hair incredibly last minute. I worked with Adrianna and she squeezed me in for a trial 2 days before my wedding, and tried multiple styles so I got exactly what I wanted. The day of the wedding she did my hair, 2 bridesmaids, 2 moms, and 2 flower girls. Everyone loved their hair, and she even very patiently re-did one of the flower girls after she messed it up. Highly, highly recommend hiring Adrianna if you have the opportunity!

Stacie and Charlie were AMAZING for make up and hair, I felt so confident after my trial but I’ve been in tons of weddings and I truly feel me and my bridesmaids had the best hair and make up I’ve ever seen, everybody’s held up the entire night and just looked so gorgeous. I am not one that usually wears a lot of make up either and they really made me feel like me but the most beautiful version. Also getting our hair and make up done in the hotel was so fun, it was like hanging out with friends they made everything so fun and easy. I would HIGHLY recommend using Transcendent I could not have been happier to have them be a part of my day.

I had an amazing experience using Transcendent Studio for myself (bride), bridal party (8 bridesmaids), mother/MIL, and grandma for both hair & make up the day of the wedding! Anellyse was my MUA, and Kelli did my hair - LOVED working with both of them on both my trial/day of. Prices were affordable, and the whole team was incredible & efficient - especially with the large bridal party they had to accommodate.

Stacie and her team were incredible. I’ve never felt so beautiful as I did on my wedding day! My mom was a little hesitant to get her makeup done, but they did an amazing job on her and listened to what everyone was comfortable with/preferred for their hair and makeup. After searching for hair and makeup artists for what felt like months, I stumbled upon Stacie, Yen, and their team through a friend who had recently gotten married. Their prices were right in my range, they have an entire team of EXTREMELY talented artists, and they were available on my date - all I needed to hear. I went with Stacie for makeup and Shanice for hair. There is not enough space on the internet to gush about the talent between these two, so I will keep it short. They are both extremely friendly, receptive to feedback, calming (you will need it the morning of your wedding, trust me), and amazing at what they do. After my trial, I was the annoying bride who changed my mind about everything. They both took what I said and put it into action the day of the wedding without skipping a beat. I first met Stacie when I was a bridesmaid in my friend’s wedding and I instantly fell in love with her work. I am very picky when it comes to make-up, but I loved the way Stacie did my make-up for that wedding. When I got engaged, I knew that I needed to have Stacie and the Transcendent team as part of my day. They did not disappoint! I had a large bridal party with 13 bridesmaids and was initially worried that we would not all be able to be ready in time on the morning of the wedding. However, the Transcendent team was able to accommodate my large bridal party without any issue and met the make-up desires of all of my bridesmaids. Stacie did my personal make-up exactly as I had envisioned and I so thankful for her expertise and talents and to have had her on my special day!

Yen & Meghan were incredible to work with for our wedding! I booked with Transcendent because I know they do great work (did both my sister’s & MOH’s weddings). I had my hair and makeup done by Yen & Meghan at my matron of honors wedding and I knew I had to have them for my wedding! After booking a venue and solidifying a date, Transcendent was the first vendor I booked! Yen was super responsive to all my questions and was accommodating with any adjustments I needed to make. She was even able to order me a full sized lipstick for the day of my wedding & I know I’ll continue to use it! When I had my trial it was such a comfortable experience and the end result was perfect! Fast forward to the day of the wedding, both Yen & Meghan arrived early which helped the day run smoothly. All hair and makeup looked beautiful and was done ahead of schedule! Having a few extra minutes really helped to calm my nerves on the big day. Both Yen & Meghan are great to talk to and my entire bridal party and both mothers were so pleased with their work. There is no reason to look elsewhere for hair and makeup because Transcendent is the best in CT!!

If I could give Stacie and Shanice 10 stars I would. They made me and my girls look absolutely stunning on my big day, and my makeup did not budge after 12 hours, and 5+ hours of that being dancing! My hair that Shanice did was equally as amazing, and held up for pictures and dancing the night away! Look no further than Transcendent for your makeup and hair needs for your wedding! Will absolutely be using them for future special events as well!

The Transcendent Makeup & Hair team was amazing to work with! Yen was very accommodating with the multiple requests I had for schedule revisions. Danyell made us feel beautiful with her talented makeup skills! She even came outside while we were taking wedding party photos to do touch ups before she left. Shanice is amazing with hair! I am thoroughly impressed with her work and how many different hair styles she was willing and able to tackle! Danyell and Shanice were both positive and fun additions to the day!

Transcendent Makeup and Hair was great to work with. They always returned emails quickly and answered any questions promptly. They were very organized and made a schedule for the day of the wedding that made everything flow seamlessly. Ashleigh was my makeup artist and she was absolutely amazing. My bridesmaids and mom were so happy with the results and they all looked gorgeous. I have never felt so beautiful and after a very long day of photos, dancing, and an after party that ended at 1am, my makeup still looked flawless. Shanice was my hair stylist and I swear she is a miracle worker. I have very fine and thin hair and when I saw the finished product I couldn’t believe that it was all my hair and again, my hair didn’t budge all night. I would highly recommend using Transcendent for your special day.

Yen, Stacie, and the whole team are absolutely incredible to work with! Every one of the artists are not only talented, but kind and compassionate. I hired Transcendent for hair and makeup for my wedding. Our stylists did a beautiful job and all the ladies were so happy with how their hair and makeup came out! We all received so many compliments throughout the night.

I cannot say enough great things about Transcendant!! Yen was absolutely amazing to work with throughout the whole process - super responsive to all of my questions and during my trial she helped suggest how to shift the makeup look to match my coloring and features. She also gave me a few tips for taking care of my skin in the weeks leading up to my wedding so that it would look its best. Meghan brought the hairstyle I wanted to life, showcasing special floral hairpins I used in lieu of a veil. They were both so kind and fun, and made me (and my bridesmaids and mom) feel beautiful! And they actually took into account the few notes I had made for minor changes to both hair and makeup after my trials. Everything about their process was so clear and their pricing was extremely competitive for the quality they delivered. I was shocked when I learned there was no price difference for having Yen (one of the owners) doing my makeup, and I really appreciated that transparency. Don’t look any further - you definitely want to book them! I will 100% be recommending them to friends getting married and will use them myself if I need hair/makeup for a photoshoot or event in the future!

I used Transcendent for my wedding and they did an amazing job. Yen did my makeup which came out great. It lasted all day and night, even in the hot and humid July weather. Shanice did my hair with extensions that were perfectly color matched from photos I sent, and did a great job the day of. I could not have been happier with my hair and makeup. I truly am beyond blown away by my entire experience with the Transcendent Makeup & Hair Team! In the beginning of my wedding process I was stressed about finding the right hair and makeup team for my big day. I read every review, spoke to numerous friends and family members, and highly researched all options from all angles. And, I landed right where I was meant to be and couldn’t be happier! Stacie was my makeup artist, and her level of professionalism was more than I could have ever asked for. She was prompt when responding to my emails, highly organized and the team’s wedding contract was clear and detailed. I did my trial back in October 2021 for a June 2022 wedding, and during my trial, Stacie took my inspiration photos and delivered my look to a whole new level. She gave me the perfect rose gold eye, with just the right amount of a wing and then applied individual eyelashes so my eyes didn’t appear heavy with a huge lash strip weighing them down. She truly catered to my individual eye shape (same with all my bridesmaid) and made me look like the best version of myself on my wedding day! Also, during the time of my trial, I expressed to Stacie that the “Moms” (Mother of the Bride and Mother of the Groom) were both unsure and nervous about having their hair and makeup done. As the bride, I thought it was important to have both Moms get pampered on the morning of my wedding. This is as much their day, as it is mine! So we scheduled a trial for the Moms in March and both Stacie and my hair stylist Nicole, made them feel so comfortable and beautiful that they agreed to both services. They truly made the experience so pleasant for them and my Mom was in tears because for once, she was the one getting pampered. I was so happy that Stacie and the team made my dreams come true and both Moms looked so beautiful! Now to my hair stylist Nicole! I expressed to Stacie that I wanted a timeless look for my hair. I wanted to look back on my hair 10, 20, 30 years from now and still be in love with it. I decided on 1920’s glamour waves! Hence, the perfect pairing with Nicole! Nicole is a true master when it comes to glamour waves! No joke, she takes master classes all around the country in order to achieve the perfect glamour wave. She is the best in the business! When we did my trial I was in love. She knew exactly what she was doing, how to set my hair, the right products for my type of hair, and she had the proper tools to achieve this look! Even from the time of my trial in October, Nicole would message me with updates on how she was going to evaluate my look even more! Or that she learned a new technique and couldn’t wait to do it on my wedding day! Nicole brings all the right kind of energy! Overall, Transcendent made my wedding day all to easy! I had big bridal party that consisted of 8 bridesmaids, 2 moms, and me the bride, with a ceremony start time of 1:00pm. Talk about stressful, but they made it feel easy. They stayed right on schedule, nothing felt rushed, and I had the best morning with all the girls! Please reference the photos below for their amazing work! My hair and makeup stayed ALL DAY AND NIGHT and let me tell you, I DANCED the night away! I highly recommended this team for your big day or if you are in need of hair and makeup services! THEY ARE THE BEST and I am forever grateful for them being apart of my special day!

Can not say enough wonderful things about them. Stacie was amazing from the first interaction I had via email. When I went to have my trial I didn’t really know what I was looking for as I’m not a huge make up and hair person. I told them I wanted to look natural and gave them a little idea of what I wanted and boy did they deliver. Aneyllse and Shirley were the artists I used and they did an OUTSTANDING job. Our day started very early at 520 am they were there on time in fact a couple minutes early and were ready to go. They were very quick and efficient and we ended up getting finished before we expected. All the girls were very happy with how there hair and makeup came out. And for those who started at 520 their hair and makeup as well as all of the rest of us stayed in tact for the whole evening. I am beyond impressed with how great they are and highly recommend them. In fact one of my bridesmaids may be using them for her upcoming wedding because she was so impressed!

Stacie and Shirley - all I can say is WOW AND THANK YOU!!! From the trials to the wedding day, these ladies were so sweet. Stacie helped so much with booking and answered thousands of questions that I had. They both truly got to know me at the trial and my likes and dislikes to make my perfect look. I had changed how I wanted to do my hair, from down to up, and they took on another trial so I knew I was making the right decision. There were a few changes to the wedding day and they were of course super accommodating. They arrived early for getting ready and were done at a great time for the 5 of us getting hair and makeup done. Every single one of us looked absolutely gorgeous, and everything held up the entire day, even though it was hot, humid, and we were all sweating like crazy. The ladies know what they are doing and can't thank them enough for making us look so amazing in pictures. Much love <3

Yen and Shirley are INCREDIBLE!!! Both hair and makeup for my bridal party and Mother of the Bride and Mother of the groom was unbelievable. None of my bridal party typically wears makeup, so the airbrush technique that Yen does was amazing. Our makeup looked so natural and beautiful, I cannot say enough good things. My mother has "mature skin" (she's 65), and was REALLY worried about having her makeup done because she "didn't want to look cake-y" and anytime she's had her makeup done in the past she felt like it accentuated her wrinkles. Not only was Yen SO PATIENT with her and helped explain how the airbrushing works, but by the end of it I can honestly say my mother was thrilled with how her makeup turned out. She was so thrilled, in fact, that she even asked for fake lashes like the rest of us were getting because she admitted that she had always wanted to try them. If Yen can make my mother happy with makeup, she can make anyone happy with makeup!! Shirley did our hair and was the most efficient and accommodating hair stylist that I have ever seen. There were 8 of us total and Shirley kept us ahead of schedule the entire time. My older sister even commented that she liked her hair better for my wedding than she did for her own!! Shirley worked with extensions, super short hair, very fine hair and many different style preferences flawlessly and every single one of us was so happy with the outcome. Both of these women were also just so nice and a great team to start off one of the most hectic (and wonderful) days of your life with! I think their personality is a really huge part of what made my otherwise very long and hectic morning a little less stressful than it could have been (8 women, three kids and miscellaneous husbands/ boyfriends and friends running through my house between 7am and 1pm when we finally left for the venue). I HIGHLY recommend Transcendent Makeup and Hair!!!!

Stacie and Yen's team is absolutely amazing. I am a black bride who was looking for a natural curly hairstyle for my day and Shanice my stylist EXCEEDED expectations. It can be really hard to find bridal styling for natural/curly hair. She can work with any hair texture (she was put to the test that day) and we all came out stunning! As for our makeup, I also can't say enough great things about Mackenzie. Our makeup came out gorgeous and lasted throughout the whole night! Shanice and Mackenzie helped us all have such a stress free morning full of laughs, and I can't thank them enough for being part of our special day and making the environment so fun! What can I not say about Stacie and Yen!!! I’ve known for years that they would be the makeup artists for me and my girls! They were my first vendor I booked after my venue. My makeup day of was perfect as I expected and I still had it on at brunch the next morning! Thank you, thank you, thank you!! Oh, and they traveled all the way to NJ for my wedding, so just know they’ll travel anywhere!

Shanice (hair) delivered exactly what I wanted (totally different from the trial, since I changed my mind), and Anellyse (makeup) absolutely blew it out of the water both for me and the bridal party. They did such a wonderful job and they were also easy going and nice to talk to both during my trial and on the day of. I can’t say enough good things about Transcendent makeup. Stacie and Yen were incredibly responsive when it came to planning the day. Stacie and Danyell made everyone’s makeup look so beautiful and natural. Adrianna and Nicole made all the hair dreams come true! Adrianna even was able to switch up my hair from what we had planned at the trial and it was absolutely perfect. We had a pretty big party, but the whole team worked so well together and finished early! Could not have asked for an easier and more talented hair and makeup team than these wonderful ladies!

I had such an amazing experience working with the ladies of Transcendent! Yen, the co-owner was extremely quick to respond to all of my questions and requests!! I can’t say enough about how wonderful Yen, Shirley and the whole Transcendent team was during my trial and on my wedding day! Using Transcendent as my HMU team for my wedding was such an easy decision. After seeing the incredible work they did I reached out right away. From there, the process was so easy. Yen kept everything so organized throughout the entire process. Shirley did such an amazing job on my hair every single time, she is so talented! Yen did my makeup and it was incredible. The makeup and hair lasted all day without any issues. I highly recommend this team, they are fantastic!

I was so happy with my experience with Transcendent! They did a trial for me early on and it was essentially perfect, and they are so friendly! Very professional, they listen to the requests of their clients while also providing expertise. My hair (which I have A LOT of) stayed put for my whole wedding from like 2pm until 12am that night (when I took it out). Highly recommend these ladies, they were very efficient with time as well. Overall, great experience!

Transcendent makeup was a great choice for my wedding day makeup! My make-up artist, Mackenzie, was one of the most talented people I have ever met. I have seriously never seen my wedding party look better. She chose color palettes that complemented each girl so incredibly. My make-up held throughout the full day of drinking, eating, and 90% humidity. Highly highly recommend Mackenzie! All communications went through Yen, who was always kind and quick to respond to any questions leading up to the wedding day!

Nicole and Danyell were absolutely amazing! I couldn't have asked for a better team for my wedding day hair and makeup. Yen and Mackenzie were absolutely amazing! They made my entire (picky and nervous) bridal party feel so comfortable and beautiful. Stacie and Yen’s team is incredible! Their communication was clear and responses were timely. As we currently live out of state, they went out of their way to accommodate my trial during the busy summer season, and were very flexible when we had to reschedule from 08/2020 to 08/2021 due to COVID-19. I rarely do much more than straighten my hair and wear pretty basic makeup, so I was a little apprehensive about looking too made up for my wedding day. However, they captured exactly what I wanted - a natural bronzed and glowy look. Despite the 90 degree heat and getting ready at 6 am, my makeup did not budge, and I didn’t look shiny at all. My hair looked perfect, even heading into my after party. They made my mom look and feel like a queen, and all of my bridesmaids loved their looks as well. They were on time, professional, funny, and they very clearly love what they do. I would highly recommend Transcendent to everyone!

Yen and her team were amazing to work with every step of the way! As someone who doesn’t know how to do my own hair or makeup, I admire their work, and I loved how special they made me and my bridesmaids feel on my wedding day. They can accommodate all skin types and textures, as well as all types of hair. I have extremely thin, brittle hair that makes it challenging to work with for a special event. But Kelly and yen made me feel great and gave me no reason to be self-conscious that day. If you’re looking to kick off your wedding day with a group of fun and hardworking stylists, look no further! Yen was awesome! My makeup artist fell through 3 months before my wedding, and I’m so glad that happened or I wouldn’t have found Yen. She is such a sweet person, and REALLY knows her stuff. I am Asian with monolids, and have never enjoyed makeup because I feel it makes me look weird. At my trial, Yen gave me tips to use in everyday makeup, and even helped me learn that I have hooded monolids, which no one has ever told me! She was able to accentuate what I wanted (I love my freckles and didn’t want them hidden, and also wanted my eyes to look bigger) and make me look flawless while still looking like myself. On the day of, Yen and Mackenzie arrived, set up super quickly, and got to work. Everyone loved their makeup and said it was the best makeup they’ve ever had done. When it was my turn, Yen talked to me about normal things and kept me calm, and the next thing I knew, I was all done. I can’t thank her enough for making me look and feel beautiful on my wedding day. Now I know that makeup doesn’t have to make me look weird if you have a talented, incredible makeup artist like Yen! I will be going back to her for all special event makeup!! Highly recommend!

Danyell did our makeup for my wedding. I had done a trial with her prior and it came out fabulous. She was willing to work with our schedule of hair/makeup at the same time! All of our makeup came out fabulous! HIGHLY recommend as Yen & Stacie as well as Danyell work well together! Thank you for making my day so special!!!

I cannot recommend Transcendent enough for hair and makeup! Yen and Stacie were professional and incredibly responsive to every email and question I had. I live about 2.5 hours away from CT where we got married so I did not do a hair or makeup trial, but I trusted their team from the minute they responded to my email inquiry for our wedding date. Danyell made me and all my girls so beautiful on my big day! And Adrianna did stunning updos (so quickly too!) that lasted all day and night. Yen, Shirley, Danyell, and Meghan were the glam squad of our dreams! Yen was so quick to respond to any questions I had leading up to my wedding and also was amazing for a trial. My makeup and hair (plus my 7 bridesmaids and mom and MIL) stayed flawless all day (12+) hours. Everyone was so happy with how their looks came out and couldn’t rave more about the quality of work from these amazing artists. I cannot recommend Transcendent enough!

The Transcendent Makeup team is amazing! We hired TM to do my wedding hair & makeup, as well as my bridal party's. I was so nervous about my makeup because I had no idea what I wanted, but after two makeup trials with Anellyse, a lot of tweaking, and Anellyse's generous patience, we hit the mark. And somehow on the day of, it looked even BETTER. Shirley styled my hair and hit it out of the park- it honestly looked better than the Pinterest photos I showed her! Danyell & Shanice also made-up my party and made them feel incredibly beautiful. Yen & Stacey have put together a phenomenal team, and I couldn't be more grateful. Stacie and Shirley did an incredible job with my bridal hair and makeup! I did a trial with them and knew that they were the right team for myself, my bridesmaids, and mothers. They are efficient, accommodating, personable, and knew exactly what we all wanted from pictures we showed them. Our makeup was natural, light, and stayed on the entire night, and so did our hairstyles. We all looked beautiful and our photos came out really nice as well. Working with Transcendent was a really enjoyable experience. We could not be happier with this team and would highly recommend them!

We had the absolute pleasure of working with Stacie and Yen to prepare for our wedding, as well as Nicole and Erin as hair stylists for myself, 7 bridesmaids and 2 moms getting ready with us. The set up began early and we were all dolled up even earlier than expected. All of the stylists worked with my girls to make them all look beyond beautiful. I was truly stunned at the professionalism, attention to detail and creative suggestions given to each one of us. Being in the wedding business myself, I have never experienced a smoother or stress-free wedding day prep. Stacie and Yen are amazing! I really wish that I had the actual words to describe how they made me feel and look on my wedding day. First off, they brought a team... an amazing team. The entire team was good at going with flow if someone wanted to change their hair or makeup from what they originally wanted. Everyone one on the team was well prepared and super organized. They work so efficiently and quick, when we were all done we had time to spare and actually sit and eat lunch! I can’t thank them enough for making us all feel and look like such queens! Definitely looking forward to working with them in the future (any chance I get I’m calling Stacie and Yen! Or recommending!!)

Yen was fabulous for our make up! She was friendly, professional and very talented! We had 4 very different skin tones and each of us looked great! I will definitely be using her services again when I need make up done!

I HIGHLY recommend Transcendent to anyone looking for makeup & hair. I had a makeup & hair trial pre-pandemic with Yen/Shirley and they killed it, they did an amazing job. I've never had airbrushed makeup before but it came out fantastic, I was blown away. Yen is incredible with an airbrush. Plus, it was an enjoyable experience overall, they were extremely welcoming, kind, and fun to be around. I booked Transcendent for my wedding this year which we unfortunately ended up cancelling, to be rescheduled in the future, but I texted with Yen regularly and she has always been understanding and kind. All around, these are great ladies and they do an incredible job of making you look and feel fantastic.

The morning of my December wedding was so cold (it was single digits!) but Stacie and Meghan showed up to the hotel early and ready to go! From getting a quote, to signing the contract, and throughout the morning of the wedding, Stacie was nothing but professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. On my wedding day, Stacie and Meghan made all of us look our best while being patient with us since we have very little experience with makeup. Because my wedding was so short notice, we didn’t have time to do a trial. This was no problem for Stacie and Meghan as they created the most perfect look I could think of for each one of us. I can’t recommend them enough! They were recommended to me by my best friend who got married in July 2019 and looked GORGEOUS, I’m glad I listened to her!

I can not recommend Transcend Makeup more! They just did the hair and makeup for my wedding and my bridesmaids and the results were nothing short of perfection!! My makeup looked so natural and beautiful and my hair was so intricate and exactly like the picture I showed them. My 6 bridesmaids all looked beautiful and absolutely loved their looks! The artists were professional, on time, worked quickly and really put their heart and soul into each look. I am thrilled I went with Transcendent for my wedding!

Working with Transcendent was amazing-the communication between Yen/Stacie to coordinate the makeup/hair was always fast and friendly! I'm very particular about my make up (I'm Korean and had 2 other trials before picking Anellyse), and I cannot say enough good things about Anellyse-she is super talented and listens to what her brides want. Mariah was the second MUA, and all of my girls looked and felt amazing! Erin did my hair, and again, she was lovely and did exactly what I wanted! We also had a second hair stylist (I forgot her name but she was blonde and lovely-my flower girl adored her!). Makeup and hair all lasted throughout the whole day!

Yenn was amazing for my wedding yesterday! All of the girls including myself looked beautiful!! My makeup was still intact hours after the wedding and I couldn’t be happier with how pretty I looked! Shirley did everyone’s hair and she was amazing as well! All of the girls up do’s looked perfect as well as my hair and MOB and MOG! They were extremely professional and had a perfect time line to get everyone on time! I would highly recommend them both! We all wished they could get us done up like this everyday!

Yen and Adrianna… WOW. What a team to work with. They came to our hotel that morning, got set up, and then next thing you know, BAM we were all ready for a wedding! They are very aware of time management- which with 8 girls getting hair and make up done- they did amazing- they were even ahead of schedule! Yen is such a fantastic make up artist- she made everyone feel so beautiful and I can’t wait to see her next October for my friends wedding!!! For my extremely curly haired friends- make sure you use them! Adrianna did one of my bridesmaids hair, which she has EXTREMELY curly hair and she is super picky about her curls, but Adrianna NAILED IT!

Stacie and Shirley were amazing and so professional! I spoke with a few different makeup and hair artists and I loved transcendent makeup the best for a few reasons – 1. They were Uber responsive and CALLED me a few hours after I put in a request. We had a quick phone call which was really nice and felt very genuine and warm. 2) They work with diverse clients and felt comfortable working with different skin tones and textures which I think is SUPER important, and 3) They are two best friends (Stacie and Yen) who started their own business and we couldn’t be happier to support a strong women-owned business. The process was very smooth and easy. Both Stacie (make up) and Shirley (hair) really listened to what I wanted and adjusted everything as needed. They also did full hair and makeup for my family and wedding party. They arrived early, were EXTREMELY efficient, very relaxing to talk to, and set a fun tone to the getting ready vibe. Would definitely hire them again for any type of professional makeup!!

Jackie and Kristen on the Transcendent team were such a pleasure to work with and did a phenomenal job on mine and my bridesmaids' hair and makeup! From the trial to the day-of, Kristen and Jackie made me feel so comfortable and were extremely helpful! Other than some Pinterest pictures of hair, I really had no idea what I wanted for my wedding look. Jackie and Kristen took time to chat with me and created looks that helped me look my absolute best on my wedding day! They were also so much fun to spend the morning with getting ready and stayed exactly on schedule all morning! Thank you ladies so much for helping make my wedding day absolutely amazing!

Yen and her team did a phenomenal job - we had a total of 11 hair+make up jobs and they handled each and every single one beautifully. All of my bridesmaids, mom, MIL and SIL were very happy with the Transcendent team (one of the hairstylists did a fantastic job making a faux hawk for one of my girls and she nailed it!). I felt amazing after Yen and Shirley were done with me - I didn't really even feel like I was wearing make up (big big thing with me) and my hair stayed secure the entire night of some crazy dancing, which I loved. Thank you all so much for making the big day so special! From the trial to the day of "making up", I was very glad I chose them! One other thing - I am Asian (Filipino) so I was concerned about getting the right make up for my skin tone, which is not often seen in these CT parts - Yen did a great job and I felt, the entire day and into the night, completely myself (and not have "ghost face", which has happened before). I think I differ a bit from the way hair and makeup trends are going. Many vendors I looked at before seem to be specializing in that very "natural" look. As beautiful as that is.. I wanted to look very glam and made up on my wedding day. After doing some research online and on Instagram, I came across Transcendent and one other vendor that had the glam style I was looking for. The other vendor was almost double the price, plus I was very impressed with Yen's professionalism and speed of response. I booked them and had Yen for my makeup and Adrianna for my hair. We had a blast at the initial trial, plus I got to know both artists very well during it. I loved the way my initial trial came out, and had no concerns about the day of the wedding. I decided to treat my wedding party, mom, and MIL to their hair and makeup as well. (Which is a great decision, as everyone looked amazing, and kept ranting and raving about their looks.) When it comes to vendors, I truly believe that you should just them an idea of what you are looking for, but trust their vision and give them the freedom to bring your vision to life. Thank you both! I looked and felt like a princess. Love you both!!

I highly recommend using Transcendent Makeup for your wedding day hair and makeup. I considered several hair/makeup options – I could not be happier with my decision to work with Stacie and her team. They were a joy to work with (and as an added bonus they are more reasonably priced than others). Stacie was helpful, organized and quick to respond. I was amazed how quickly and efficiently the team setup their tools on the morning of the wedding. I was even more amazed at the hairstylists’ ability to create beautiful hairstyles on my 4-year-old flower girls while they wiggled all over. The team listened to ideas of what we may want and gave suggestions on what will work best for our look. It was especially nice to work with such lovely ladies first thing in the morning who made us feel comfortable and confident. The bridal party all looked amazing and I felt beautiful with my bridal hair and makeup.

Transcendent did my hair & makeup for my wedding day and I was absolutely thrilled with how it turned out!! We did a trial session, and Jackie and Kristen were extremely responsive and worked hard to make it exactly what I wanted, and as a result on the day of my look turned out PERFECT! I had a large bridal party (10 people total) that they were doing hair/makeup for, and they were incredibly professional, organized, and friendly & kind to all of us. They showed up on site early and we ended up finishing ahead of schedule, which was huge for my wedding-day anxiety. All my girls were very pleased with how their looks turned out, and we got once in a lifetime photos out of it! Would definitely recommend their services!!

What an INCREDIBLE experience working with Transcendent Makeup and Hair!! They are one of the most affordable wedding makeup/hair groups in the area, and do an AMAZING job! During my wedding day, we had 2 hair stylists and 2 makeup artists for 10 girls. The staff all showed up right on time, and finished us all in perfect timing! My bridesmaids and family were so thrilled with their looks, stating "this is the prettiest I have ever felt with my hair/makeup professionally done for a wedding". My own hair and make-up blew me away, I have never felt so naturally beautiful. Thank you to the Transcendent team for making our wedding day so perfect!

I used transcendent for hair and makeup for myself and my bridal party for my wedding last weekend. I would highly recommend! I did not meet Stacie or Yen but the team they sent were great! They worked quickly and did an excellent job! Every girl is my party looked beautiful! We had updos and they were perfect! The makeup was air brush which was nice and the lashes were superior to one’s I’ve had as a bridesmaid previously. I contacted very late in the game and worked with Yen to set everything up. She was so nice, professional, and easy to work with. When I was sick and had a family emergency she worked with me to change trial dates and really went out of her way to accommodate. She always responded very quickly and I cannot say enough good things about her. They took different payment methods including Venmo, which for me was so easy. I would definitely recommend!

I stumbled across them on Instragram while researching makeup for my wedding and all throughout my planning leading up to my wedding day was blown away by Stacie! She’s kind, professional, and accommodating. Every interaction I had with her was incredible. When I went for my initial trial, she did an amazing job listening to what I wanted but still putting her own professional touch to give me the soft glam I was looking for! The day of my wedding I had 6 girls plus myself that needed makeup. Stacie got everyone done on time - never got behind schedule - and everyone looked amazing. The girls all loved their looks (and Stacie) and felt beautiful! My wedding makeup was PERFECT and made me feel so incredibly confident on my wedding day. From the hair and makeup trial to the wedding day itself, Stacie and Adrianna did a fantastic job. I received countless compliments from guests and proudly recommended them throughout the whole day. I had trouble finding the perfect lip color, and she used one of my tried-and-true colors from home to perfectly match her own lipstick for the day-of. I recently worked with Yen and Adrianna for my wedding in October 2018. I cannot say enough good things about these two! From our initial consult/trial, I knew they would be great to work with. They are responsive, professional, and so good at what they do! They made getting ready on wedding day a breeze. They worked their magic on hair and makeup for myself, my 5 bridesmaids, my mother, and my flower girl on wedding day - all on a slightly compressed schedule that we had to revise a few days before to accommodate for a last minute change-of-heart to do first-look pictures. All of my girls loved their hair and makeup, and loved Yen and Adrianna! They are so chill and easy to work with. They listened to feedback and direction and gave everyone exactly the look they wanted. I would definitely recommend working with Transcendent!

Yen was such a joy to have around on my wedding day. Yen was unbelievable accommodating during the planning stages of my wedding. She answered numerous questions, adjusted timing a few times when she did the hair and makeup for my engagement shoot, and she even offered to meet up with one of my MOHs who was really unsure about having her makeup done, given previous bad experiences. To say we were all satisfied is an understatement! I was slightly indecisive about how much makeup I wanted, but Yen listened closely, asked good questions and she was able to give me the perfect look! The makeup held up through many hours of pre-ceremony photos, a little rain and continued to look flawless throughout the night. I am so happy to have found Yen!

Oh my goodness! Where to even begin?! First, I (the bride) was referred to use this wonderful vendor by our photographer (friend) after searching and getting frustrated with looking for a traveling group to do hair & make up with, Transcendent exceeded my expectations on my wedding day and then some! Normally, being quick would be a flaw in my opinion, but when I say they did the job quickly, I mean they actually took their times on each one of my bridesmaids/MOH/mothers and myself and ended up perfecting all of our hair/make-up in such a timely manner that the bridal party had time to sit back, relax and enjoy a breakfast together. We even offered the team to stay and have breakfast with us, and I tried tipping them better than the average. Stacey (my make-up artist) made sure everything came out perfectly, and if I wanted to change anything, she was on top of job and didn't falter one bit! I cant thank this team enough for the incredible job they did, and absolutely recommend them to anyone in the CT area and looking for hair/make-up that will travel to them.

From my hair and makeup trial to my wedding day I was in complete awe with Transcendent! I had Stacie, Yen, and two other artists getting us ready the morning of my wedding.
