Both Denise and Ashley are wonderful! They both helped me start planning our 25th wedding anniversary vacation and vow renewal over a year ahead of time. We selected a resort from the many options provided and were very excited. Then the pandemic happened, and the resort we were so excited about decided to postpone opening a month before our trip date. Ashley was able to provide us with alternatives, and we were able to redirect to a beautiful resort, and she handled all of our plans, including the vow renewal ceremony. Ashley and Denise provided incredible customer service and attention to detail. There were so many extra details as we were traveling out of the country during the pandemic. We had an amazing vacation and can't wait for another one! I will never plan another vacation without their help!

My husband and I have had a great experience with Ashely for planning our honeymoon. We established with her initially in March, when COVID was ramping up, and she gave us a confidence that stuck with us through the entire process! We had to change plans a couple times, and she was always willing to be flexible and work with us. I have a complicated and ever-changing schedule with work and school, but she was able to navigate with us through it all. Denise ended up travelling to our destination, Cancun, and giving us helpful tips and details about travelling internationally during this time. They supplied us a helpful packing list and necessary documents for our trip that laid it all out for us to simply follow directions. In addition, Ashley helped us find a 2 trips-for-1 deal at the resort, and continued to help us plan our SECOND trip almost immediately following our initial honeymoon!

We recently traveled to Excellence El Carmen in Dominican Republic . Denise and her team presented us with several options and helped us narrow our search down to Excellence el carmen. Our trip was amazing! Our flights were planned out perfectly with no long layovers, but just enough time to do what was needed. When we arrived in Punta Cana we were picked by our private transfer that was top notch. We arrived at our resort and we were completely in awe. Every detail was handled and we were treated like VIP. We never worried about anything while we were there. The resort was exactly like we were told and beautiful! Our private transfer from the resort back to the airport was again top notch. Travel Concepts has always proven to want the best for their customers. We have used them for 2 prior trips and will continue to use them for future trips. We highly recommend them! This was definitely a trip we will repeat.

Ashley was so helpful in planning our trip! We loved the resort that she recommended and can't wait to return! Everything was very clearly communicated to us via email, phone and mail. We received all of our travel documents and luggage tags in advance via mail, which was a nice surprise. When we arrived in Mexico, we had an issue that I needed assistance with but I was having trouble making outgoing calls to the US. We LOVED Travel Concepts and Ashley! During the wedding planning, we also started to plan our honeymoon by ourselves; after a week or two, we decided to take some stress off our shoulders and find a travel agency. We saw Travel Concepts on The Knot and contacted them. We have never used a service before so we were not sure what to expect. Ashley reached out right away and gave us information about the services they provide and what booking with them entailed. She laid out the payment process and paying online or over the phone was quick and easy. We have never worked with a travel agency and did this time due to being a part of a wedding. Communication was wonderful, everything was set up and went smoothly from start to finish. Our experience in Mexico from transport from airport to resort and back went smoothly. The communication and things sent prior to our trip on preparing for our travels and what to do during customs as well as what to expect at resort when we arrived was so helpful. I was planning a fun getaway for my sister and a couple friends for a bachelorette party. It became too overwhelming so I looked up Travel Concepts. Denise and Ashley were wonderful to work with. I let her know where I was thinking and what budget I was interested in. I had done some research prior so I informed her of certain ones I had my eye on. I am so lucky to have found travel concepts KC! They were affordable and very efficient! My husband and I took a 16 day 1st anniversary trip to several different places in Europe. Our travel agent (Ashley) was absolutely amazing. We gave her some ideas on what we wanted out of the trip which included traveling to 4 different countries, and she did it all! She made everything so organized and simple for us. My husband and I have never used a travel agency before (we always thought we couldn’t afford it) but this company was affordable and made this experience genuine. I will NEVER again plan my own trip. I will always go through them. Thank you guys for everything! We had a few bumps on the road (not their fault) but flight delays, and they assisted us through the entire thing and figured new flights out for us so we could still get home that day! We love Travel Concepts!! We recently used Travel Concepts for an anniversary celebra-cation to Riviera Maya. We stayed at the beautiful all inclusive Unico resort. Everything we could've ever needed was at our fingertips. We were provided very detailed information with us about the resort and restaurants that were available. Denise and her team were great to work with again. This was our second trip that we used Travel Concepts for. Everything that you need while traveling to your destination is at your fingertips in a very detailed travel itinerary that is put together by Denise and her team. We did have a small hiccup with our flight, but the Travel Concepts team were on top of it to fix it so we could be on our way. They even checked in with us to make sure we arrived at our destination. Our transport from the airport to the resort was wonderful and above the our expectations. We used Travel Concepts for our honeymoon trip to Moorea Tahiti and it did not disappoint as well. Denise and her team are always available for any questions you have while you are away enjoying your celebra-cation and that is very comforting. We loved everything about our honeymoon through travel concepts. Our personal shuttle service, the resort, and all the excursions were superb. The only downfall we ran into was our flight home was cancelled months before and we didn’t find out until arriving at the airport the day we were scheduled to leave. We sat in the airport for 6 hours, when we could have been on the beach, due to the next available flight not being available until that afternoon. We were re-routed and put on standby to make it home on time. If the rest of the week wouldn’t have been so perfect, this would have ruined our whole vacation. We were never made aware of flight changes by travel concepts or our airline.

We experienced an amazing Celebra-cation in Riviera Maya at Unico (a new luxurious resort with amazing all-inclusives). Loved every minute of it and so happy they introduced us to it! We were so impressed with the travel planning and coordination offered by Travel Concepts - the reason I continue to use them! Everything was handled so efficiently and made it stress free for us, thank you!!! Highly recommend!

When we arrived at the airport, we discovered that all flights to the East coast were delayed due to weather. We went to the ticket counter and the lady put us on "standby" on a different flight that wouldn't leave until the next day. When we called TC, they kept telling us to ask people there about what to do. We were going to miss two full days in Rome at the rate it was going. Another huge tour group was also going to Rome, and their travel agency had already re-routed them to somewhere else for a few days, and paid for all of the new arrangements. TC had us go to the tour group and ask what they were doing. We felt like we were in a boat without a paddle. I finally called American Airlines myself and got us booked on a flight that would at least get us to Rome later in the day, instead of two days later. We were very frustrated that TC (we had traveler's insurance as well) didn't feel the need to try and solve the problem for us. Isn't that why we paid them so much money? To be our voice in problems like this? Because of our re-route, we asked the ticket clerk at the next stop to make sure our checked bag arrived in Rome. They said it was stamped to move on. TC also assured us they had talked to them and gotten our bag moved. Sure enough, we arrived in Rome with no checked bag, which had a majority of our clothes, shoes, etc. We later found out that the airport expects you to go down to baggage claim, move the bag to another carousel, then go through security again. Had we done this, we would have missed our flight. All the flights on the way back were so close together we were running from plane to plane (and had to go down to the carousel, get our checked bag, and move it to another carousel, THEN go through security again). It was very frustrating that our time wasn't valued. We missed a whole day in Rome due to travel issues, and we spent the first two days there on the phone with our travel insurance to try and get our luggage back. Most of the tours booked were fine and we had a great time. I did really enjoy that they booked most of our travel between stops to be partial private or private, so we didn't deal with taxis. It was all pre-arranged. My husband and I learned the expensive way that we could have easily done this ourselves, and having an agent with "connections" didn't really help when it mattered.

Denise made planning our honeymoon easy! She provided us with multiple options after speaking to us on the phone to find out what exactly we were looking for. Denise sent our travel documents in advance and was able to answer any of our questions promptly.

Denise is very knowledgeable with many connections to make trips fabulous! We have used her services twice now and both have been very memorable!

The team at Travel Concepts are the best! They think of and take care of every detail. Everything about our trip experience was perfect with no issues. My wedding at The Moon Palace in Cancun Mexico was the second trip that Denise with Travel Concepts has planed for my family, so I knew she would do a great job. She was so easy to talk to and always took the time to understand what we wanted. See I did not want a super fancy or blingly wedding. All we did was tell her when we wanted to go and wanted to be a on pretty beach, she recommended The Moon Palace, it was a great all inclusive resort. Denise was a great help when it came to planing the wedding with the on site wedding planers, whenever there was something I needed help with or did not understand, she was right there to explain to me or willing to talk with them to get what I wanted. At one point Denise was out of town and Amy was a huge help in correlating my calls and emails with Denise when the location for the wedding was not on the beach. My whole family went and she booked us all on the same flight, coordinated the transport to and from the airport, and the couple of excursions she had set up for us - she had even talked to the resort when there was an issue with one of them and made sure it was seamless. We where able to just relax and have a wonderful time getting married in paradise. When it comes time for another trip Denise and Amy will be my go to when traveling.

Working with Denise and her team was an absolute pleasure! We had some ideas on some places to visit in Europe and a general time frame. Denise and her team took those ideas and put together a fantastic package and itinerary. We had so much fun and having Travel Concepts put it all together was amazing. We used Travel Concepts to book our honeymoon and they were fantastic to work with. They were very knowledgeable about our Resort, El Dorado Royale Casitas. We knew this is where we wanted to go but wanted to work with someone who was familiar with the resort. Booking through them was less expensive than booking everything on our own and we had the joy of letting them handle everything! 5 days before our honeymoon, we decided to upgrade rooms. Travel Concepts did all the leg work to make that happen. The day before we were to come home, we decided to extend our trip, once again we just contacted them and she made it happen! No stress on our end. If you normally book trips yourself, give them a try. So nice to save money AND let them handle all the paperwork. Will use them again for our next trip!

Travel Concepts is a great partner to have when planning vacations! As a groom my major wedding planning contributions was setting up honeymoon arrangements and since I didn't have many personal travel experiences I figured I better find some help. So I found and selected Travel Concepts. They helped us select a destination, set up ABSOLUTELY all the details, and gave us helpful hints for our time there. My husband and I got the privilege of working alongside Denise and Hannah of Travel Concepts for our wedding this summer. We went into our first meeting with Denise not knowing anything else besides we wanted to do a destination wedding, Denise took on the challenge and we ended up with a beautiful wedding in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. From October 2014, when we had our engagement party announcing our destination up to our wedding week, the ladies of Travel Concepts took care of us and our guests. We had guests attending from Australia, Norway and the US- no challenge slowed down Travel Concepts, they accommodated everyone, all helping us have the most magical week of our lives at the Now Larimar Resort.

After a nightmare experience with another travel agency while planning my destination wedding, I was referred to Travel Concepts by a friend whose wedding they had planned years ago. I should add, I had procrastinated on the planning and by the time I spoke with Travel Concepts I had only 5 months to plan! I was a little wary, as Travel Concepts was located in a different state so I could not meet face to face. However, the second I first spoke to Denise, I felt confident that my wedding was in good hands and that she had my best interests at heart. Our initial call went on for 40 minutes as she asked me all kinds of questions from how my now husband and I met, our favorite colors and foods to our families. She shared her background, her philosophy and her personal details as well. I was struck by the feeling that she genuinely cared about me, my husband, and the outcome of my wedding, and I felt like she and I were old friends! After that initial call she came up with a few recommended resorts based on what she knew that we wanted and I was again impressed by the care and thought she put into it. It was apparent that she had actual relationships with the people she works with at the resorts, and they respected and cared about her as well. After sending the options, she set up another call and we discussed in detail the pros and cons of each resort. When we (finally) chose one, she immediately reached out to them and provided me with costs and every detail I could possibly need. Throughout the process, Denise and her team went above and beyond at every turn, answering my questions within hours, working with everyone who was coming to the wedding and with the resort wedding planner and cheerfully answering my calls. I was never made to feel that I was bothering them or asking too many questions, or that I was being "upsold". The level of professionalism and kindness displayed- even with what had to be a headache of 40 attendees other than myself calling and asking questions- was truly impressive to me. When it was time for others to book their trips, Denise told me "If anyone asks you a travel question, send them to me. That is not your job, it's mine! Your job is to be the bride and mine is to manage the travel" I felt such a sense of relief because I truly trusted her and knew she had everything under control. As you have probably guessed, my destination wedding went off without a hitch! Because of Travel Concepts, my husband I were picked up at the airport in an SUV, had photos taken there and champagne on our private trip to the resort. We felt like celebrities! When we arrived, we found that we had an upgraded room and a lot of additional amenities that made us feel truly special. The resort and everyone we worked with there were stellar. The icing on the cake the day of the wedding was that Denise surprised us and showed up! It was wonderful to get to share our wedding experience with the person who had helped us make it so perfect. Travel Concepts made our honeymoon to Kauai the most memorable and hassle free experience that we could have hoped for. We literally didn’t have to worry about a thing. From booking the flights to dinner reservations, they did it all. As we were there we called her one morning to ask where a good spot would be for breakfast and she had an answer, navigated us there, and that place ended up being our “go to” breakfast location. When my then fiancé and I decided to do a destination wedding we reached out to several travel agents. To our surprise we couldn't get answers to our questions, or even a returned phone call or email. We finally decided to contact someone locally and when we received immediate responses from Denise we knew we found the right person! She coordinated 25 people for our international, destination wedding. We had people coming and going on different dates, from different states, and even one person from Japan, without a hitch! She worked out a great deal with the resort which allowed a few of our guests to upgrade their package. The all inclusive, family friendly, resort Dreams Palm Beach, Punta Cana, Dominican Republic was a dream come true for all of us. It took a little longer to check in than expected, about an hour and a half, but they had drinks and hor dourves ready for us. Our rooms were beautiful, clean, cool, comfortable, and we never heard our neighbors. A butler service came over every evening while we were at dinner to deliver fresh fruit, little bottles of alcohol, candy bars, little bags of chips, and other snacks. There were several pools that were all spectacular. Especially the one with the swim up bar! Since it's a family friendly resort, there were a few areas that didn't allow children, which was nice to get away to every now and then for some adult time. They also had childcare, and planned fun activities for the kiddos. When the sun went down they had live music and dancing outside. The onsite night club was a lot of fun as well. I wish our entire group could go back every year, we made such wonderful memories! The day of the wedding couldn't have gone any smoother. With the wedding package with the resort you simply choose from a menu of options and they make it all come together. I literally went to the salon and got my hair and makeup done, put my dress on and then went to get married! Not a detail was missed, and everything was in its place. Part of our package included videography and photography. The videographer and photographer truly captured the essence of our love for each other. Don't pass on this option, I highly recommend including this in your package, it's worth it! Our experience with Denise Canon, and Dreams Palm Beach was so perfect I honestly don't know why anyone would get married anywhere else!

We found Denise and her team at a bridal show and it was a blessing. She helped us narrow down our destination for our honeymoon to Moorea Tahiti. Her knowledge and passion blew me away. She listened to what we wanted and got us exactly that and more. We spent a week in an over the water bungalow and it was heaven. Denise took over planning the honeymoon which helped out so much! It was hassle free. We had a couple questions come up while we were out of the country, Denise was very quick at getting back to us. This was our first time traveling outside of the U.S. and it went very smooth. They had everything laid out on paper for us. I would highly recommend Travel Concepts and we will be using them again. My husband and I wanted to honeymoon in London, and didn't even know where to start. We met with Denise initially and she blew us away with her knowledge and expertise! The process was so easy, she booked our flights, hotels, tours, and even tickets to my favorite show, with dinner included. My Husband and I can't say enough about the experience of booking our Wedding through travel concepts. The advice they gave and the hands on approach they took to helping us plan our dream wedding was amazing. Denise and her team at Travel Concepts made our destination wedding planning go as smoothly as possible. It was nerve racking in the beginning thinking about getting married in another country and getting our guests to follow, but by the third time we spoke I was at ease and everything went smoothly. Denise first helped us to pick a location and resort to host our celebration. She is very knowledgable about the differences in the resorts and listened to what we wanted. She gave us quotes for the top 3 resorts that would fit our needs but offered to gather more. Once we decided on a location and distributed the information to the guests it was straight forward from there. They found the forms and process of booking easy. It was so nice to have someone the could call if they had a question about anything regarding their trip. When we first started looking into a destination wedding we thought, there is no way, the cost will be too high and guests will not want to travel. That was not the case! We ended up having 43 people attend our wedding in Cancun! With all of the resorts promotions our ceremony, hors d'oeuvres and cocktail hour were included! We stayed 7 nights and only had to pay for roughly 2 of them plus airfare. We did not have any complaints from the guests, excepting wishing they would have stayed longer. We could not have made a better decision then using Travel Concepts to help us with our wedding! I would refer them to anyone contemplating this type of wedding. And you do not have to live in Kansas City to use them as your travel agent. We did all of our planning from New Mexico.
