al party, it was just myself, my mom, and my MIL who needed our makeup done on the day of the wedding. I did not anticipate how difficult it would be to find makeup artists in the Philadelphia area who would do makeup for a small group of women, but luckily my wedding planner put me in touch with Tribe Beauty who were AMAZING from start to finish. When I showed up at the Chadds Ford location for my makeup trial, I fell in love with the bright, airy aesthetic of the salon. I connected with Lauren instantly, and chatting with her during the makeup trial was like catching up with a friend. I love that Tribe does a more natural and glowy makeup look – you will not be seeing any dark, smoky eyes or harsh contour here. Also, they only use individual false eyelashes, which look so much more natural and pretty than strip lashes. I felt very glam and gorgeous on my wedding day, but still like myself. Lauren is such a lovely person and a calming presence, and having her there on the morning of my wedding to make me look and feel beautiful was exactly what I needed! I would definitely recommend Lauren and Tribe for any makeup needs, and I am hoping to book a facial at Husk salon in the near future.

I am so glad that I ended up switching to Tribe and that they actually had our wedding date available. Taylor, the coordinator is also amazing - she answered all my questions quickly and I emailed her a lot. Courtney, Emily, and Lauren were so amazing - they were sweet, personable, and obviously talented. My girls, my mom, and I felt beautiful and more importantly, felt like ourselves, just enhanced :). The entire vibe from all 3 of them was just positive - they obviously love what they do and you could most certainly tell. My bridal party was just thinking of events that they would need hair and makeup done after that! HA! I can't wait to visit their salon when I'm back in town - I would love to be a long term client. Highly recommend booking them if you want to feel like your most beautiful self on your wedding day! I would give 10 stars if I could.

. When I was looking at different makeup artists my main goal was to still look like me day of. I didnt want so much makeup caked on that I felt like a different person but I still wanted it to feel special and appropriate. This was accomplished more than I could have hoped. My makeup was glamorous and natural all at the same time, which is exactly what I wanted! My makeup held all day even in the August heat and humidity. I am clueless when it comes to hair so it was important to me to find a stylist who could help me achieve a look I loved even though I had no idea how to get there. After a few easy conversations and going through pictures together we settled on a look and it went flawlessly. My hair held all day even through sweaty dancing (which is really just me jumping up and down) and looked just as great at the end of the night as it did at the beginning. The women at Tribe are kind, super professional and really excel at what they do. I cannot say enough about the excellence of their service!

again for my wedding on 8/12/17. She traveled to my venue, arrived early to set-up and did an amazing job on everybody! Amanda did my hair, 4 bridesmaids, MOG, and MOB. I was a little worried about the timeline (and expressed this to her before the wedding, and she reassured me that she has always finished on time), but she finished early and even had time to do touch-ups on everyone and work in flower crowns for all of my bridesmaids! She stayed a little longer to do this, which was super nice of her. I highly recommend Amanda to any bride looking for a hair stylist. we wanted done and they nailed it!!! They touched us up throughout the day before leaving and fixed anything that came loose or that we may not have liked. They kept us in high spirits and were so kind. They do great braided updos and intricate styles. Definitely book Tribe if you want someone with experience and someone who is able to do anything you could want whether its classic, simple, or intricate!!
