Trickle Creek Events

I recently had my wedding at Trickle Creek on 10.28.23. The venue itself was beautiful. It has that country feel with a hit of glam to it. We had an amazing wedding. The owners were super sweet every time I had to reach out to them for anything. There are a couple of things I wish the venue would have done especially for the price you are paying is that they set up the tables and chairs for the reception. I think this would help a lot of brides out especially if you dont have a lot of muscle with you to set those up and think it will help with time since you are setting everything up the morning of. Also I wish the landscaping where the chairs would go during the ceremony was kept up a little bit so when it rains the day before or morning of and it wouldn’t be as muddy for your guests and wouldn’t track mud down the isle as much. But other than that my day was perfect!

Amazing venue! The sweetest people! Loved having our wedding there! It felt like being at home!

I fell in love with this venue the moment I saw the tree! When we toured the venue with Ronda we knew this was where we’d be getting married. It meant a lot to us that we had similar faiths and she was such a sweet person. Trickle Creek is a peaceful and beautiful quiet property and our guests kept commenting on every detail inside and out all night long. The grooms suite and bridal suite were perfect and very accommodating. There’s plenty of space for everyone to be comfortable and beautiful areas for photography. I really appreciated how quickly Ronda responded to our questions and her staff were extremely friendly and helpful as well. Everything was super clean and prepared for us and I will definitely recommend this venue to anyone looking to get married. They also gave us a beautiful set of custom coasters and that was totally unexpected and a lovely surprise. Thank you for letting us celebrate our special day here!

Trickle Creek was the most perfect venue for my husband and I’s wedding! The gorgeous oak tree brought our ceremony together in the most amazing way. The reception area is huge for large weddings, an amazing bridal suite and a great outdoor bar for cocktail hour. Ronda, the owner was amazing she answered all of my questions in a timely manner and made sure our wedding day was set up for success!

I had a beautiful wedding here, but there are pros and cons. I had my wedding here this summer. The venue is beautiful on its own without any special decorations. That was a huge plus because it helped save on florals. The big tree is gorgeous which make photos stand out, and they keep up with the yard work beautifully. The general area around the venue is just really serene and peaceful. I’m not from the South, so I was looking for something that was a mix of white barn/modern. This happened to be the perfect mix. The venue owner is really nice and helpful to which was a plus. After and during the wedding, I got tons of compliments from my guests about how pretty the venue itself was. The only cons were that if you do hold your wedding here, you HAVE to go through their vendor list. I found this frustrating (and unusual, maybe it’s a southern thing?) because when I discovered more affordable vendors, or vendors that were more “my style”, I wasn’t able to use them. I had to go with the options they list on the vendor list. And a lot of what was on their list just wasn’t my style, or were just too pricey for my budget. The other con is that the venue is kind of in the middle of nowehere, which makes it hard for guests to get to/from the location if they don’t have their own cars. Which a lot of my guests didn’t, so they would’ve had to resort to Uber. Which would’ve been fine, but out there, Uber is very hard to come by. So, I had to provide transportation. Which is an additional cost of course. That you have to pick from their vendor list. Which I think they had maybe 2-4 different transportation vendors listed, tops. So if those 2-4 are too expensive for one’s liking, you’re kind of out of luck. I would up just having to eat the cost and get transportation for my guests.

We had the best wedding here! Ronda and Darryl who own and run this venue are some of the most down-to-earth people and help us communicate well. They helped us find our DJ, caterer, bartender, and security. They will make your day go great!

We absolutely loved having our wedding at Trickle Creek Ranch. It’s so beautiful and still can’t get over the tree we got married under. We weren’t fans of the chairs included with renting the venue, so we just rented from an outside company. It’s such a beautiful space that can fit anyone’s style! The venue manager was so helpful and responsive. We never had to wait long to get our questions answered.

After searching for the perfect venue to fit our budget between Florida and Texas we came across Trickle Creek and it could not have been any more perfect. The huge old oak tree did it for us. The venue is beautiful, clean and easy to work with. We cannot recommend Trickle Creek enough.

Trickle Creek is so beautiful! Our wedding was absolutely stunning and perfect and just so....us. Our guests couldn't stop talking about it and many told us it was by far the most beautiful wedding they'd ever been to. Ronda is amazing and made the whole experience even better!

Loved my wedding that had on 11/18/22 such a beautiful venue! Had so many compliments saying it was one of the nicest venues many of my guests have been to. The bridal and groom suite was definitely one of the nicer ones out of many venues that I saw! I can’t wait to get my pictures!

What an amazing experience this was. Trickle Creek was our first place to visit during our search for my daughters wedding. We looked at a few more and they simply did not compare. The outdoor space with the gorgeous tree as a backdrop was breathtaking. The grounds were well maintained which offered beautiful view in every direction you looked. Even the outdoor bar/reception area was a site to see. The venue itself gives off a rustic yet sophisticated vibe. This offers so many options on decor, no matter your design style. The bar inside the venue was cleverly tucked in a corner, to allow for more space on the floor, and is beautifully constructed so it blends into the rustic feel nicely. If you’re having your event catered, the space in which the caterers setup is in a nice size “cubby” area, so as not to impede on the table and dance space. And the bridal suite…let’s talk about this! So mindfully designed to allow the bridal party enough room to mingle, relax, eat, shower and yes, get ready for the big day. This space was setup in such a way that you felt you were at home. Comfortable, beautiful and calming space for the potentially anxious bride. The groom and groomsman did not suffer either! They are provided a place to hang, eat, game, watch tv…all the things a gentleman would do at home to relax. And yes, they too had plenty of space to get ready for this very special day. I can’t say enough about Trickle Creek. The venue owner / coordinator were so friendly, welcoming and never once made me feel foolish with some of my foolish questions. Beautiful space and wonderful people to help plan this amazing event.

We chose this venue for the gorgeous tree and wholesome owners. The owners are kind, welcoming, and readily available to answer questions. Not to mention our wedding day was perfect under the gorgeous live oak. We had SO compliments on our venue and how gorgeous the day was.

The venue is absolutely gorgeous and Ronda was easy to get in contact with if we had any questions. She even let us stay after our rehearsal dinner to set up all the decor for the wedding which took a load of stress off. The only “negative” I had was only having 3 options we could choose for bar staff. They were all very much out of my price range but ultimately we made it work and it turned out amazingly.

I LOVE this venue and the owners. We got married on 7/11/22! They were so incredibly kind, helped me get everything set up, and just went above and beyond to make my family feel welcome. I would get married here a million times over. The venue was soooo beautiful!

Trickle Creek has it all!!! Beautiful large trees, a gorgeous venue, all the perfect spots to get your pictures taken, the most helpful owners, a full list of vendors to choose from. The venue is beautiful and has so many little details added everywhere. The communication and response were quick and very helpful. I highly recommend Trickle Creek Events!!!!

Trickle Creek made my wedding vision come true! It is first of all, a gorgeous venue, and secondly they offer an all inclusive package. We opted for the package, and it included catering, floral, DJ, cake, literally everything except for attire and photographer. Even included a wedding planner! They use Something Blue Weddings as the planner, her name is HeidiBeth, and she is the most incredible person! She was on top of EVERYTHING! It made the whole wedding planning process a breeze. We still were able to do catering tastings and cake tasting, plus the floral arrangements were pulled from my Pinterest ideas and it was exactly as I pictured! The whole day went of without a single hitch, it was seriously the best day of my life, I could not be happier with our choice of venue and that we chose to go with their package plan. It was a dream, every single idea I had and vision I planned was fulfilled magnificently. I cannot recommend Trickle Creek and Something Blue Weddings enough!!!!!

Trickle Creek was the most gorgeous venue!!! Our photos looked AMAZING with all of the green and white. We had so many compliments on the venue. They made sure everything went smoothly and everything got taken care of at the end of the night. I could not reccommend them enough, Ronda and Darrell were fantastic!!

We couldn't have found a better venue for our special day! This was our first venue we looked at and knew this was definitely the one for us. You will not have to go look anywhere else! Ronda was the best, she was extremely helpful and so quick to respond to any questions we had leading up to the wedding. Everything was perfect! The bridal and groom suites were amazing and spacious for our bridal party to get ready. Our guests were surprised at how secluded, yet easy this gem was to find. Seriously, you don't need to look at any other venues!

They were amazing and SO accommodating! From the moment we signed with them they helped answer our questions and even let us come early to set things up and leave things at the venue. The venue also comes with so much decor that we didn’t need to buy everything. I would 100% recommend Trickle Creek to anybody. The actual venue was beautiful and the owners were wonderful!

We had such an amazing experience with Trickle Creek from the first day we met, all the way until wedding day! Ronda was always so helpful and responded fast whenever I had a question and helped ease my wedding stress. The venue is absolutely gorgeous and we were able to have an outdoor dance floor which we loved. We are so happy we went with Trickle Creek!

When I first saw this location online, I knew I had to check this place out. The oak tree is majestic and is placed on a beautiful piece of property away from the busy city. The landscaping and facilities are well kept and are not vintage. This was the only place I saw and knew in person, this was the place I was going to marry my best friend. The staff and Ronda are great! The extra props, extra decor, items, and tables/chairs were such a nice bonus with this place. I loved how roomy the bridal suite was and the massage chair was GREAT! Under the tree, the space is beautiful for the ceremony! I would highly recommend this place! We LOVED every minute of it. Ronda was great to work with and was quick to respond via text and email. TOTALLY RECOMMEND!

BEAUTIFUL building and most importantly the tree is to die for. The landscaping is beautiful and Ronda and her husband are very responsive and attentive to your wants/needs.

Love love love this venue! Truly beautiful and creates such a cozy, intimate feel while still being open and welcoming to all of your guests! The bridal suite could be a separate home which is exactly what you need when you are there all day. The owners are just as amazing- they answered ALL of my questions and were so accommodating. This venue is gorgeous!! It is 10 min from most everything in Weatherford. It’s close to the highway and easy to find, yet provides you with ultimate privacy! The big oak tree provides a stunning backdrop for your ceremony and the reception space is beautiful.. The owners are wonderful, easy to work with, and respond quickly to questions! We are so happy we chose Trickle Creek for our big day!

Trickle Creek Events was our dream wedding venue!! We booked them without touring 3 months before our wedding date, and they helped us so much in such a short period of time! Ronda and Darrell were professional, understanding, organized, and helped with everything we needed during the planning and on the day of. The venue is breath taking and we couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful place to spend our special day.

I can’t explain how perfect Trickle Creek was for our wedding! The big shady oak tree captured our hearts when we first toured and the rest of it is just gorgeous! Ronda and Shelly are so friendly and helpful. We went up a few times before the wedding to take measurements and ask questions. The week before I texted Ronda last minute questions and she answered very quickly. It rained on my wedding day until 3:00 and the ceremony was at 4:00 outside. With the help of everybody, we were able to still have the perfect ceremony outside. If you’re debating where to get married, go check out Trickle Creek. Trust me, it’s worth it!

I struggle to find the words to explain how perfectly wonderful Trickle Creek Events is. Trickle Creek is truly a DREAM COME TRUE venue -- they nailed every detail and have EVERYTHING you need for your wedding day (large, cute bridal suite, adorable grooms cabin just outside the venue, large beautiful reception area) and the most gorgeous views for the ceremony by the large, old oak tree (that doesn't even need any extra decor). When you pull up to the venue, it looks like "Pinterest in real life!" Ronda & Darrell really have done a phenomenal job thinking of everything I didn't even know we would need. While we fell in love with the property, Ronda & Darrell are really what sold us; they are two humble, kind, and thoughtful owners. They do not nickel & dime couples, they are responsive, and they are flexible. I was able to use the venue for my bridal shoot for no additional cost. Our guests "oooh" and "wowed" at the venue/property and amenities ALL.DAY.LONG! We could not feel more blessed to have found Trickle Creek and Ronda & Darrell for our big day!

Trickle Creek was an amazing venue and we couldn’t imagine our wedding being anywhere else! Every part of the venue is breathtaking and we got compliments all evening on the venue along with questions on how we found it. We instantly fell in love with this venue! It's so beautiful and the perfect blend of rustic vintage elegance. An added benefit is the great value for what you get compared to other wedding venues. Ronda is so nice and has been so accommodating from the very beginning throughout the pandemic. This is how a business should run. Loved planning my wedding with this venue. Being an out of state bride I was only able to see my venue once (when we toured and booked) and one more time a month before the wedding. This was challenging but working with Ronda (the venue owner) was so pleasant. She kept me up to date on any new policy’s, answered all of my questions in a timely manner. Not to mention the venue itself was picture perfect day of! Well taken care of, clean, and stunningly beautiful. So happy we were able to get married at Trickle Creek.

The venue was great, they even got us the cutest personalized coasters as a gift. They were always available for questions leading up to the wedding.

This venue was perfect for our big day! It was gorgeous and spacious. Not only do they have an indoor and outdoor ceremony spot but they have multiple hang out areas so your guests can feel comfortable and not feel cramped. Ronda was amazing to contact with and she made it her job that we could visit and tour as many times as we wanted and always answered any questions in a fast manor. This venue also was a great price and I’d highly recommend this place to anyone getting married or throwing an event!

This venue is breathtakingly gorgeous! From the moment we saw the tree and barn, we knew we had to be married here! We found Trickle just a few months after they opened and from the moment we did our tour, we knew this was the venue for us and not once did that change! Ronda & Darrell were great! They explain everything that is & isn’t included- help with recommending vendors & don’t charge extra for things that are already on the property (table/chairs/etc). Hi, my review is a little late. Nevertheless, we were so fortunate to have had our wedding at Trickle Creek, in the middle of Covid-19 being a bride is super stressful and I couldn’t have done it all without Ronda. Her wisdom in one of her emails after having lost her father, helped me to realize that I did not have to wait and to reschedule my wedding until next year to commit my life to my now-husband. And that love isn't canceled... I will forever be grateful for her kind words💗 Tucked and hidden away in a fantastic marvelous location. I can’t begin to explain how amazing the owners are. Ronda and Mr. Odom welcomed us and toured us with absolutely everything and more! The venue is a beautiful place, with big trees, the barn seats at the front with such beautiful rolling hills. There is no worry about anything, there’s plenty of parking, lots of space inside and outside of the property, a quaint big bridal suite/cottage and the groom's separate quarters is away from the bridal suite. On the day of our wedding, Charlotte went above and beyond to help us with anything we needed. she was so willing to answer our questions and give her advice. The Odom’s work hard to make sure the venue is in excellent shape and it shows! I loved getting to have my reception there and would recommend Trickle Creek to anyone and everyone! Everything about this venue was perfect! I received so many compliments the day of my wedding of how beautiful everything looked especially the big tree! The owners were absolutely the best always available and quick to respond to any questions or concerns I had. I highly recommend this venue!🙂

This venue is amazing! And the owners are so sweet and accommodating! I couldn’t imagine my venue being any more perfect! We were overjoyed with our wedding at Trickle Creek! The venue was so gorgeous it spoke for itself. This venue exceeds all expectations! The venue is beautiful and has plenty of room to accompany a large wedding party (16 in immediate wedding party and extras) and everything for our special day was PERFECT! To top off the perfect venue, Ronda and Darrell are truly the kindest people. They genuinely want you to have the best day when you choose their venue. They are accommodating and generous; we picked this venue in part because of the people they are. If you get the chance to meet them, you will feel the same way!

My husband and I love Trickle Creek, and are so happy we chose this venue for our special day! From our first visit to the day of the wedding, the beauty of Trickle Creek continued to amaze us. Such a beautiful venue! Ronda and Darrell helped our big day go off without a hitch! Ronda was able to help me through planning a wedding during COVID and updated me as much as she could about the ever changing status. I would recommend to anyone and everyone. My only complaint was some communication was not flawless, but that can happen any & everywhere. You won't regret your decision to host your wedding at Trickle Creek!

You kept us updated as things changed due to Covid and you were so generous to let us come to the venue multiple times to get an idea on how Avery wanted things laid out. You are so sweet and kind. You made one of the biggest aspects of Avery & Evan’s wedding stress free!

Trickle Creek Ranch and Events was an excellent choice for my daughter’s wedding. The owners were always quick with the responses when we had questions and provided excellent customer service during the entire wedding planning phase. They allowed us to use our own vendors which gave us the freedom to customize the wedding to our budget and style. On the day of the wedding the excellent customer service didn’t end! When we had a question, they were on site to solve our technology problems and stayed on site until everything was up and running!

I can’t thank Trickle Creek enough for making my day so special. I was planning a wedding during a pandemic & they made it as easy as possible and were always easy to contact with questions. If you are considering, look no further & book!! 😍 P.S. My bridal party & guest were so thankful for all the shade under the Oak tree 😋

The owners were super nice and easy to talk to. They responded with reasonable time to any questions I had. They had multiple open houses with vendors to help you pick caterers, photo booths and anything else you can think of. Would 100% recommend using this venue!!!

The owners are incredibly nice and will take the time to really talk to you. They allow you to make as many trips to see the venue as you like given there isn’t a current event. They were so accommodating, the day of the wedding one of our guests forgot a picture for the memory table and they allowed us to use their computer to print the picture off and even let us use one of THIER picture frames for it. The venue is absolutely beautiful and so warming, perfect for a small wedding to feel right in your own backyard and so peaceful and quiet, although being in the country we did have gun shots go off from down the road as I, the bride started to walk down the aisle but gave for a good laugh because, ‘Texas!’. I think the best part was leftover items from previous weddings that were no longer wanted, they keep and lend out at no charge, so be sure to check out what they have that could be useful during your big day to save money!

Trickle Creek Events is an amazing venue. My daughter chose this venue for her wedding. It is beautiful inside and out. Perfect location for the ceremony and reception. The Odom’s (owners) were wonderful to work with. They were always available to answer any questions leading up to the wedding and the were on site during the actual event. I highly recommend Trickle Creek for any special event!

ickle Creek is truly AMAZING! There are no words to describe this venue! Every person I talked to at the wedding went on and on about how gorgeous the setting was. We booked the venue back in January before it was even finished. I fell in love with it the minute I drove in the gate and then after meeting the owners (Rhonda and Darrell Odom), there was no doubt in my mind that these were the people we wanted to work with over the next 11 months. They were so accommodating when I needed to visit the venue with vendors. They gave me excellent referrals! An added bonus with this venue is all the extras that come with it. They have beautiful farm tables for the head table and food. They have several whiskey barrels. I had originally rented some and then found out I could use theirs for free. That is something not many venues offer. Their outside patio area is gorgeous and a great place for guests to gather before the wedding or during pictures. We served hot cider under the silo and it was a huge hit. The facility is clean and well managed. Darrell and Rhonda go above and beyond for the bride and groom. We had one major mishap......the ring bearer was to carry a balloon and the person who was getting it done couldn’t find a place open to do it (in their defense they weren’t from here). We had like 30 minutes before the start of the ceremony. Darrell jumped in his vehicle and drove all the way to town, had the balloons blown up and rushed back with 1 minute to spare. His wife, Rhonda was standing at the door waiting to grab the balloons and hand them off to the ring bearer. It all went off unnoticed because they went above and beyond!! If you need a venue.....this is the one you want. I can’t think of one negative about Trickle Creek except I wish I had thought of building a venue this spectacular! My advice is to see it, meet these wonderful people then BOOK ASAP because as word continues to get out, you will have to get married on a weekday or wait 2 years 😂. Trickle Creek is truly a hidden gem in DFW! The ceremony backdrop is absolutely stunning with the live oak tree. We could not have been more pleased working with Ronda and Darrell to host our wedding ceremony and reception here. So much was offered to us, from tables and chairs to tons of decor pieces, the options were limitless. Absolutely a must book!

5 star wedding & reception venue for sure! The owners of the venue are some of the sweetest & best humans you will ever meet in your life. They will do anything & everything within their power to help make your day a fairy tale! Trickle Creek is absolutely beautiful from the huge oak tree for the ceremony to the fabulous chandeliers inside the reception area. This really in an all-inclusive site as well. From tables, to chairs (for both the ceremony & reception), a prep kitchen equipped with plenty of refrigerator storage & a warmer, a bar area both indoors & outdoor suitable for a keg or single serve beverages, huge ice machine, indoor & outdoor sound system, corn hole for your guests to play in the yard, a bridal suite that has all the wonderful amenities that you would find in a small apartment, and a groom’s cabin with plenty of games to keep the guys entertained. Both the bridal suite & grooms cabin also have showers, which definitely came in handy after a day of decorating & setting up. They really have thought of everything you will need for the wedding of your dreams and Ronda & Daryl are so willing & excited to help make your dream a reality!

My fiancé and I booked this venue after touring no less than 15 venues within the DFW metroplex and it was easily one of the best decisions we made during our wedding planning process. We picked this venue for a multitude of reasons but here are a top few. -This brand new venue is stunning in every way. From the picturesque outdoor ceremony location’s 250 year old live oak trees that perfectly frame you and your betrothed as you exchange I Do’s to the elegantly appointed Vintage farmhouse indoor reception space complete with all the modern touches including gorgeous dimable chandelier lighting, 250 person capacity, Prep Kitchen including ice maker, proofer, triple bowl stainless sink, refrigerator & large stainless steel prep surface, full bar set up, and more, the facility is a stunning canvas for any bride to bring her vision to life. The bridal suite provides a perfect space for the bride and her girls to spend the morning prepping for the big day. There is ample parking, a cohesive layout for a seamless flow of events, and is perfectly situated just outside of the DFW metroplex for a short commute for local guest and potential for no travel fee for vendors within the metroplex. - Ronda is the best of the best. She’s more than just a venue owner who shows up wedding day, she not only treats each bride who tours her property with genuine kindness and a willingness to provide guidance and assistance in utilizing her facility to its fullest capacity (free rentals and utilization of all space), but she ensures her property is always ready to serve couples and their guest on wedding day. -Budget. Your wedding venue is typically the largest percentage of your wedding budget. Trickle Creek Events pricing structure and contract are simple, straight, and to the point. No hidden fees, very appropriately priced, and we felt we got everything we were looking for in a venue without paying for additional “add on”s some venues tack on (hours or full day vs half day, space, rentals, holiday date fees, etc.) Overall, Trickle Creek exceeded my husband and I’s expectations. Our family, friends, guests, and vendors raved about their experience and our wedding photos will truly stand the test of time, giving Trickle Creek a special place in our hearts. We cannot thank Ronda and her team enough. A few things to note: The prep kitchen is small and truly only provides enough space to hold pre-prepared food. The location of the kitchen is opposite of the entrance and while there is a back door, if the Ceremony is ongoing they must make their way through your reception space or if the reception has started, they are in view of the guest seated at their tables due to windows. Just something to note. The room is very spacious but be sure to make the most use of this space by staying conscientious of your layout. Depending on how you place your rounds, sweetheart/head table, cake table, DJ table, dance floor, etc. It can get tight. We had just under 150 guest and could not have added any more rounds without compromising our dance floor, and the location of our buffet tables resulted in a slight traffic jam due to the bar being behind the Buffett. It was tight but still manageable as my husband and I (in my ballgown styled dress) were still able to make our way around every guest table to greet and thank them for attending.
