I cannot say enough about how great Tricky Dick is. We have been following the band for years and have seen them countless of times at different venues. Their performance for the wedding was a whole new level of excellence. Tony did such a great job MCing and accommodated a special/custom Mother Son dance. The band added a light show and went above and beyond with the preparation and attention to detail. The band has been all of the talk from family & friends and truly made the night unforgettable. Tricky Dick has a great variety of songs and genres, and the band is extremely accommodating with customizing your playlist. If you are considering between a DJ and a live band, a live band makes such a huge difference. And Tricky Dick is 100% the way to go!

These guys are the best wedding band!! Tony was so easy to work with & he made our night go so smoothly. We didn’t have a wedding planner so Tony took care of announcing when the dances, dinner, speeches, photos & everything else was occurring. The band had everyone out on the dance floor the entire night & everyone was raving about the music afterwards! Cannot recommend these guys enough!!! 1000/10!

Tricky Dick & The Coverups were the highlight of our wedding! Leading up to the wedding Tony met with us to discuss songs and helped with suggestions for timing. They were all very professional. Tony MC’d everything too and really got the crowd’s attention when needed. They provided cocktail hour and dinner music via mp3. When they started to perform EVERYONE was on the dance floor!! Our guests had such a great time dancing all night and watching their show. They also made it personalized to us in subtle ways. Our guests keep talking about how great they are. They started off with a lot of classics songs at the beginning and worked in some new hits toward the end of the night. They provided glow sticks and sunglasses which were a huge hit with our guests. I would 100% recommend hiring them for your wedding!

We got married a week ago and Tricky Dick was amazing! They kept the party going all night and interacted with our guests to keep it fun and entertaining. They all are awesome and an amazing band. We would highly recommend using Tricky Dick!

We hired Tricky Dick for our wedding, and it was the best decision we made for our reception! We cannot express how unbelievable our wedding was. We are so thankful for the countless hours they put into their craft. We have heard MANY times since our wedding from our guests that out wedding was the best wedding they have ever been to and Tricky Dick is the best wedding band they’ve seen. We truly appreciate everything TD did for us- coordinated the entire reception music, played a perfect dinner set, MC’d the entire night and put on the BEST dance party ever. If you are thinking about booking Tricky Dick, DO IT. It’s well worth every penny and will make your big day a wedding people will talk about forever. Our wedding wouldn’t be the same without Tricky Dick!

We did not leave the dance floor the entire evening! The music was AMAZING and our guests kept commenting on what a great band we had selected! Not to mention, Tony was awesome to work with throughout the entire process—very responsive and professional. Highly, highly recommend this band!

AMAZING is all I can say about Tricky Dick! If you are looking for a band for your wedding or any event do not hesitate to book them! They were actually the first vendor I booked for my wedding! They were so easy to work with and very accommodating to certain requests and last minute changes we had. They truly made our wedding reception and kept our guests, young and old, dancing all night. Our guests kept telling us how amazing they were and how they were so surprised they played as long as they did! They are worth every single penny and we are beyond pleased with how amazing our reception was because of them!

If you're even hesitating slightly to book Tricky Dick's, don't! They MADE my wedding. Months after, and I'm still having people tell me that they couldn't believe how good they were. Family members who I have never seen dancing at a wedding or event were out there on the dance floor. They kept all of my guests entertained. In emailing back and forth, Tony (band leader) had complete professionalism. He responded to my emails quickly. He even went with the flow as I changed some of my reception order the day of. They emcee the whole night. I had guests thinking they were part of the venue as they integrated themselves so smoothly. I seriously could go on and on about how happy I am with booking this band. Never will regret it for a second. They gave me the wedding of my dreams!

What is not to love about this band??? But, seriously! Everyone at our wedding has said how amazing our band was! They played two 90-minute sets almost back to back and made sure that our guests were having the time of their lives. We honestly did not leave the dance floor almost the entire reception. The band also took the time to learn a song for us and ended our reception with that song in the most amazing way! Tony and the rest of Tricky Dick took so much time into planning the songs we had picked out and making them work in a way that the energy never left the dance floor! 10/10, 100 gold stars, and everything else you can think of to describe how amazing this band was! They traveled to Youngstown from Cleveland for us too! Super professional and kept us on schedule the whole night!! They did such an amazing job, and our wedding would not have been the all night party it was without them!

We used Tricky Dick & the Cover-Ups for our wedding in September 2017 and we couldn't have been more pleased with them. Tony was great to work with prior to the wedding day, and he made sure that everything would be how we envisioned it. The band played hit after hit and our guests had an absolute blast dancing and singing along to every song. We had seen them perform at other weddings in the Cleveland area, and we just knew we had to have them at our wedding. Lucky for us, they agreed to travel all the way to Chicago and we are so happy they did. The entire band brought an energy to the room that helped make for a special night. Tony also did an excellent job at MC-ing the reception and making sure everything ran smoothly during all the speeches and introductions. To anyone looking for a band to play at their wedding, you can not find a more fun and exciting band than Tricky Dick & The Cover-Ups! We highly recommend them.

Band or DJ? When decding where Tricky Dick fits into the equation the question should be: Band, DJ, or Tricky Dick. They are that good! Tricky Dick is better than a lot of professional acts touring today. If they are open for your date, BOOK THEM! The lead guitar player was shredding not only riffs but Keith Richard like solos. I found myself standing in awe and saying “who are these guys” when a solo busted out. I was unsure of what opening song we wanted to play, I gave Tony minimal direction of “I would like a well known song, that’s multi generational and everyone can dance and/or sing. The opening song was perfect! Like why didn’t I think of that one. Everything we needed Tony to do throughout the ceremony, he remembered, how to pronounce names, times of events, announcements, etc. . . If an annoucement needed to be remade or announced without us telling him, he took intitiative. Tony really allowed us to enjoy our wedding, instead worry if timeline was on track. There was even some unscheduled curveballs thrown at him, and he rolled along, making it seem as if they the change ups were planned all along. All the guest were raving about how great the band was, “where did you find these guys”, etc. . . The only disappointment I had was when the night was over. . . Thanks again to Tony and all the members of Tricky Dick, for an unforgettable night. BOOK THIS BAND. BOOK THEM NOW.

My husband and I had been a fan of this band for a couple of years, so much so that we knew we HAD to have them play at our wedding! And oh boy, they did NOT disappoint. The energy and feeling they bring to their performances is amazing. I can honestly say that choosing to hire Tricky Dick was the best decision we made for the wedding. Thank you so much, Tony, Matt, Doug, and Jeff - you guys rock!

Tricky Dick was absolutely amazing to work with! Tony was so responsive throughout the entire process. On the day of our wedding they coordinating everything - up lighting which looked amazing, MC-ing the event perfectly, and the reception music. Their performance was the BEST! Everyone danced the night away and the dance floor was always packed. They played everything we wanted them to. We were so excited with how the whole night went and we've received many compliments that the band was the best people had seen! If you want an energetic wedding with hours of nonstop dancing these guys are the right choice!!!

Tricky D was THE BEST. We couldn't have wished for anything better from a wedding band. Throughout the entire process they were extremely professional and responsive. They provided recorded music and acted as MC for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner, and then live entertainment for the reception, and the entire night went extremely smoothly and without any issues. The live performance was the highlight of the entire night and our guests, young and old, continue to rave about them - high energy all night, great mix of oldies and current music of all genres, all of which kept everyone on the dance floor all night long. They were extremely easy to work with and really understood us and the kind of party we were looking to have! We had a difficult time finding a band in Pittsburgh that really "fit" our personality and tastes, so we were thrilled to find them in Ohio and were so happy that they were willing to travel to Pittsburgh for our wedding. HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommended, you will not be disappointed!

Tricky D was amazing! Our dance floor was packed the entire night with young and old! They play such a wide range of music and even learned a song for our father daughter dance. They were super accommodating and did a great job DJ'ing as well. Everyone had so much fun! They are so energetic, it's contagious!
