My name is John Kerfoot and I have been been filming Michigan couples for over 20 years. I have earned a Bachelors and Masters Degree in Film and film & video courses at the college level. I will be working on your video every step of the way - your first message, the day-of shooting, and the careful editing of your film is all handled by me. I will be unobtrusive on your day, never in the way of you, your guests or your vendors. You will hardly even know I was there. In the end, you will have a moving video and lasting heirloom you can share with loved ones for years to come.

r us to choose from. No hidden fees and no extra this and extra that like we see nowadays in the wedding industry. It’s so hard to find a vendor nowadays who is just “real” and upfront with everything.
After booking with him, which was such a seamless process, everything moving forward was just as simple and straightforward. I asked for a questionnaire from him during the wedding planning process to better understand how our video would turn out to be. (Song selections, shooting styles, etc). This was super helpful since we were particular about having a more cinematic style but also some romantic slower paced scenes. Needless to say he was confident in saying that he could provide this shooting style for us. I loved how flexible he was able to be with this.
WEDDING DAY!!!!! John was so great. He was always in the right places at all the right times. He never got in the way of anybody and worked extremely well alongside our photographer. To be honest, there’s nothing more to say side from the fact that you need to book him!!!!
He was able to deliver the wedding teaser video within a couple days of our wedding and we enjoyed watching this during our honeymoon. He absolutely nailed it with the choice and with the shooting style I cannot wait for the highlight video and for what’s more to come from him!!!

a necessary addition to our wedding budget, more of a nice-to-have. We explained our goals and reservations via e-mail exchange, which primarily occurred while John was traveling out of the country on vacation. His early responsiveness and detail provided in his communications absolutely made us want to learn more. We set up an introductory phone call (after vacation) and appreciated John's enthusiasm, candor and efforts to honestly answer our questions. John was also patient while we continued our decision-making process, roughly ~1 month in length. (Candidly, the bride was gung-ho on video and it took some serious convincing for the groom to be on board, too!).
We ultimately booked with John and were so impressed by the friendliness and professionalism showed throughout our experience- WOW!! He provided timely updates leading up to the big day and was always willing to answer questions as they came up - communication = 5 stars!
Our video teaser arrived as promised per our contract and when we say he delivered....he absolutely delivered! Even the groom was "eating his words" after seeing the highlight video.
We've had so many compliments on the vendor team we put together, and John is at the top of that list! We cannot say enough how much we appreciate John and his craft. If you're looking for a consummate professional, John is your videographer - you won't regret it for a second! We are so excited to see our final video, and booking John for our special day will forever be one of our best wedding-planning decisions.

I had. I knew he was a good fit so we hired him. Communication was easy and quick with John. On the day of the Wedding, he showed up in a suit and was ready to go. He was extremely friendly and made myself and husband very comfortable. He was with us throughout the whole day from getting ready, to portraits he got video of EVERYTHING! He was so fun and I hope he had just as good of a time as we did. For a one man show the footage that he got was incredible I am so impressed. We got our teaser about 48 hours after our Wedding and it was Father's Day. I wasn't even expecting it given that and he made it happen. We are obsessed with our teaser. We have not gotten our full video yet, but I am confident it will be perfect. If you are looking to hire a videographer I would highly recommend John. You will not be disappointed.

it of logistic information that we gave him ahead of time, John was exactly where we needed him to be without any coordination from our end. While we (and our guests) barely even noticed he was there, he captured every moment perfectly. I loved being able to enjoy our special day without worrying whether our videographer would capture what we wanted. On your wedding day, you want someone you are comfortable with and trust, and John checked both of those boxes easily.
John provided us with a 60 second "teaser" of our wedding day within a day of our wedding and it was awesome to be able to watch that so quickly after our wedding, share with our friends/family, and to have as a reminder of our day that we can easily watch on our phones whenever we want.
John's skill in quality videography speaks for itself, but we were also incredibly impressed by and grateful for his responsiveness to our wishes. When he sent us our highlight and full length video, there were a few shots of myself (bride) that I didn't particularly like, and he quickly made the edits and re-uploaded the videos that same day. John truly cares that you love what he creates from your day and I really appreciated that about him.
One thing that I was happily surprised by was how much I loved the "reception dancing montage" he provided. I think it is great that he offers these shorter montage options that you can watch/share with family and friends. I did not anticipate that this dancing montage would be so meaningful to me but having a beautifully made video of your favorite people having fun on the dance floor at your wedding-- that is priceless!
Overall, you will not regret choosing Tri-Foot productions for your wedding videography and who doesn't want one less thing to worry about when planning their wedding?

very accommodating of my COVID-postponed wedding. We used the Family Package and, though not the cheapest option, was so worth it. I find the additional highlight videos are what I revisit the most, I can't imagine not having them! John does such a great job editing to reflect the tone of our wedding, and he delivered all finished videos in under two months!
