We couldn’t have asked for a better wedding venue! This place is truly a hidden gem. We loved that we could pick all our own vendors and design the space however we wanted. Scott, the owner, was absolutely fabulous. His flexibility and willingness to accommodate our needs made the planning process so much easier. Leading up to our wedding, Scott was a calming presence, helping to ease any anxieties we had about how things would unfold. Thanks to his support, everything went off without a hitch, and we were able to enjoy every moment of our special day. We highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a cool, flexible space that you can make your own!

We had a wonderful time with our wedding at Trigger. Scott was so helpful - from seeing and booking the space, to helping us with rentals, vendor recommendations, and finishing touches and details, it was amazing. Trigger is such a unique and fun space, and the total control over vendor choices for us made it an easy pick. If you're looking to get married in Chicago and have full control over your other vendors, this is it!

My experience with Trigger was one for the books. Scott handled my team and I as though he’s been hosting events since birth. He helped me navigate all of my barriers, even beyond what the space offers (which is already plenty) he provided a preferred vendor list and explained the benefits of every one; he didn’t just hand it over. My guests LOVED the space and it was the perfect place to bring my vision to life.

We wanted to make sure we were choosing the perfect spot for our wedding-within our budget and a venue that felt like us. Trigger was the third venue of eight that we visited, but we both knew right away that Trigger was the one. We wanted to stay open to possibility so we still toured the other five venues, but none of them left a mark quite like Trigger. We fell in love with all the repurposed touches that Trigger's owners added to the venue. Aside from the bridal party lounge downstairs with an awesome foosball table, it's all the same level which appealed to me as we had a few guests with disabilities that presented as mobility challenges. Our wedding was very DIY and we loved that Trigger had so much personality of its own and wouldn't require too much in terms of decor, but Trigger still left enough room for us to add our own touches so that it truly felt like our wedding. We were allowed to hang photos of our relationship timeline in the rear of Studio A for the cocktail hour. Trigger also has an amazing sound system that allowed our DJ to bring even less equipment than he normally would. Trigger also included it's own arch so all we had to do was decorate it with floral clusters and some drapery. Overall, the entire space just gave us such a warm, eclectic, and relaxed vibe and the owner, Scott Tallurida, was so helpful, friendly, patient, and accommodating. For instance, hair and makeup was onsite at Trigger and Scott was flexible with our start time and allowed us into the venue before 8am so we could get everyone squared away. He also allowed us to leave the leftover liquor onsite for our liquor vendor to pick up. I couldn't have imagined a more perfect day or a more perfect venue that just fit with our style. We are so grateful to have found Trigger and to have had the pleasure of working with Scott. We definitely recommend Trigger for your next big event.
