My name is Trisha Bruins and I'm all about capturing the love between genuine, joyful, and down to earth couples! Going off the beaten path, looking a little silly to get "the shot" and just hanging out with my couples, is what I am all for.
I am located in Holland MI, but I am willing to travel to almost everywhere for a beautiful wedding. Weddings are one of my favorite things to photograph. I just love love and how can I say no to going to an awesome party every weekend! Getting to know you as a couple and helping you through the day is really fun for me. I don't want to come to your wedding as just another vendor, but as your friend.
My style is very timeless and I am great at capturing the perfect mix of gorgeous curated photos and fun candid ones. I like to capture things as they happen to make sure to get real genuine moments. My goal is to tell your unique story through my images. I want you to feel something when you look at my photographs. At the end of the day, capturing the the love you two share is the goal.

I am a fun loving, lighting obsessed and slightly goofy photographer. I love getting "the shot" even it it means laying on the ground, standing in the rain or looking a little creepy in a bush. If I end a session with you laughing and having a great time, I have done my job! You are not just hiring a camera but the person behind it. I don't want to just be the stranger you book to take your photos, I want to be your friend. A friend you can relax in front of, make jokes together, laugh with and cry with.

We had the pleasure of working with Trisha 3 separate times during our wedding planning process. She got to capture our engagement photos, a boudoir shoot, and our wedding day. She did an absolute fantastic job capturing the absolute best moments for us. I cannot stop staring at all the beautiful photos she took. She definitely deserves more than 5 stars! Thank you so much Trisha for all the special memories!
Trisha was the perfect photographer for our wedding on September 30th in Holland, MI. She was excellent at communicating with us before the big day, which was super important because we live out of state. Trisha was open to all of our crazy ideas and was willing to be creative to get some really cool pictures!
She was a calm presence on the actual wedding day and was very professional. I cannot recommend her enough!!

Booking Trisha for our wedding photography was one of the best decisions my husband and I made. Photography was probably the most important component of the wedding planning process besides the venue itself so I put a lot of research into photographers. Trisha offered a few different packages to choose from which I liked - she also was flexible on customizing the amount of hours within the package. The package we chose included an engagement session and a credit for physical prints (which were SUCH good quality).
Trisha truly went above and beyond for both our engagement session and our wedding day. She was so organized and had such great visions for which locations would work for us. Our venue had limited backdrops (or so I thought) but she managed to find locations that ended up being beautiful. I love looking back at our wedding photos because I feel as though she was able to capture the day - from the candids to the detail shots everything was amazing. I highly recommend booking Trisha for your wedding day!

Trisha did an amazing job as the photographer for my Daughter’s wedding. The pictures were amazing from the posed pictures to the candid’s she has a special touch of capturing the event. As the Mother of the bride you are not always able to enjoy everything that is going on at the wedding. It was so nice to get Trisha’s pictures and recap the event. We highly recommend Trisha. She is professional and enjoyable to be around as well.

We used Trisha for our wedding photos and she did such an amazing job at capturing the day! She did a great job with all of our portraits and group photos, but the photos that meant the most to us were all of the amazing candids she took that really captured the moments of happiness and joy throughout the wedding. Trisha was so professional, kind, and friendly and we were so grateful to have her as our photographer.

My husband and I found Trisha through our wedding planner, Kristin. We were SO excited to get married in Michigan and Trisha was exactly who we were looking for. She was able to capture what our relationship is really like (goofy, and silly) and was also able to capture some mature and serious moments- which are rare! Our engagement session was on my husbands birthday, and I happened to be under the weather, but she took some incredible photos of us. When our venue in Michigan fell through, and the pandemic hit shortly thereafter, we were terrified of losing Trisha because we weren’t even sure if our wedding would still happen. Eddie and I ended up keeping our original date of 9/5/20 and got married in our home state, and renewed our vows on 6/26/21 in Wisconsin which is where we currently live. Trisha was generous enough to stick with us and drive all the way from Michigan to the Milwaukee suburbs to be right by our side and capture all of our silly and sweet moments alike! We loved working with Trisha because she got us! She has such a great vibe, and she’s so, so sweet! 10/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

We just got our photos back from our engagement session and they were AMAZING!!! She made us feel so comfortable and we were laughing the whole time. She’s great with direction and capturing both posed and candid pictures. I can’t wait to have her photograph our wedding!

Trisha was absolutely the best on our wedding day! She listened to what we wanted for our photographs and completely delivered beyond our expectations. We wanted less posed and more candid shots of us enjoying the party with our family and friends and that is exactly what we got. It was a very small wedding of 50 guests and some photographers would have really seemed intrusive. But Trisha captured everything so well and our guests never even realized she was taking their picture. I have a couple of family members that have remarked that they don't like photographs of themselves but they loved every one of the ones from our wedding. I cannot say enough good things about Trisha and I hope this review convinces brides looking for the perfect photographer to hire her!

Trisha is so awesome!! She was quick to respond, skyped with us (we were planning our wedding from out of state), and was so friendly! Trisha is super down to earth and fun to work with. I've been a very stressed bride this wedding process however Trisha has helped me immensely and has been accommodating. She is quick to respond and a pleasure to work with. She did our engagement photos and was so nice about our location in the woods she looked at it as an adventure which I thought was so kind. She will be photographing our Oct 20th wedding in 30 days and I am so happy that she is our photographer!

Trisha was amazing!! We are in LOVE with our pictures, and we couldn't have asked for anything better!
