Tristan Rhodes Photo

Ok, first of all, I am a terrible person because I've been married for 15 months and I'm just now writing this review. But I just have to say that every time I look back at my wedding photos I am brought back to all the joy and emotion of the day because of the amazing photos that Tristan took. We were married on 11-18-17. I was not a super organized bride but it didn't matter because TR was on top of it!! Even when my husband whined about taking MORE pics after the ceremony, Tristan had a way of gathering people and capturing the moment. I was truly blown away by not only the quality but the quantity of stunningly beautiful pics from our special day. I expected a handful of stunning photos but literally every single photo had the same care and attention as the next. I don't think even in my mind I could have captured better memories. It was really important to me to have a mix of portrait, staged and candid pictures and I got all of that and then some! One thing that really stood out was Tristan's goal of capturing a photo of every single person in attendance. My wedding was 125 guests and he got at least 2 pictures of everyone - from the most camera shy to the ones who ended up licking their wounds the next morning LOL. Tristan - from the bottom of my heart - thank you for doing what you love and capturing the moments and people that are so special to me. I am reminded of you every time I see my wedding pictures. You went above and beyond for us and I am forever grateful for your brilliant talent.

Tristan did a great job at our wedding. We didn't wanted to have the boring classic pictures, we wanted our pictures to show the story of our wedding day, the feeling on a way that even if you weren't there you could look at the pictures and feel the essence of the moment and he accomplish this. He captured pretty much everyone, we didn't really posed for pictures(what I don't like) everything just flow natural and he make it easy. We are VERY HAPPY with his work. I would definitely recommend him to anyone.

Tristan was an incredibly accommodating photographer! My fiance and I both lived in different cities and neither of those cities was where we were getting married. Tristan was so quick to adjust to our schedules and meet with us when it was convenient for us, even in the midst of him having a busy schedule himself. He did such a great job at capturing all of the important moments on our wedding day and giving us a many different shots to choose from! He did a great job taking charge during the reception with making sure he was able to stand where he needed to in order to get the best pictures. I am so appreciative that he agreed to be our photographer!

When we first looked for a wedding photographers it seemed to me that all the photos lacked imagination and originality and captured the same lame posed images of the couples they shot. Everyone's work looked the same. After looking at a bunch of potential photographers, I said to my wife, 'you choose because I don't see a difference. Oh, and I'm not doing anything corny like jumping in the air or walking down a hill high-fiving my groomsmen.' My wife asked me to look at one more potential photographer. I agreed expecting to see the same stock pictures. But I was blown away by what she showed me. The people behind the camera in these pictures captured what I imagined it would be like looking at my own wedding photos. The pictures were fantastic. They told a captivating story. Fast forward a few months, and the wedding pictures absolutely blew me away. Judging from their previous work, I was expecting great pictures, but I was not expecting to see our story told so powerfully. Tristan gave us everything we wanted and so much more. I cannot thank him enough for making the night so special and being so easy to work with.
