I cannot say enough amazing things about Trixie’s Salon and their incredible team for our wedding day! From the moment they arrived, they brought such a calm, positive energy that ...
made the entire morning feel relaxed and enjoyable.
Getting ready on your wedding day can feel overwhelming, but the girls at Trixie’s made everyone feel comfortable, confident, and taken care of. They were so kind, professional, and truly a joy to work with. Not only did they create the most beautiful hair and makeup looks, but they also helped make the morning feel special and stress-free.
Every single person looked absolutely stunning, and the attention to detail was amazing. The team was organized, talented, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect.
A huge thank you to Trixie’s Salon for being such an important part of our wedding day. You helped make the morning unforgettable, and we are so grateful for everything you did!
10/10 would recommend to any bride looking for a talented, professional, and genuinely wonderful team! 🤍✨
hired Trixies for my wedding hair. Maddie and Courtney did an amazing job on my hair and my bridesmaids hair. I have very thick hair with lots of layers but Courtney was a wizard w...
ith bobby pins. They were so fun and kind while doing our hair. My hair stayed all day and I felt so beautiful!
I will say that sometimes communication was stressful and spotty with the studio themselves. Sometimes a month would pass without an email response. I think there might have been a staffing change so that could have affected it. I had to be somewhat pushy at times, but it all worked out in the end. Once I did my trial with Courtney and started communicating with her, everything was great!
When I needed someone to do my hair for my recent wedding, a friend told me about Trixie's. I have unruly curly hair that never looks the same from day to day, so Trixie's suggeste...
d their stylist Lauren A, who does a lot of curly hair. I showed her photos of partial updo's similar to what I wanted. She spent a lot of time the morning of my wedding making sure to get it just right, she helped me stay calm, and she was very sweet, patient, and fun! My hair turned out beautifully and I was very happy with everything she did! I highly recommend their salon!
The ladies at Trixies are absolutely wonderful! I had them do my hair and makeup, and all of my bridesmaids' hair and makeup as well. Everything turned out absolutely gorgeous! The...
y knew exactly what to do to have everything last all day and look great in pictures. They even provided mimosas and gave me a "Bridal Survival Kit"! The girls are so much fun and really gave us a perfect start to the wedding day!
I had my wedding day hair and all of my bridemaids' hair styled here. Best value for an Aveda salon in the Des Moines area, trust me, I looked everywhere! Only $25 for the practice...
style (recommended), $50 for the bridal up-do, and $35 for the bridal party up-dos. I had one stylist to myself while the other stylists there worked on my bridal party. I was a little worried after my practice, my stylist didn't seem very experienced, but we got to know each other and she pulled off a fantastic wedding day hairstyle for me! Exactly what I was wanting. My bridal party all thought their prices were great and all loved their styles! Started my wedding day off right. :)
