y Day would not have been the same without them! The Chef and staff did an amazing job with our menu. It was so delicious and the presentation was beautiful. The servers were extremely attentive to all my guests. Although it was extremely cold we were able to get some great sunset pictures of us on their beautiful golf course views! The fire pit on the patio was a huge hit. I could not have picked a better venue to hold our winter wedding!

ing to worry about set up and the coordination of day. We met once a month and worked out most of the kinks of the wedding and hired her to do all of my coordination. I had no worries or concerns about my wedding day until less than month before, when the club promoted Amanda and brought in Julie. Julie did her best to hop in and understand exactly what Amanda and I had planned and how the coordination of my wedding was supposed to go, however things didn't work out. Thank goodness my fiance and mom had come to every appointment with me and knew how things were to be set-up, but still my centerpieces and more were not correct. My husbands grandmother tripped on the aisle runner cause the steaks that were brought to hold the aisle runner down weren't instered. More than that my husband and I decided to tie a unity "knot" with a rope, which was thrown away by the cleaning crew. The reception was great even though my decor was wrong and the servers shut down my event an hour early and were throwing away peoples food and drinks before they were ever even touched. Overall things went well and Julie tried her best to make things perfect. I don't necessarily blame her I blame the club for not having Amanda finish out the weddings she started during one of their busiest times of the year. I also think Amanda should have taken it upon her self to make sure all the brides that she had set-up were taken care of and Julie knew their every needs. Cause Julie wasn't aware that there was a coordination option and that I had paid her to be my wedding coordinator. I think Trophy Club has some kinks that need to be worked out before wedding season is upon them once again. I hope by now that Julie is comfortable in her new position cause for mine she was put in a "no win" situation. At the end of the day we had a beautiful wedding, but when you spend a year and a half planning a wedding with a venue you expect for things to as planned. Thankfully, my guest had no clue things were wrong and they loved the food.

edding coordinator seemed to be well organized and we mistakenly believed and trusted that we would receive the services as they were planned. On the day of the reception, the main wedding coordinator who we had dealt with all along was not there, but her assistant was. We didn't initially have a problem with the assistant until we ran into little issues and we found her difficult to locate throughout the evening. The major thing that we went wrong and we got shorted on we're the hors d'oeuvres. We paid for and thought we were getting a certain amount to cover the number of guests. When I talked to several guests after the wedding was over to inquire about how the food was and how the hors d'oeuvres were, only 1 person I talked to actually got their hands on 1 spring roll. The others either did not see them at all, or saw a server with them, but it never was brought anywhere close to them. The wedding party got a plateful of spring rolls and mini crab cakes, but not enough for everyone to have even one or the other! We were the guests of honor, but the servers did not seem to realize that or bother to do very basic things like asking us what we wanted to drink, etc. Now granted, we had a drink station in the back, but how hard would it be to ask us what drinks we would like to drink and bring them to us? We paid for unlimited soft drinks for all of our guests, but they did not seem to be replenished throughout the evening. Also, we were promised to go boxes of our entrees, but neither the head server, or assistant in charge that evening told us where this would be or where our cake to take home would be. It was just left sitting out somewhere and a member of our wedding party saw it luckily and took home the cake for us. For the amount of money that was paid for this event, the service was average to below average, and also there was a lack of follow-up after the event. If you do choose to use this venue, make absolutely sure you have someone such as a family member or close friend that knows how everything is supposed to go that can check on things throughout the evening and before hors d'oeuvres are served to make sure that guests are served what you paid for. The one good thing of the evening was the portion size and taste of the entrees. Absolutely no complaints about that. As mentioned earlier, the venue was beautiful and made for good pictures. Just be very cautious if you decide to use this venue for your reception and be sure to have someone check on things each step of the way to ensure things are being done properly.
