Having Tropical Maui Weddings help plan our wedding was the best thing we could have done! Because of their compassion and attention to detail our dream wedding became a reality. Lori is such a lively, bubbly, and caring individual. Without her we would have been lost. The wedding day ran so smoothly because of her. Lori also was extremely mindful of our budget as well. The team at a Tropical Maui Weddings is truly amazing. We worked with them for almost 2 years planning our wedding. Lori was great the entire time. From our initial consultation, to a few days after the wedding when we picked up our belongings that were left behind at the venue it was nothing but great and positive experiences. Our plan was a destination wedding on a budget and Lori was amazing and making our dreams come true. She presented us with multiple options and gave us her honest vendor review and recommendations. She also let us know what vendors work best with each other. Lori had multiple meetings over the phone and FaceTime with us whenever we had questions or reached a stage of the planning that required more than a back and fourth email. Lori even kept us on track with our budget when we were thinking of upgrading our food vendor because of a family tradition of having a whole Lechón. She was able to find a local vendor that specialized in whole roasted pigs, this allowed us to keep our original food choice and save thousands without having to change and upgrade food vendors. Her husband Jamie was amazing the whole time also, we even hired him to be our live musician for the ceremony and cocktail hour (he is amazing with a wonderful voice, you should definitely consider him for your wedding). We even bonded with Lori and Jamie over our interest in Tequila. The team on the day of the wedding was even more impressive. We had an unexpected high wind day and they immediately pivoted and changed the table settings to avoid napkins from flying and cups from breaking. But what impressed us the most was that one of the groomsmen had forgotten his white button down shirt and one of Lori’s team members offered the shirt off his back to the groomsmen, thankfully we were able to get him a new shirt so we didn’t have to borrow it but the gesture alone left a lasting impression. This same team member even helped with setting up all of the men’s pocket squares (he was dubbed the pocket square master). The rest of the night went through with out a flaw. Lori made sure we kept to schedule and even pivoted our first dance time in order to have it later during golden hour to give us an amazing view. All of their vendor recommendations were amazing and our family loved them all. You can be assured that the tropical Maui wedding team will do everything they can to make your wedding dreams come true.

We got married at the Hyatt in Lahaina looking off of kaanapali beach. We are from Arizona and like most destination weddings it is nerve wrecking to say the least. We personally worked with Sherron and her father helped with the sound system day of our wedding. Unfortunately, in the middle of wedding planning, the Lahaina fires occurred. Sherron was quick to ease my worries and helped me feel better about proceeding with wedding planning. She is a quick to the point and get it done kind of girl. Overall she was quick to respond to my txt messages and emails. She did not make me feel like I was bothering her or was too needy with communication. On the wedding day she was everything I needed. She did an amazing job at filling out the wedding and added touches that I didn’t even think about. Her father came through with the sound system during the wedding. Our officiant had a hard time blowing the conch but her dad stepped right in and took over seamlessly. The little touches, the great communication, and the overall attentiveness that we received, is why I would recommend them over and over. Thank you from the O’Neills :)

Tropical Maui Weddings was AMAZING. I worked with Sherron throughout my entire planning process. Our wedding took place at Olowalu Plantation House on Jan 9, 2024. Sherron and the TMW team were absolutely phenomenal- from start of planning until after the wedding day- I cannot say enough positive things. Such clear & efficient communication, professional, kind, warm, generous, and hard working people. They made the planning process such a breeze. I never could've had my destination wedding without their team. Sherron helped keep me on time with things. They made everything so much easier on us during the planning process and never steered us wrong with the many choices that came. Additionally through such a difficult time in Maui when the Lahaina fires happened, Sherron & TMW had so much on their plate both personally & professionally- and they were incredible through it all. We honestly cannot thank them enough. They helped make our day utterly perfect. Even through last minute weather changes, adjustments to seating, layout & lighting due to an added tent, helping to make our rehearsal dinner a wild success after a boat cruise got cancelled due to choppy weather- this team is the best. We were able to have so many items shipped directly to their business. Her dad even helped make a wooden name plate for a last-minute RSVP so that it'd match the one's we'd previously purchased on Etsy. On the day of she took care of everything. Sherron made sure everything was put together just like we'd imagined while leaving me to enjoy the special moments of my day. At every she turn made sure we had food, even though we were busy during our cocktail hour she brought our appetizers & drinks to us and made sure we had a whole sampling of our desserts & cake in our villa. I'm a bit late in posting this but here goes. We hired Lori at Tropical Maui Weddings to be our wedding planner back in 2022 and she was amazing. She was exactly what you would want in a wedding planner, she had all the minute details covered, knew which vendors to recommend and was always a step or two ahead of us planning things out. Something that clinched the deal for us was that she has a large collection of extras left over from previous weddings that you can choose from to use at your wedding, things like table runners, candle holders, vases etc. Being able to use this equipment helped keep us within our budget for the wedding. A special mention goes out to her musician husband Jamie who played beautifully throughout our wedding, and the rest of her team on the day especially the Russ Bus. Lori was an amazing planner from start to finish. We knew from the initial phone call that we would be going with her and her team for our destination wedding. We are from California and communicated mostly through aisle planner (super cool planning website) and closer to our wedding- texts and emails. My wife and I were married at Olowalu Plantation House in March and we are so glad we choose Tropical Maui Weddings. We were about a year out from our wedding date and realized that our current wedding planner wasn't doing her job and we needed to make a switch. After speaking with Olowalu and our photographer, we decided to reach out to Tropical Maui Weddings and I can honestly tell you we felt like we found the perfect team to handle our wedding on our first call. Lori was so organized and just made us feel so comfortable that our wedding would be awesome and that she would take care of all of the details and guide us to our big day. And that's what she did! They use this program called Aisle Planner that let's you see exactely what you need to do each month and it really made the process so much easier just having a spot to see what was happening and what was being done. In the end, we literally didn't have one thing go wrong and I know there was so much going on from organizing all the vendors, staff, guests, and ourselves. I'm so grateful that we had her whole team at our wedding and I'd recommend her to anyone looking to have a wedding in Maui!

I feel so lucky to have picked Lori and the TMW team to plan my wedding. Since I'm not based in Maui, I really wanted a local planner and Lori is definitely the right choice. Lori knows all the good vendors locally based in Maui -- for the big items like photography and catering, she just recommends a couple choices with detailed pricing and I only need to compare and pick one. I can't stress enough how much time this saves me. And looking retrospectively, these are truly good vendors who were perfect for the wedding! Lori's connection also handles for emergency situation when one of my bridesmaid's dress doesn't fit and we found this out 1 day before the wedding, so Lori recommended a tailor who was able to fix it last minute! Lori also runs a wedding storage. Being a lifelong procrastinator, I bought so many things from Amazon last minute, and Lori must have signed 10+ packages for me over the few days before my wedding..... This makes my life so much easier since I don't have to worry about packages not arriving on time or packing everything into my already bloated luggage. Plus, the storage contains many decors and props donated by previous brides. We were able to borrow quite a few things for the wedding decor, even some tradition Chinese tea ceremony decors from a previous wedding planned by Sherron! Lori is also super responsible and professional. During the planning phase, she was always responsive to my requests, questions and comments. Even after the wedding, she goes above and beyond to secure some deals with a vendor. I don't even have enough space to go into how the wedding planning was during Covid, and how well Lori handled the date changes, etc, etc. Apart of all her professionalism, Lori just has a such a sweet personality and is fun to work with! I can tell Lori and Jamie don't see wedding planning as just a business, they bring a human touch to the process and I'm really glad to have them as part of my special day!

Lori and the TMW team were amazing and we couldn't have picked anyone better. Lori and the TMW team was incredible and I could not recommend them more. We had so many road bumps (including my husband getting Covid a few days before the wedding) and they were able to move our entire wedding to the next week once he was better and out of quarantine. For my husband and I, the largest part of hiring a wedding planner was to have someone who was dependable and would help with all issues, big and small. That was TMW to a tee and we couldn't be more grateful to them! On top of being crisis management experts, Lori provided amazing recommendations for other vendors (and were also able to find last minute replacements for videography and for photo booth), including different options with different price points, a fabulous wedding planning tool and an incredible day of team who helped the day go as smooth as possible. Lori and Jamie are my Rock Stars! Lori and Jamie were a surprise from my husband. here goes my story... Lori and I go back many years...I was with her when she met Jamie during our girls trip to Maui. Years later, I was blessed to meet my husband-to-be. I really wanted Lori to marry us but due to other circumstances she was unable to...at least that is what I thought. Lori, Jamie and my husband masterminded this surprise over a 2- year timeframe (mainly due to pandemic). Lori and Jamie traveled from Maui to Iowa. The night before the wedding, we were taking out our hosts for dinner. You got it...Lori appeared and yes, I couldn't stop crying. Lori not only married us but helped me with my make-up, flowers, hair, my stupid shoes (thankfully, Lori had grabbed my sandals), photos, etc... She was perfect touch to my perfect day. AND to top it all off, Jamie sang my favorite song plus entertained our guests. It was a perfect...I still tear up thinking about it. I couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day.

Sherron, Jamie and their team was outstanding. First off, I lived in Amsterdam the entire time we planned it up until I moved home 2 weeks before my wedding. It was a 12 hour time difference, so communication was slow between us and conversations had to be carefully planned. And Sherron made everything perfect and worked so well with me being on the other side of the world. She made me feel very taken care of. It was worth every penny for 7-star service leading up to and on my wedding day. They are organized in a way I have never seen before in the weddings I’ve been a bridesmaid in. All of my guests were very impressed and absolutely loved the team. Everyone has repeatedly told me it was the nicest wedding they have ever been to and trust Sherron to guide you there. We had 70 guests and maybe 25 staff, and everyone was blown away by the level of service. Food and drinks being brought out to guests at their seats. And Sherron was so great, for example when photos are being taken she was asking what we needed (food/drinks) making suggestions because your brain barely works on your wedding day, and instantly water, drinks, appetizers were brought to where we were standing. At the last minute I realized my veil wasn’t on before walking down the aisle, her team member dropped everything and ran back to the house to find it, stuck it in my hair and sent me down the aisle. The whole team talks on these little radios in their earpiece so things happen as soon as you ask. It was really above anything I expected. Another thing, my mustard yellow dinner napkins didn’t get delivered on Amazon in time and Sherron made it happen and I was honestly expecting these coral colored ones we discussed as a backup and magically there were mustard yellow napkins on the wedding day. It was magical with the aerial artists, the chandeliers, the table settings. We went with craft cocktails and the mai tais came in a beautiful clear tiki glass. The whiskey/scotch/bourbon bar was a huge hit, no bottle was left behind there. DJ Del kept the party dancing all night (no slow songs) until it ended in a full blown huge jumping and dancing bash. The food was served by sugar beach catering and it was top tier. Everyone absolutely loved the food. Every vendor we chose Sherron single handedly guided us to them, communicated our needs to them, and helped make the execution perfect. Worth every penny and wouldn’t change a thing. It was the perfect day.

Having Sherron, Jamie, Lori and everyone at Tropical Maui Wedding help plan/ coordinate our wedding was the BEST decision we made for this entire wedding! They always went above and beyond every request and expectation we had. We didn’t even get around to shop for different wedding planners because Sherron was just that good! Being the first and only one we talked to and we knew already we didn’t need to look no further. We worked with Sherron for 2 1/2 years due to COVID but we never had a question or concern they couldn’t address. At each step of the way Sherron made sure it was in our best interest. She helped me narrow down my million mismatched ideas into a dream vision. Her response and problem solving skills were also lightening fast! Hands down I would recommend any family and friends that are looking to get married in Maui to work with Tropical Maui Wedding. I can’t wait to plan my vow renewals with them!!!!

Sherron is an absolute rockstar! We eventually had to cancel due to COVID, but throughout, and even after the cancellation, Sherron was timely, professional, creative and a pleasure to work with for my fiance and I. I would highly recommend her and Tropical Maui Weddings.

Just amazing! Lori at Tropical Maui Weddings is incredible. She and her husband Jamie exceeded our expectations by miles! Our wedding - true to form (unfortunately) - had an immense challenge preventing us from being able to have it on Tue Aug 28; the Category 5 Hurricane Lane in late Aug 2018 that hovered in front of the Big Island and creating a ton of storm rain for Maui. We were closely watching the news and weather channel, and keeping in constant touch with Lori, who provided so much frequent real-time info and reassurance as the days neared, what it was like on Maui with Hurricane Lane slamming the islands and not leaving! We were the last flight out of the Bay Area, (and Canada). All our family and friends had their flights cancelled, except those coming from Australia who were already in the air - all rebooked 36hours later, thankfully. Lori and team were organizing and conducting weddings successfully, but Hurricane Lane, not leaving or moving more than 2mph, battered Maui harder. Inquiring with Lori about possibly moving our wedding from Tue to Wed 29Sep, she - calm, knowledgeable, reassuring and resourceful as always - juggling an increasing amount of changes and rescheduling weddings that were being upended, said she would get back with us within 2 hours!! She did. And with news that our Olowalu location and all the vendors were holding Tue & Wed available for us. Wow! Right?! Incredible! We chose Wed immediately. Lori had it arranged within another hour with all the vendors and Olowalu. Just Incredible! We were so thankful. Some weddings on the island were cancelled due to Hurricane Lane, and on Tue 28Sep, the fires that sparked in Lahaina, consumed 9 homes. (and I believe extinguishing one life!) It was heartbreaking. Wildfires during a Cat5 Hurricane?! How?! Lori and her team were amazing - what they all had to deal with; cancelations, rescheduling possibilities, managing and coordinating vendors and wedding locations, stressed out brides & grooms, including us. Lori and Tropical Maui Weddings are worth every dollar! Lori also helped us immensely by offering up the wedding decorations she has available from previous weddings that she's collected over the years, that we could chose from. And we did! Our decorations were perfect! All from her collection. It was very endearing to spend so much time with Lori, her husband Jamie at their house choosing everything and finalizing decisions. We were made to feel like family - they made our entire wedding planning, wedding ceremony, and reception, an amazing experience. At no point did it feel like we just had a Project Manager plan our wedding and reception - we had an empathic, personable, capable expert who can clearly manage multiple projects wit the same personable touch and care, attention to details, that make all the difference. And she is very familiar with Olowalu, which also gave us confidence we had the right planner. Jamie also is an incredible musician who we had play at our wedding and also ran the music at our reception - above and beyond! Amazing! It was clear we needed Jamie to help us successfully manage the music and equipment and proved to be the right call. We have such incredible memories from our improbable wedding that almost didn't happen. We love Lori, Jamie, Sherry who made a seemingly impossible wedding, possible and magnificent! Tropical Maui Weddings (TMW) is a 5-stars+++ wedding planning company. This company is a family run operation, which makes everything more intimate. The A-team includes Lori (the Mrs/ fabulous planner/life of the team), Jamie (the Mr/ Sound guy/Tech guy/Strong arms for all the handy work), and Sherron (the daughter/ the social media guru/creative lady). Lori and her team made the wedding planning and wedding day smooth and easy! There was no way to plan for the wedding as my husband are I both located in California. It is often difficult to trust someone to manage one of the biggest moments in life. However, as I got to know Lori through her short stories about herself, her family, and her vendors. I started to become more comfortable and confident with this company! Prior to arriving to Maui, Lori and I have spent months exchanging emails on vendors, decorations, and everything in between. She was attentive and offered straightforward perspective. She is also very knowledgeable with pricing and vendors. Upon arrival in Maui, Lori and her team met my family and husband. We went through everything. She was thorough and thoughtful. She also baked some good cookies for our meeting. This company has an extensive storage that is full of goodies to use for the wedding. To name a few - plate settings, tables settings, candles, signs, baskets, and tea sets. I can go on and on, she has so much, and I can honestly say that saved so much on not having to buy these items. Lori handled large and small crises like a pro! I texted her that I needed a lint roller that morning for the groom. That same afternoon when I walked into the bridal suite and a lint roller was sitting on the chair. One of our family members had a sick toddler the night before the wedding and needed a specific diet. Lori immediately contacted the food vendor and made the changes happened three hours before the ceremony. I would call that flexibility and top-notch customer services! We didn’t get to try our wedding food or meet any of our other vendors prior to the wedding because my husband and I did not have the time to travel to Maui. So, we really had to trust Lori’s words and she delivered on her words! All the vendors were amazing! Although TMW does not advertise this as their slogan, I personally witnessed and experienced first-hand that they are customer-centered and customer-focused! This meant they met us where we were at including our needs and budget. TMW was honest and did not tried to up sell products that I did not needed. TMW laid out all my options so that I can pick and choose based on my own budget. They were worked hard to keep within my budget. Side note: We came during the Maui fire in early October 2019 and were displaced for a night. We ended up staying with our relative in Kihei. But Lori, without hesitations offer her spare bedrooms to us! I was so taken by her generosity and her kindness! To summarize, this company focuses on love and family, which I think are of the two of most important things any wedding needs. I can’t say enough about this family and their commitment at making one of the most important day of our lives into one of the most memorable day of our lifetime. Thank you TMW!

I have always believed God places people in our lives at very specific times and for very specific reasons. He did this when he placed my husband, Justin, in my life over 4 years ago. He proved Himself again when he blessed me with Sherron, Lori and Jamie of Tropical Maui Weddings. I was never the girl that put a lot of thought into my wedding years before it actually happened. Planning a Hawaiian wedding from Texas seemed completely overwhelming. Luckily, my mother came across the TMW website and was surprised to see a message written from her favorite author, Lavyrle Spencer. She is a close friend of the owners, Jamie & Lori Lawrence, and in the message describes Jamie's beautiful singing voice. Of course, my mother looked him up. She was so impressed she immediately sent me a link. I drove in tears as I listened to Jamie sing Bonnie Rait's "Feels Like Home". This song was perfect and I was immediately smitten. I filled out the online form as soon as I got home that Friday afternoon. Sunday, I received a call from "Makawao, HI". I spent the next hour talking to what felt like a long lost friend. Her name was Lori Lawrence of TMW and our connection was immediate. I had spoken with other planners and always felt less than inspired. Lori understood where I was in life and eased every worry. I got off the phone that day and Justin asked who I had been talking to because he could have sworn it was a girlfriend from college. By the end of July I had no less than 10 emails from Lori each with a different vendor category in the subject. The emails were filled with options, packages and pricing details for each. I love that Lori provided all the information without trying to sway my opinion. She allowed me to ask questions and would provide honest feedback. I knew with her many years of experience that she would never lead me down the wrong path. Our comfort with the decision to hire TMW was further solidified after traveling to meet the team in person. My mother and I bonded with them so much during that trip we felt as if we were leaving family upon our return to Texas. The months leading up to the wedding are full of decisions, but Lori is with you every step of the way. We wanted the destination experience, but didn't want to forgo decorative touches that seemed impossible. Once again, Lori has that covered. She has a super secret room in her home that is FULL of frames, candles, signs, easels, place card holders, fans....etc. All of this is included in TMW services. It allows you to have a perfectly curated wedding that matches your personality. Leaving the coordination to anyone else would have caused me great stress, but knowing Lori was on the job allowed me to send some inspiration photos, reply to her emails and relax. I can honestly say my biggest concern the week before the big day was what to pack for 2 weeks in HI and not the wedding itself. I had full confidence in the TMW team and they pulled off the most beautiful, special, fun-filled day. Jamie impressed everyone with his beautiful voice. Sherron and Lori made everything flow seamlessly. All Justin and I had to worry about was enjoying the time with our guests. I've delayed writing this review because I wasn't quite sure how I could describe TMW in a way that conveyed how wonderful they are. If you are planning a Maui wedding, I beg you to consider TMW. They will create for you the most beautiful, stree-free Best Day Ever.

Planning a destination wedding can be stressful. Lori and her team ensured our wedding was as stress free as possible! I chose Lori because she was the first one to say "Congratulations and let's set up a call to chat about your big day." None of the other companies made me feel as special. There are so many good things to say about Lori and her team at Tropical Maui Weddings. My wife and I absolutely loved their services. My husband and I got married on the beach on Maui on August 28, 2019 and feel so blessed that we had Lori, Jamie, and Sherron with us during the wedding planning process. From the very first time that I emailed Lori I knew that I had chosen the perfect wedding planner to make sure that my wedding day was everything that I dreamed of. We chose to have an intimate wedding ceremony on the beach, which was perfect. But I've seen TMW put together large wedding ceremonies and receptions as well. They really work to put together YOUR DREAM. Lori is so down to earth and her response time to emails/phone calls is phenomenal. Wedding planning is so stressful and Lori took so much of that stress off of my shoulders. She was so flexible when I made last minute decisions/changes to the wedding. She has connections to the best vendors on the island. Our vendors included Jennifer and Fredrick (with Marbelle) for photo/video, Lois for our florist, Donna and Randall (with MAB) for hair/makeup, and Pastor Laki. The vendors were amazing and it is all thanks to Lori for connecting me with all of them. I have to brag about Jamie as well. We had him sing a couple of songs for us during our wedding ceremony. His voice is honestly the voice of an angel! His music now holds a special place in our hearts as the soundtrack to our wedding. We even had the pleasure of having him sing for our first dance as a married couple. A couple of days before the wedding Lori invited us to her home to review the details of the wedding day. She had everything planned out to the minute, which for a Type A perfectionist like myself was great! She had everything covered that you could possibly think of. Lori and Jamie really made us feel like ohana (family). Lori has a ton of props and decorations that you can borrow for the wedding as well, which is lifesaving and made for some fun pictures. On our wedding day Lori was the superhero behind the scenes. She worked all day to make sure that everything was perfect so that I could focus on getting ready for the wedding. Sherron certainly made it all easier and worry-free for us. She's very organized and responsive. Her communication is always clear and polite. Before our wedding day, she let us borrow as many wedding decors as we wanted from her. The little final touch definitely makes our wedding look better. She gave us honest options on the vendors we chose and coordinated with the vendors to make sure they show up on time. Her Dad Jamie is definitely our favorite singer in our wedding, our guests were super impressed. Our wedding was so perfect and we couldn't have done it without Sherron and her team.

The entire Tropical Maui team was incredible, from start to finish! We planned the entire wedding from Kansas City, so we needed a wedding planner we could trust! We also were very budget conscious, since we were only doing a small wedding of 16 people. Lori had many phone calls with us where she worked hard to keep us in our budget while still creating the wedding we always wanted! She knows great vendors on the island, and her recommendations were top notch! Our videographer, photographer, caterers, and florist were all incredible! Her husband Jamie even played the guitar for us! On the day of, my husband and I were totally stress free. Tropical Maui weddings took care of everything with a smile on their faces! We can’t recommend them enough, they are definitely the best on the island!

We are coming up on a year (03/18/17) and still talk constantly with friends about our wedding and how great everything came together, and how helpful Tropical Maui Weddings was to us. We are LA-based and planning a destination wedding is no easy feat. They were great about helping us narrow in on other vendors - the internet is a VAST place, and having their suggestions of trusted vendors as jumping off points was such a weight off our shoulders - and also great about just helping us keep on track with who we needed to be responding to or making decisions on. It seems like they are friendly with just about everyone in Maui, and they really truly get how weddings should run on that island. Even when just 3-4 weeks before our wedding we found out that our caterer was closing down/backing out of all the weddings they’d committed to (!!) - Lori and here team were AMAZING. When they called us with the bad news, they had already been digging around and had another option for us to go with available on our day. Our wedding day could not have gone smoother and it is in large part to Lori & team’s help - I rarely noticed any of the setup/wrangling process which is exactly how it should be :) We cannot thank Tropical Maui Weddings enough for our dream wedding.

She also has storage with everything wedding you could possibly imagine that she allowed us to go through and borrow any additional items we needed - I thought this was such an amazing thing to offer to her brides!! Our wedding day was in May at Olowalu Plantation House (on another note, this is the most beautiful venue EVER. I couldn't imagine having been married anywhere else). Lori was so on top of it and everything went off without a hitch! Her team kept everything flowing, checked in with us often, fixed my bow, gave us sunscreen...I mean they truly thought of everything and were just such amazing planners/people! There were even a couple of small "hiccups" with a guest or two, and they handled it like absolute pros. It was the best day ever :) THANK YOU to the TMW team from the bottom of our hearts!! Such a perk and very convenient for us to be able to freely use anything we wanted for our wedding. It helped lots esp having a destination wedding. Saved us from having to bring a lot of stuff. I remember the day of the wedding we were getting ready to make our way to the church after taking our prewedding photos. Lori looks at me and says that I look so relaxed. In that moment I really was relaxed because I had full confidence and trust in Lori that she was going to make our wedding a dream come true. Thanks to Lori and Jamie, at Maui Tropical Weddings, my husband and I had a completely stress-free, incredibly spiritual, romantic and fun, perfect wedding, that was like something out of a story book!!! My husband and I got married in Maui in July this year. It was like a dream wedding. I can't imagine any way in which our wedding could have been more special. Here we are, living in California. Neither one of us had ever been to Hawaii. I found Lori and Jamie on line, and read the reviews. Lori arranged everything. She was “boots on the ground” in Hawaii, and believe me, she knows everything there is to know about arranging a Hawaiian wedding that you will never, ever forget. Not only did we have the perfect pastor and photographer, but Lori's husband Jamie sang at our wedding, and made it incredibly beautiful and memorable. He has the voice of an Angel. Seriously. From the time we arrived in Maui, she had everything worked out as smooth as silk, with a complete itinerary and instructions on what we should do. We got our wedding license and even had my dress steamed and his suit pressed with instructions on how that should be carried out. Zero stress and nothing but fun and pure enjoyment. Lori arranged a tailor made venue for us. We were married on a deserted beach (Ironwoods) as the sun was setting, and the sky was bright with color. We even had a rainbow over our heads as we said our vows. Lori found us the perfect restaurant within 5 minutes from the ceremony. This was one of the best days of our lives. On top of all that, they work within your budget, and try to get you everything you want at a price you can afford. Tropical Maui weddings was worth every penny spent. We are so grateful to Jamie and Lori for their time and care spent to make our day flawless. Look no further if you want a perfect Maui wedding experience!

Each little detail I wanted was documented by them and I can honestly say I couldn't have had my dream wedding without them. They took care of everything and reminded me of things that I might have forgotten! The day we got married (at Olowalu Plantation House) it stormed so badly that we all had to run for cover on the expansive deck. My wedding guests didn't care about getting wet that much so we carried on with the wedding in the pouring rain! Lori stuck it out until the very end to make sure everything went smoothly. She definitely gives it 110%

We got married in September 2016 at Olowalu Plantation House. This was a destination wedding for us as we are from the Bay Area. We are so thankful to have Lori and her husband Jamie for our wedding. Lori and her staff is really knowledgeable. They have excellent list of vendors that they recommend and for you to choose from. Lori will provide her advice when you need help with the vendors. She will make sure you are comfortable with everything you choose. She is also really well connected and helps you work within your budget. Unlike most brides & grooms, we were fortunate enough to meet Lori and Jamie about 10 months before our wedding as we attended a wedding in Hawaii. Lori and Jamie was very friendly people. Lori is really sweet also. She makes you feel comfortable and at ease. The week of our wedding was actually one of the worse storm week in Maui in the last 20 years. Lori constantly messaged us to keep us up to date on the weather. She immediately got a tent for us as precaution. We ended up not needing it as the day of our wedding actually turned out to be one of the hottest day but Lori stayed on top of things. Another positive is Lori has a lot of goodies which she will let you borrow. Her garage is filled with wedding decors and accessories. Its a dreamland for brides as it saves you a lot of money renting them or bringing your own from a distance. The only thing that had us nervous at times was her response time. Lori is really popular so sometime her response time may take awhile. So if your a bride that need immediate responses and emails everyday, you may want to reconsider. What she may be lacking in response time, she more than makes up for it in the service she provides. Lori will get it done. Overall, our wedding was beyond what we expected. It was so beautiful and our guest absolutely loved it. Thanks Lori!!!

Lori and her husband Jamie teamed up to execute the perfect day for us. Words can't describe how grateful we are for her hard work. Lori is an expert in this field and worked hard for us. I had guest's come up to me and comment on how perfect everything was and I have to give much credit to Lori. I even had a bit of a crisis with a guest that was filming for us and she went above and beyond to help us. She also recommended the best vendors and we loved everyone that we hired. Highly recommend!!

I can't even begin to express my sincere appreciation for Lori and Jamie Lawrence of Tropical Maui weddings. My husband says that it was worth every penny, and I can assure you that it was.:) We are from the Chicagoland area, so it would have been incredibly difficult to put everything together without some help directly in Maui, so I started my search. I noticed several rave reviews on Yelp for TMW, so I reached directly out to one of the brides who also had her wedding at Olowalu Plantation house, and she couldn't have had more wonderful things to say about her experience, so I took a leap of faith and contacted Lori, and I truly couldn't been more pleased with having made that decision. It turns out that she is a super organized ex-grade school teacher from the midwest turned wedding planner once she met the love of her life in Maui while on vacation. I'm pretty sure that her story alone sold me.:) But what also made a big difference to me is that she just charged a flat fee instead of being percentage based like I had heard that a lot of other coordinators were, and I felt a lot more comfortable with that scenario. After having spoken with us, she gave us a list of vendors that she's worked with in the past and has had success with, and we went from there. From the list we chose DJ Del, Louis Hiragana Floral Design,Kirsty Sinclair with Aloha Bars Maui, Sugar Beach Bake Shop, Jamie Lawrence, Cafe O'Lei Catering, Pastor Kale, Ohana Films, MeiLi Autumn Beauty, and Joanna Tano Photography. I truly could not be more pleased with each and every vendor that Lori recommended. Not to mention, all of the amazing things that she does to help out herself. She is there from the very beginning of the day until the end. She is truly amazing at what she does, and I cannot thank her enough for all of her support and guidance during such a special time in our lives.
