We just had higher ground at our wedding, total success. Hands down the best band I've ever heard at an event. Amazing mix of pop/rock/dance/latin/ and a killer hora. Had people dancing nonstop and a crowd full of musicians complemented them all night. They read the room perfectly, and tailored the evening to keep everyone going. Very professional to work with , took all our concerns and requests to heart, worth every penny.

Everyone was raving about how ridiculously amazing they were! They were INCREDIBLE. Better than my hopes and dreams. Just spectacular. They were all so talented--everything sounded so professional, was the highest quality, and provided the most impeccable performance/entertainment quality to our unforgettable wedding. Our band made our wedding ridiculously unforgettable for all of our guests. Also, Bambie who helped us coordinate and plan everything was fabulous. Our specific vision was brought to life and exceeded our expectations. Money very well spent. Although they are expensive, the value of the experience was worth more. they are definitely worth it. I know I was really scared and intimidated during the planning process…..but during & after the wedding all I can think of is how I am so happy that we went with and trusted them!! They were truly irreplaceable and gave us everything we could have ever wanted

Tropics entertainment is the absolute go to for any band or music entertainment you might want for your wedding. We used them for a live band as well as a DJ for our after party and they were phenomenal ! Higher ground is without a doubt THE best live band for a wedding and I’m not being biased because it was my own ( I still have all of my guests raving about the band , the liveliness they provided and so on). Kelsey from tropics is incredible as well and is super responsive and helpful with everything you need.

Cameo Band is simply the best band right now in South Florida. Every single guest at our event on 1/13/24 raved about how incredible this young group of performers is. They are energetic, fun, crowd pleasing and oh so talented. They kept the dance floor packed all night. The horn section never stopped playing either, unlike many other older bands we have seen. Tropics also provide excellent ceremony and cocktail violin and guitar performers. Overall, your choice of music at your event is a key factor in guest enjoyment. If you can afford it, hire Cameo. They provide the wow factor at any event. Kudos to these rising stars!

We hired Entourage for our wedding, and they are such an incredible band! We had a blast, and all of our friends were on the dance floor until the very end of the event. The band really can "make or break" a party, and this one was fantastic from start to finish!

Highly recommend Higher Ground from Tropics. They were the band at my daughter's wedding a couple weeks back. Simply superb. The band had all the guests moving all night long. If you have a crowd that likes to dance, Higher Ground can't be beat. From the 80's to current music, they can play and perform it all.

Tropics Entertainment has now performed at 3 of my family’s weddings. Their band, Higher Ground, performed at ours, and everyone had a blast! They even allowed my husband to plan to play one of their guitars on stage with them to serenade me at our reception. They were very fun, professional, and played all the songs we requested. We had Vinyl perform at our wedding this past weekend and we were blown away by how good they were. They had our entire wedding (170 people) on the dance floor the ENTIRE night. Every guest was raving about how good they were saying this is the best wedding band they’ve ever heard. The energy and talent if each band member was unmatched to anything I’ve seen before. Working with Tropics Entertainment was a dream from the first phone call to the final song at our daughter's wedding. We were promised a packed dance floor with Extasy and boy did they deliver. The singers are fantastic and the musicians bar none. They are lively, fun and engaging. The bride and groom started on the dance floor and ended up on stage with the band. Pure greatness, best night!

VINYL ROCKS!!! Not only was working with Tropics Entertainment a breeze, but Vinyl is a seriously amazing band. I just wanted to say that our wedding was by far the best night of our lives and the BEST WEDDING EVER!! I could not tell you how many people complimented the Entourage band, they were absolutely incredible. They had such a range of songs to play, amazing music and voices, and created such a magical experience for all of our guests. The only unfortunate thing was we didn’t get enough time with them! It flew by and everyone could have continued to dance and sing out in the courtyard for at least another 2 hours. Our wedding day was the happiest day of our lives - and so much of that was due to the incredible band, VINYL, and Tropics Entertainment. There are so many positive things I want to say about them - but knowing that I am limited to these few characters - I will do my best to capture all of the joy the band brought to the evening in the words below. In our search for the right band who fit our style and musical preferences, we came across many brides/grooms who shared that bands were notoriously difficult to work with - however, that was not the case with Tropics Entertainment at all! To start, Kelsey, the band's coordinator was so pleasant and easy to work with. She intently listened to our vision for the evening and made it incredibly easy for us as the bride and groom to enjoy the process. She worked with the band to hit all the key marks on our timeline. Then of course, was the band itself, VINYL. Their musical range - from Top 40s, to Latin, to classic oldies and everything in between - plus their musical IQ kept our guests on the dance floor all night long. Our guests would not stop talking about how much they enjoyed the band! And beyond their musical abilities, the entire band and supporting team was incredibly gracious and personable throughout the entire process. When we finally had the chance to personally meet the band lead Tori, signer Cedric and the rest of the crew - it felt like we had known them our entire lives. They truly made my wife and I feel like we were the most special people in the world during our wedding night. One of our fondest memories of the entire night was a moment we shared with the band as we took photos in the venue an hour prior to the guests' arrival. As my wife and I practiced our first dance for the first time during the band's sound check, the guitarist and lead singer spontaneously began playing our first dance song. Amidst what felt like the busiest day of our lives, we had a beautiful, private moment to ourselves in an empty venue with the band singing our song, just for us. If I were to sum up my emotions into a single thought, it'd be this: VINYL intimately understands the high stakes that brides and grooms feel during their wedding day. The fact that brides and grooms ask people to spend their hard-earned money and limited time to fly in from all over the world to celebrate a single evening with them generates an overwhelming sense of obligation; the obligation to make sure the guests to enjoy themselves and the obligation to walk away feeling like all the money and time invested in this moment was worth it. From the moment we met VINYL, we felt like they understood this and felt that they took this responsibility seriously. With that, plus their unmatched musical abilities, they delivered a night that will live deep in our hearts forever. We can’t thank them enough or recommend them more highly.

Tropics Entertainment is the best wedding entertainment! Steve, Cristina, Bambi, & Kelsey are so easy to work with and so accommodating for all of your wants and needs! We booked a string trio for our ceremony and cocktail hour. They played traditional ceremony music and then more modern songs during the cocktail hour and it was beautiful! We had The Clique 11 piece band for our reception and OH MY GOSH you need them!! We watched their video performances before booking but nothing compares to them in person. During our first dance we literally stopped and stared at the singer as soon as he started and then looked at each other in amazement because he was THAT GOOD!! In the middle of the reception the saxophone and other band members came off the stage onto the floor with our guests and played with all of us dancing around them and it was incredible! So many of our friends and family couldn’t stop talking about how good the band was and how they kept everyone engaged and on the dance floor all night which is exactly what we wanted! Definitely worth it to book Tropics Entertainment for your wedding needs!

Extasy band from Tropics Entertainment was the most amazing band who performed at my daughter’s recent wedding December 4,2021 at the Ritz Carlton in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Everyone was so impressed by how amazing the band was. We never sat down the entire night!! Thank you Tropics Entertainment and Extasy. Higher Ground absolutely rocked it (pun intended) on our wedding day! From start to finish, Dan Morris was a pleasure to work with, always responding to questions and emails in record time. I’m super passionate about music and had high standards for our playlist, and Higher Ground brought the perfect mix of pop, ‘80s rock and disco to the dance floor — which was packed all night long. They even learned a Taylor Swift deep cut for our first dance! Needless to say, our guests couldn’t stop raving about the band — and neither can we.

If you want the most incredible band that will get your guests dancing all night long… LIBIDO is your band! They brought the energy, their dance moves and music was unmatched. Our guests felt like they were at a concert. We love Libido and highly suggest hiring them for your special occasion. We could not be happier!!!

We hired the band Extasy through Tropics for our Wedding. The band was Amazing!! We have been to two weddings before with Extasy and knew we needed them for us. They played a mix of music that everyone could enjoy. From my older Latino relatives to my younger friends. Everyone has told us how much they loved the band. Extasy provided such an energy that had made all of guests have a blast! Not only do they sing they also perform and interact with all the guests. Everyone at Tropics is a professional and responds quickly to questions. Further, they were able to play three songs for our F/D, M/S, and first dance that were not included in their play list. We did a combo of slow/salsa version of Bruno Mars Just the way you are and it sounded great. If you are big on dancing and having a good time, make Tropics apart of your budget! Highly Recommend.

Extasy played at our wedding and they were wonderful. They worked with us to get a sense of the music we liked, and we loved what they chose-- and we were really particular! They were fun, super high energy, and engaged with our guests. So many of our guests told us it was the best wedding band they'd ever seen, and we completely agree. Seva was an exceptional performer. We highly recommend!

Gypsy Lane Band needs 10 stars!!! They are absolutely incredible and did such a great job at our wedding! They know how to read the room and play exactly what needs to be played to keep everyone on the dance floor. I was amazed that ALL of our guests were on the dance floor the entire night, and several guests even went on stage!!! It's been 2 months and everyone is still talking about our band! We hired the band Extasy through Tropics for our Wedding. The band was outstanding!! All of our guests were on the dance floor the entire night. Every guest commented on how much they LOVED the band. Extasy provided such an energy that had made all of guests have a blast! Not only do they sing they also perform and interact with all the guests. I can't say enough about how wonderful and happy we were with Extasy. Dan Morris who coordinates everything is also a pleasure to work with. He is quick to respond and communicates clearly with you during this process!

Higher Ground is AMAZING!!! No one from Tropics even asked us to write a review, I just felt the need to rave. All of our guests said they felt like they just attended a concert. People were sprinting back from the bathroom, falling onto the dance floor because they didn't want to miss a song. We were supposed to have a DJ at the end of the night and we splurged and extended the band another hour because everyone was literally having the time of their lives. I really don't think the video Tropics circulates of them even does them justice, they are SO GOOD. They also learned a bunch of songs for us, which we did not expect them to do but they killed it, including Hamilton's "Helpless" and "Peaches and Cream (lol don't judge) - I mean, the range!!! I just regret all the time I spent organizing people into tables at the wedding - I don't think anyone ever sat down?

Gypsy Lane Band deserves 10+ stars! They are amazing and set the tone for the entire wedding reception! They have an entire playlist of songs to choose from and get YOUR vibe on how you want the party to go. Then, when on break, the DJ has your songs. Our wedding party was into country and Shania during the break. They did not stop dancing. Gypsy Lane encouraged audience participation allowing us to dance with them on stage! They exhibited the love of their job and were engaged with everyone. They are truly artists! We will hold these memories for ever and LOVE all the follow up stories we keep hearing from all the guests! Again, thank you.

Vinyl played our daughter's wedding in June 2021 at the Pelican Club, Jupiter. They were FABULOUS!!!!!!! The dance floor was rocking all night. BEST BAND EVER! We hired Tropics Entertainment: Higher Ground and WOW!! We are so BEYOND THRILLED with the band's performance and high energy! Our guests RAVED about the band to us - they truly sounded amazing! In addition, they were very accomodating, playing a lot more requests and songs catered towards our music preferences than on their published setlist, which we greatly appreciated! A great band really sets the tone for the wedding and we could not have asked for anything better than Higher Ground!!

We knew we wanted to book a band from Tropics Entertainment after we had the best time at a friend's NYE wedding. We found Extasy, another band that we loved even more at Tropics, and everyone at the wedding could not stop talking about the fantastic band. They were energetic, fun, and very involved with the crowd. I wanted a wedding where it would be a nonstop party with a full dance floor, and my wedding was exactly that. They were also very easy to work with and accommodating. Now, another couple from our wedding has booked them for their wedding next year, and I can't wait to dance the night away again!

I booked Tropic Entertainment - Higher Ground Band for my daughter's wedding this past weekend. My daughter had always raved about them but I had never had the pleasure to hear them perform until Saturday. WOW!!!! They made the wedding reception a party that our 450 guests will never forget! Everyone, and I mean everyone, was asking me for the name of the band. They all concurred that this is the best band in Miami, PERIOD. Once they began playing, the dance floor was packed all the way until they stopped. nobody got off the floor and they know how to play to the crowd. They played songs from all decades!! They take requests, but my advice is to let them play, they know how to get your party going all night. If you are looking for a band for your event, do not waste your time and money on any other band, trust me, this is the band to have at your event.

We had the BEST band from Tropics Entertainment: Libido. They exceeded all expectations (and expectations were high). Every guest was raving about them after the wedding. They did an amazing job! I would highly recommend them for any event!

We loved working with Tropic's DJ Tropics! The DJ and musicians were all amazing, and really nailed our music taste and kept people on the dance floor all night. Nicole, the band coordinator, was fantastic -- taking the time to set up several calls with us in advance to make sure all our preferences were accounted for, and our on-site coordinator, Beverly, was there to handle any last minute changes and make sure everything went smoothly. I cannot say enough good things about them -- and our guests felt the same way!

Libido played at our destination wedding in Aspen, Co 8/31/19. Even with the threat of hurricane Dorian threatening South Florida, they came to Aspen and put on an amazing performance full of incredible energy. The band came with 4 singers and a horn section, and we and our guests did not stop dancing the entire night. We highly recommend Libido for your special event.

Vinyl delivered a fabulous performance for my corporate client in Cancun! The lead singers’ voices were gorgeous, and their energy was off the charts! They had 700 people dancing in the sand for 90 minutes straight. The guests never sat down; it was like being at an awesome concert. The next day at breakfast, the buzz was that Vinyl was the best band they’d ever had. I am an event/entertainment producer, with 20+ years in the business. I gave the band some specific direction, and they ran with it. The final product was absolutely electric! The synergy between the band and the audience was amazing. The musicians were super talented and cool. Their attire was spot hot. The band-leader prepared the musical line-up with such finesse. His timing, selections, and arrangements – were just perfection! We were thrilled with the amazing, high quality musicians from Tropics Entertainment. The Marischen Duo performed during cocktail hour and dessert and set the perfect tone with a mix of classic and contemporary music. Remix performed during the main part of the party. They were so high energy, so engaging and had everyone dancing, singing and enjoying themselves non-stop! Their range was amazing; they covered everything from disco to pop hits and if you closed your eyes, you absolutely would have thought Bruno Mars or Earth Wind & Fire had joined the stage. Our guests were unanimous in their praise. We will definitely hire Tropics Entertainment again and again.

We had Vinyl at our wedding and the were AMAZING! We ended booking them kind of last minute and they still learned and did an outstanding job with all of our requested songs. They had all of our guests on their feet instantly, and I cannot stress enough the extreme talent of the lead vocalists. When they started singing Shallow from A Star is Born. all of our guests literally gasped, it was beautiful. We feel like we got the best band for our wedding, we can’t imagine it going any better. We are so grateful for Vinyl for making our wedding so much fun. People are still raving about the band. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND Vinyl and Tropics Entertainment for your wedding. We are beyond pleased. Entourage knocked it out of the park at our wedding Saturday night. They crushed it!! I never thought I would have so much fun at my own wedding, but I did. They were absolutely amazing! My husband and I got married at Boca Raton Resort and Club in March 2019. I definitely recommend the band FLAVOR from Tropic Entertainment. They were upbeat from beginning to end and they played all our favorite songs. We danced all night long! They have a great energy on stage. Everyone was complimenting them to us. Tropics was amazing! We hired extasy for our wedding band and they were truly the best part of our wedding! Our guests were dancing from the minute they walked through the doors, they barely sat to eat. They made our wedding so lively and fun! Guests were raving about them after. They played exactly what our guests liked to dance to, and adjusted music accordingly to our party. They are experts at what they do. Would recommend to anyone looking for a fun wedding with non stop dancing!

LIBIDO!!! What a fabulous band. Our daughter's wedding was in the Bahamas and there wasn't anything on island that met our needs. No worries! Libido flew in and wowed the crowd all night. All our guests were raving about how great the band was and the dance floor was full the entire night. They even learned a Lady GAGA song that is not popular right yet for the couples first song. We loved them so much we invited them to the after party for drinks!

The band absolutely makes your party....or not. REMIX was beyond amazing! EVERY single musician was talented, the lead singer beyond, they rocked our party all night long! They let my son-in-law play with the band! I would hire them without a 2nd thought...the whole process was amazing from booking, to picking music, to the DJ who rocked with us till 2 am......REMIX, REMIX, REMIX!!!!!!!

Remix will take your wedding to the next level. From start to finish, our dance floor was packed - all due to Remix's high energy. Remix went out of their way to make our wedding the most special night of our lives. For example, they learned about 6 additional songs (not on their song list) to be played at our wedding - in addition to our first dance and father/daughter mother/son dances. Every guest has commented that our band was the best they had ever seen. At one point during dinner, one of the singers did an incredible rendition of What a Wonderful World by Louis Armstrong. People stood up from their dinner to give a standing ovation. At the end of the night, the crowd chanted for an encore, "one more song", which I have never heard before at a wedding. My wife and I will remember that moment forever!

My wedding was filled with a group of young adults who LOVE to dance. Entourage had us on the dance floor (and stage!) all night long. They really read the crowd. There was not a moment of down time. I have never been to such a lively wedding. I cannot express in words how much fun it was, and that really comes down to the music. I wish I could relive the night every weekend. I truly can't thank Tropics Entertainment and Entourage enough. They are AWESOME! Plus, their voices are sooo good, they hit every song from Elton John to Cardi B and Beyonce perfectly! THANK YOU!!

We had Remix as our Wedding Band! They put on an amazing show and all of our guests where up dancing until 2 am! It was unforgettable! They are amazing! I cannot be happier with the choice. They played many different types of songs and although we had the dj on stand by, we barely used him because they had such great energy. We cannot thank you enough Remix! I searched high and low for a band. I didnt like any of the recommendations from my venue and I felt like I was stuck. I was so thrilled when I stumbled across Remix and knew they would be the perfect band for my wedding. Perfect doesnt begin to describe remix ...normally the whole night everyone tells you how good you look, the whole night people told me the band was amazing. One of my friends even said "it was the best concert hes ever been to". They read the crowd beautifully, played the best music and just couldnt have been better if they tried. They were sweet, and put there all into the music. My friend who is getting married in New Jersey wants to fly them up to play her wedding. 5 stars is an understatement!
