This might be our favorite place in Oregon. Part of me wants to keep this place a secret, but It’s just too amazing to not be shared! We had our wedding here back in May of 2021 (I...
think we might have actually been the first wedding at TCWL!) and had the most wonderful experience! We even came back a year later for my birthday celebration!
We had originally planned to have a much larger wedding at a different venue, but had to cancel due to COVID. A year later, we just happened to stumble upon TCWL on Airbnb. We thought it was just a cabin in the woods, but it turned out to be much more than that!
The property is spectacular! It’s the quintessential PNW wonderland, nestled in a mossy forest with rivers running through. It’s the perfect location for an intimate “Camp Out'' style wedding; there are several cabins throughout the property, as well as tiny homes, TePee’s, camping spots and more! There are also several gorgeous locations for a ceremony and the Main Lodge is a great spot for a reception with plenty of room outside.
The host, Ian, and his crew, are so kind and accommodating. It’s apparent how much love and hard work they’ve put into the property; they always seem to be upgrading and adding new things. There’s a super unique bathhouse/sauna, a deck overlooking the river, trails and plenty of tranquil spots to just relax and enjoy nature.
TCWL is really a special place that My family and I will continue to visit for years to come. I recommend paying a visit to see for yourself; & tell Ian, Dani and Will sent you!
Trout Creek Wilderness Lodge is a one of a kind venue and we knew we wanted to get married there the second we stepped foot onto the property. Ian and his staff were so wonderful a...
nd just want to share their little slice of paradise with others. What they have created is so incredibly beautiful and magical. The coordination from Ian and his team was excellent from start to finish and our wedding turned out better than we could have ever imaged. They provided us with so many resources to make sure our wedding went off without a hitch and were very responsive leading up to and on the weekend of. We did a weekend camp style wedding and our guests stayed in a mix of all the lodging options on the property which were all wonderful. It is such a stunning venue and the activities to keep guests entertained are plenty (swimming/canoeing/floating in the river, sauna, cold plunge, hot tub, hiking, fishing etc. We would highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a magical forest wedding in a very peaceful place. An added bonus is you can rent a cabin when they have availability so we plan to come back to celebrate our anniversary and try to relive the magic. Cannot recommend this place enough!
Trout Creek Wilderness Lodge is the perfect location for a 'glamping' wedding. We loved being able to host all our guests in the multiple different lodging options. Some folks were...
skeptical about staying in tents, but everyone was surprised at how comfy the beds were and how well they slept. We had about 60 guests, and there was plenty of room for everyone. TCWL supplies all the tables and benches, but we did end up renting about 15 chairs with backs for our older guests. TCWL also has all the kitchen gadgets, grills, flashlights, blankets, and tech items (microphone, speakers, etc.) you will need for the weekend; we did not have to rent much extra. One thing to keep in mind is that this site is mostly outdoors so you will need to have a rain plan, depending on your forecast. The owners/manager is helpful and responsive, but I would consider hands-off. You and your guests will need to take care of the space and clean up after yourself. The bath-house and beach areas were AMAZING, and everyone had so much fun in the river and in the hot tub. If you can afford it, I suggest renting the site for 3 nights. We did 2, and I wish we had one more day to spend with all our friends and family. TCWL is a site for the DIY couples; we set-up all our own tables and decorations, as well as cooked all our own food, minus one meal. This site is a great base for however you decide to plan your weekend. It is also stunning as is, and you really do not need much extra decoration. We cooked our own dinner the first night and on the second night had a food truck come out (go look up KCK pizza truck!!) which fit perfectly in the eating space. Overall, I cannot recommend TCWL enough and I had the best wedding weekend.

A truly incredible experience. We could not have had a more perfect weekend, and a lot of that was because of Trout Creek Wilderness Lodge. First, the owners (Ian and Chel) are jus...
t great people overall. Very relaxed, accommodating, and helpful - it seems like they truly want you to have the best weekend possible. Second, the location is some kind of magic. The river, the forest, the bath house, the sky deck, the grove, etc all make for a 10/10 location. They also have everything you'll need for a ceremony and reception, and are willing to answer any and all questions leading up to the weekend.
I cannot recommend Trout Creek enough and would suggest everyone gets married there!
We got married at Trout Creek Wilderness Lodge in July 2023, and it was the most enchanting, incredible place for our wedding. We hosted all our family and friends (120+) for a wee...
klong celebration. Everyone loved the canvas glamping tents and cabins in the woods. The communal lodge was the perfect spot for gathering and preparing shared meals. We had our ceremony on the river deck, and it was the most breathtaking scene, with the natural beauty blessing our union. The river deck turned disco in the evenings and yoga space in the mornings. We enjoyed delicious meals and laughs around the campfire. The staff at TCWL are incredibly kind and responsive. This is the place to be if you want to have a truly magical, forest gathering for your wedding. No cookie cutter corporate vibes to be found here! It is all very down to earth, details are thoughtfully considered, and it is a wonderful place run by wonderful humans.

yone loved their dreamy canvas glamping tents, and the lodge was perfect for communal meals and gathering. We had our ceremony on the river deck, which was lovely and so meaningful. We had dance parties and movie screenings on the river deck in the evenings. We shared many meals and laughs around the fire every night. The venue is spectacular and very intimate and serene. A very unique feel and experience for us and all our guests!
