We hired Troy as our Cocktail musician and to play our first dance song at our wedding. Troy recorded himself playing a version of the first dance song and we were instantly sold on him. We put our trust in him and he over-delivered. The vibe was awesome during cocktail hour, as he played some favorites of ours from Chris Stapleton and he crushed the first dance song! Troy played at the cocktail hour at our wedding and to say he was exceptional is an understatement. We got married almost a year ago and still have people comment about how good he was. Like many other couples, we were impacted by Covid and moved our wedding from Charleston, SC to the Northeast at the last minute. As we were looking for someone to play at our wedding we came across Troy and instantly fell in love with his voice and his music. We love his music so much that we even made our wedding song one of his originals! To make things even better, he’s truly a great person. He made sure everything was perfect and helped us secure everything we needed, even at the last minute. He was extremely patient with us as we worked to replan everything in the shortened timeframe and made the trip from NY to Boston. He was one of the people that truly made our day unforgettable. We would 100% recommend him over and over again, and we cannot wait to attend a show when he is back in Boston. Troy is EXTREMELY talented and exceeded our expectations! Our wedding was at Cowfish, Hampton Bays and he performed for our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. He created the EXACT environment we had envisioned! Walking down the aisle to him singing A Thousand Years and having him sing our wedding song, Made for You, made those moments even more special. He was super easy to work, very responsive to calls and emails and took a lot of time to create the perfect night for us. Our guests are still talking about him months later!!

Hard to put into words how amazing Troy is. He was responsive right from the start and and was a pleasure to work with leading up to the wedding! You can tell he's happy to work with you and just wants to be a part of helping you have the best day ever. We ultimately booked Troy solo for the ceremony and then Troy's Trio for the reception and our guests are still raving about the band! They made our wedding unforgettable and even more special than we could've ever imagined. My husband and I went to take a peek of the reception space during our cocktail hour just to see it before the guests were in there and Troy ended up playing us a new original song him and his wife had just written. We got to have a private first dance and we loved it so much that we asked him to play that for our first dance in front of our friends and family. He created an unforgettable moment for us and a truly unforgettable day for our guests too! His voice is truly out of this world beautiful and we feel so fortunate that he was available on our date! I want to thank Troy for making my son’s wedding complete! It was an intimate wedding of about 30 people at a nice restaurant and Mr. Ramey made the day so memorable with his amazing talent. His voice filled the room with warmth and soul. He was extremely personable and easy to work with. I highly recommend him!

We can not express how wonderful it was to have Troy sing at our wedding. It was the perfect touch to making our day complete. Troy sang his song “woman” as our first dance and it was magical. Troy is amazing! We had him sing for our beach wedding then the trio played for the cocktail hour and our guests were blown away! He is professional, kind, and immensely talented. There are not enough stars here for Troy. He is AMAZING and I cannot recommend him enough. I happened to see him play at a wine bar before we even starting wedding planning. His voice stuck with me so much that when we started thinking about live music for our cocktail hour months later, Troy was the first person to come to mind. I tracked him down via social media and figured it would be a long shot that he would play at a wedding, but I was so happy to find out that weddings are his jam! Troy made our day so so special. He played our cocktail hour and gave it the exact chill, intimate vibe we were looking for with his amazing voice. He also played our first dance song which was so incredibly special to have sung live. All of our guests (And or dj company!) raved about him. I’m addition to being amazingly talented, Troy was so easy to work with. Due to COVID, we rescheduled or wedding three times. Each time, Troy was the first of my vendors I reached out to to see if he was available on our new date. He worked with us every time with rescheduling and was alway prompt with responding. He reached out with suggestions when we were stuck on our first dance song, was super easy to communicate with and is truly a kind person. If you are lucky enough that he is available for your date- lock it up!!!!

Troy set the mood for our Labor Day Weekend wedding with his beautiful and soulful voice! Troy brought such positivity and professionalism to our wedding. He was prompt, highly responsive in the planning stages and helped with recommendations throughout the process. We hired Troy to sing during our cocktail hour and our first dance. Troy is absolutely AMAZING. He sang at my cocktail hour and sang our first dance song. Such a soulful voice and great person to work with. Everyone couldn’t stop raving about how amazing he was!!! Even my venue specifically came to me to tell me how awesome he was to work with. You are missing out if you don’t have him at your wedding or any other big event!!!!! Couldn't have been happier. At one point the guests all moved to the wrong space before our first dance and he was so easy going about it - just said ok no problem just give me 5 min to move all of my stuff inside. Sooooo happy he was there to make our day even more special :)

Troy made our wedding so special and was the easiest vendor for us to work with. We had the three-piece band play for cocktail hour and the first half of our reception. They were able to play all of our first dances live which made it so special. So many guests were coming up to us and saying how amazing Troy's voice was! We were also able to use them for DJing service for the second half of our reception and they listened to all of our requests. I would book Troy Ramey again 100% and recommend him and his team. I've been to weddings with live music and MCs that are just so corny and embarrassing and was so worried about my day but Troy's group is so authentic, skilled and professional! Book him - he will be the easiest vendor to work with and you will have zero regrets!

Wish I could leave Troy more stars! Him and the rest of the band played at my wedding and my guests absolutely loved it. Provided amazing energy the entire night. Troy also performed acoustic songs during the ceremony, making for an unbelievable walk down the aisle. Amazing!!

Troy was absolutely amazing! He performed for our family in the past for various events, and we called him back for my daughter's wedding day. He (and his two musicians) performed for the ceremony and during the cocktail hour. They arrived early and were very professional, setting up and ensuring their sound system was flawless. Their music and Troy's amazing voice were the perfect touch, and I am still getting many compliments from our guests.

Troy was absolutely amazing! He did our ceremony and cocktail hour and then he had his fantastic DJ partner up with him to do the reception. The combination was perfect! We used Troy for our Newport RI wedding and could not have been more pleased. His communication from the initial introduction to the day of the wedding was fantastic and Troy was willing to do whatever it took to make the day as special as he could. Wow, just Wow! We asked Troy to sing for our Ceremony & Cocktail hour. Of course, we were trying to keep our budget down and this was an extra expense that we hadn't planned for, but having Troy set the tone for the evening was one of the best decisions we made! Worth every single penny and more. We asked Troy to play a few songs that were not on his list, and he did an amazing job.

It's hard to find the words to describe how amazing Troy is. We hired Troy to play for our engagement party. He brought a drummer and a guitar player, and the music was absolutely amazing. Troy is an incredibly talented musician and singer. He showed up on time, setup quickly and did an amazing job performing with two other musicians. He blew us all away with his singing. It’s not often that I take the time out to write a review, but I cannot stop thinking about how amazing this guy was (and it wasn’t even my event)! Troy played at my cousin’s wedding and everything he sang made us all melt. His rendition of At Last during the ceremony made me cry my eyes out, as if I wasn’t already emotional! I'm sure everyone has said this before, but 5 Stars are just not enough. Who would have thought that the cocktail hour would have been the highlight of the evening?! We booked Troy for my daughter's cocktail hour and we knew it was going to be special because nobody has a voice like his, but he truly blew us away. All of our family and guests continue to talk about how special it was. We are so grateful!

My fiancé and I hired Troy Ramey for our wedding in New Jersey, and I wouldn't think twice to hire him again or recommend him for someone else's wedding. He sounds just as good if not better than he did when he was in the top 12 on The Voice. He really does have "lifetimes" in his voice and "all the greats rolled up into it at once" just as Alicia Keys told him. He put every bit of effort singing his heart out on our wedding day. His voice is both soulful and soothing. He has a voice that is powerful and has the ability to transcend generations. Troy is very humble and easy to work with. He showed up early to set up and sent us a list before our wedding with his song list for us to choose from. He was even willing to learn new songs if we wanted a specific song for our wedding. He sang "Dance with my Father" for my dance with my dad and it was filled with emotion. I will never forget it. Thank you Troy for making our day so special!

Troy sang the first dance song at our wedding and it could not have been more perfect. His voice is incredible, and his personal arrangement of a well-known song really took the performance to another level. Our guests continue to rave about him and several have used him for their own weddings! If there's a possible down side to having him sing for your event, it's that it's a little hard to focus on your new spouse rather than on his voice. Logistically, he was incredibly pleasant to deal with throughout the planning process and was an absolute professional on the big day. We were lucky to know him before The Voice - I'm sure he books up twice as early now that he's gotten some of the widespread exposure he deserves. We can not say enough nice things about him as a person or as a vendor/performer and if you have the chance to work with him we are sure you'll feel the same way.

Troy was awesome. He was a friend of a friend whose voice I've loved for years and was willing to travel to get to our venue. He was polite, prompt and worked so well with all of our needs throughout the process. Plus, and this is really the important thing, Troy is relaxed, professional and got along with everyone.
